Their tomato soup is the best soup I have ever had!!!!! I don't even like tomato soup, but this stuff is fantastic!!!! Also, they give you tons of food!! I always leave full and happy!!!

We have eaten at Cedar Inn several times and generally find the food to be good and service fast and friendly. This last time, I thought the oil used for frying the hash browns had an off taste.

Nice little, casual, diner. Plenty of goodies for desert and the rest of the food is pretty decent. Seems like a fair price. Flies, however, have infested this town. It's that or there is one fly constantly filtering me. Ecolab needs to stop by and sell their fly catcher

There Food is Average and I mean not Great nor is it Bad, it's edible that's it ! There's no calenary cheifs here just self taught home town cooks the service was acceptible, not rude nor overly polite, the floors,tables and men's room were clean and that's a real plus and speaks about the pride both owners and employees have for the Business.I found there prices more than reasonable.All in all 5 star review all the way !

Places like this are hard to rate. Food is well done home town diner food. The cedar sausage is made in house and is a must have. But, the place is a bit dated.

This is a perfect place for hunters and fisherman to stop at for a bite to eat being it’s homestyled meals. Also family friendly. It’s your typical family owned, small town diner. The food is cheap considering how huge the portions are. I got the cedar sausage breakfast and was impressed, also the owner greeted us and stopped by later to make sure everything was going well.

The food was greasy and most of the ingredients tasted cheap. The butter was so fake that it foamed up on my toast. Huge portions of food. And the coffee was watered down. But it was edible and the staff was very nice.

A fair restaurant for the price of the food. Nothing fancy. I ordered beef stroganoff for about 9 bucks...the noodles were more done than I'd prefer but the stroganoff sauce had some tender meat and mushrooms. I got ice cream for takeout and that was good. You get what you pay for.

Very good place to enjoy a lunch or dinner. Best of staff and owners. Wide selection to chose from. great service and extra good specials every day which is hand made everyday from deserts, soups, specials of the day, and so much more. also great catering too which is also made fresh and by hand not a box or bag or frozen from a freezer. They always take alot of pride in all they serve and do. Very clean and friendly atmosphere.

Ehhhhhhh... Not worth it. Wife and I couldn't finish our meals because the food wasn't great. We got two deluxe breakfasts and wish we just went to Tim's or Robin's. The food was expensive and I feel like we didn't pay for the food just a massive amount of disappointment. The sausage was just gross and tasted undercooked. Our toast was old and chewy and not buttered. Hashbrowns were just frozen freezer burned potato chunks and were only edible with massive amounts of ketchup. We got sunny side up eggs and they were cooked over easy. The bacon and ham were fine. How does breakfast get messed up? It's the quickest and easiest meal to serve. As a side note; Why do I want an orange slice in my eggs? Who does that? We were curious to try this since they have a big cult following and people rave about it. We won't be back because it is highly overrated and expensive. I feel like half of the island doesn't have taste buds anymore or they just never had actual food fit for human consumption because the worst restaurants are rated well. And if the excuse is because it's a cheap "greasy spoon" or whatever diner then you've never had real diner food from an actual diner.

The all-you-can-eat walleye dinner at $14.95 was terrific. I had it pan fried and it was deliciously moist and succulent. My friends had theirs deep fried and they had golden brown exteriors and hot but moist interiors. If you like walleye, this is definitely a meal for you. And, the service was attentive, efficient, and unobtrusive.

I travel a lot and try and eat at the local places when I can. I got eggs, hashbrowns and bacon. The eggs were ok. The hashbrowns were burnt on the outside and cool in the middle. The bacon was burnt on one half and just about raw on the other. I was 1 of 3 people here so I don't think they were busy. I also got 3 tiny "large" orange juice that cost more than my main course. Make up your own mind but I won't be coming back.
