Wonderful western atmosphere, and area history of the cowboys and ranchers displayed in photographs. Food is delicious and service is great. Our party for 100 guests, for dinner and dance was a relaxing event, with every detail taken care by owner and staff.

ABSOLUTELY wonderful service & food. The best service we have had in a long time. Could have done without the lady cook dropping the f-bomb every 2 minutes, listening to her loudly try to engage in a personal conversation with our server about some guy making her cry and cussing as she's telling a story about shopping in Bismarck while visiting her grandkids. It would have been 5 stars had we not had to listen to the language through our meal.

Buckskin Bar and grill used to be a decent place to eat and hang out. They had premium fresh beef cuts and wonderful cooks. Now, the atmosphere is dull, the food is horrible. The meat is frozen and tastes terrible. The prices have gone up despite the decline in service and food quality. During the oil boom, waitresses were hired based on looks and conduct was inappropriate. The owner is very rude!! They had a sewer leak in the kitchen that flooded the kitchen, food prep area and dishwashing station that has never been properly addressed. It is still the same floor and the restaurant smells like sewage. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. Locals do not eat here because it is common to become ill afterwards!

Pricey and tasty We got the medium pepperoni pizza it fed me and my 3 year old with a couple of leftover pieces. Very tasty lots of sauce the pepperoni was big and tasty but there wasn't much of it for the added $1.75 charge. We'd come back but not often due to it being about $10 more for most entries than most places.

Ate there few times. The food is over priced but thats how it is in the oil fields. The cooks need to learn the difference between med and rare. Also the pizza isnt very good. And most of the serves ignor you. Really isnt worth the money to eat there. Two thumbs down.

Been there before and the service was great, this time.....meh, lame. I saw my waitress a total of only three times the entire time I was there, took FOREVER to even get my drink, much less my food. Food was only BARELY warm when I got it and when I got the baked potato instead of bringing me butter and sour cream what did they bring me? Butter and HORSERADISH!!! This visit left a bad taste in my mouth in more ways than one

I was impressed with visiting this restaurant. It was a cool place to visit and eat. They have spent a lot of time doing special types of decorations. Bar on one side of the building. Restaurant on the other side. Wood floors. Watch the cooks. Seperate decorated room area for partys.

This place like most places in Killdeer nd have gone down hill drastically and still charging oil boom prices. Very sad. Pis poor service and food is below average. You're better off driving the extra milage to Dickinson.

I'm 26, and I've been going here since I was 2. I grew up in the area and this has always been a family meeting place. I ordered the ribeye and that was easily the worst steak I ever had and it was $26.00. I use to recommend this place, but now l recommend not wasting your money.

Food is decent for sure but the service in this place is slow. Been there twice in the last week and it wasn't crazy busy but both times the servers don't pay attention to you. That was once in the dining room and another in the bar. And the prime rib though giant was tough and flavorless, no aujus served with it.

Best burgers around and fast! They went above and beyond when I called in an order to feed a crew of 16 hungry pipeliners. Everything was hot and ready to go when I came to pick it up, and each burger was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the Killdeer area and need a good meal!

Great food and service, we've been many times and they've always been very accommodating. They do go through servers very quickly though (they almost never have the same person twice) and my husband and I have noticed some kitchen staff being very rude towards the servers. I hope they can fix that issue or I will, sadly, no longer be spending my money there.

The first night I ate here I got food poisoning. I have it another chance a week later because the is no where else to eat in killdeer. I ordered jumbo wings. Them being the smallest wings IH had ever seen was fine but they were dripping with grease. I did not order grease flavored wings but that is what I got. I ordered a Stromboli a few days later and they gave me a pizza. Two stars because the wait staff is fantastic.

Just decent, stromboli is actually a calzone decent size. Slow on service, 9 people in establishment 2 bartenders very slow service. Some pretty decent food selection for the town, basically your only dining option.

Have eaten here several times...food is fantastic, and suprisngly consistent.....belongs in a bigger city....lacking one star due to wait times as being secondary after waitresses are done flirting at the bar.....I am not ugly.....but have watched on several occasions patrons waiting for drinks after bartenders walk by them a few times, to serve others who came after

There isn't much for restaurant options when you're in Killdeer, but Buckskin makes up for it! The ribeye I ordered was cooked to the perfect "doneness", and I got more than enough food for the amount that I paid. Service was great and made it an all around good experience. Would definitely eat here again!

The cook here can't seem to cook anything to the appropriate done-ness. Often the meat is under seasoned with salt. The shoestring french fries are labeled as steak fries. On the plus side the potato and ham soup was delicious.

My experience here was really bad. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of cole slaw the sandwich was cold and didn't taste right. The cole slaw was made with lettuce and was discolored. When I called to complain I was treated very rudely. I also went in to talk to the cook and was treated even worse and was told they would make it right just to shut me up and get me out of there. I do not recommend this place at all................

Great place for steaks! Probably my favorite place to eat in the Bakken truth be told. A rustic cowboy/rancher/rodeo theme. Equity with A bar area, a center section, and a pure dining area allows for choice environment. Great friendly staff..... hmmmm, I think I have leftovers to attend to!

The charcoal grilled chicken sandwich was Excellent the chicken was juicy and tasty. The Bread was so light & fresh. Some of the specialty items where $$$$ but the sandwich came with fries was $11.00 no Drink. I felt like they should have a had a lunch special menu but there special menu starts at 5pm
