The staff was great and friendly. I was hoping the burgers were juicy but mine was dry. For how much the Nachos cost I was expecting a pretty amount of cheese and toppings. More like chips on a plate.

Better than the other reviews! Don't let the other reviews fool you. If you need somewhere reasonable and good to eat while in Medora check out this place. Ate the ribs and chicken and they were both good. Both dishes come with 2 sides each. Skip the veggies but the onion rings, sweet potato fries and salad were all good choices. Be sure to say hi to Kyle and Jake while you're there ! They'll make sure you have a good time and enjoy your meal.

I had their 1/3 pound Black n Blue burger, supposed to have Cajun seasoning but I dont think so. I ask waiter for medium... pink inside, brought out well done, had to do another which was far more juicy. Still, I'd say this place is only average. We will try a different joint tomorrow

The service was terrible. My family and I sat down at the table closest to the door entrance. We waited at that table for fifteen minutes to get service. We then moved to a table close to the bar and finally received service. Upon ordering drinks and food it took 45 minutes. Steak and walleye were cold. The sauteed onions were still raw and the overall cost for the overall product was insane. Ill be spending over a hundred dollars at a better restaurant next time.

My last visit here was not as good as previous visits. The food is good and the staff is helpful. This visit seemed a little helter skelter, waiters somewhat disorganized, noise level, not music but patrons, was almost to much, couldn't wait to get out of the noise.

Wow, little hole in the wall honky tonk bar and restaurant in the Badlands of North Dakota. I had the 8 oz sirloin. A perfect cut cooked properly. The fries were skin on cooked in fresh oil. Crisp an perfect. The walleye filet was slightly over cooked but never the less fresh. Wine pours were ample and the service was excellent.

We always look forward to going there because the egg rolls are so good. Tonight my husband ordered the jumbo shrimp for $27 with a side of fries and got 5 small shrimp, smaller than his lemon wedge. Then we thought there must be some mistake so we asked the waitress and she gave us $10 off so he got 5 small shrimp and french fries for $17 still way too much. We will definitely still make special trips to Medora for dinner but we won't go there.

Be sure to grab a seat/table about 1 hr 15 mins before you're hungry. No food should take that long. The AC unit was blowing full blast on our table. Manager came by and I explained and she cranked it up higher!

Waited 1 1/2 hours for food. 2hen food was delivered we were informed what they were out of what we ordered and brought a bunch if stuff our kids would not eat then expected us to pay for the slop. Will never, ever stop there again.

Jake was cool, gave good beer recommendations and service. However, the price of the meals we ordered (22 and 28 bucks for fried fish and shrimp respectively) didn't really make it worth it. Good beer, rock/country bar atmosphere, but food was waaaay overpriced.

I'd say this restaurant had an overall good atmosphere. Service was very fast and the servers were friendly. I think we got our food only about 7 minutes after ordering. If the food was as good as the service and atmosphere I'd give this a five-star rating, but unfortunately the food was just all right. The nachos were decent and the stout I had was very good, but are French dip was more like a dry roast beef you'd make in the crock pot and not really a typical French style au jus. The bacon on the cheeseburger was delicious but the cheeseburger itself was also just average. Overall food rating is simply average.

The only thing good about eating there today was our fabulous waitress. We waited for an hour for our food and ended up having to take one of the kids to the car because he was so bored and tired. And then when we finally got our food my BLT was a disaster. The tomatoes were so thick and the bacon was not cooked properly and hanging off the sandwich. The french fries were good. My granddaughter's cheese sandwich was fresh but it was cold and my daughter didn't even get to eat because she had to be with the baby in the vehicle. Won't be going there anytime soon. The foods too expensive anyway for the amount you get and how badly it was cooked.

Never had good service or food... jumbo shrimp are cocktail shrimp with 2 more. My steak came out completely uncooked. When they put it back on they over cooked it and it was not seasoned (also not bone in like the menu). The owner came over to try to blame the shrimp on their supplier not having jumbo shrimp any more... he also had a few drinks in him, then berated the waitress in front of everyone. They then tried to charge for a walleye that never came out after 30 mins as a substitution for the "jumbo shrimp". I will never go back.

Waited over an hour for our food. Waitress was no where to be found. I had to go find her and then she said the food would be over 30 minutes and asked us to pay for our sodas that we never even got refilled still. Absolutely rediculous. Service was horrible and no apology. If you don’t have a few hours pick somewhere else.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Dogs allowed on back deck. They serve beer from a brewery in the area, Wibaux, MT. Prompt, friendly service, salad was ok, pizza was a pleasant surprise, very thin crust. Seems like the best place to watch sports in town.

The food is good, we came here with all of our family for breakfast, but both mornings the staff was pretty rude. Would give it zero stars, if that was possible! Horrible experience! The service was terrible! We asked our waitress about gluten free options ( I have Celiac Sprue) and she said that they had none and then proceeded telling us that the sour cream had gluten! At that point I knew that she had no idea what gluten was... I decided to just have water and the rest people in our group would have lunch. The waitress rudely said “if you don’t want to eat here then just leave”. We told her that we were fine and ordered drinks and lunch ( except for myself). Within minutes a your man, also a waiter, maybe 18-20years old, asked us what was the issue and said that the waitress told him that we called her stupid! At that point we were done with that place!!!! You don’t tell people to go someplace else if you ask about their dietary options!!!! I’m surprised that places like that are still open. Shame on you!!!

It took a few minutes for our waiter to realize we were there, but otherwise no complaints about the service. Just a word of advice - don’t waste your money on the sautéed walleye. It was a small portion that had absolutely no seasoning and the piece of lettuce under it was covered in oil. Also, the dinner roll promised on the menu never found its way to the table. Not a good value for $22, but then again, this is a tourist town.

I had dinner here and enjoyed it so much I returned for breakfast. Dinner was a juicy bison burger and breakfast was an egg & bacon burrito that were both delicious. The staff was great. Shout out to Kyle who saved my bacon by going out of his was to mail an item I left behind by accident. I’ll definitely dine here again if I return to Medora.

The waitress named Huma was rude and obnoxious. I was unsure if it was because she was ignorant or just lazy. The burger was dry and trastless and when you added the extra cost for onions, lettuce, tomato it was insulting. If you are thinking about eating here save your money, the service and food is better anywhere else. Shameful that such a beautiful place has such a tasteless and unprofessional establishment.
