That is a bar and grill right in Horace across the street from the fire house had a couple of drinks and played there new pull tabs casino games and my hubby they remodel inside and out very nice placr

This was our first visit to Big Erv's. Place was very busy for a Wednesday evening with lots of locals there for food and beverage. We had an enthusiastic new server. The menu is expansive but I would say the food is just basic. Lots of menu choices though so you will probably find something to like.

Good service, awesome food. Had the misfortune of showing up when they had bingo so we got the last table in the house and it was NOISEY. Every bingo player in the place must've been dead as they kept yelling to turn it up. Decent prices, arrived hot and fresh. Certainly tastey.

Went here with my husband on his lunch break and the service was terrible and the food wasnt much better....at least mine wasn't. We watched our food sit in the window for a good 10 minutes and the bartender/servers just standing at the other end of the bar talking. Finally when we got our food my husbands was luke warm and mine was ice cold. The water tasted just lethal. I certainly didn't drink it. Not a good experience...won't be coming back here.

This is a place you have to stop. Classic bar food, but always served with a huge smile and great atmosphere. The place is as clean as a small town bar should be and the servers check on you the right amount. Plus, outdoor seating for the summer!

Went there for the first time on my lunch break and the service was rough. There was maybe 2 or 3 other gentleman at the bar and a couple tables and it felt like I was being actively ignored. Employees would walk back and forth behind bar having private conversations. Ordered a plate of nachos and it came out a mess and beef was barely warm.

We were there for The 2nd Annual Big Erv's NDSU Fans Cooking & Spirit Award competition. Lots of fun. Friendly/fast staff. TV's all over to watch the game. Larger than I realized initially because there's a separate bar area behind the main building. Easily accessible in Horace.

Came in on a Saturday night. The place was hopping but the food came in a timely manner and had good flavor. Salad bar was a bit on the small side but very fresh.

Alot of construction in the area but never anyone their for lunch. I was there once but found my meal to be over priced. Probably why not much traffic at lunch. Service is slow.

I never review bars as i have managed bars for years and recently sold my bar. However in the last couple months I've been out a few times for drinks. Never waited for a drink- polite, fast and professional. Not only have i recieved great service but watching the staff, they are always on the move. Just ordered food for family. Was great!! Place has always been busy. Keep up with this service and its gonna get expensive.....when you have to add on!!

Remodel really made the place enjoyable to spend time in. Had a wonderful burger! Horace FD 5 Alarm burger made me smile. Staff was very attentive. Going to try ruben next time. I hear it is very good.

Over priced drinks and a vastly underwhelming atmosphere. Decent food but again it's overpriced and they under-deliver. For 10 bucks you would think that a cheeseburger would come with fries not the cheapest generic potato chips available. A 15 minute drive would stretch your dollar twice as far at dozens of places. But, they do have the bar Market cornered in Horace.

After almost 10 years on living in Horace we gave Big Ervs a try... it was GREAT. The kids hung out and played on the patio and we were able to mingle and visit with a big group for the evening.

Very busy place. Great service. Don't get the chicken bites, hard as a rock and way too much breading. I couldn't eat them but they took them off my bill. Mac n cheese was delicious.

It's the only bar in Horace, but it's still worth a short drive if you live in the souht part of Fargo. They have a full bar with lots of seating and the food is great.

I had the Wentz- the bread was wonder bread revisited- try ciabatta or a French bread. The fries were McDonalds- with no seasoning- yuk. My husband had wings- they were underdone and had so much sauce they were mushy. A disappointing meal. We had to ask for water and silver ware. Not going back for a long while. I love it, the stars won’t do anything but five - I rate it a two star.

My fiance and I went here for the first time and we were really disappointed in the service. We sat at a table for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged, then finally gave up and walked up to the bar to sit and it took another 5 minutes until someone approached us saying “what do you need?”. It might’ve just been because we are young and in our 20s. We wanted to love it but unfortunately were not impressed

This is definitely not your usual assortment of burgers on the menu, and that's a good thing. I had the 5 Alarm burger & it was delicious. Edit. I've visited Big Erv's a few more times now. The food is excellent. The nachos are among the best I've ever had, they definitely don't skip on the toppings. Usually at most places you'll be left with a pile of bare chips that were buried underneath, not here. And I've had numerous different servers that all share one thing in common, they're excellent!
