This review is targeting the food only, or I should say what I ordered. I ordered the Bison burger and my son ordered a burger with egg. Let me tell you, this so called bison burger tasted exactly like the burger my son was eating. Now for those who have had a bison burger knows there is no way for a beef burger can taste like a bison burger. They also thought they would be slick and add a blue cheese hot sauce mixture on top to throw the unsuspecting patron off. Well think again...wont be coming back any time soon...

We went there yesterday for my Birthday dinner and was great. Started with the Fried Pickles and for dinner we had the Tuna Sandwich (cooked perfectly, large portion and served with a mayo wasabi that was amazing) and a Ball Park Burger that's topped with an Italian Sausage, and had peppers in it....yummy. Definitely a good place for dinner.

The service and atmosphere is good. Our waitress was attentive, quick and accurate. The food was terrible. The fried oysters were a frozen product, the burgers were incorrectly and over seasoned, the shrimp dip was clumpy and dry, but the fries were good. My wife's draft beer was warm, and the bottled beer was ok but no glass. I would not reccomend this place over a fast food joint because that's what you're gonna get.

Was looking forward to eating here, have seen very good reviews! The problem we had was that we stood at the counter for roughly 5-10 minutes, and no one came out. They were in the back hanging out, you could here them. Finally come out as we were leaving. To bad!

A great restaurant ~the 5.5MP in KDH, tucked away in the corner of the Seagate North shopping center. Solid beer selection, friendly staff, and some really good food. Their 'Caroline Pickle Brine' chicken sandwich is amazing. Also recommend the "Oysters Outer Banks" sampler (the 'Oysters Nags Head' are my personal fave). Have been there 7 or 8 times, and have never had a bad experience. One of the better restaurants in the OBX...Definitely worth checking out!

Go here. If you want top notch friendly and courteous service, ask for Kayla, she and the gal who was also serving the night we visited this well kept secret were phenomenal. They both very much appeared to be wearing the pants of at least 3 employees each. Courteously and with smiles, hosting,waiting and bussing every station within our eyeshot. When I go out to eat, its unusual for me to bear witness to the level of excellence these two gals showed. Oh, and the food was awesome too. Try anything, youll be delighted!

Tasty food, quick service, and Genny Cream Ale in the can! Two Roads Tavern is only two years old, but looks to have what it takes to make it for the long haul. Lots of creative combinations when it comes to burgers and sandwiches, solid sides, and a full bar. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. All in all, a comfortable place for a meal. I was there for lunch and had the Ballpark Burger with onion rings. Excellent choice. Highly recommend trying them out. Be advised, they are not easily noticed from the road. If you drive past, do turn around and go back.

Not heavily breaded, perfectly fried, oysters were huge, sides were delicious, portions were very generous. Chicken brine sandwich was outstanding! Will definitely go back my next visit.

Unfortunately I have to rate this restaurant at 2 star. Very poor service was not what I expected for first time going there, I still left 20% for the tip even though it wasn't worth it. The waitress asked us one time if we were okay about 30 minutes into our meal. Got more service from the hostess than the waitress. Not a very large selection of food worst chicken wings I've ever had really do not recommend this place for dinner if you are a drinker they have a bar with a lot of different beers on tap but I don't drink so I can honestly say if that's worth a damn or not either.

It's not real easy to see this place from the road, but it is definitely worth going here. My wife had the shrimp po boy and loved it. I had the PB & J dog and it was really creative and tasty. We had fried pickles, our friends got gravy fries. Both were good. The menu is creative and inspired and has something for everyone. An extensive selection of micro brews too.

Went to watch a football game at the bar and get some lunch while we waited to check into our cottage. They have a good selection of craft beer on tap and lots in cans and bottles. Bar environment is perfect for hanging out and watching sports, with lots of TV's and a clean bar area. Service at the bar was also great. The mens restroom was pretty dirty with toilet paper all over the place. Being that it was just after opening on Saturday, I can only guess that they had not yet cleaned up from a busy friday night. We had onion rings for an appetizer which were decent. My wife had a crab cake sandwich and I had the oyster po'boy. Both were served with a delicious garlic aioli which, quite frankly, made up for the fact that seafood in the sandwiches was nothing special. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back to drink at the bar and watch sports. I would, however, like to try something different to eat like the burgers, pickle brine sandwich, or the pimento cheese dog. More than a few locals came in to order take out during our time at the bar (a good sign) and these menu items were what they ordered.

This place is tucked away in the corner of a shopping center unsuspectingly at MP 5.5. The service is great! The food is OUTSTANDING! Had the cheese curds and Surf & Turf. The sauteed green beans were some of the best I've ever eaten and the sweet potato fries were to die for. The steak was perfectly cooked and the shrimp were excellent. I really can't say enough good things about this place.

The food here is excellent. There are just those times like you feel like having a real hamburger and this is the place. My son and I had ours with pesto and motzerrela cheese it was delicious. The fries are real cut potatoes and our side order of onion rings were fat and juicy. They also offer a chicken sandwich made with brine that rivaled chick fill a only better. Lots of local beer on tap and our waitress Bobbie was fantastic. Definitely worth going too if you had your fill of seafood.

Fried Pickles, great burgers, salads and a full bar make this place a must top on your rotation of great Outer Banks eateries. They play The Replacements and a whole bunch of other cool bands off of the Bar Tender's rotation of music. Staff is welcoming and the decor screams "Rainy Beach Day Adult Day Care" in the bar area with wide variety of draft beers and what looks to be a full stocked bar. I hope this place takes off. It is well put together with the attention to detail that betrays the fact that the owners know what they are doing. Enjoy!

Wish I could go lower!! Today is 10/7/18. My family and myself just arrived in town for a week. We searched online for places close by with very good reviews. We decieded on Two Roads. When we arrived just a little after 7 pm we were greeted with a smile by a young lady. This was the best we received from our visit. We were walked through the empty place and sat in the corner which is fine since we have 3 kids and an infant and sometimes the baby cries. We were then greated about 5 minutes later by our waitress. We placed our drink orders and looked at the menu. When she returned about 5 minutes later we placed all the orders and some fries for the kids to start with as we had been in car for 6 hours. They arrived in about 10 minutes and were good. Then the wait started...she came by once to refill our drinks and then was gone. After about 30 minutes she came back and picked up the plates and said our food would be right out. Well she was gone again. I saw her seating others but never came to tell us what was going on with our order. Our kids all ordered buttered noodles, I got a veggie burger, and my wife got Tuna entree rare. My wife's side salad never even came out. After she didn't come back to check or tell us about the order and the kids were starving and getting restless we decided to leave. We looked for her to pay our bill for the fries but she never came around. I threw a $5 on table and left as we all had H2O to drink. I mean come on how can it be so bad????? Also one more thing...please do some research on what is appropriate to serve with the Vegan Burgers. 1) You can't use a brioche bun because by definition it contains egg and butter 2) You have tzatziki sauce as a topping on one of the burgers which is either a yogurt or sour cream base product.

The best food on the Outer Banks!! Well worth the price and it is not your typical burger joint. Burgers are amazingly good and fun! Environment is comfortable and very clean. My Fiancé and I always get the Hershey bar cake when we go I recommend it.

Friendly little beach watering hole with decent pub fare. Good beer selection with a laid-back atmosphere and lots of TVs playing sports. My partner and I had fried pickles as an app (very delicious), then we split 2 sandwiches-- the tuna steak sandwich (great) and the fried shrimp Po boy (just OK, the shrimp were good but the bun was huge and it made the sandwich a little dry). Good place to go for a cheap(ish) meal and a beer.
