Tried this place a while ago with some co-workers for lunch. We all got wings and all loved the flavor/crunch. I finally got around to trying it again and was extremely disappointed. I ordered takeout, and a good thing I did because the dining room was randomly closed for some event. I drove far for these wings tho and was really excited. I was very sad to discover both sets of wings were soggy and the sauce was just poured over the top (not tossed) and was mostly puddled at the bottom of the box. They didn't seem fully cooked. It seemed like they rushed my order to get ready for their event and my stomach is really paying for it today. I won't be back.

Today was my first time & the food was soooo delicious. I placed a to-go order with pork dumplings and 10 chicken wings with soga sauce - DELICIOUS! The pork dumplings are nice and crispy on the outside while juicy in the inside - highly recommend. The chicken wings are delicious beacuse the texture is uncommon. I will try another sauce on the wings the next time and maybe two orders of delicious dumplings!

Had the small plate Beef bulgogi that came with a side of miso soup and a cup of salad after having a dental procedure done earlier in the day, so I couldn't eat what I typically get: the spicy beef or pork bulgogi. I don't know what the ingredients they use to marinade their meats with but it's absolutely tasty!

Today we had my daughter's 17th birthday party hosted by Soo Cafe. I can't say enough good things. We rented out the Karaoke room and the kids enjoyed Kpop and singing their favorite songs. They ate wonderful Korean food. So happy with how everything went. Thanks to everyone tonight at Soo Cafe for making it such a memorable event.

Always love this place. The Korean fried chicken is the best in Raleigh, perhaps even on the east coast. The soy garlic sauce is fabulous with just the right amount of spice, comes as SOGA on the menu. The bibimbap is just right and the spicy pork bulgolgi is so good. If youve not tried Korean and want a great place to try, Soo cafe is definitely the place to go

Interesting food in a nice atmosphere. You might want to orient your seat to get the appropriate amount of the television doing pop Korean music videos. They are very distracting. Food covers a range of spices and is plentiful.

Thoroughly unimpressed. Read good reviews about their wings... wanted to try. Unexpected bone fragment poked a hole in the roof of my mouth! 3 out of 6 wings had broken bones, the taste of marrow is not pleasant. Too much breading. Had to pay extra for any sides like rice and kimchee. Waitress was not rude but not nice at all and totally did not want to be there... but was quick with refill. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Came here yesterday for dinner with a friend and IT WAS AMAZING !! As a vegetarian I get the hot vegetable bibimbap, which was soo delicious, and steaming hot just the way I like ! My friend fell in love with the fried chicken from the very first bite. Recommended Soo Cafe to 3 of my peers and all of them fell in love !

Food may be great but service is not. As soon as we were arrived we were sat. On the door was a sign for "Waitress Needed". After we were sat we waited for 20 mins before we had to flag the server down and ask her to please take our order. Mind you, we have not been asked for drinks or served any drinks at this point. She takes our order which we had to get to-go in order to get back to work. Even after taking our order we were still offered no relief for our now very parched mouths. The terrible thing is that they weren't that busy. Wasn't even a lunch crowd like other restaurants have. Will update once I get a chance to actually taste the food that I am still waiting on forty minutes after ordering. Update: The food was absolutely delicious but we did not receive it until we walked out. Not a place to go if you are in a hurry on a lunch break. I would definitely recommend the food. Being someone stationed in Korea for two years it was extremely authentic. Recommend going there for food but if it's a tight fit in your schedule order ahead!

Best wings in Raleigh. Super crispy and juicy. They have 4 or 5 different kinds of Asian style sauces but you can order them plain and bring your own. Very friendly service. Don't miss this place!

Updating my review. Family goes here several times a month. My daughter loves their pork dumplings. They're pan fried on both sides so they are more crunchy. I can't get enough of the shrimp. They don't batter coat them, more like a light dusting. And of course the chicken. The additional sauce combinations and crushed peanuts are great. If you've never had the sweet, pickled radish, try it. Like little cubes of apple in rice vinegar.

The food is amazing and well prepared and the restaurant is so cute on the inside. K-pop videos are always playing on a large TV and makes for a fun atmosphere. The wait staff is severely understaffed and the bibimbap comes in a skillet--It should come in a stone bowl. I can appreciate the adaptation, but let's not mess with an icon. Had our waiter remembered our fried chicken order, I'm sure it would have been great. And the only alcohol options are Dos Equis and Heineken...? Come on... They need to work in their presentation.

Delicious Korean fried chicken! First time going tonight and was impressed by the food. The original sauce is the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. They have a huge tv that plays K-Pop, however, they have the volume up a bit loud so it's kind of hard to hear the people you're talking to.

I have been several times and always get the same thing, the chicken wings flavored with the Soga sauce or the original which is spicier. Atmosphere is comfortable and the K Pop playing on the TV soon fades into the background. Usually only one or two servers but service was quick enough. The last time I went I had a first time diner with me who couldn't decide on a flavor. The server brought samples for him to try. The chicken has always been hot and crunchy and well flavored.

This was one of if not the best chicken lunch I have had. The Seaweed Salad was seasoned just right and in just the right portion. The chicken was perfect and that is not a word I use lightly. The glaze on the chicken had just the right amount of sweet to heat ratio. Couldn't have asked for better service as well. I can't recommend this place enough. Go in settle back and enjoy the atmosphere, with dim lighting, the Korean pop music, and service like no other. A true hidden gem.

One of the best lunch experiences I've had in some time. The BBQ was spicy, tangy, and delicious and the service was very good (seated quickly and in-and-out fast). Prices were reasonable as well. Will be going back there often.

Very lovely interior. Service was sub-par; the waiter topped off our drinks once & did not offer after that, and less than two minutes after dropping off our checks he made sure to "let us know" we pay at the register up front & came back around a second time to tell us again. I want to note, 1/3 of our party was still eating when the checks were dropped off so it was not as if we were loitering around at the table. Beyond the slight rudeness of the waiter, the food was delicious & look nice as well. Would enjoy eating here again but hopefully with a different staff member serving us.

Delicious and unfathomably crispy fried chicken. Old Fashioned & Soy Garlic (SoGa) are my favorites here. The 'NC H&S' sauce is really tasty for a really spicy wing sauce but it is sticky! It'll stick to your gums and lips so be careful. The wings and drums here are pretty huge. The tenders are large cuts of chicken breast. It can take upwards of 20 minutes for them to prepare your meal, expect a longer wait with a larger group. It's worth the wait.

The chicken is fried Korean style. So good! Even when it has sauce all over the breading it still stays crunchy! We tried the garlic soy one and the most like Korean chicken sauce (I can't remember the name) and it was so good. The only negative thing is that they make you pay for everything, like rice. Typically Korean restaurants will give you free rice, but not this place, so that is a boo.

The food tasted as good as it looked and smelled! My brother had the fried chicken (which he said was fantastic) and I had a vegetarian dish. Awesome authentic Korean food. The fried chicken is absolutely amazing; however, people not fans of spice beware! I couldn't believe how flavorful and crispy the chicken was! I will say cuisine wise the place deserves a 5/5. The atmosphere however, needs some work. It's very clean and cozy, but there seems to be a T.V. that plays k-pop music videos which would be awesome if it didn't skip every other 30 seconds. There is no music in the place except the T.V. so perhaps better wifi for the Internet streaming of videos would provide a much needed flare to the place.

Staff was very courteous from the beginning. We received attention from a couple of staff immediately after being sat at our table. The atmosphere was pleasant with some Korean pop music and videos being shown on the big screen TV. The menu was all in English which was a surprise considering they are definitely a Korean restaraunt. We had to ask for a Korean speaking employee to explain the menu to my date but that was not a problem. Someone came out promptly and even stopped by again later twice to make sure we were happy with the meal. The food was very good quality, especially the Galbi. We also tried their signature fried chicken which was a nice change from the normal fried chicken you can find at most U.S. restaurants. Will definitely go back to try more dishes soon!

OMG the fried chicken! Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside...and the sauce! Sweet and spicy in just the right mix! You can choose different sauces or have it naked. If you want rice, make sure to order it on the side, as it does not come with the chicken automatically. Vegetarian meals available. Comfortable and soothing decor. Prices are great.

Where do I start. EPIC food. Great service, KPop on a loop? This place was great. Finally tried Bibimbap. We asked them to go lite on the spice with the spicy porl, and it was PERFECTION. Wings with Soga sauce were heavenly. Yes, the Bibimbap is $29.99, but it stuffs 2 people and could easily feed 4. Try this place, it's awesome.

Arguably the best wings in Raleigh, hands down. This place may not look like much on the outside, located in a strip mall, but inside is spacious, clean, super friendly staff, and K-pop on repeat. Food is always delicious. Both the bone-in and boneless wings are too notch. 4 or 5 wing sauce options (all Korean style). Wings are always hot and crispy. If you like chicken wings, I recommend you try here.

Great wings, appetizers, & bulgogi! You can mix flavors with larger wing orders! No multiple sides like other Korean restaurants but soup & a small salad is common with meals & the price of a side of kimchi is affordable, $1.25 (last I checked :) ). Better plate prices than other local Korean restraunts at $10.00 for a smaller plate which is plenty. I feel like everything has just the right amount of spice! I love their simple tempura vegetables, which are under $4.00.

Don't judge this book by the cover. On the outside this looks like an average Asian restaurant in a run down strip mall. Once inside, the restaurant is very clean, stylish, and welcoming. This is the best fried chicken I've eaten in my entire life. Get 5 tenders SOGA and 5 tenders Old Fashion with a bowl of rice and have your taste buds transformed. Also, they play K-POP the whole time and I kid you not, I heard in an interview that the K-POP artists also have no idea what's going on in those music videos. It's a fun time.
