The service was great. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I also enjoyed my food. I had the veal parmesan which was a lot of food and it came with salad AND soup. I also had jalapeno poppers. I do wish the vegetable soup had more vegetables or noodle it was moor broth than anything but it has a great taste..

Been going to Skyland 3 or 4 times a year for over 20 years; whenever I'm on that side of town. The food is great. The service is good. Getting a little pricey. Just paid $10 for country style and two vegetables, soup of the day and bread. Portions were adequate. $2 tip. A $12 meal. I feel that the price should have been $8 or $9 plus tip. No room to reduce portions. Again, great Southern food. 11/1/2018

Not sure why this place has such a good rating. The food was bland at best and inedible at worst. First, they got my order wrong. Second, the sausage patties might as well have been hockey pucks they were so charred. The pancakes had no flavor and the texture of the eggs was akin to plastic. What a waste of money.

My sisters and i was served an undercooked cheeseburger. When we tried to let the manager know she tried to insist we were drunk. Clearly we were not. She did remove the burger from the tab ,but not before insisting we were drunk a few more times. I did not like the service at all i feel like we were categorized as party goers and treated very short and rude by management no less.

Accused our party of not paying for a BLT when we clearly stated everyone had breakfast and just paid our bill less than 5 minutes prior. They sent the sheriff outside to our Uber to tell us someone needed to pay for the sandwich. Once inside both ladies were rude AF and kept saying the sandwich we didn’t order was unpaid. The waitress came out and explained to the employees up front she wasn’t even our waitress and that we weren’t the table with the BLT!!! No one gave us an apology. Not even the sheriff that chased us outside. Discrimination at its finest. I will never patronize this place again.

Skyland is a family favorite. They are open 24/7 with a very large menu selection. You can get breakfast any time of day or night. Portions are large and you can share or take some home. I really like the Chicken Parmesan which comes with a plate of Spaghetti. Staff is pleasant and helpful. I would recommend.

Stopped here at the recommendation of a good friend. It was perfect! Not too crowded or loud; friendly and attentive wait staff. Great seafood! I got the Seafood Combination Platter and took half home. Will definitely visit again soon.

Im pregnant and was looking for a great meal at 3 am.. But unfortunately not, im confused about the rating because when i walked in tge smell threw me off it smelled like old carpet and food.. I decided to still try it .. For me atmosphere is everything but the restaurant has a very busy decor and is extremely out dated hints the old wet carpet smell.. We were not greeted at the door and it took a long time to order because the menu was so huge and speaking of menus the menus were not clean. After ordering it took a while to get the food and most if it was overly salty .. The whole time im still cringing over the smell. The bathrooms were very dirty .. Every stall told a story i had to hold it.. The only thing i enjoyed was the sweet tea.. However the waitress was nice but she did not check on us enough. I would not go back they need a serious upgrade.

So me and the homies are starving and its waffle house or this place. I wanted to try something new so we went to skyland. Hand down the worst restaurant I've been to in my life. Never have I had a group of 7 all say the food sucks. We all got something different and so we all shared our food to see if it was as bad as we said it was. all the food was terrible. I wouldn't even let my dog eat the leftovers. Save your money and go to waffle house instead.

Screw Waffle House. Next time you’re out late at night looking for a bite to eat you HAVE to go to skyland. The cornbread, French toast, fried chicken, fried okra, banana pudding, ugh EVERYTHING was SO good. Service was also very pleasant and nice even though it was 2:00 am!

When asked we were then informed that they were out, without missing a step our waitress turned and left. Our waitress, with long brown hair, was very UNINTERESTED IN being helpful or friendly.

The food wasn't bad but as far as I'm concerned it's a bit subpar. I had the steak and cheese grinder. But that wasn't the real concern for me. There was construction being done in the restaurant and many customers were complaining. Neither was that the real concern for me. The worst part about the whole experience to me is that most of the staff were oblivious and the one waitress assigned me was completely overbearing. Popping around corners trying to surprise us and trying way too hard to be funny and friendly and also trying too hard to upsell. That as far as I'm concerned is not acceptable. You dont know who has PTSD or are scared easily or simply hate that type of stuff. Its inconsiderate.

Breakast here is a good price for a full country style breakfast but i'll have to pass on the lunch menu sometimes the food doesnt taste fresh so so you might want to stay away from the daily specials! Vegetables are a good choice for lunch and the corn bread is a must have!

It takes a while to get your food. The pancakes were not that good. Making pancakes at home with Aunt Jemima complete pancake mix is better than their pancakes. The hash browns were undercooked inside and burnt outside and very greasy. Our waitress forgot most of our order and brought items to us one at a time after we told her what was missing. Then she lost our ticket and had to make us a new one. Also someone told the table beside them not the get the tilapia.

Skyland has been around forever, the chicken parmesan with spaghetti and salad is not bad. It's not the olive garden, but it is a good place for a decent meal at a decent price. If your looking for a late night breakfast I recommend checking it out.

I've been there many many MANY times. Baby girl got cheesy grits and loaded meat omlete!. Not only is the food sooooo amazing and plentyful but the staff is always so down to earth and so polite. Great place. Need to go folks if you haven't.

ROACHES! DONT GO!!! We came in late on a Friday 10/04/19 looking for some good food and were sadly mistaken. The place looks dated and when we were seated there was a ROACH on the table. I got up and left. Absolutely Disgusting!!! Never again. The place needs an exterminator ASAP!

Waitress was nice and the portion was decently sized. But the reason for 2 stars is because of how utterly bland everything was. I got the Chicken Parginia, as did my friend. Soup was good, if small, and the salad was fresh and big. So when we received our pasta we dug on in, only for both of us to stop and scrunch our noses. Neither of us could place what particularly was missing; but we tried pepper, cheese, salt, and even some sugar. The sauce on both the pasta and chicken was so bland it actually blocked the taste of the rest of the food it was on. Unimpressed, wouldn't go again for the price.

Food was decent, large portions even for the kids meals. We went during lunch and my kids ordered lasagna, and it covered their whole plate! Also, the fish filet meal for kids came in two plates because the fish piece filled one plate! For 2 adults and 4 kids, we spent $60, and took home food for later. My only complaint is the food was bland. The fish had no seasoning and the vegetables and meats had no seasoning. But nice portions and very nice staff. When we are in the area, we will support this business again.

Want to give this place a higher review just because we got such a sweet waitress but I believe the food quality is not all that. The Mac & Cheese I first got was dry and after taking a few bites I decided to let the waitress know so she gave me a fresh batch of it, which was ok. I don’t think I’d eat here again.
