Food and service were excellent. We stayed quite a while listening to the band and our server was very attentive the entire time. She never made us feel rushed at all. I really enjoyed the grilled chicken and goat cheese sandwich with pepper jelly.

The food is great, the service was okay, but it is so loud in there. It's a great place to have a beer and watch a game but your going to have to yell across your table to talk to your friends. I want to give it five stars but I wouldn't go back because of the atmosphere. But hey this might be your thing.

The dry rub wings are the best!! Had awesome service the first time we visited, but when we came back again ..not so much. Not the attitudes those waitresses should have in the service industry. First, she got our appetizer order wrong and then entree orders wrong twice... and when we told her the order was wrong she goes “oh... I thought you wanted so and so”.. anyway.... don’t have too much to say about the service besides Diana (I believe her name is) gave us the best service overall; the cajun pasta is also really good. Ribs were underdone, steak was dry and mashed potatoes were extremely watery.... need more options for sides.

This was our first visit to Rody’s Tavern even though we live down the street and pass it frequently. I’m not a fan of the whole pub/sports bar atmosphere, but overall our visit was ok. We were seated quickly and our waitress took our orders just as quickly. All of the staff that we encountered were nice and courteous. The restaurant was clean. Although our food was better than similar chain restaurants it was not exceptional (my opinion). My daughter said her chicken tenders were not as crispy as they looked since on first glance they looked over cooked. I assumed the cooking oil needed a change. But she said they were good. My son enjoyed his salmon and sides. The portion size was good as well. I had the grilled chicken salad. The ranch dressing and red bell peppers made the salad. My chicken was under cooked and had to be sent back for little more grill time. Medium steak or salmon is ok, but not chicken. I don’t know if the ranch dressing and honey mustard sauce were made in-house or not but they were really creamy and delicious. We’ll give Rody’s another chance soon and let you know how it goes.

At the end of our meals, we did not offer our table choices of desert. Instead, assumed we just wanted the check. Even after, one us ask for desert menu and one if us order desert, she did not the rest of our table to order desert. I must say this was unusual for wait staff. Then. She brought the check out with the desert and was quick to say bye. Overall,The food was great!

I absolutely LOVE Rody’s.!!!!! I’ve tried over 3/4 of the menu and it has all been perfect.! They are deals every day on different foods. Ohh and there margaritas are AMAZING and they’re not made light ether.!! They have had every single drink I’ve asked for even if it’s not on the menu. The servers and bartenders are incredibly nice every time I go (like 3 times a week) and I’ve honestly never had anything served incorrect.!

if you’re a Dallas or Panthers fan go here for football. Any other team you’re kind of screwed. Twice my fiancée asked if we could watch the Broncos game on two different Sundays. The manager, Kevin, gave us a really hard time about getting it on ONE TV! The other 800 TVs in the place has he Panthers game on and we seriously just asked if we could have one TV on and we’re told that the most popular games get the showings. We get that! But seriously ONE? Come on. The second time this happened Kevin reluctantly agreed to put one on for us. And the one he chose was facing the exact opposite way from where we were seated. Unbelievable. Anyway, just know you may not actually get to watch your team at this “sports bar”.

Owner is incompetent , food was not safe for consumption. Raw burger, no one would do anything, owner dodged the question, refused a refund. Had 5 meals for take out...wings were dry and overly breaded. Burger was raw, not rare, raw! A simple refund would have prevented me from going to google reviews, absolutely mind boogling this place is in business.

Horrible experience on saturday before St Pattys day. Owner was a jerk. People grabbing tables instead of waiting on list. We had a large table and everyone got their food except one. You would think since they had this last year, they would have their act together. Definitely need new wait staff, manager and owner should sell his business to someone who knows how to run a business .

Don't order nachos and expect the manager to give you extra Jalapeno cheese sauce if your nachos are dry. I was trying to explain to him that the nachos didn't have any enough cheese on it. He wanted to charge me for extra cheese sauce so I sent the order back. Without any hesitation or apology, the manager grabbed the nachos off table. He should take that level of customer service to a lower tier restaurant. He could learn a lot from thr waitress, Sidney who showed more customer service experience.

Amazing food at a great price. Three great recommendations are their fish & chips, caesar salad & pork chops. Very sweet respectful & attentive hostesses/waitresses. Hannah is my favorite waitress here and she is such a sweetheart. Very clean dining room and bathrooms. If alcohol is your thing they have a very clean spacious bar with lots of beers on tap. Lots and lots of TVs in here and at least one TV is visible from any seat in the restaurant with a huge variety of sports playing on them. This is a great place for lunch or dinner for anybody. I absolutely recommend this place to anybody. Definitely an asset for Greensboro.

Food is usually great. I ordered Togo. Got there and payed, the lady did not say anything to me. So I stood to the side for 15 minutes. I justed assumed they were behind because they were busy. They started bringing out more Togo food and asked who had Togo food waiting and I raised my hand. It wasn't mine. They pulled mine behind the counter after hearing my name and it had been sitting there the entire time I was waiting. When I questioned about why I was not given my food when I paid, the girl just shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know. No apology or recognition of the mistake. They just started talking together again. Some of the worst customer service I've ever had.

Love the stated brand image of a scratch kitchen. Wings were a little underdone on this occasion. Easily corrected. Main concern is lack of diversity in the FOH staff. All female, and the bartenders had long hair that they kept touching, throwing back, etc. Not cool when you handle food and bev.

I have had two extremely bad experiences at this establishment. The most recent one happened a couple days ago when my wife and I along with three friends went out for some drinks and decided to order 20 Dry Rub wings. When the wings arrived they looked extremely burnt, but each of us decided to try them. Well, we tried them and collectively decided that they were too burnt and barely edible. When we told the bartender that the wings were burnt, her response was “It‘s the Dry Rub”, as if Dry Rub wings should be burnt. Even after showing her extremely charred pieces she still repeated “It’s the Dry Rub”. At this point you would think she would graciously apologize, but instead she angrily took the wings to the kitchen and summoned the manager. The manager then told us that he was unable to remove the wings from our check because only 10 wings were untouched. I then had to mention that we are a party of five, so if we each grabbed a few to try, then obviously it’s plausible that only ten would remain untouched. Furthermore, I had to point out that there were partially eaten wings on our saucers. He eventually removed it from our check, but why in the world did we have to plead our case? I suppose the customer is no longer always right. To add insult to injury, the bartender walked by us and mumbled something, and then took her sweet time to bring us our check. After all this I probably shouldn’t have left a tip, but I decided to be the bigger person. In the future I will spend my money elsewhere. I wish I could have left a zero star rating, which is still more than they deserve.

Our first time ever visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. From the decor and atmosphere all the way to the wait staff and food. My wife ordered the Fish Tacos and I ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy. We switched off one half of the sandwich for a taco. Both were very good and the portions are huge. We're fasting this month so we had to stick with seafood but we will definitely return to try more selections from the menu soon.

We have eaten here since their Grand Opening and have always been please with the food and service. This past visit though, they were extremely outstanding. We are a dental office and always pressed for time when we come in. Upon arriving we found the wait time was 15 minutes that day, to make things easier for us they went ahead and took our orders while waiting to be seated. We were seated rather quickly and the staff got us in and out. The food was amazing as always. Our dental office Brassfield Cosmetic and Family Dental Center loves Rody's Tavern and is so thankful for the care and service they provide each visit!

I was in a fairly large group when I visited. First they "lost" our reservations and we were not seated in our own area as promised when we set things up. After waiting over 30 min for them to shove tables together for us we were seated. I ordered coffee to drink and there spicy cheese fries as an appetizer. My coffee arrived in a tiny cup and was cold things did not improve. The spicy cheese fries weren't that spicy but thankfully we had them because it was another 30 min before they took our dinner order. O had the fish and chips. After having stuffed myself on the cheese fries I could not finish my meal, I was okay with that as it was bland and not very satisfying. The only thing good about this place was the company I had with me. I don't reccomend it.

The food was good. We have eaten there twice and not disappointed in the food. Hand cut fries, battered fish and shrimp ... A little salty but still very tasty. Reputable beer selection on tap, but limited in mixed drinks. It's very crowded and very loud. Even if there were not a big crowd, still would be loud (music AND tv). Props for decent service, even with a large volume of customers. If you like a lively environment, then this is the place for you. Not sensory friendly. We will go again and I'll bring my ear plugs.

First time at Rody's. My wife and I went with another couple and we all were impressed. We had wings, fish and chips and ribs. Everything was delicious and fresh . The wings were the biggest I have ever seen. The restaurant was very busy but there were plenty of staff on hand to give everyone the attention needed. Our waitress, Allie, was awesome. She was very attentive without hovering and brought fresh drink refills without being asked. Something that really impressed me was there was a staff member in the restroom wiping the floor with paper towels where I believe someone either spilled something or tracked something in. Later while talking to our waitress I discovered the staff member in the restroom was actually the owner, Steve. If he is paying that much attention to the restrooms and is not above doing the menial tasks, then I can only imagine what kind of attention he is giving to the rest of the restaurant. And it shows in the staff and food.

Went for $6 burger night with a coworker. I asked for my burger cooked well done. When we received our burgers mine was not cooked all the way through and looked like freshly ground meat in the middle of the patty. By the time I recieved the burger the second time, my friend had already finished her food. We were there over an hour and half, no manager ever stepped over to the table to touch base or anything. They did not give a comp or percent off or anything to make up for serving a raw burger. The burger the second time around was cooked through and was good once I got home and was able to enjoy it.

The absolute worst dining experience I have ever had. After being sat by the hostess, we waited 10 minutes to be greeted by our server until I asked the hostess to “check up on our waitress”. We ordered wings and loaded cheese fries. I asked the waitress to add all the toppings that come on the nachos onto the cheese fries. Our wings eventually came out 20 minutes later with no fries. Our waitress informed us that there was some confusion in the kitchen as to what was put in and she would check on it for us. After finishing all 10 of our wings she then informs us that “a manager said that they will not be capable of making the loaded cheesy fries”, for what reason, I’m not sure. We ended up getting a basket of onion rings which we then waited another 20 minutes for. We then left and realized that we left our card on the table. At 1:50, 10 minutes before they close, the doors were locked. We proceeded to knock on the doors, and while SEVERAL servers looked at the door, not one person thought to unlock it for us. We then walked to the side door, knocking way harder and the manager stood up with with a horrible expression on his face. I have been a regular customer for over 2 years now, and I promise you I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone again.

Love the staff and the owners its a local place. Food is great! Highly recommend the Ribs! My favorite place and my 13 year old daughter loves it here as well!
