I can't speak to the service since I waited in the car with my son, but the food was delicious and we ate every last bit of it. Decent value and in my opinion the grilled chicken here is tastier than Viva Chicken, but we get a mix because the fried chicken is the best around. Probably an unpopular opinion for Prices fans.

Love the food and staff here! Always a pleasure. Pro tip...get a 4 piece and mix the grilled with golden friend chicken. Ask for one of their sauces to try them all and make sure to savor extra Camper sauce. My favorite? Creamy cilantro is my favorite. Don't sleep on Pollo Campero!

I told my wife I would never go eat at this place. It looked so flashy and chain restaurant type of place. There was a Groupon for it available so I thought I would give it a chance and I was so impressed with the grilled chicken. The Fried Chicken was average but the grilled chicken was fantastic. We will definitely be going back.

This place is awesome. The prices are not bad. The food is so good!! The fries taste perfect. The chicken is the kind of spicy that doesn't burn your mouth but it warms your throat, and brings a smile to your face. My only wish is that they maybe add one more 'generic' side. Like mac and cheese or plain white rice. Outside of that, this place is awesome! Great food, great service. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family, and anyone reading this.

They mail you coupons but once you get there they charge you regular price. I had a $4.00 2piece meal, and they charge me $4.59 plus tax. I requested a refund and they just lost a customer, manager on duty didnt make the exception in honoring the coupon. Don,'t waste your time going there. That's why they're losing customer for false advertising.

I know I'm often a 5-er, but this place deserves it. It's new and on our East end of Charlotte. The family dinner was scrumptious and very well priced. Eight of us feasted on it and saved a bundle. The chicken is free of all additives, moist and seasoned in wonderful Guatemalan fashion. The beans were delectable (I love seasoned beans). For our group, the sides weren't quite enough, so you might need more for a family of 8+. Enjoy!

I give this place a 5 star rating because most always I get moist grilled chicken. I only wish to get a bigger totilla side because I always get 4 pieces of chicken ot should be 4 torillas instead of 2. I just pay extra for that and cilantro sauce just to pull the chicken off the bone and make soft tacos with cilantro sauce. mmmm. I frequent this place often like 5 to 6 times a month.

Food was great.me and my boyfriend tried it for the first time using groupon.using it was easy.we both got half grilles half fried both was moist..Make sure u get all the dipping sauces for the chicken.the campo beans where seasoned well and rice was cooked correctly not mushy...

Today I go in the restaurant and place a order of 4pc grilled chicken and double corn salad. I waited over 30 min to receive my food ! Order was placed at 3:44 pm and had a manager come to my table at 3:54 pm that my chicken was going to take another 10 min to cook so I waited more then 10 min until the chicken finally came to me at 4:21 pm ! The manager brought me my food and took my ticket for a refund but I never heard back from him since he only looked at me but never brought me a receipt or anything to say he charged refund credit money back to my credit card. I have video evidence with the receipt with time on it and the time 4:20pm when my food was finally served ! I don’t want to be those people that leave 1 star on Facebook and google but I will with the video evidence unless I receive my full refund.

I Normally visit South Blvd as I work uptown but was told they were discontinuing empanadas....very strange to lie about a menu item. Moving forward, this location was great! Only one complaint it took entirely too long to make 2 empanadas. Nevertheless, the buffalo chicken and chipotle empanadas were AMAZING! Thank you Sharon Amity!

First of all just because someone doesn’t LOOK like they know Spanish doesn’t mean they don’t know Spanish like cmon guys. Second the food is amazing. Third customer service could really use some extra training like chick fil a. Everyone could take a page outta their book. Real stand up guys. 1-24-19 update: went again today hoping for improvement never heard back from the person that left that comment. Same stuff happened but worse. Honestly probably will never go back racial profiling is NOT cool.

The food is good but not great. I have tried Pollo Campero in Guatemala like a couple of years ago and find it more rich in flavor, but just my opinion. Definitely try the empanadas.

I just seen something unacceptable. So the worker was serving the food and a french fry fell on the floor and she picked up the fry and put it back on the plate and served it to the customer. Like really? Thats not right. 0 stars!!!!

Great food, great service and great prices! I am extremely picky with my chicken and I have to say that I was very impressed with the variety of delicious chicken at this restaurant. The Fried Chicken was good but the grilled chicken was absolutely superb. The seasoning wasn't too much it was just right, it was juicy and with the hint of lemon it was literally like I was back at the Caribbean. The french fries were nice and crispy, the family loved the dinner rolls and the flavored rice was extremely well seasoned (again, not too much but just right). I will absolutely we going back again!

They have delicious chicken, fried and grilled. I really enjoy their plantains and side. It's kind of tricky getting there, among the Milton road triangle, but I feel safe with the police located in same lot. They sometimes do no have enough employees that speak English, but they are very friendly and polite

Great prices for the amount of food that you get. However I love my food being high in flavor, and sadly this place didn't deliver that. The staff was overall very friendly though. I'm glad I used the groupon option here bc I got to try several different things, none of which was impressive. Highly doubt i'll return. However, if you're on a budget and want a lot of good things is the place to go.

We came all the way from Raleigh to try it out since my sister in law who is from El Salvador said that Pollo Campero has the best fried chicken anywhere. Anyway, when we arrived we had a little trouble finding a parking spot, the lot was basically full. Luckily we found one. Once inside the place was packed, every table was taken. So we decided to order to go, once we had ordered. Several tables had opened up, so we asked the manager if he could instead make our order for dine in. He was very understanding and he set several tables for our group of 6 and had us sit down while the table runners brought us our food. We didn't wait long despite the long lines and high demand. We enjoyed our food, which was very delicious. I would visit once again, but hopefully very soon they decide to open one up in Raleigh, that way we don't have to drive so far. Overall our experience was great.

Customer service is very horrible at this place. This girl (Janet) who was taking my order has an attitude. It's not my fault I can't understand what she is saying with such a strong accent. Try annunciate words clearly. Also, nobody is calling for orders that are ready to be pickup until me and the other customer called someone's attention. Everyone including the manager was completely oblivious. I felt like I'm ordering food from a ghetto area. Never again... I'm better off going to KFC.

Just ordered my food and was told it would be a 25 .minute wait (in an almost empty restaurant) as soon as I was handed my receipt because they just had a large order ahead of us. Unacceptable! Maybe I would've been more understand had I been told before I ordered so I could have an option to stay or go. I don't wait half an hour for any chicken anywhere. Unbelievable!

Our first and last time ever! Fried chicken tasted like old cooking oil. The Yuca fries were chewy and cold, " should be served hot and crispy" We threw our dinner away and settled for frozen pizza. I can still taste that nasty cooking oil as I'm writing this a week after going.

The food is great here but standing in line waiting for my food I couldn't help but notice the workers wearing the same gloves while cleaning, handling and changing the trash, then handing the food trays to customers, not very sanitary. I originally gave three stars but I came back and changed to five. I revisited this location a week ago and noticed the workers were changing their gloves after each task, was very impressed, thank you!
