My whole 41 years living in Charlotte and this was my first time going to Pinky's. The atmosphere with people from all walks of life is great..staff and customers both! The food here was absolutely amazing along with amazing prices. So many things to choose from the menu it took my daughter and I forever to decide,even on the way looking at the menu online. The service was above and beyond amazing and it was great how everyone pitches in to check on you. Loved everything so much and will definitely return regularly!

I've eaten here many times. What a jewel. Great burgers in a great eclectic atmosphere. My favorite is the White Trash burger with house chips. Fried pickles are a must as well. Parking can be a challenge but its worth a short walk to get to and from here.

I took two clients for lunch Thursday, at their request and we all loved our food! Started with the fried pickles...delicious! I had the pork tenderloin sandwich with pineapple, Swiss cheese, greens and Jamaican mayo...YUM! Great service from fun servers!! I’d definitely recommend going for a fun time and super tasty food at this eclectic restaurant!!!

This is a fun little place in Charlotte. The atmosphere is fun and a little loud, but pleasant. The food is very well priced.We sat on the outside patio. I ordered a corn dog and my SO had the Reuben Hot Dog with the chips. My corn dog was dynamite, and he loved his hot dog. The chips were good too. We had a few beers each as we were waiting to check in to our Airbnb.

Food is always enjoyable. However, I wasn't too please with the customer service today. We sat outside with our children. It seemed somewhat busy but we didnt get attended for beverages for about 7 minutes. Each time waitress was different. None were really attentive to us. Hostess was the only pleasant and friendly one. Food is always a hit 5 star... but customer service negative.

Just stopped here on our way to CLT. Food was really good. Tacos, burgers, pulled pork and sodes were all perfectly cooked, fully of flavor and came out really quick! Staff was AWESOME!! Great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back next time I'm in town.

Had been wanting to visit this place for a long time. Word of mouth had been excellent! I was not even hungry but had to finally stop in after years of driving by. Glad I did. Great menu and food. Parking is limited in busy intersection.

It's okay and nothing more past the odd chic vibe it has to offer. It was pretty bland [triple g & the crab cake hush puppies]. Go there once to say you have and leave it alone.

The only thing better than the vibe in this place is the food. Corndog Shrimp were delicious! The one bite that my wife shared of her pterodactyl burger was also tasty. They must pool their tips because you are taken care of by literally everyone. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

It's a funky little spot...service was good but the food was just so..so. I had a turkey burger. The actual burger was good...moist and juicy but the bun was incredibly soggy. My guy had the crab chowder. It wasn't thick like we think a chowder should be. His salad was decent...the crab ball appetizer thingy was lacking crab...the dip made them much better. We probably won't go again the next time we're in Charlotte.

Been here twice. Once good, the other time....not so good. The time I got the White Trash Burger? Burger felt "runny" and the texture of the sauce reminded me of coleslaw mixed with sauerkraut. I felt sick after I fought through half of it. In fairness, it was a year or two ago. The second time I got the Asian Pork Burger and really enjoyed it. If I have another good meal there I will call it a best 2 out of 3. 5/10 might pink this one again

I called and inquired about vegan options here and was so excited to come and try.. but when I spoke with Meredith on the phone she was very rude when answering my questions and laughed at me when I asked if you guys served vegan ranch with the fried pickles. She just rudely said no and laughed then hung up the phone.... I don't know why dairy allergies are taken as a joke..

We had seen this place on Triple D and new we were going to be in Charlotte. Figured we would check it out and see what all the hype was about. The place is an old converted Volkswagen garage called triple G. It's the name of one of the the items on the menu. Its not very big but there is some indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking but, it is in a gravel lot just a block over from the restaurant. You can definitely drop off people, park and then walk in. Food was really good, combination of fried items and burgers. We enjoyed the corn dog shrimp, humus plate and the burgers. They serve up some local beer as well as the usual domestics. Staff was great and the food was cooked fast. I would recommend getting here early, it went from slow to a 30 minute wait real fast. We were there around 11:30 on Saturday and by 12:00, it was packed. I would also stay away from large groups. We were about 6 people and it was fine but we did wait for two tables to open. Always fun checking out places you have seen on TV. The kids will like the eclectic mix of posters, signs and memorabilia.

This is my first time eating here. We grabbed lunch for the coworkers. The burger was really good, perfectly cooked. BUT THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONING ON THE MEAT! THEY FORGOT MY BACON ALSO WHICH IS AN EXTRA CHARGE OF $1.50! The hush puppies are so good. It’s supposed to come with sauce, NO SAUCE WAS GIVEN. Waffle fries were good. The sweet potato fries were soggy, not crunchy - is what my coworker said. I would probably try them again but something else. I was very disappointed about my burger especially because it was $10 alone.

I really enjoyed this experience. Nice clean bathroom with a surprisingly fresh scent. Even as busy as it was the bathroom was in perfect condition. I didn't bomb the harbor here but it definitely looked like it was friendly and ready to receive. I was surprised by the conditions with the activity but Pinky's earned the rating today!

I really loved the time we had here today great food amazing music and our server was amazing. I ordered the white trash burger it was loaded with all the toppings one could want. Fried pickles was very tasty and the string fries and waffle fries was perfect fit for our dinner.

I heard about this place a while back and set out to find it. After finding a parking spot we set in. The look is unique and the place seemed bustling. The menu has lots of tasty lunch items and our server was friendly and quick. We left satisfied and will return if back in the area.

Excellent food, great service and a cool atmosphere! The only thing I would change is the music... it was excellent but some songs were explicit versions, and there were kids there (about 8pm on a weeknight), so maybe play clean versions until later in the evening or weekend nights. I'll be back soon!!

So delicious! Kitchen was fast but not sloppy, food was hot and delicious with amazing service! I got the Jive Turkey burger, whitetrazh style and substituted cheddar for the provolone, I added waffle fries. So yummy! Burger was cooked perfectly and not dry. I had been to the Huntersville, this was my first trip to the Morehead Street location.I was fortunate to score a parking space up front. It was late so I'm not certain where additional parking is located. Definitely going back!

Pinky's is a laid back restaurant that can get pretty busy at lunchtime. It sits on a corner in what looks like an old gas station. You will need to park down the street though. The food is really good and the sides are an add on. I had the Green Chile Pork Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries and it was excellent. I would recommend.

This was my second time at Pinky’s. Once before I saw them on DD&D and now tonight. I love this place and wish I had something like it near me. It’s a fun place to go, the food is great as are the prices. Tonight I had the White Trash Burger with Everything. In a word, delicious. Great flavor and texture. I wouldn’t change a thing on it. I also had their house salad which I couldn’t finish. The servings here are very good as well. I look forward to going to Pinky’s again next week.

Had to hit this place up because it was on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and their selections are usually pretty spectacular (depending of course on whether you like the particular type of food at a given spot). I had the White Trash Burger which has provolone cheese, fried pickles, onion rings and spicy ranch. It was pretty darn good. The thing that made the meal fantastic though was the black eyed pea salad. Probably the best bean (or pea) salad I have ever had. Excellent!

This restaurant is located in one of the areas I have hardly visited in Charlotte. It was really creepy driving there but got normal after looking at the bright neon lights and the crazy VW ladybird parked on top of the neon sign. Don't be let down by the limited parking infront of the store. Those are just for the pickup customers. There is a huge parking behind the restaurant and you would find no problem finding a parking spot. And hey it's free parking!

I guess the later you go, the worst your service will be, including being rushed to order. Our visit was lackluster to say we had just hotdogs and tacos. Our waiter even seemed to have came from come from SnagAJob just an hour ago. I could not believe the experience. His fingers were inside of our to go cups. Our food was dangling off the side of our plate. On my shrimp tacos, one taco had 4 shrimps, the other had just 2. Yes, I counted. I should have went hone and have cereal. So disappointed.

I ordered the black bean burger and fried pickled cucumbers. The Bean burger was good flavor but didn't stick together. Very crumbley and hard to eat as a burger, most consumed with a fork. The fried pickled cucumbers were by far not the best I've ever had. They weren't disgusting but they were undercooked, not crispy, just floppy. I almost feel as if Pinky's is too popular and too busy for their own good, lacking in quality of food. I think it's the reason they were featured on some food show, atmosphere and reasonable prices that keeps bringing people back. I would give it another try. Got some free stickers.

Always love Pinky’s. Whenever we are in Charlotte we try and stop by. Corn dogs are the best. Always love the fried pickles and pimento cheese waffle fries. I ordered the Asian Pork burger because I know it’s suppose to be awesome. It was HORRIBLE. They had put way to much fish sauce in this batch. I took one bite and my hand reeked of fish sauce for half the day. Luckily the waitress changed that out for me ASAP. The staff was so awesome and the White Trash burger I had to replace it was so great!

The first thing that impressed me was the ecclectic decor and inviting enviornment. From the moment you walk in and get a glance at the triceratops statue and the menu, you know you're in for something special. Everything I ordered was delicious and exploding with flavor. They make their pimento cheese in house and the hot pimento cheese waffle fries were a standout. The burgers are all cooked to perfection and can be topped in a variety of ways, all of which sound fun and tasty. I got mine ding dong style which meant topped with crunchy peanut butter, honey cilantro slaw and spicy Sriacha. Highly recommended! The whole menu looks great and I can't wait to come back to try the corn dog. Come to Pinky's, it lives up to the hype and you'll leave feeling satisified.

Great local spot, the original location is on Freedom Drive. Other locations are now throughout Mecklenburg County. Usually has great drafts on tap with various specials. The menu is uncanny, with many great creations. They have several meatless options. If you are a meat eater definitely opt for the crab puppies!

Burgers were okay. Service left something to be desired. Asked if they offer a military discount, was sneered at by the bartender who said only if you are in uniform. We then clarified by asking so no discount for the Marines then? Since Marines cannot wear their uniforms in public. She totally ignored the question and stormed off. I went here for my birthday, and really enjoyed it. I have to say I remember the atmosphere more than the food. It's great for a group setting. It's lively and fun, the staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable. The food however, is also amazing. I have celiac and was very happy to find out they have a variety of gluten free options. They give you very large portions, and filling portions. I was happy that I had leftovers (they make good leftovers too!). The only real complaint I had is that while it was very fun, I still felt a little cramped, and the seating was a little uncomfortable. All in all, I definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to eat, and ideally socialize a bit with someone else.

Hands down one of the best places in Charlotte. Nothing you pick will be wrong. Ding ding style is what my wife swears by. Take out of towners here, or start your night out here with a delicious dinner. Highly highly recommend.

3 strikes and you’re out. First, I ordered a beer from the draft list which states they’re served in pints. My beer arrived in a snifter glass and when I said something to the waiter he said that’s just the way it’s served. I showed him it’s listed under the menu section for pints and then he had the nerve to say if you pour it in a pint glass then they’re roughly equal amounts. Face palm. Not even close, but I let it go. Next, the crab meat hush puppies have so little meat in them that the taste is indistinguishable from the same regular hush puppies given out for free at bbq joints. Waste. Lastly, the asian pork burger had almost no flavor to it. This was a very disappointing experience all around.

As a bodybuilder that only gets one cheat meal a week, I was in search of the best burgers around. I live about 45 minutes from Charlotte and the burger I had was DEFINITELY worth the drive. Funky is the main word that comes to mind when coming to Pinky's. Another, less connotative word could be "eclectic", but I think there is a real vibe here; the food selection is just as off the wall as the decor. I've always had a great meal, served quickly and with a great staff. When my mom visited Charlotte for the first time, this is where I brought her.

I have to recommend the kickin chicken taco...OMG, they are the best thing at Pinkys...trust me on this..they are unlike regular chicken tacos and that's a good thing...they have a garlic parsley sauce that similar to a chimichurri....I love the strong taste of lime and fresh parsley...I get them at least once a week

Delicious! I had the Turkey burger w/lettuce, tomato, onions on whole grain bun. It was great, along with waffle fries....umm umm good! You will not be disappointed! Worth the wait. Try not to go around weekday lunch time. Around 1:00 it begins to empty. However not too long a wait if you do.

Where do I start, Drinks were the worst I've ever had. Vodka and Cranberry or should I say EXTRA Cranberry and Vodka. Lemon Drop Martini was like Lemon Water. My Crab Puppies were cooked too long. Flounder had no taste but HONESTLY the waffle fries were good. Waitress was great that's why they get 2 stars.

I was looking for somewhere new to try in Charlotte and stumbled upon this place. First thing is the parking. I had to park across the street. The hostess was very nice and I grabbed a spot at the bar. Bartender was great! I ordered the burger of the month and a side of waffle fries. The burger was one of the best I've ever had. Looking forward to visiting again.

As I found myself driving past this place called Pinky’s Westside Grill in Charlotte, North Carolina, I knew I would regret life if I did not attempt to stop in and eat there. After seeing it on the side of the road, it did not take much research to discover they have some serious street cred and rock-solid reviews. The Guy Fieri poster hanging inside solidified my intuition that this place was worth checking out. If it is good enough for a TV show, who am I to argue that? Anyhow, I asked the bartender what their best selling burger was and ordered that, which was the White Trash Burger. A juicy, five-ounce patty with provolone, fried pickles & onion rings, and spicy ranch sauce, you know, all the essential food groups. Since they serve their burgers without a side, I opted for a full ginger tuna salad, since I'm a growing boy and need my veggies. And there were a lot of veggies! It was an enormous salad. The person who cleared my empty containers even congratulated me on finishing everything. I took it as a compliment, but maybe I should have asked for a t-shirt. Check them out! Mighty tasty and well worth the trip.

Funky little joint, definitely a fun atmosphere and they keep the music on loud. The food was great I tried the burger of the month which at the time was a burger topped with pulled pork fried pepper jack cheese black bean paste, a salsa mayo, and finished with pickled red onion which helped set the burger a part. They're friend pickles were probably the best I have had nice light batter and very crispy with a nice salty bite. Will definitely be returning soon.

Always a winner at Pinky's from the amazing burger to the delicious drink menu. I highly recommend the pimento waffle fries as an appetizer. The Burgers are everything! Really busy most of the time, they have outdoor seating and indoor seating.

I went here for my birthday, and really enjoyed it. I have to say I remember the atmosphere more than the food. It's great for a group setting. It's lively and fun, the staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable. The food however, is also amazing. I have celiac and was very happy to find out they have a variety of gluten free options. They give you very large portions, and filling portions. I was happy that I had leftovers (they make good leftovers too!). The only real complaint I had is that while it was very fun, I still felt a little cramped, and the seating was a little uncomfortable. All in all, I definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to eat, and ideally socialize a bit with someone else.

Super dirty and the food isn't even good. The staff is very rude. Not sure why its so hyped! I wouldn't go there again and I do not recommend it to anyone. Please do yourself a favor and spend your precious time and money somewhere else. This place is not worth it at all.

The customer service was so bad, I would have left had I not been with a party of 12. I arrived with a nearly finished cup of coffee that my server told me I could not have at my seat. So, I finished the two sips left and sat with my table. Then, since only 9 of 12 guests had arrived, I was told that I couldn’t sit at the 3rd 4 top table until the other 3 guests arrived. Seriously, it was 11:30 in the afternoon and the restaurant was half empty. The other 3 guests were literally walking in the door, but our server apparently isn’t allowed to think about what makes sense in these situations … just enforce. The food was decent. This visit was spoiled by a terrible greeting experience. There are so many other options for a decent burger that I can’t imagine going back in the near future.

The food was quite good. I ordered a type of chicken taco. Meat was not dry and seasoning was good all aeound. Fried pickles were great. The staff was kind and attentive for the most part. I only give 5 Stars if something was exceptional or way above average. While nothing I received was exceptional or way above average it's still a great place to visit. Definite recommend.

Burger was pretty good. Mainly because it was fresh hand made patties. However I don’t think they use any seasoning at all on their burgers. Seemed pretty bland for what I was expecting. Had the westside style too...! Overall solid restaurant just didn’t match the hype unfortunately.

This is one of the best cocktail shop in town. Their price is cheap and good quality is what brings them loyal customers. Special mention is that they have Vegan burger which tastes way better than regular ones! Now don't get me wrong, the regular ones are good as well. Crab puppies are popular but I don't seem to enjoy very much. Their hurricane cocktails are the best!

Love Pinky’s! It’s so unique. The atmosphere is super fun with music and an eclectic vibe inside. The food is delicious!! I usually get the chicken poppers with buffalo sauce which is wonderful! The service is efficient and the staff are always friendly and nice. This last time I tried a piece of their homemade chocolate peanut butter cake and wow it was amazing!!! The food is very reasonably priced too! You won’t regret grabbing a meal here!

This place is the bomb! I have been craving a delicious cheeseburger for months and no place I've gone to has been able to satisfy the craving....until now! I love their choices and the environment is fun and exciting. Their cocktails are delicious. The fried pickles weren't my favorite, but the sweet potato fries made up for it! This place is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Had crab puppies was my favorite basically hushpuppy size crab cakes. The portion size to price ratio is unbelievably great!! Our entire meal and service was remarkable! The banana pudding hands down BEST banana pudding I've EVER had at a restaurant again giant portion size!!

Holy moly this place is bad a**, am I allowed to say that because it's true. This is a gem of a restaurant, the food was delicious, and when I say delicious... I am mean it's off the hook! The service was great, everybody is was warm and friendly, the atmosphere was awesome; but truly can we go back to the food. I had pimento cheese fries and the almost fried turkey sandwich and neither disappointed. I am drooling even now thinking about it, it's really a unique place in the Charlotte food scene.

I like my burgers rare and saw online they have a party melt and was excited to try it. Got to the restaurant and the menu indicates they'll only do well done? In NC now all you have to do is put a disclaimer on your menu and cook per the customer preference. Heck I'm shocked since pretty much everywhere I've been that offers burgers now gives temp options. Had a turkey sandwich and while it was good, it wasn't the burger I went there to get.

I went a few years ago and it was amazing. Went back this week and it left a lot to be desired. The fried pickles were soggy, the turkey was dry, and the shrimp dogs were all breading. Best thing we had was the sweet potato fries. That said, the service was fast and friendly.

It was my first time at Pinky's. The parking lot is behind the building and was easy to get into with the big truck we were in. We got there around 1pm so the wait was not long. I loved all the stuff on the walls! The menu offered a tremendous amount of choice. Lots of vegan options too. I, however, went with the White Trash burger. Fried pickles, onion rings, spicy ranch and provolone. It was a good first burger. The servers kept the drinks filled which is a big thing for me. I will be back and I will bring more first timers with me!

My first time eating here and I was completely disappointed. I will not go back and wouldn't recommend it to a friend or family member. The burgers were super bland. I was served the appetizers with the food, all at the same time, are you kiddin me???. It's like they really want us to get out of there as quickly as possible, and we did. There is nothing that I hate more than bad service. We were looking for a good burger joint and this was definitely not the one. The burgers were dried, flavorless, and overcooked - we were never asked how did we want it cooked. I think they forgot that chili is served hot, ours was cold - not even warm, plain cold! My drinks were juiced down, I paid for plain juicy juice with mint instead of a mojito. I don't find this place to be kids friendly at all, not even a basic menu for kids. Food, service, atmosphere a total miss here. Never again.
