I visited this restaurant, because of a referral. It's a tight squeeze, fast paced, burger spot. The burger (ket, must, shredded let, tomato) was pretty good. I didn't care for the fries (very thin sliced fried potatoes). Overall, a good meal. I would visit again, if I'm on that side of town...

I liked everything about this place except my food. I loved the menu, the atmosphere was cozy, the young lady at the register was so polite, and the service was fast. However, my sandwich bun was so soggy, I don't even remember if it taste good or not. Hopefully it was a fluke. I might try again later to see.

Not a ton of choice, but I guess if you are going to do something do it well. Great burgers with a ton if topping options. Delicious. Fries are great. Onion rings are great. It is reasonably priced. Small spot without a ton of seating but good for to go if you can't. Counter ordering but friendly service and they get meals out pretty quickly especially considering it is all made to order.

Filling portions and generous toppings! Never failed me when I needed to be picky about dairy, and were always considerate when I was! The place could do with more seating, but really, that's not a big deal. I love that they started and continue with their food truck, too!

used to like coming here but past few times have had bad service - won’t be coming back. Had a problem with how our burgers were cooked this past time and they made the situation really uncomfortable and weird when it should’ve just been a refund or an offer to make new burgers. We just had to throw out our burgers and leave without a refund - wasn’t worth standing there having such an odd and pretty rude moment with them.

Grass fed, pasture raised, no hormones, no steroids, antibiotics, or additives or fillers for me from processing the meat!!! It's the 21st Century and it's time for a change!!!

I loved this place. We were in from out-of-town for a Duke basketball game and stopped here after for dinner. The Texan burger was delicious, the fries were great, and my wife got the sampler, which was very good, too. I'd definitely eat here again!

The burger was amazing – just a single with everything, hold the onions. The fries were excellent. Only problem: They didn't hold the onions! thankfully the memory of onions on the burger isn't a problem for me, but some people really can't have them so they should pay a little better attention to the order. But the burger and fries really were outstanding in the end.

This place might be my favorite burger in the Triangle. I especially like the Carolina-style and Fried Green Tomato burgers. Be wary, the burgers are quite messy, but totally worth it. There is outdoor seating, but the intercom can be difficult to hear.

Maybe the best casual burger joint in Durham... Seating is limited, but worth waiting. If you are expecting a cheap burger this is not the place. A typical burger, fries, drink is pushing $20. That said, I have been coming here probably once a month for the last 8 years or so. No plans to stop. :)

My mother in law and I tried this place and we loved it!!!! She got the fried green tomatoe burger and I got the lamb burger. Delicious!!! I recommend it. If we are ever in the area again, I will for sure stop for another taste.

First off my family and I love to eat here when we get the chance. I ordered last week and order was wrong. Paid for toppings on my burgers that i didn’t get. When I called the next day to let them know...I talked to Lisa! Lisa first assumed that I wanted something for free and that wasn’t the intent of the call. I WILL NOT pay for something that I didn’t recieve. I clearly wanted my money back or credit (would have been fair). That comment and ASSumption left a nasty taste in my mouth. She also stated that she would have to speak w the manager for that night to ...I guess prove what I ordered. HELLO! I had a receipt as my proof of purchase. Long story short...I never recieved a call back from LISA or anyone for that matter (after she stated that she would call the next day). My feelings are bitter sweet as I may not patronize this establishment again. Not bc of the burgers or food. But bc of the subpar customer service. Shame on you Only Burger. SMH!

Seriously good burgers from a location that has a good truck and two brick and mortars. I've never had a meal here I didn't like. Never too greasy, the burgers don't fall apart (even if you get the legendary messy Carolina burger) and they've got good fries too! My personal favorite is the Texan, and it's a shame the truck doesn't carry more specialty burgers, but that's what the store is for! Seriously, eat here and you'll be coming back for more. Some of the best burgers in NC.

A delicious burger joint with amazing fried food. I enjoyed the burgers we tried quite a bit, but the fried sides were by far my favorite part. The fried pickles and bacon wrapped macaroni and cheese were especially good. I definitely recommend trying the fried sampler to get a taste of a couple of different sides.

My wife and I Love a good burger now and then... From time to time we travel from the Burlington area to Durham... We have learned to stop at Only Burger for lunch or dinner if we're even remotely hungry! The mushroom melt is awesome and we never miss getting your fries! I've also been to the Blackwell location for breakfast! Your breakfast hash is Killer!! Can't wait until our next visit!! Thank you Only Burger!!

I really want to say good things about this place so, i will say this, I loved the staff and their willingness to please. Although small, the venue allowed for outdoor seating and a nostalgic interior design liking to a 50's Mom and Pops diner to include a wide variety of local glass bottled pop. Now for my actual experience. . . So I work close by and my coworkers and I are always looking for good eats. I talked my coworkers into this place. We called ahead being that we only have an hour for lunch. Get there I check in paid and waited . . . And waited. About 30 mins go "Hey and I say hey is my order up yet?" The employees go on a hunt for red October trying to find my order in which they say was already completed, no luck. So of course they offer compensation along with many apologies and they "remake" my order. Got back to work to my understanding coworkers and we started eating. Food was very bland nothing stood out about it. I was actually very disappointed due to the fact that instead of a refund I waited for my order to be cooked again after calling ahead with much time. I gave two stars for the effort of the staff and the actual venue, will not be revisiting this place for the food thats for sure. I can only imagine what the truck tastes like if the actual restaurant tastes like this.

I was invited to come here and knew I heard the name before. When I stepped in it clicked that I had seen the food truck before. I tried the fried green tomato burger with pimiento cheese and and an egg. It was so good it was a blur i ate it so fast. They sell great comfort food and will go back to try other things.

Disappointed with the lack of flavor our burgers had. We got the lamb slider, beef slider, and the Texas burger and all three were greatly lacking. The cheese tasted like a plastic Kraft single which is a big no-go. The buttermilk dipping sauce was very flavorful and helped redeem our bland food. Would not recommend.

These are probably my favorite burgers in Durham. The buns hold up to all choice ingredients they use along with they flavorful burgers. The fries are skinny crisp and always hot. My wife likes the onion rings. They have a fair beer list. Two locations south Durham by the Post office and near the DBAP.

Great burgers made with local North Carolina beef with great added ingredients such as red onion jam, braised brisket, etc. The shoe string fries and onion rings are also terrific as are the sauces. Also a great selection of local craft beer. They also have a great sampler of fried items that includes fried pickles, onion rings and fried green tomatoes. It's a small cozy restaurant, parking is sometimes a little tricky, but well worth a trip. They also have a good truck so would definitely look for that also.

This native of Philadelphia tried the turkey patty, Philly style. It was delicious! If you get a burger, their fries pair perfectly with them. There are soft drinks, water, organic energy drinks, and local brews to wash it all down. This location (Shannon Rd) doesn’t serve ice cream and milkshakes, but it may be due to the fact that there’s a frozen yogurt right shop next door. The dining area is a bit cozy, but not crowded. Overall, I can’t help but give this place 5 stars. The food is just that good!

She was rude & when I came to the counter she just stared at me without saying hi or anything. I deal in customer service work as well but even if i’m having a bad day I still treat every customer with kindness. Again business is great just the one girl you have at the register was not. Very rude customer service. We ordered four burgers for my family and a side of fried green tomatoes 47$ worth of food. We didn't receive my wife's fries. When I asked the short older woman behind the counter who I assume was the manager about my wife's fries she came to my table and looked at my ticket and told me that we didn't order fries and I said yes we did. She said well your didn't pay for them, I told her I paid what I was told my order was when I thought they understood such a simple order. 47$ worth of food and I didn't get a simple order of fries? She got snappy with me and told me that we were not at McDonald's to which I responded keep your fries we'd rather be at McDonald's at least they have friendly service. Food definitely wasn't worth the money and her bad attitude ruined our whole meal. Good job Durham.

Ordered take out food 40 minuets prior to our lunch time. Arrived at only burger and paid for my order only to be told they are still working on it. I watched them as they received the order from the counter lady and made it. So I wasted 20 minuets of my 30 minuet lunch time waiting for them to prepare 2 lunches that should have been ready for pickup when I walked in the door. When asked what was going on with my order I was replied with "do you want your food cold" from the lady preparing the order. Wont be doing business here anymore and will make sure the people I know that do come here no longer will.

Got a chilli cheese burger with fritos and that was good! Just overall not as good as a 5 Guys Burger and lacking a little.

Ordered a Carolina burger-slaw mustard chili onions. Asked me how I wanted my burger cooked, I asked for well done NO PINK. Not even halfway through, it looked like raw pink hamburger meat. In hindsight I should have took a picture, but I was too disappointed, and just threw it away. The slaw had a sour ginger taste, and the chili had chunks of green peppers. The best thing I ate was the fries and they were nothing to brag about...shoestrings.

I have never had a mediocre piece of meat here. The space is small, but the food is delicious. From the lamb sliders, which I often choose, to the bison sliders, to the onion rings, to the fries, to the fried tomatos, this restaurant rocks. They have a small selection of beers, both craft and otherwise and also Boylan's sodas. If the weather is nice, sit outside on the lawn and eat at the picnic tables.
