Great concept. Good food. Affordable prices. A few pieces to twerk out. We visited this location on a Wednesday at about 7:00. We were seated promptly but the table was way to small and the grill took forever to heat. I almost wished that reservations were accepted so the grill would be hot and ready. We asked for another table and were chastised. The manager on duty stated that she would do so this time but would not have been able to next time and or if the owner was there. It's a young restaurant so I hope the needed changes will be made. I'm looking forward to their success. Oh, about the food... Very authentic, and fresh! Simple decor. Great for date night, team building, and trying something new!

WOW! This was probably my favorite Korean BBQ experience EVER! The staff was amazing, they were so attentive and helpful with choosing which meats and sides we wanted. The food was brought to our table INSTANTLY and everyone had a smile on their face! I cannot sing enough praise about this delicious restaurant - we will definitely be back (and soon)! We arrived at 6:30 on Thursday evening and had no wait time but it seemed to get a bit more crowded as the night went on, that however didn't slow service down one bit! 10/10 would recommend! So impressed!!

Four of us went and had a fun and delicious dining experience! I think they like to turn the heat down so your food takes longer to cook and you eat less in your 2-hour allotted time slot. So yummy! Such a fun experience, definitely give it a try! Definitely come hungry. There’s plenty of options to choose from. You cook your own meats on the grill and add the toppings/sides to each bite. They have traditional Korean liquors (Soju) and plenty of beers to choose from. The staff is friendly and super helpful if you have any questions.

A very... different sort of take on eating out. You are given a menu, you choose the certain meats and sides you would like to dine on, and you cook it yourself! There is a sort of grill type thing in the middle of your table you cook your meats and other sides on, and enjoy the meal. There is a very large variety of different things to choose from. To my surprise the butter squid was very good. Come with an open mind! This place is very different indeed, nonetheless enjoyable. The only issue me and my party found was the loud music. We had to talk very loud over it to hear each other and our waitress. But it is a very nice restaurant, and is definitely worth the try.

Before coming I didn’t know what bulgogi beef was but boy do I know now! I love the concept and there’s something really satisfying about ordering some meat and within a minute or two it’s brought to your table (even though you have to cook it). We had a great experience with our waitress helping us along, she even showed us how to make a real lettuce wrap which was incredible! They’ll cater to whatever your cooking experience level is so please don’t let that keep you away. Definitely worth a try, probably with a group of 4 or less people.

Great BBQ!! The drinks were awesome too and the service amazing!! I only gave 4 stars because the parking was horrible! But I believe since it's next to a bar going on a college night is a bad idea which we came during a Friday! Otherwise I recommend this all you can eat buffet! Food was pretty good but the service was not great. Thankfully one of the people with us had been before and knew how to cook the food otherwise we would have had a terrible experience. The meats were all pretty good but they need to be more consistent with the portion sizes. One portion of bulgogi barely feeds one person where one portion of spiced pork belly was enough for 3 people. Since we got the bulgogi first we ordered the pork based on that portion size and ended up with way too much. The Doenjang jigae soup and Dukkboki were not flavored like they should be and were rather bland. The sides provided were fantastic and numerous. Especially the soft tofu, it was delicious! Definitely something to try once if you haven't been before.

We had an AMAZING experience at Let's Meat Kbbq on Saturday! Our server and chef was Bobby, and even though the food was delicious, he personally made our experience really top notch. We had never eaten here, so Bobby took the time to explain everything and give us his recommendations. He recommended we start with the Fatty Brisket, Beef Bulgogi, and Jalepeno Pork Belly. As we tried more meats, we realized that Bobby's recommendations were our favorites. He was always checking in to see if we needed anything. We will definitely return and ask for Bobby! The wait was ridiculous, although there were empty tables. When we finally got to a table the the stove didn't work. The manger came over with a bogus excuse that didn't solve the problem. One of the guest in our party tried to get a soft drink at the end of the night and was denied. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life.

We visited on a Friday night and the place was pretty packed. I have been to a few Korean BBQ places in Korea and this place was pretty close to the same experience. The waiter was excellent and the food was very good quality. The only reason I give it 4 Stars is due to the price. At $30 it is on the pricey side but it is all you can eat in 2 hours and it is fun. I would recommend.

So phenomenal! Best bang for your buck Korean BBQ in NC. Would suggest the rosemary and curry pork, fatty beef briscut, corn cheese, beef tounge, and oyster mushrooms. Especially invest in the flavored kalbi, it's so worth the money. Our server Vien was so accommodating, giving amazing suggestions and ensuring we cooked everything to perfection!

This spot has the groundwork to be something special but what they really need is competition. Let's Meat KBBQ is your typical communal KBBQ experience where you come together with friends to enjoy the meats, soju, and laughter. It's not amazing high-quality meat, but it's more about having a good time. Take it from a Korean-American dude currently living in KBBQ heaven that is Southern California for the last 4 years--this spot is solid for the area, but it can be so much better. Food: First, a quick guide on how to start your first order: Ask for chopped garlic and jalapenos to add to your cooking meat. Order salad (to be eaten together with meat for balance), fermented bean paste, steamed egg, fermented bean soup (doenjang jjigae), and spicy tofu soup (soondubu). Don't worry about overwhelming the server, this is what they're trained for. Best of all, it's all free and comes with the meal! As for meats, start with a couple plates of thinly sliced beef brisket and move onto heavier meats like steak and pork belly in the middle of the meal and finally finish with more beef brisket. Dip your cooked meats in the brisket sauce, chili sauce, sesame oil/salt combo, or bean paste. Eat with salad and radish paper for more balanced, flavorful bites. The selection of meats is kind of limited and you can't get any marinated beef dishes (yangnyeom galbi) without paying an additional $13.99. You're pretty much stuck with brisket, steak, bulgogi (which is marinated but it's a waste of money to order this filler food, trust me), and pork belly. Overall the meat was just okay in quality--don't expect perfectly marbled wagyu. Of note, the steak was cut disastrously. The pork belly was okay as well--nothing particularly special. Price: $30 before tax and tip is ridiculous. I'm a firm believer that no KBBQ spot (unless it's a la carte or marketed to be high-end) should be this expensive ESPECIALLY considering Let's Meat's limited menu.. This price point is purely a result of absolute lack of competition. Unfortunately, until there's pressure from competition, they'll have no incentive to make the price more reasonable. Moreover, the $13.99 extra for EACH plate of galbi is RIDICULOUS. A plate limit of 1 per customer would be much more reasonable at the very least. Overall, while it's great that Charlotte has a KBBQ spot, the price and limited selection make it hard to justify coming back frequently. Come try them out for your first KBBQ experience but just know that there's much better out there!

Great all you can eat Korean BBQ. It is a 2 hour window but that is plenty of time to get full. This is a prepare yourself place with a grill in the center of the table. They have a fantastic selection of Banchan/side dishes to include delicious radish kimchi. The meat selection is plentiful with 3 meats at a time ordered. Pork belly was great. The y also have a wide ranges of sauces to appeal to every pallet.

Take all the flavors of Seoul Meat Co., and put it on a grill in front of your face. Your orders are brought out to you, you place them on a grill, cook them yourself, and eat as much as you want. There are probably 30 options of different cuts and flavors of beef, chicken, pork, and seafood. Try them all. They will let you. You have two hours to eat as much as you want. If you don't like the idea of cooking for yourself, go next door to Seoul. If you like that idea, being some friends and family and it will be a bonding experience like none other. We don't sit down like this in the US, it's a different experience, and will lend itself to creating many wonderful memories between you and your loved ones.

My boyfriend and I went last night and the wait wasn’t that long. It was a Friday night so we got our table pretty fast around 9:00. The food comes out super fast and the servers help with the cooking. My boyfriend has worked as a chef so he mostly took over and it was great food! We ordered three rounds of meat and they were all great. Unfortunately, their grill turned off on us during our dinner, but they were accommodating during the issue. I love the staff and delicious food here! I will definitely come back and try their kalbi! Thank you for opening up in Charlotte.

I had a great time tonight with my group of four at Let's Meat. The quality and variety is very good—the beef bulgogi was our favorite. Our server Peter was very attentive and on top of things throughout the night; our order was always accurate and we never had to wait long for him up come around. There is a 2-hour limit, but it's more than enough time for most groups. We were absolutely stuffed after 90 minutes. Definitely try the corn cheese, even better if you mix it with some of the mushrooms that are on the menu.

It's Korean BBQ so come in expecting to cook for yourself, that's just how it works. The servers will help you out if you need it, but cooking for yourself is part of the experience. All the food was very good, but I can see what some people have said about the portion sizes. It makes sense to have smaller portion sizes so nothing gets wasted, though. Plus, it's all you can eat, so you can always just order more! If you like meat and an interactive dining experience, you'll definitely enjoy this place!

I was invited here by a friend once, and we had a great time. Five stars with one stipulation. If you bring a friend here who has little experience at make-your-own food joints, be ready to teach them. If you're new to this style of eating, rest easy as the staff actually do a pretty good job of explaining how it all works. It's about $30 per person for two hours of eating, and I personally recommend skipping breakfast or lunch before coming here.

I would have given it more stars, but the customer service is not there. We would hardly ever see our waiter and we didn't get checked on much. The cooking area should have been a little bigger, because it takes a while for some of the food like chicken to cook. Just not big enough. It's good and fun, but if your waiter doesn't check on you it can be aggravating getting more food and drink. The manager walked by alot, but never talked to us or checked on us.

Korean BBQ restaurant where you can eat all you wish during two hours for a set price. You cook it at your table. Menu runs the gamut from seafood to fowl to meat and vegetables. From regular to spicy. Or favorites include as tenderloin cut, spicy chicken and drained pork belly. Korean sides are brought as needed. Ample parking but shared with a sister restaurant so it can be difficult to find a space at peak times. Also, be ready to wait a bit on weekends. No reservations. Ah, yes. If your eyes are bigger than your stomach and ask for too much and can't eat all, you may be assessed a "wasteful" penalty.

Overall fantastic place to eat! Grills don't get burnt like other KBBQ places. They bring out ordered items quicker than any other KBBQ place I've been to. Service is always great. My only complaint is that for $30, the kalbi short ribs should definitely be included. An additional $14/order for kalbi is crazy. Sauces could also be upgraded. Otherwise, a great place to eat

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at their other restaurant, but these guys are really the only game in town when it comes to Korean. I came in Monday tax day around 8ish. I wanted to come on a day and time that would allow for better service. I picked well. Claire my waitress was excellent. The Bulgogi and the pickled radishes were some of my faves. Will be back, loved it, thank you Claire. I want to add that they're two restaurants are extremely popular and during lunch and dinner on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday you could easily have a much different outcome.

We decided to go eat at Let’s Meat Kbbq today for my wife’s birthday. There was about a 45 min wait (no problem this was expected) During our wait we waited outside patiently in the back area (where we had parked, very near the back door of let’s meat). To our surprise, we saw a family of black rats surrounding the entire area. Not just one or two but eight in total we saw just hanging around. Instantly my stomach was turned and we decided to eat at another place. I’m sure it’s very difficult to control the rat population in Charlotte yet food, trash, and poor public/restaurant hygiene are all contributing factors. Who knows how many times employees walk out the back door and let these rodents in by accident. Sorry but I’ll pass on the Rats

I am a total newbie when it comes to Korean BBQ. We, unfortunately, don't have any like this in our small Florida town. What a joy!!! Our waitress turned teacher when we asked for her to educate us. (I appreciate that as a teacher.) She shared customs, flavors, ideas, and "how they do it over there" because she has actually traveled to S.Korea. the meat was tender, the various tyoes of Kimchi were awesome, and it was all you can eat. We left stuffed. I tried a banana Makkoli (like hard banana soda)...amazing! The bulgogi beef was tasty, the curried pork belly was just awash in a gentle yellow curry which wafted through your senses. Oh! The potato salad! Sweet-ish with cranberries, corn and apples! Yum! And another OH! The "rice cakes" are NOT what you think they are..... They are creamy, spicy, and sticky. Amazing!

An all you can eat traditional korean bbq place. Until I tried Lets Meat I had never tried Korean BBQ, and after I tried it I had to go back. Every time I get company visiting from out of town this is where I take them. Its a different experience you cook all your food at the table, you select up to 3 meats at a time and they bring them out for you to cook. I highly recommend making a lettuce wrap with the bulgogi you wont regret it.

Was largely good but the grill burnt the food quickly. The server said it was due to the older grill tops. At 30 dollars per head, those really should be getting changed frequently. That said, service was good and the food that didn’t get burnt was great.

Very good food. Very pleasant servers. Had a really good time eating all you can eat Korean bbq! Keep in mind that they get really busy so be prepared to wait (or make a reservation if they allow that). Conveniently, they have a seating area inside and outside for people waiting for their turn. We waited for about an hour before we finally got our table. It was well worth it!

HOWEVER....everyone in my group came down with the runs. ..there were four of us and we were all crying on the throne that night. (Obviously not on the same throne). Great experience. Food was really interesting. A little short on the sides, but the main thing is the meat. The thin slices were great and since it was buffet,we tried almost everything on the menu. This place is more fun as a group than alone. Price was a bit high, but considering how much you could eat, it's understandable. Really liked the place and would go again if it wasn't so far from where I live.

We were was a little intimidated at first, but our server (Dylan), guided us through perfectly! She cooked our food for the first bit until we were comfortable barbequing by ourselves. She also helped give us recommendations for what to get next and how to eat the foods together. As for the food, it was absolutely incredible; I've never had anything like it. I'll be learning some new recipes when I get home. It was the perfect place to take an out of town guest for a unique experience.

One of the best places for meat gutney in Charlotte. Service was very good. it was a little loud and it's so young and trendy a place older folks might feel unwelcome. But we can all meet together around the dinner table. I think there's officially a time limit on how long you can stay and we over stayed our welcome but they were still pretty nice to us, And we weren't the only ones.

Best Korean BBQ we found in NC / Virginia area. (Better than KBBQ in Centerville or Annandale) It’s $30 per person All You Can Eat (kalbi is extra cost - kids less). The many choices of beef and pork are good quality (not what you would normally from unlimited service). Our favorite was the bulgogi and beef brisket. Plus Excellent unlimited kimchi. Service is very fast team very friendly. Has on site parking (once repaving is finished). Only 10 minutes drive from Interstate; worth stopping if driving thru Charlotte.

Let’s Meat is one of the most unique and fun restaurants in Charlotte. $35 to grill unlimited amounts of meat for up to 2 hours. I feel like I got good value for my money as I tried around 12 different meats. The wait staff is helpful and quick. The pork butt was my favorite. Also try the egg soufflé.

The food was fantastic. This is a self cook Korean BBQ where they bring you the meats and you cook them. High quality meats, marinated in different spices. Trust your server for suggestions, they know their stuff. We had every red meat combo, brisket and steak, rosemary pork belly, Korean style pork belly and curry. The sauces were unbelievable and the condiments that you add to your wrap that come at the table were the perfect compliment. Bringing my Korean friends from out of state next time, this is just like her home, so good. Coming back for sure.

10/12/2018 Went here for dinner with a good buddy of mine and we had a great time! It’s all you can eat for two hours! We ate a ton of food and I should requested a wheelchair to get rolled out of there! You select what meats you wanted and then cook them right in front of you on a gas burner hot plate. It also came with sides of spices and other stuff that was tasty. You’ll have to go and find out! I highly recommend a visit to Let’s Meat Korean BBQ!!

VEGAN friendly- what?! You read it right. While the concept of the restaurant itself may not be ‘vegan acceptable’, if you are vegan or vegetarian for health reasons more than humane reasons this location actually has plenty of options. My spouse is a carnivore but I let our server know I don't eat meat and I was very happy with the accommodations made for me. Every plate they brought him they also found something for me! I left full- and not just from water and rice! If you have diet restrictions you know how hard it is to find options, I was pleasantly surprised.

This is a decent Korean BBQ spot. Not as good as the ones down in ATL, but for Charlotte...it's perfect. Two things that need addressing are rice paper wraps were missing and they only have single occupant restroom per gender. There are too many tables for two restrooms to be enough for the patrons.

Fun place for a feast! $30 per person gets you all you can eat goodness. Plan to stay awhile. Lots of options and with all-you-can-eat, you can try some of everything. It was almost a bit overwhelming. However, the server was very helpful and explained everything and got us started with the grilling process. A great place to experience and experiment with all the flavors of Korean bbq. Loved the bolgogi and pork belly best. Service was fantastic. My only complaint—the music was WAY too loud, making it a bit more difficult to enjoy a leisurely meal and conversation. Overall though, good food, great service and value. I’ll be back.

We went yesterday during the last $19.99 deal until they reach 10,000 IG followers! It was amazing. Our waiter was great and was always there to check on us! The food was amazing and delicious . Kalbi and kimchi were my fav! Not a fan of the ddukboki, it does not taste like the real deal! Aside from that everything was great and we were seated right away!

Let's Meat Korean bbq is absolutely a must experience! Although the concept is still new to the United States, it is a "normal" dining experience in Korea. You cook your own food, but there are so many choices to choose from. You do have a 2 hour limit, but don't let that deter you; you'll eat your fill within the first hour! Go with friends & family you enjoy hanging with!

Great Korean BBQ downtown Charlotte. It’s right next door to what appears to be another Korean restaurant. We ate so much that we were unable to finish our two-hour all you can eat course. I was disappointed to see no Korean beer on the menu, nor was there any bibimbap. However, just finding a cool place like this was enough for 5 stars. Interesting fenced-in dog park in the back...
