Super fun and good, karaoke was a fun aspect after eating a TON of food, a tad expensive but really great hot pot. Ton of options and really good meats and vegetables

I was looking for a hotpot place similar to the one I had visited in New York City. I googled it and this place popped up. I'm happy that it did. This place was almost spot on to what I had at Hou Yi. Plus, their sauce bar was pretty good. We ordered a couple of rounds of food, then they brought out some sweetened coconut milk for dessert. Which was needed because boy, the spice there is a little much. I can handle spicy things pretty decently, but the mild here was super spicy and made me tear up a little. I ended up mixing the broths 3 parts pork broth to 1 part chili broth. Then added in some housin sauce, garlic, and sesame oil from the sauce bar. It was delicious!

X Libby

Be careful, This place they will automatic add around 15-20% tips into their bill and will never tell you. And if you didn’t read the bill carefully, you will add another amount of tips. The taste is not that good. But be careful.

Duy Nguyen

I didn’t know what happened your business. I had been here 2 times and i love it. But when i came back third times both of us have problems stomach. We knew your food weren’t fresh or keep refrigerated long time.

Jason Xiao

All you can eat hotpot for $25! There are endless hotpot selections, and you can eat your stomachs out! The lamb is a personal favorite, but there are tons of selections when it comes to the hot pot broth, and making your own dipping sauce!

Zhiyi XU

Good value for lunch buffet, Monday to Friday.

Jiachen Li

Buffet here is great.

Sam Watson

Great hot pot meal. A little pricey but worth a visit every now and then

Loved it! Food is good.

Good Harvest is in my personal top 5 restaurants in the Raleigh Durham area, but that doesn't say much as this RD isn't really a place for true foodies. It is a fairly interesting restaurant with a wonderful selection of food (most of which I'm assuming were actually bought directly from Li Ming). However, it must be noted that there are hot pot restaurants in literally any other part of America that are much better than Good Harvest. The overall administrative division of the restaurant seems jumbled, as we would lose our orders and end up not receiving food items we ordered. Furthermore, the service here is an absolute abysmal joke. We would just see waiters standing at the side doing nothing while the customers need their dishes changed or the fat on the surface of the broth removed. Any question directed to a waiter would not wager a reply. He would just simply leave and not come back with an answer. A tip I would give you: come for the food, don't expect anything else .

Bruce Su

The service is not slow. But you are at the wrong place if you are in for the all you can eat hotpot. They don't give you refill as you expect in other restaurants. The general experience is: they will NOT refill your order for meat. I cam here twice and in total they only refill 3 meat times. They charged $20/$25 per head count and only give you stuff that is cheap. I've attach a photo of my table that has stay empty for 20 minutes as a proof. The waiter use "too busy" as an excuse on a half empty restaurant. Watch out for the overprice scam. Go to the egg-and-I next door would be a better experience. Edit: my son just ate a piece of hard plastic. Glad it wasn't swallowed. Definitely a bad restaurant.

Irene Fried

Very good,fresh food. Overpriced

Hao Liu

Awesome friendly serice. Amazing authentic Chinese food. Great atmosphere. Awesome food! (one more time just b/c the food is that good)

Jimmy Steadman

What a great experience. Our meal was presented well, the servers very attentive and the prices reasonable. Absolutely delicious!

Beau Garcia

Wonderfully authentic sauces and fast service. Nice selections for small to medium groups. Groups over 8 get a little unwieldy so plan ahead for party room reservation

Nick Fuchs

Excellent service, staff, and food. Very patient and friendly with first timers.

Definitely an enjoyable experience if you know what you're going for. Don't expect perfect service. The menu is confusing if you don't speak/read Chinese. The food though is delicious. I enjoy the all you can eat $20 lunch. You pick a broth then a variety of items to cook in it.

Steph Lee

I am not sure if this were language barrier with servers. I found plastic from the pot and inquired to them. They came back and said, "this is a wrap from the crab meat. It's okay." Well, this plastic was boiling in the pot for quite long time. Food is good, thanks to plastic wrap.

Gao Tang

Expensive, unhealthy Chinese food. Too much oil in food, feels like it's frying everything.

David N Karen McKay

Lots of fun boiling my own food in the broth that boils on the table... full

I don't go to enough 'hot pot' places to know how it compares to others, but I'll review from my single visit. The ambiance is nice, more upscale than the average suburban Chinese restaurant. The service as good, attentive waiters and the food was brought out quickly. There are a wide range of options on the menu, from different broths and meats to many vegetables to choose from. We ordered a mixed mushroom plate and it had good collection of interesting types. They also have 'fish bowls' of pre-cooked proteins if cooking your own food doesn't sound like your kind of thing. I went with 4 guys, we had a fish bowl, a hot pot with lamb, ribeye, shrimp and fish paste, plus an enormous amount of vegetables (not all shown in my pictures). The total per person was ~$30 which seemed like a good value considering the amount of food we had. If you're looking for a unique dining experience it's definitely worth checking out.

John

Good hotpot buffet! Average meat, the sauce are not very impressive.

brad hines

Not a conventional Chinese food but specialty sea food. Large portions, usually feeds multiple people. Waiter was hard to understand, he was too outspoken, and there was A LOT of noise. The music was too loud, sounds of dishes clanging and doping. It was a VERY unpleasant experience for me, but my kids liked it. I will never go back. Food was alright, very meat heavy, wish there was more veggies. Server wasn't all that polite either.

jacky chen

the waitress very rude

Awesome AYCE lunch special, would definitely recommend.

My daughter and I ate here during a recent trip to Cary, NC. We were both impressed with the menu and how delicious everything was. A few drawbacks that I had have been echoed by others who have written reviews: cleanliness was a bit low and the staff was rather inattentive for refills (both of drinks and food) even though we were paying for the all you can eat.

Feng Zheng

Thought the AYCE hot pot was average, only had 2 seafood options for the lunch.

Changhong Guan

Pricy

Zhou Frank

The manager is rude, very unpleasant experience.

Brian Chan

Food and service was great. Atmosphere is welcoming. It's the closest thing to authentic Chinese. However, it's very expensive and get very little food. For a family of 4, the cost for us was about $200. I recommend going there ..... if you have a big wallet.

Kim t

If you order the mussels, look inside of them to see if the kitchen has cleaned the fur from the inside. I got food poisoning from this place. Should’ve left when I saw that 85 sanitation rate

Lois :)

Good quality food and service

Jennifer Meyer

Yummy hot pot. Great dessert

jm76242

This Chinese hot pot restaurant is so much fun. Good meat quality and selection. They do not serve alcohol. The broth is pork based. We got half spicy half normal broth. It was very very good by itself. You check off what ingredients you want and they bring them to you. The lamb was great and the ribeye too. The meat is thinly sliced for quick cooking.

Eddie Liu

Best hot pot in North Carolina! These people are serious hot pot professionals. Just be sure to come hungry for the Lunch all you can eat from 11-4!

Stan Elder

An adventure for those unfamiliar with Asian hot pot, but the staff is very helpful in coaching. Very good, authentic food--you won't leave hungry.

Huai-Jen Tai

Come if you desire legit Chinese hot pot in the triangle like me!!! Made reservation for 6 and went today (12/19). Our host and waiter were super nice, they could sense some of us had never been here before and let us read menu througroly without pushing us at all. It took them a while to prepare different ingredients for our all you can eat hot pot but when they were ready, everything all served at once. Our waiter was able to retrieve used dishes and refill our drinks at the right time, no plates got over stacked and no one was thirsty any given time, broth was at decent level always. We ordered a second round of ingredients and finished them slowly. Again none of their host or waiting staffs were being pushy, really nice experience over all and great way to introduce hot pot to people who had never done it. Friendly reminder: Their hot flavored broth is no child play, please ask them for sample if they are available before you go "oh that's just like places that makes general Tao's chicken, I'll just order it super hot to make sure it is indeed hot!"

Lee Highsmith

Love to see authentic hotpot here! Really tasty!! (Hot means HOT)

ATTENTION: To those of you who know what a good hot pot is (thinly sliced meats and various things going into a boiling broth etc.). THIS IS THE PLACE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. The place looks great, has friendly staff, and they really really do it right. Let's all try to keep this place in business, shall we? If you don't know what a hot pot is, look it up and go there with your friends. This is the only place of its kind in the area, and we need to show them how happy we are that they decided to bring this great thing to our area. Eating a hot pot with friends, especially on a cold evening, is really the way to go. Clearly, I can't say enough good about the place. To those who complain about the service. Anyone who knows anything about REAL Chinese restaurants knows that service means almost nothing because you are there to eat delicious food and not to make friends with your waiter. Give these people a chance. Service is easy to change. Product is not. Focus on the food and if you help keep them in business, they will improve. It's worth it if you want a nice hot pot place in the Triangle.

Chad Rychlewski

Legit hot pot. Reminds me of a place in LA my family went, really good thinly sliced meat and fish balls. The spicy mala soup base is SPICEY. The sauce bar for dipping sauce was great.

I love hotpot in the winter.

Fabulous, if expensive, Hot Pot and Dry Hot Pot. Really delicious. Generous portions of meat. Fresh, crisp vegetables. Nice build-your-own sauce bar. Consistently good service. Yuan Yuan, our server today, was simply great. She was attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Brad Lee

Bad service and bad attitude. Reserved a table several days ago. When arrived, on-duty "manager" told that no table anymore and the reservation was avoided. Apparently the restaurant's fault and messed-up management. Rarely-seen and surprisingly rude and arrogant to customers. Definitely won't go and won't recommend friends go for sure.

Fun experience but a lot of work. Our waitress didn't speak English so that was a big barrier. They're liquor license has been suspended so no beer or wine :-( It's a one-price all you can eat so don't over order because the menu says they have the right to charge you $15/lb for wasted food. You can only stay for 2 hours or they have the right to charge you overtime (that cracked me up)! That said, the food was really fresh. It's very confusing how long to cook what. Ex: the shrimp takes about 1-2 minutes while the arrow root takes 10. In my opinion the meats were gross. They are definitely fresh and look so appetizing but no matter how long you stick it in the broth it comes out grey and has no flavor unless you dip it in sauces. I dipped the meat in for 5 seconds - there is no rare, only well-done. The restaurant customers were all Asian so you know it has to be good!! Just for our group, it wasn't but what an experience. We laughed a lot!

Jinqi Yellen

The food was ok, I'll say it's not real Chinese food. the service was terrible.

Curt Kirkhoff

Food was amazing. Service was dreadful. It took 30 minutes to be seated while there were more than 5 empty tables. It took 45 minutes to get our food after we ordered it. It took 30 minutes to get our check, and after waiting another 30 minutes we still have yet to receive our cards back. I'm writing this review after being here for 2.5 hours. We probably spent 45 min eating and the rest either waiting or trying to find someone to help us. Also, while I know this is hot pot, everyone at the table was sweating even before getting our food. We had to fan ourselves to stay somewhat comfortable. There's zero air flow and you can smell other people's sweat. Looking around, everyone is glistening...and not in a good way. This is our second attempt coming here, and the first was just as bad.

Jay Komthongpane

It was just okay. I hope they get service straitened out.

C Yang

Great place and environment. Sad part about it is me asking for pork and end up getting fork which I understand that it sounded alike. I asked again for pork belly and got pumpkins? Not sure if these waitresses understand English. Overall food is great and waitress is very attentive.

Shemaiah Roberts

The food here is pretty good! I asked for mild and they gave me inferno hot. I had bullfrog for the first time, kind of boney but for the most part everything was fresh and quick to order

Maria Resendiz-Chavez

Went for a friends birthday and the waiters we're very helpful and nice, the food was delicious and would totally go there again 10/10

Ziyuan Wang

Good place for spicy pots.

hemu2300

OMG this was so much fun!! I did the all you can eat hot pot lunch which ends at 4pm, it costs around $21 per person, drinks were not included or unlimited but you do not wanna fill up on drinks anyway. The service was spectacular even being packed and crazy busy! I got the yuan yang soup and realized once it came to the table and cooked some meat in it that you don't even need dipping sauces, the broth is extremely flavorful and rich on it's own. The quality of the shrimp and other meats I ordered were excellent everything including the veggies are very fresh and clean. I had a hot pot in Houston last week and this place knocks it out of the park in every single aspect. I just can't wait to go back this coming weekend!

Chris Bon

Our first hot pot experience was very pleasant. The menu and ordering process was explained very well. Basically, your table has a range on it. They will bring you a big bowl of soup base. You choose which one you want. Then you choose what veggies, meats, seafood, noodles, you would like. As the soup boils you add your ingredients. There are also various sauces to choose from to flavor your boil. Dinner is all you can eat for $25 per person. There is a max time limit on the table of 2 hours.

Eric Kang

One of my favorite places in Cary. Awesome everything, but go in and get samples..You won't regret it

Richard Chang

Better than expected, generous portions but then again the bill was also “generous” (not to the customers benefit). Try the beef tendon and pork ear appetizer cold dishes as they are sliced very thin and excellent. If getting the dry pot with 2-3 different meats, it doesn’t seem like the food was cooked on the pot that it comes out in, resulting in some meats hotter than the others. Unfortunately, some of the meats were merely warm when we got it.

baccon chen

The dry pot here is delicious, and the price of hot pot is not expensive. The environment is very good.

Joshua Carney

Very good

Swarnadeep Majumder

Best hotpot place around.

Michael Chuong

Love the hot pot feature. Service need a lot to be desire. The manager have no personality, the servers do not explain how the way it works.

Great food! All you can eat dinner is only $25.

Will Neese

Decided to take my daughter out for something different, went here because of the good reviews. There is no working website to view the menu, but I knew they had hotpots. Everything on the menu is in Chinese, the staff speak very little English, and from what I could tell they only have hotpots? I've never done hotpots and there was no explanation of how long to cook things, how to get the base into my bowl (ladels had holes), or recommendations. Long and short it cost me and my 12yr old $70 for an underwhelming experience.

Sarah Evans

Super delicious hot pot! This is the first true hot pot place I have food in the Raleigh area. The food is fresh and the servers are nice. They work around food allergies and are very attentive. It is a great option for a date night or celebration dinner. We are definitely going back.

Cu Phung

This is a Chinese all you can eat hot pot with a good selection of vegetables and meat. It costs $20 per person, $15 for vegetarian option. The meat option includes beef, pork, and lamb. Shrimp and fish are also included. The vegetables included are lettuce, mushroom, watercress, bamboo shoot, tofu, lotus root, potato, seaweed, wood ear mushroom, and more. There are also other specialty items for extra cost. There are three different broths to choose, vegetable, tomato, and spicy. The ying Yang pot allows you to choose 2 different broths. There are also a wide variety of sauces available. The services are excellent. My family enjoyed our time there. I think you will, too.

Slawek Pruchnik

Kevin Pro

Good restaurant! Good food! Good service! Good price! I love this place!

Sihai Li

One of best Chinese restaurant in NC, a little pricey and I guess the menu is a little too hard to read for Americans. Bring a Chinese friend with u guys

Ethan Gordon

Seriously one of the best meals that I've had in awhile. I knew it was going to be good when I noticed that there other locations are in China flushing and in Brooklyn. I will definitely be back soon.

Tony Bichler

I love Chinese food, and I love spicy Thai food, but their spicy side of hot pot was over the top. Just not my kind of spicy. Then it was too expensive on Sunday. $60 for two. Service was excellent, but for the price and the bad pepper flavor, only one star. Also, this place must throw tons of food out every day. Insane!

Xinxin Xiao

Great place for those who loves authentic Chinese food. One of the few places do hot pot, dry pot, and seafood this good. We really enjoyed our food every time we eat there.

Tommy Dang

Great place for hot pot! Definitely be back.

This is not just a wonderful meal. It is an experience. The service is light years above what is normally received in US restaurants.

Shawn Dawson

Awesome and yay.

Becky Zheng

A little pricy but it was worthy! We had the small flounder fish bowl, fish was perfectly cooked with a nicely spice - looked like it was broiled or boiled with hot pepper and over layers of veggies. The pickle radish was sweet sour and light salty. Our server was very kind and helpful - I had so many questions and she was very attentive and patient. So thankful to have a traditional Chinese restaurant nearby! Deff return soon!!!

Hiep Lien

Amazing hot pot and all you can eat option all week! lunch is only $19.95 and the dinner is like $25 I think! Service is great even for non-Asian customers.

Chester Hsieh

We had a party of 18 last night. They gave us a private room equipped with karaoke. Everyone had a great time with hotpot foods and entertainment. Great place! Can't wait to go there again!

Marcia Daugherty

Attentive service and outstanding food! Everything extremely fresh, high quality. The pork broth is amazing, and my hubby said the spicy chili broth was too. Very clean, pleasant setting, which was upscale although the prices weren't high.

Alvin Yap

Authentic Szechuan Mala hotpot. Fresh ingredients and flavorful broth. Service is good.

Ruben Ramirez

Love the atmosphere. Great service. First time eating like this and the waiter walked us through how to prepare our food. Ate way too much

Alex

Service is amazing. The food is amazing. This truly is a hidden gem. Do not resist, just go eat here. Not recommended for solo eaters or for light eaters. The portions are endless and the aromas in the restaurant are heavenly. Just go. Stop reading this and go.

The food was very tasty. We ordered hot pot which was excellent! We had a party of 16 and they were very accommodating giving us a special room. I was very delighted with the black fungus and quail eggs. I can't wait to return and experience this wonderful place again.

Sean McCarthy

Always great good and good service, though they are out of things here and there. Be prepared to over eat

Ethan Chao

Finally a good hot pot place. The atmosphere was nice, the variety of meats and vegetables to select from were also great, and the waiters were attentive and helped get our orders asap.

Helen Oluokun

Love love love loveeee the hot pot there. I wished there was more options but it is still great. So glad I finally found a hot pot place in North Carolina

Latisha Bain

Nice place but scary to eat there didn't know what the heck to order. Food is very different there.

Tony Artrip

Great food. You'd be hard pressed to find better hotpot in China. Authentic as it gets!

Feichen Yang

Good price for an all-you-can-eat hot pot. Mostly fresh ingredients. However we encountered a batch of beef that just refuses to cook. Didn’t feel so well that afternoon either.

Michael Torbert

Delicious and authentic Chinese hot pot.

Brian Wolff

Great hot pot broths, decent selection of veggies and meats.

Zeck Jia

The hotpot there is somehow good, better than so hot.

Trenda Jones

The odor hit us when we walked in. Then the first thing you see upon entering are some of the filthiest fish tanks that I have ever seen. Most of them were empty with blackish mold and, thick, dark green algae slime. Some actually had lobsters in them. We were promptly greeted by a smiling female server whom we couldn't understand and who couldn't understand us. A male employee proceeded to assist us, by handing us a menu. This was our first time at this restaurant or any restaurant like it where the dishes didn't have descriptions. We attempted to ask, but the language barrier was difficult. We decided that the pricing was too much to risk no one eating the food or getting sick from it. The odor was no better past the entrance and as we were leaving, we noticed the low food score. I must note that there were several patrons seated inside, so that could mean something positive.

Lone Lo

Tangents Wing

Great hotspot with reasonable price.

Do The Thing

Food was good. Service was terrible. The menu is nearly impossible to decipher. Point to something and hope for the best. Expect the bill to be twice what you thought you ordered. Grand opening needs to be followed by grand staff retraining. Never saw our waitress after she took our order. The person that sat us was rude and dismissive. It took them 30 minutes to run our cards. There doesn't seem to be any air conditioning in a building full of steaming pots and sweaty people. Brilliant choice. I've been to plenty of hot pot places. This was by far the worst managed. Even though the food was good, I would never come back.

Danny Cao

Had a great time going with coworkers. Service was exceptional and we also got to use the karaoke room.

Michael Brainard

Perhaps the only place here to enjoy the Chinese hotpot. Their fishes are also good.

Great spot for hot pot! Few broths to choose from with a good variety of meats and veggie. Highly recommend for hot pot lovers!

Morton Mo

Awesome restaurant with delicious seafood and excellent service. It is on the pricey side but definitely worth it.

Jeremy Roberts

Cat Phuoc Le

Good place to have all you can eat hot pot

Kari Huang

Their AYCE hot pot is so good because so much variety and they have their own sauce bar. Server seemed to be more comfy speaking Mandarin. Refills for water and soda were quick. Towards the end, this guy seemed to not bring food out as fast. Apparently there’s a time limit here but I forgot how long.

Ranjay Jayadev

One of the best hotpot restaurants in the area! We've been countless times!

Katie L

I wanted to go eat there until I saw it TWICE on restaurant ratings on WRAL. They always get a C or B in cleanliness. YUCK!!

s2chan forever

Food is okay, but service is not that great

Michelle Lou

The phone number for this place doesn’t work. It says it’s disconnected when I call. What kind of a restaurant has a non-working phone number?

Roy C

Awesome hot pot. We went there during dinner which had unlimited Buffett of hot pot items. They have a variety of items to choose from. Good service as well.

Chad Oliver

We had a hot pot dinner here for a farewell party for friends. The broths were very good. We did not know what to order, but the staff was very helpful.

Alex Moster

Really good hot pot, when they say spicy food, they mean it! Personally glad to have actually spicy food.

Charles Du

Probably the most authentic Chinese style hot pot I've had here. Strongly recommend. Pricy but worth it

Vincent Liu

Awesome food! Just like Sichuan Hotpot back home. Love the food and the service. The karaoke in the VIP room is really nice.

Al Seekski

It's a little disorganized. I had to ask for things like silverware and something else, but the food was excellent. The menu is incredibly confusing and the staff's English skills are poor. I had to ask another diner to understand their hotpot system. It's a long wait on the weekend.

Heather Abdel

Food is yummy. However, it is expensive and the menus are complicated.

Barrett Grubbs

Wow good!

I never given any place 1 star before but this place deserved it. Bad service, rushing, didn’t give us a smile, waited 25 minutes for just drinks. Idk if I did anything wrong when I just came into the store.
