The food is always really good. Thursdays special is baked chicken that is wonderful. This place get really busy at lunch, best to get there by 11:30am but they handle the crowd well and the service is always good no matter how busy it is.

This is a nice spot. I came across it looking for another place to dine. The overall experience including food (taste, presentation) and service was excellent. The only issue I had was I was expecting a New Orleans, Bourbon Street style experience and that was not to be. Other than that, it was cool.

Great she-crab soup, nice ambience, quick service but they did not want to honor what their menu said. The menu clearly says that you get a garlic bread and iced tea with all specials. Well guess what, we went there on a Friday, and she-crab soup was on special but they denied to give me garlic bread or iced tea which should have come with the soup. A little disappointing.

Been here twice on two different occassions months apart as I am from a different state. Both times everything was good. Both times I have gone I went with different groups of people and they all liked their food as well. They have many times of selections. Friendly, fast, great service. And if you're looking for something that more of an average price it's not overly expensive like other places in this area.

Great little place in uptown Charlotte. It's a hidden jewel. Delicious sandwiches and salads. There are daily specials- usually 2 to choose from, or you can choose a combo of both. Pricing at about $9-10 per dish, a gracious amount of food. And best of all it tastes great and the staff is super friendly. It pays to go early or late because it is small and it gets busy during the main lunchtime.

This is the classic "cheers" type tavern that we all would like to find down the road from our house. We were in town for the Monday night Panther's game and were walking around downtown, trying to find unique places and see the sites. We did not eat, but people were eating and seemed to be enjoying it. The food smelled great and looked great as well. The staff was great, the beer was super cold and the patrons were friendly. We met a great elderly man who was from Boston who told great stories, like he had known us forever. He was apparently a regular there, but unlike most regulars of a bar. Most regulars are not firendly and try to head off anyone new, but not here! It was designed awesome and we would have liked to pick it up and carry it home with us! We will be back there!!

Staying in uptown Charlotte NC for an event one evening, we (group of ten) found ourselves trying to find somewhere to eat. It was already 7:30pm and there had been other events going on and everywhere local we tried had a ridiculous wait time. We happened upon the French Quarter! It was small and packed, but they were able to seat us immediately. Very friendly and great atmosphere! Service was prompt and dependable despite the packed house! Ordered Supreme Nachos as appetizer and they were outstanding! Had London broil wrap that was equally as good. Daughter had chicken quesadillas that she said were great as well! Whether we were all hungry, or the food was truly satisfying and good, I'm not sure, but we all had no complaints! Great friendly service, prompt, and tasty food all add up to a super experience! I'd recommend this to anyone!

The food varied from excellent to mediocre. The crabcakes with redfish were scrumptious. The other entrees were just fair. The cocktails were terrible. The bartender didn't even know how to make such basic drinks as old fashions and Manhattans.

Came here for dinner and beers, menu is simple, Greek inspired, nothing French about it. Good selection of beer, good, clean atmosphere. Ended up stopping in before the football game again the next day at around 1030, was surprised they don't have a breakfast menu. We did a repeat of the previous night, same result. Service was friendly, menu needs to be updated (fries are shoestring and crispy, kind of terrible)

Burgers are awesome! Cooked to order. Salads are great also, as are the salt & pepper wings. Can be noisy during football games as there are multiple TV's that they show the game on. However, I didn't find that to take away from the restaurant, as it is more of a pub type atmosphere.

Eating here tonight, ordered a shrimp po boy. The sandwich would have been good if I could find the shrimp. Only 4 small shrimp on a large bun. Do not order the po boy if you want shrimp. I asked the waitress if they left off some of the shrimp, she responded " no is that an issue"? I said yes it is. I asked to speak with the manager, he said well it's not cheap shrimp so we have to charge 9.99 . He offered me more shrmp but he would have to charge me. No thank you...I just won't return.

If you are a mini you are still aloud to eat at the restaurant, even though it is in a casino. You can’t walk into the restaurant like everyone else, or wait in like because then you would be on the floor that the slot machines were on. I could not step off of the wood floor of the restaurant so therefore while I was waiting to be seated I had to stand because there were no chairs on the side of the floor that I had to stand on.

This place use to have the absolute best seafood night on Friday. I wasn’t even one to particularly like seafood. Now they have moved it to their Bayou Buffet on Friday and Saturday and it’s not anywhere near the level of Golden Corral. Selection is terrible and food is cold and hard. Cost is $25/pp and an extra $15 for crab legs. Seriously do not waste your money here, eat before you head to the casino.

We had a nice experience in our first visit to the establishment. I docked a star because the name suggested to us that this would be some type of French experience. There is nothing French about the place. The food was good and the service was attentive and engaged in conversation with us. Except that there is nothing French going on, it is a nice cozy place.

French quarter salad has the juiciest grilled chicken served on a bed of greens, cucumbers, tomatoes , cheese and croutons. Ask for the home made ranch dressing,. Yum!

When you look at the general architecture and layout of all the little buildings in shops and bars in this part of Charlotte right next to Romare Bearden Park will be of no surprise at this place is called the French quarter. Based on the bustling crowds that you can see hanging out around this bar I think they know how to serve a drink just fine.

This is a lovely place. We came here during the work week for lunch. Fortunately we got here early because by the time we had ordered, the line to get in was out the door. Our server was a very nice woman who had worked there 20+ years and it was apparent that she loved her job and loved her customers. She was elated, in fact, that it was our first visit there so she excitedly explained the menu to us. While we were waiting, a gentleman at a nearby table told us that he was a regular there and made some recommendations. I loved the small town feel of the restaurant how everyone knows everyone and you're greeted with a genuine smile. Food portions were plentiful and I have to say, this was a welcome surprise in the midst of the uptown business center. This is definitely a place I would like to visit whenever I am in uptown for business. Food was seasoned properly and cooked exactly to perfection. The chicken here is to die for. 'Love this place! I can't wait to go back!
