Visiting my sister && we stopped here to eat. The service was great. The hostess (Demetrius & Logan) were very helpful && we were sat quickly. Our server Victor was great very patient. The manager (Caskin) *my spelling is horrible* stopped by to check on us, she was super nice. Overall we will definitely be coming back.

If I could give a lower review, I would. Waited forever for cold, burned food. If you cant handle a party or 8 on what appeared to be a slow night, say something. Service was slow and sloppy with the staff standing around making time with each other rather than helping diners. The fried pickle appetizer was all grease and the entrees were, as mentioned, cold and burned. Be embarrassed, ms manager, your insincere apology helped nothing. Avoid this place!

Food blows and the bartenders know nothing about their beers ... Its so strange bc im a bartendar myself and im excited about my beers especially since this business has so many rotators !! You would think ALL bartenders there would have some knowledge or excitement just in general. Best suggestion is to drink and not worry about customer service here at this establishment. I go to duckwork alot with my friends and we just drink here and go the gyro stand around the corner

Arrived at this establishment at 5pm on a Wednesday evening, was seated promptly and drink orders were taken right away. I thought this was going to be a great evening out, unfortunately that was not the case. Getting our drinks was the last time my table saw our waiter, Frankie, until he dropped off our check. If he had bothered to stop and ask how everything was, I would have told him that after waiting 40 minutes for our food, several items were either missing or under cooked and inedible. I had to stop a woman dressed in a button down and slacks, who I can only assume was a manager, serval times for our missing items. Both the waiter and manager refused to acknowledge the problem nor apologize. Will not be dining here again. Wish I could give ZERO stars.

My experience at Duck Worth Grill and Taphouse was yuck worth. Our server Leo was the rudest person ever. He brought out separate parts of our meals 15 minutes apart. When asked a question he laughed in my friends and my face. Lucky the manager was nice and tried to makeup for the unprofessional staff. I hope no one else ever has him as a server.

Great beer list. A lot of TVs - good place to watch a football game. Decent food - some items (flatbreads, salad, sandwiches) are better than others (nachos, wings, fries). The real issue with this place is horrible service. Every time we have been, the service is incredibly slow. Last time we went, it took 15 minutes to get out drinks which we ordered just as we down. We also had a server come and ask us if food was ours 4-5 times, when it was going to a nearby table. When our food did come out, we literally needed to stop the server and inform him that was for us. Expect slow service, average food, and good drinks.

This place has the best drink specials in the city whether you're carrying out and get a pizza with Growlers or staying in for the half-price wine or $3.50 beers. Who is better than you'd expect for a sports bar and services typically pretty speedy. There are some more TVs in this restaurant than I've ever seen in an eating establishment. The beer list is extensive and there's a number of excellent bottles available as well. Check their daily drink specials and imbibe freely, your wallet will feel good about it.

Absolutely insane beer selection - 150 taps! Probably the most I've ever seen at a location. I asked the bartender and apparently only about 15 or 20 of the handles are staples while all of the others rotate - 130 rotating beers - crazy! And they serve flights which is always an excellent way to try a few brews - imperative when there is that much on! The food coming out of the kitchen looked pretty darn good too, but I only partook of the beer. Next time in Charlotte will definitely skip World of Beer and come here. Of course, I'll probably never find myself in Charlotte again...

Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant wasnt very good. It took over 15 mins for our waitress just to come to our table and that was only after we asked who our server was. A good deal of time after our order was placed, the chef came out to say they only had one prepared baked potato left but he could expedite another if we liked. We asked if that would compromise the taste of potato and he said not necessarily, so we reluctantly agreed. Unfortunately, that didnt work so we were asked what we would like in place of it...after another 15 mins, our food came out only for us to find it was all very cold and the steaks were well done, not med. So we told the server and manager. They then asked what they could do to make us happy. We still wanted to eat so on their suggestion, we waited for them to remake both meals. Another 20 mins passed and food came out again. It was hot this time but steaks were still not cooked correctly. We just decided to go with it because we were tired and hungry. The meals were not charged to us but while I'm thankful for that, I'd rather have had a better meal experience. I feel that I wouldnt recommend this restaurant unless you are going to watch sports on the TVs and drink some beer. Seems that's their forte. We were in that restaurant for 2 1/2 hours.

They have 150 beers on tap and they have The Impossible Burger from Impossible Foods! This is an amazing vegan burger that tastes, smells, and has the same exact texture as beef. I was blown away by it. You would swear it's meat. No one would know its not. I've tried dozens of vegan burgers and this one is insane especially when paired with the soft onion roll. Just make sure to ask for no mayo if you're avoiding eggs. Delicious! Try it even if you're not vegan!

I had a great experience during my trip to Charlotte. I decided to stop in so I could have some Carolina BBQ and local beer and Duckworth's did not disappoint. The pork was well seasoned and they finish it on the flat top so it has certain crispy portions with the moist interior which provides a great contrast of textures. The onion rings, coleslaw and sauce were also tasty. The staff was very friendly at the bar. Kelly and Danielle were taking care of me and they were personable and helpful in choosing beers. The food runner was also kind and helpful. If you are a fan of sports, they have TVs everywhere showcasing various sporting events.

I’m town for my buddy’s bachelor party, and to end our trip, we headed over to Duckworth’s. Great beer selection, fantastic wings (get the sweet n’ bold wings), and our server Lisa was next level! She was amazing. If I ever come back to Charlotte, and need a bar, Duckworth’s is the spot! Lisa is the truth!

April was a great waitress and the food was delicious. The only problem was that the salad portions are really small. Would't hurt to add more lettuce to the plate. The salads at Bad Daddy's are much larger. Lettuce doesn't cost that much! Also the house chips have been changed and aren't that great. The ones at your Ballantyne location were always softer as the ones I had on Saturday were more like nachos. I ate there on Saturday the 21st.

A few friends and I went to Duckworth's because it was the closest restaurant to the apartment we were staying in. Walked in and the atmosphere was pretty cool but few people were there so we got a quick table. Once sitting down we were offered samples of beer but it took forever for us to get our first round. My second round I had to ask for 3 separate times. We also ordered food and we got cheese fries and they came out burnt. The server did offer to get us a new one so we accepted but then I got charged for it! Poor service but this may be just a bad experience in an otherwise nice place. Either way it was first time so it did not leave a good impression. Update: The establishment commented on my review I believe to show the public that they're trying to make up for my bad experience. However, they offered an email for me to reach out personally and then didn't respond. I was at a 2 star now dropped it to 1 because that made me even more upset.

The food was very good! Unfortunately, we waited a long time to get it. I got a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, and it was very good. The chicken was plump and cooked perfectly. It could have used more sauce though. The onion rings gs were fresh and hot, and uncannily similar to Ore-Ida. My daughter got a cheeseburger and said it was delicious. It was served with a heaping handful of French fries that were very good as well. My only complaint is that the service was really slow. There was one very large table there, but otherwise it wasn't too crowded. However, I would most likely come here again.

Such an amazing spot!! Thank you Cameron, you made our outing extra special at the bar. If you're looking for a wowing experience in Uptown, stop in. I recommend making reservations. We had a short wait but grabbed a beer at the bar. While the upper bar selection is fantastic, its worth waiting for the downstairs bar. I was blown away by the drinks, the tapas style food and the service. So worth it.

This place has a nice old tavern feel, the largest beer selection I've ever seen, well over 100 offerings, and the philly style sandwiches are huge and delicious. The while menu is pretty broad offering everything from bbq plates to wings, Mexican style dishes and salads. Price point is around 14-18 per dish, beer is around 6-8 for craft pours and less for mainstream.

This place was great! The atmosphere was just what we were looking for, the staff was friendly and service impeccable. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and my husband had the wings, both which arrived in less than 10 minutes. The manager was making rounds and stopped by a few minutes after the first couple of bites, just in time for me to let him know that the chicken in my sandwich was undercooked. He asked no questions but promptly took it away and returned within another 10 minutes with a new plate, with a sandwich that was cooked perfectly and fries hot off the fryer. They then comped my meal which we did not ask them to do. Great service! Definitely check this place out.

This place has a lot of sitting area (2 sides to sit) Loaded nachos are a lot! 3 ppl can easily share it if not 4. I really liked there innovation for ponchu in case of thunderstorms. Awesome venue for food and beverage! The food is amazing, we had the cheesesteak which was delicious, great steak with cheese and condiments on a roll, also the chicken wings were very good. There are 150 beer taps, local and across the craft beer scene. My wife really liked the wine selection as well. Our bartender was amazing!!! We'll definitely be back! Thank you! Don't forget to walk the Liberty Walk which is about Charlotte's Revolutionary War history.

We chose this restaurant for a friends birthday due to other issues. They were able to accommodate us for a crowd of our size however that’s about the only compliment that I can give them. Our waiters were rude and unaccommodating. They acted as if they did not want to serve us. Some people in our party got their food late and it was a hassle for us to be serviced. No refills were offered nor were we even checked on. If the crowd size was an issue then it should have been stated to us. As far as the food it was not good, fries came out horrible. A couple people had to send their food back. I ordered a drink and the waiter brought me the wrong drink. We just wanted to enjoy ourselves and have a good night, unfortunately it was not here.

I went here for a work function. The food was just okay. I got the salmon salad. The salmon was cooked perfectly but the salad part was not good. The lettuce was brown and some of it was so wilted it was offputting. The rest of the party felt the food was subpar as well. The appetizer menu looked okay. I would probably try again with appetizers and beer, but not entrees.

Kennedy was the very first representative of this establishment that I met. Absolutely phenomenal personality and hosting skills. The food and service were outstanding. Although the cohesiveness between the bartenders and the wait staff left something to be desired. Whenever I went to the bar for an after dinner drink, the wait was still extremely long. Hugo; the acting GM stopped bye my table and inquired after me multiple times. Definitely needed more help behind the counter. Greetings from a "I can't be bothered and everyone around me is annoying" teenager is what we were welcomed with walking into Duckworth's. This guy was the pits however, the rest of the visit was great. Our server, Anthony I think, was superb and on top of things. I have written reviews around other Duckworth's and as far as the food this place is consistent with the rest. The banana pepper rings are our favorite and our go-to. PS. I did let the manager know about the host and she was very apologetic and nice about the situation.

Called ahead of time for a larger group size, said they would put tables together and then when we arrived had not done so. TVs and beer selection is impressive but it didnt matter once our dinner (mostly appetizers!!) took almost 3 hours!!!! Staff had zero sense of urgency, didnt check on us, and basically made it feel like they could care less we were there. Embarrassing for us especially because we were hosting customers from different countries. Overall, was definitely not worth the extremely long, slow wait (with no beer!), for average food and a poor experience. Do not recommend for groups of any size.

We went there for lunch. Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. The waiter was nice enough but not very attentive to our table. Hats off to the chef, my center cut sirloin was delicious and my husband said the philly was good. Our son enjoyed his as well. The appetizers came out in a timely manner and were well prepared. Our daughter raved about the dressing on the Asian salad. We will definitely be back to enjoy again.

Pretty cool vibe inside place, went in to get lunch, they claim their wings are award winning. I’ve been all over the country eating wings and even have gone to the birthplace of buffalo wings ( anchor bar in Buffalo New York) And I want to say I am not impressed. I tried both main styles, they felt overcooked almost burnt, without any man flavor jumping out. We did have their lunch pork sandwich which was pretty adequate with some sweet potato fries. I’d rather recommend that over their wings any day. Don’t take my word for it try them, good luck.

Our first visIt was awesome. So... I suggested to my husband that we go back when we went to the museum. The server we had seemed extremely annoyed that our daughter had a deathly allergy. I informed her of the allergy and asked her to talk to the kitchen. We left because her attitude was so bad. I even talked to the chef/cook and explained the situation. He was great but, the server ruined everything for us already. We didn’t trust that she would make sure our daughter’s food would be safe. We left and went around the corner. I’m so disappointed because the time before the staff was amazing and so kind.

I HIGHLY recommend!! My friend and I took a trip to Charlotte and stumbled upon this place. The abiance is great, food is great, drinks are great. This place is all around GREAT! Thurston & Taylor were the bartenders and took great care of us. The food was AMAZING and the customers service was phenomenal. In addition, our food to a max of 15 minutes to come out. The manager was on the floor making sure the food was to standard. Great job!

Not an inviting atmosphere from the staff food was ok. Not sure if I would go back since I did have a great experience. Please work on customer service and making people feel welcome

Maybe it was our fault for going on the weekend which is probably considered off-peak, but it was a waste of money. Server acted like she definitely didn't want to be there and our food was only slightly better than Wendy's. They have a lot of beers though so if you want a beer selection first, food second this place will probably be just fine for you. Oh and the bathroom was disgusting too.
