I'm being generous giving a 3 star review, only because our drinks were good. Service left much to be desired. We had to keep searching for our waitress. Potion sizes need to be reassessed ASAP. My sides were larger than the sliver of Salmon that I recieved. I've really enjoyed myself at other Duckworth's locations, but this location did not seem on par.

I had the center cut sirloin steak. It was not seasoned and very tough. I can honestly say this is the only time I have not finished a steak at a restaurant. Onion rings were cold and my "smothered" baked potato had a light sprinkle of cheese and bacon bits and tasted like it had been sitting around all day and popped in the microwave for 30 seconds. The restaurant was not busy at all so I don't know how they could have sent out such poor quality food. Huge selection of good beer. If I do go back I will definitely not order food. Very disappointing.

I ate hear a few times and always had a good experience. I really liked coming here for good bar food and a drink. They have ample TV's, so was coming here for games as well. It always felt like you could come here and hang out for a while without getting the feeling that they are trying to get you to eat quick and leave. Recommended for good food, great draft list and a fantastic place to watch a game!

I’ve literally been coming to this establishment for over two years multiple times a week (unfortunately) never have I felt so under appreciated or belittled as I did tonight... Our server was Selena pathetic... We arrived and ordered one single beer and after being there for over an hour Jimmy Baillat told us we weren’t fit to be served any more alcohol? How so? No explanation, no water, drinks offered. Did not even mention an Uber ride after being “deemed unfit to have anymore alcohol”. Literally the worst service I’ve ever experienced from any establishment; let alone one I frequently visit. This place is absolutely pathetic and not the same it was a year ago. I promise you they just lost a ton of business from what I can control. Have a great night at the worst place in Ballantyne!

The atmosphere is what you would expect from a nice appearance of a sport bar. The games were playing for the several sports that are in season. They have well over 50 different types of beer to select from. I did try the impossible burger and found it to be delicious. The large platter of nachos are perfect for sharing with 6 people. The service was average. I would encourage everyone to check it out.

I can only give this place 4 stars due to my first experience in August being horrible. However, last night I decided to give them another try... May I say, I was blown away! Our server was the BEST & the hostess as well! Both were VERY attentive, courteous, professional, & the BEST service I've experienced in awhile!!! I wish I could remember our server's name, but he is bilingual Spanish young guy & deserves a 5 star raise! Thank you both again for making our night Great!

Great sports bar with good food and friendly service. I had a few meals here as it was close to my hotel but the nacho appetizer really stood out. Huge plate that fed two hungry guys after a long day of work. Server was great, attentive but not obtrusive. It wasn't the cheapest place that I've been but decent prices for the area. It sits in a perfect after work spot for several large companies in the area so the added expense is expected but reasonable.

Duckworth's is one of the better bars I've visited with coworkers in South Charlotte this last four months, while I've been in transition - moving to the Ballantyne area. Nice atmosphere, typical prices, and plenty of options to choose from.

Duckworths is an awesome spot. Duckworths is one of those rare places with great food and a huge beer list. Our server last time, Chrystal, gave us excellent beer, cocktail, and food recommendations. We came last month from out of town and are planning another trip to come back during football season (they have televisions everywhere).

One of a thousand identical sports bars complete with the name plaques for the habitual drinkers. Ordered a steak which was alright. Typical dry garlic bread but no mashed potatoes which is a sin in my book. Staff was clearly at the end of their day. Not a bad visit by any means but absolutely nothing to push past three stars.

I have been to this particular location several times, and the level of service has remained consistently perfect. The beer menu is BY FAR the #1 reason to come here. The tablet with all of the beers available on tap and in bottle/can make choosing your beer easy. If you are conflicted, the staff all seem to be beer lovers, and can advise you very well. The food is all as expected and the menu is diverse and everything I have had was tasty! The BBQ is actually better than some BBQ-specific joints in the area. That says a LOT in the south. All in all, if you want a great meal and a great staff, come here!

Bar staff (Preston, with whom I dealt) was very friendly and kept their promises about a gift card offered to make up for the absolutely horrible and disgusting IMPOSSIBLE BURGERS we had ordered. What ever you do avoid these things at all costs, and believe me when you see the price you will know what I mean about cost!! That said, we ordered two meals (bacon, chicken wrap and SW veggie burger) and one appetizer (boneless wings). Absolutely the worst we have ever had, the "wings" were way over deep fat-fried pieces of something that may once have been chicken but all you could really taste was the overdone batter. The veggie burger was indescribable - still trying to figure out just what is was. Both the burger and most of the "wings" went in the GARBAGE the only fitting home for them. The wrap? Well it was sort of okay at first but the lettuce was really wilted and no comparison for wraps from some of their competition. That said, cannot understand the great reviews for the food here. Won't go back.

This was literally the worst burger I've had at a bar in a very long time. It was incredibly overcooked z and my server was nowhere to be found when I tried to inform her about it. I felt bad for the poor guy working as the host, because he literally had to do her job for her. The only reason this gets 1 star is because the host (or possibly bus boy) was helpful. I couldn't even find my server to get my check, so I went to the bartender, who brought up the ticket so I could pay. Just such an awful experience all around.

Since I've only been once, I'll give it three stars and maybe chalk it up to an off night. We went on a Saturday night. Place was dead, very few customers. Our waitress left a lot to be desired. I had to ask her 4 times for a refill on my drink. I finally said to her the last time, "I don't want to have to ask again." Then most of the staff was all grouped together near the doors to the kitchen, seemingly socializing with each other rather than waiting on the tables. I know there weren't that many people but the few that were there were getting the same terrible service we were. Most of the beers my party tried to order they were out of. One of my party ordered a drink and only got half of what she should have and another received a hot beer. Maybe they're a better lunch place than dinner but I'm not all that eager to try this place again.

Excellent service! Management comes to the table, my drink stayed full. My veggie sandwich was made perfect. No bun, grilled veggie patty (crispy outside and flavorful moist center) rest of the condiments to the side. I had a serving of grilled vegetables and sweet tea....I loved it all! My boyfriend had grilled chicken sandwich with bacon w/ brioche bun no cheese. Accompanied w/side of fries. It was thoroughly enjoyed!!

Went for lunch today, food was good besides the wait.. Waiter on the other hand was something else!! horrible service x10! Forgot my drink order, messed up the entree and sides. also forgot my side of french fries. We got our entree and the guy was MIA talking in the kitchen with the staff peaking out at our table, meanwhile our drinks are empty. So still left him a tip of $5 on $100 bill, not high but service was not good at all!! Then this Waiter has the audacity to come outside and give us the BIRD and yell at us..... amazing representation of the restaurant. Never going here again, unfortunately didn't catch his name. But don't have the older guy in buzz cut serve you at this location, pure garbage.

Stopped in to have dinner with friends this evening. I've been here several times before on dates or with large groups from my company. Ordered a beer and the server, young enough to be my daughter, even granddaughter had I had children in my teens, asked for my ID. "Everyone has to show ID" she said. To say the least I was not happy and walked. Fifteen or twenty years ago I might have been flattered knowing damn well that whomever would ask such a question had to know I was over the age of twenty one. I understand there are gray areas (unintended pun) whereby a customer may look younger than they actually are. The jokes on you. I'm notoriously generous with tipping. Not only didn't you earn my business tonight, but I'll never spend another dollar at any Duckworth's. Management should rethink such a ridiculous policy. Perhaps I should have asked her for her ID as she certainly didn't look old enough to be serving alcohol.

Great Spot for good beer and wings. I read some of the less flattering reviews and was cautious but the Wings were amazing and in my top 3. I know a few people who own Restaurant's and these were above your average wing joint's. This isn't a Luxury High Scale Restaurant so as long as your expectations are on par with reality you'll enjoy coming here.

Would be 4 to 5 stars if based solely on food quality, service, and beer selection. However, because this is a beer bar and their iPads SUCK, it is more of a 1-2 kinda place. A piece of 3¢ printer paper would be better in the following ways: * I could scan down vertically looking at ABVs ... Meaning I wouldn't have to click on each individual beer (+1 more click back to list) to find out... 200 clicks for 100 beers. * I wouldn't be frustrated by my paper freezing on me * I wouldn't be blinded by my paper Honestly, the iPad is a great idea poorly implemented. Wasted potential. When I shopped for Ethernet cables online in 2005 I could filter by length, color, category, etc. Today I could go shopping for toilet plungers and sort by length, color, price, scent, etc. Ditch the app, donate the iPads to local underprivileged schools, buy a printer and get back to what you know.

Hands down the best place even late night for a hot plate with great service. Lonnie was our server and she exceeded service in order accuracy and attentiveness. I have posted a mid and end photo to show how delicious the hand crafted party was and all the toppings were crisp and fresh. The hand cut fries were delicious and the food did not disappoint.

It started out great with the seating lady and went down hill from there. We had the worst server ever. She never smiled and did not listen to our requests. It took forever to get our order and I never did receive my tea. We waited 30 minutes for our salad and at that point we decided to refuse our order and pay for our drinks and leave. The manager wanted to pay for our drinks but I refused. I told her that I did not want anything free as all we wanted was good service. We will not return to this location ever!!!!

Clean. Nice atmosphere. I do miss the Cobb salad that they took off the menu. They replaced it with a "build-your-own" salad, but they don't have all of the usual Cobb salad items available on the list of things you can request. Bummer. That was my favorite meal to order at lunch.

Tons of beer on tap. The food is mostly standard bar food, but it's all excellent. The wings and cheese steaks in particular are fantastic. Very friendly staff. They give you a survey with your bill and if you fill it out they actually make changes based on your feedback. This is easily my favorite place to go get lunch if I feel like having a beer or two.

First impressions: great location, friendly staff as we walked in, inviting atmosphere. Sports bar tastefully done. Our hostess seated us in a booth and we told her it was our first time there. She told us the specials and what Duckworth's is famous for (boneless chicken wings). She was very friendly and outgoing. Our server comes by and takes our order a bit later. Nothing spectacular about the service he offered us. He did his job but seemed to lack some enthusiasm (the hostess spoiled us haha). Order was taken and it we received our appetizers and orders in a timely manner. No real complaints, as everything was served properly. However, he should have come by and asked if everything was okay since "they" knew it was our first time here. Food was excellent, and there was a wide variety of beers to be had. When asked for suggestions for local breweries on the menu, I was greeted with a blank stare. Woops... Overall not a bad experience, but this seems to be the kind of restaurant more used to catering to people who don't need much help finding their way around the menu. I would give it 3.5 stars instead of 4 just for those reasons, but certainly deserves better than a 3. We would return again, and try something else on the menu. PS...try their cheese cake!

I liked this place.Friendly staff.however none of our food was served hot tho,kinda bumbed about that.In fact the inside of my side loaded potatoe was ice cold,i did send it back and they took care of it for me with no problems in a timely manner.food is bar food but great flavors.Just an overall great atmosphere excellent for ;drinks laughs chit chat hang out and eat.

Fabulous experience! Had a Team dinner for my daughters lacrosse team. The staff was organized and attentive, especially considering the large group we had. Parents and girls were pleased with the food and service. Kudos to GM Jeffrey and his staff, especially Chrystal and Erin. You all rock!

They just introduced some major changes to the menu, and it's a huge move in the right direction. The burgers are juicy now, with a ton of options. It looks like the chicken tenders are worth ordering, as they're now hand breaded. I'm happy to see the fish and chips a permanent menu item, try ordering them in a wrap with coleslaw, also in the wrap! Don't order burgers off the menu, aside from the chorizo and impossible it's $.50 to $1.50 cheaper to build it yourself. I hope they work on beer pricing next, price and glass size seem arbitrary. Some very good beers sit for months and are wasted because they're so overpriced.
