Great food, sides are really good. I suggest getting the Street Corn Casserole and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. The chicken is very tender, to the point of being able to be pulled right off the bone. The skin has a unique and flavorful taste but the only issue is there isn't much flavor in the chicken. It's been marinated for 24 hours but the flavor is sub-par. The skin makes up for part of that, but the chicken at the middle still doesn't have much flavor. Other than that, everything else is great. It's not as expensive as I thought it would be; feeding 3 people for $25.

Went here with a friend after work for just a few drinks and a bite to eat. I ordered the half stuffed avocado with chicken and she got the bueno bowl. Both were absolutely delicious and the waitress was fun, nice, and knocked it out the park with the recommendations. Definitely go back here again and highly recommend it.

The wife and I were happy with this place. Was a little expensive for what was offered. But the atmosphere upstairs made up for it. Would def go back again. The area surrounding is nice to have a night out and hop around.

I was interested in trying this place out so I was excited when we scheduled a team lunch there. We were there on a Wednesday for lunch and the restaurant was almost completely empty. It's fast casual, so you order at the counter, take a number, find a seat, and wait for your food to be brought out to you. Our food was ready pretty quickly. I got the Fresco Bowl. I loved it. The chicken was really juicy and flavorful and all of the flavors in the bowl blended well together. My only complaint is that it was pretty small and I was still hungry after finishing it. I also got over of their house made lemonades which I thought was just ok. Mine didn't come with a side, but my coworker thought his quinoa with vegetables was too garlicky, so he let me try it. I completely agreed. I love garlic, but I couldn't eat it because it had so much garlic in it that you couldn't taste anything else. They were really nice when my manager complained about it and let him replace it with the street corn casserole. I tried some of that and it was delicious. I would absolutely recommend trying this place if you haven't already! I'll definitely be back again.

Best wings in Charlotte! The sides are fantastic, they have awesome staff and service, the sauces are really tasty and the place is well decorated and clean. Great beer selection, and an attentive bar tender upstairs too. The 75 cent wing special on Monday will have me back for char-wings often!

We've been here three or so times. Awesome atmosphere, exactly what you expect in Plaza. Definitely perfect for casual eating during the week or lunch. The staff is always spot on and helpful for dietary preferences. Their grain bowl was fabulously comforting. We'll be back!

Went in for brunch and had a gift card mishap, the manager was very nice and handled it no problem, not sure his name but coaltranes is always a nice time and today especially showed me there are good managers who care about the guest!!

Awesome quality and delicious food. I ordered the Choripan sandwich and it was an instant favorite. Their food is simple with few ingredients but the flavor is phenomenal. All three of their sauces are a must try and the stuffed avocado is to die for. I would highly recommend everyone to try coaltranes.

The food is pretty good and they have a nice rooftop. During our last visit this week, our order was messed up and we were overcharged. Mistakes happen, but when I mentioned it to our server, she made little effort to understand it and fix it. I figured she was going back to to the register to confirm the mistake, but she never returned. The place wasn't busy at the time. I didn't go back to push the issue over $8, but I'm deducting a couple stars from my review over it.

This place is a hidden gem. Great food (wings are the only thing I wouldn’t recommend- most people like them but there’s a bit too much skin for me). $3 craft beers and music karaoke upstairs on Friday night, which is always a good time. The upstairs has a rooftop bar. Great for starting a night out in Plaza.

I really enjoyed my salad, but the wings were just okay. Great roof top patio and live music on Sunday morning. Update: We visited again for lunch and they ran out of wings. Fine. But they still charged us for the extra wings we didn't receive and two of the wings we did get where just half wings. All of them where almost too salty to eat.

Came for their grand opening. Door was amazing. Had the Fresco bowl with pulled chicken, everything was fresh and tasty. Great environment and were open to suggestions as my girlfriend has a lot of allergies the were more than willing to work around it. Also looking to keep evolving as time goes. Great service by Kenny but the star was the food. My stuffed avocado was very good, I chose it with a chimichurri sauce, delicious. My hubby had a chicken sandwich converted to wrap , the gaucho, that was tasty. But the corn dish was marvelous. I don't like very sweet stuff and that was dessert for me. The black beans were very good also. We tried the tres leches dessert, while it was not made in house it was a very decent show of this type. We ate on the roof, which is covered and cozy, although not much of a view. We will be back.

I went on the faith of a friend. I WON'T be back. I ordered 1/2 chicken and 2 sides. The chicken was charcoal burnt no flavor , i wanted the Rotisserie flavor i was sadly mistaken.. The corn casserole was dried out i will give it to them the mash potatoes were the only good thing i had. I was very disappointed. I was starving. Lol

I ordered stuffed Avocado with no cheese over the phone, not knowing the sauce that came with it was dairy base. I had someone call to make sure I wasn't allergic to anything dairy. I am lactose intolerant, so of course I cannot have anything dairy. I was sharing this app with my friend who is vegan and we were both so thankful that they called us back to make sure everything was perfect. The little things in life. They also have some of the best food in Plaza.

Very natural and wholesome tasting. This is the quarter white meat chicken with sides of stuffed avacado and chopped salad. I had to take some chicken home with me from my lunch which was only 8.95. Sue was my server and she told me about their weekly specials. I sat upstairs on the outside patio and enjoyed the weather.
