Lost Memories

Steaming hot chicken till the last bite! I took it home to eat, about 45 minutes away...thought had to reheat it when I did get home but it turn out the chicken was still steaming hot! The chicken fell a part when you bite in to it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!! Some of the best chicken I have ever had. Best flavors and a large portionfor a sandwich. Can't wait to try other items on the menu!

I'm totally biased when it comes to this place . It's an older building with a simple, old fashioned layout and quick window service. As for me, my grandfather used to own the car wash nearby and I came here with him as a little girl . It's still the same. The value is great. They still treat us like family. The bathroom is always clean.

Friendly staff, although service was slow. Kind of mixed on my review...food was slow to come out (10 mins drive thru) but I was told it was made to order. Chicken strips did look like they were the frozen...precooked/refried strips...that should be a plus...and it is when you dont have hungry kids waiting to eat and you go thru the drive thru for faster service. Food was still good and wasnt too pricey. I've been going here since I was a small girl and will continue to take my children

This place has amazing milkshakes but goodness the prices have gone up. It's still worth it but the prices used to be a lot cheaper back in the 2000s. This is mainly a good spot for hotdogs and quick burgers. Overall if you're willing to spend around 20 bucks for food the you shouldn't be disappointed but the burgers here look good and I would say the seating inside is very primitive but can feel almost like a fair for people.

This place needs a serious make over! I would not come back for this food. I do Not reccomend the burgers at all. My husband says the philly cheese steak and beef dogs are good though. Be careful getting anything with fruit as the guy told me it stays so hot the fruit spoils quickly and easily. I got a blueberry shake and it tasted like someone poured in nail polish remover. Straight chemicals. It was disgusting.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The cashier had a very bad attitude and was snappy with my wife when she was asked questions regarding what options are available on a philly cheese steak. She also wreaked of stale cigarettes...we realized why as when we left she was literally putting out a cigarette butt as she was lighting another one. Food subpar but that's expected given the equipment they have to cook and the professional the profit margin they have to meet as compared to cost of quality ingredients and/products...the service freaking sucked and that's what should be excellent at a "family friendly fast food" restaurant. Never will go back...ever. Stay away people not worth your time or effort.

Cashier was very rude. She was a older white lady. Every question I asked, she seemed to have a problem answering it. Then I was also charged .45 each for additional toppings like lettuce and tomato. When I ordered a double cheese burger combo. The chicken also was nasty and soggy. I’m very disappointed in the food and service at this location. The a/c was on the whole time we were freezing as we where eating.

Typical burger joint, 50's feel. But always a great staff!! Never had a wrong order. Very personable. Best ever was seeing a sign posted that if you are a family in need or a homeless person.... they will serve you a hot, free meal on Thanksgiving. That is based off of donations and the owners pocket only. That is worth my business!! Taking care of the public. Taking care of your people. That is the root of customer service, karma, whatever you call it... right there. Phenomenal!!

Good burgers but showing signs of age. I generally use the drive thru so I don't have to go inside. The burger has a lot of optional toppings and has always been juicy and good. The fries have always been fresh and hot.

Its been years since my last time here and its in dire need of a make over and a shot of penicillin. Its old and becoming run down. Half the tables had not been wiped down or cleaned. Kitchen floor was dirty with stuff that came off the grill or fryer. Our cheese burger was over cooked and dry,and hotdog was under cooked??? Don't get that one.. The owners just need to invest back in the business and bring some life and cleanliness to the place.But will say they do a nice thanksgiving dinner for the community each year and its a great thing they do.

Old school fast food joint. I've only ever been through the drive through, so can't speak to the interior seating situation. The staff has always been very friendly and fast when I visit. My favorite menu item is a chocolate dipped ice cream cone, reminds me of my childhood, and it's only a couple bucks!

i was a fan of a place called circus in Cary N.C. which unfortunately went out of business years back so when I recently looked up circus I was surprised to see that there was a place in Raleigh with the same name same style and same food so I was excited thinking that this might be there sister restaurant or maybe had something to do with the old Cary store unfortunately this is not the case i waited a while for someone to come to the window and ask me what I wanted and once I ordered I wanted to ask them if they were related to the old one in Cary but staff was very rude when I asked about it and didn’t seem to want to give me a quick yes or no answers. With that said the food wasn’t that bad it was ok but the staff needs a additude check cause it’s really poor and rude service

Went in with 2 brand new Groupon vouchers for $10 each that says, "limit 1 (coupon voucher) per person per visit", but my young boys were not considered a "person" according to the owner. I asked the cashier, Teresa Fisher, at what age is someone considered a "person" and she didn't answer. I explained that I lived an hour away and was not coming back anytime soon, but she didn't care. I came up with another solution that I could leave and come right back to signify another "visit" so they would honor the both vouchers. This is an absolutely ridiculous reason to argue with a customer and ultimately lose business. When I lived in Raleigh I went to this place quite often, it sure has gone down hill over the years.

It's pretty old and dirty in here but the service was nice, everyone was friendly. The food is nothing special (was going to get a cheese steak but they don't have mushrooms or Bell peppers for them so I got a burger) but it's super cheap so if you go into it knowing it's mediocre and cheap you won't be disappointed in it.

This is a one of a kind Restaurant. It's small, out of the way, but the prices are great. The staff is friendly. It does get busy, so come early. Plenty of parking.

It took me so long to actually stop by Circus. It's dated, it's old and it's fantastic. All these attributes pair well with great onion rings and the burgers are the best you're going to get at these low prices. Skip McDonalds and other fast food - Circus wins.

AWFUL FOOD!! Only reason giving 1 star is the milkshakes which were awesome. Threw away my son's hamburger--not worthy to even feed to my dog, as well as the hot dog--crap, crap, crap. Waste of money. Spent $26.00 for some expensive milkshakes. Got voucher from Groupon--reviews were good so thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, I have another Groupon voucher to use--thank goodness the milkshakes were good and worth going back to use the voucher. The guy who took our order was friendly but the woman working with him was a sad looking individual. No smile, no thank, no nothing--clearly she "Loves" her job.

My first time at circus got 2 footings at $1.99 each she told my total was $4.31 when I hand her my card she asked me if I wanted a receipt...strange... I said yes to my surprise I had been charged an extra .59 cent when I asked the guy who handed me my food he told me see thst none cash adjustment we charge extra for using a credit card.... WHAT!!!! THEN WHY NOT DISCLOSE THAT BEFORE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY... I'm sick of these cheating business in this area!!!

Circus is a good old fashioned diner, complete with a variety of greasy, delicious food. The place is a bit old and worn, but if you’re looking for a quick bite, it can’t be beat. A bit pricier than you might expect, but it’s just delicious and well worth it. Navigating in and out of the parking lot can be a hassle because of its location, heads up, but it’s not as bad as it first looks.

Chalk it up to almost closing on Sunday... A group of us were playing Pokemon Go and visited this location as it has a Gym on its property. We decided to get shakes since they were half off and a few of us got food. To be fair we were about 15 people and it looked like they just served a family of 5. At any rate, the staff must have been on their last leg as the wife's shake was more like strawberry milk it was so loose and my shake came up without the chocolate chips. I wasn't so worried about my order being wrong as I knew had a line, were pressed for time and it didn't really bother me much. I also had a lackluster chicken sandwich, as in Cook-Outs is much better. Queue time for our group to leave and we noticed the manager had locked all of us in. Thought it was against fire code to lock 20+ customers inside a building but what do I know. The manager had to stop processing food and come around to unlock the doors for us to leave. I can say that the few times I have even passed by this spot was related to Pokemon Go. I can also say that I won't be bothering to eat there again. It wasn't all bad as the person who took our order was friendly enough and price for two shakes and a sandwhich was only $7.

Most of the time I want to try to eat healthy. Then there are those times when I want to be bad. Eat as many calories as I can and look for something to fit a certain craving. Circus Burger is what it is. Cheap, greasy, fried and cheap. The food and the establishment aren't much to look at but you don't go to this place for the ambiance. They have daily specials and probably their best is the $1.99 Double Burger on Wed. The burger is char-grilled and the fries are thin and crunchy. Circus has other options like hotdogs, cheesesteaks and fried chicken. Not much for vegetarians but the place is called Circus BURGER. The best secret about this place is its shakes. They are phenomenal. Especially on a hot summer day. I usually get a chocolate/strawberry but they had a really good peach one once. I think the flavors change all the time. If you're in the area and want something cheap check out Circus Burger. You can feed the whole family for under $20.
