This was my first time here! I normally go to Circle G. I walked in wanting grits I look at the menu they have what is exactly what I get at my other favorite spot or so I thought till my order was given to me. I order the breakfast special 2 eggs sausage patties hash browns. I added cheese to both eggs and hash browns. First off why did you put parchment paper on top of melted cheese? Why did you mush my hash browns into the smallest part of the tray? Why are my egg's sweet?? No butter was given for the toast . Only place I've seen with the eggs, your choice of meat and hash browns your choice of bread that didn't include the grits! As a first time experience this wasn't a great one. I was going to return even after not getting what I really wanted till I really ate what I've paid for which I didn't even eat all of it. So there goes my money and my experience.

The receptionist was so very friendly. I ordered two take out dinners for me and my honey. We got the Meatloaf & the Hamburger Steak. The food was delicious! We will definitely be back!

This was my first time here. The food was very good and the service was on point. I think they close everyday around 3 but they have a nice selection on the menu. Give them a try if your in West Charlotte. I will be back.

We saw this place on our way to our hotel from the airport. This place is awesome. The lunch was great, we had the blackened tilapia and the BLT sandwich. They were both great. We came back for breakfast the next day because we figured it would be good. It did not disappoint. Eggs, bacon, sausage, homemade biscuits(out of this world), and pancakes. They were all really good! The waitresses and owner/cook/waitress were friendly and attentive. Wish this was in my neighborhood back home!

It has a cozy feel to it. But it's location is in a low income area full of African Americans! But when I have visited it just feels like they accept but don't prefer people of color. Even a customer refused to smile back when I was entering and she was leaving. The food and drinks are ok but nothing amazing! Being from Jamaica and proud of my heritage. I pay attention to details. Especially since moving to the south! Makes me sad honestly! I've been here about twelve times wanting a more positive experience because they're close to my hotel. Since I arrived in the south racism has jumped out at numerous places!

Ladies restroom needs a little attention SERVICE: I over heard waitress and cook arguing about my order where waitress initially blamed me... which was not true..she later admitted it was her error.. By this time I was annoyed, ready to go and did not want my food!!! PRICE: very reasonable I will try this place one more time cause the food was good... But if the staff/owners can't be conscientious of the volume of their voices I will not return

My husband loved his hot dogs. Prices are very reasonable. I even loved my lima beans. Not everybody can get those right. We will be back!

My family and I had lunch at Carolina restaurant today. The food was excellent. Coming from California with all the chain restaurants it was nice to go to a place with home cooked food. The customer service was fantastic and everyone was very friendly. Very welcoming. We will be coming back.

I had the chicken tips over rice with gravy and it could just be because it wasn't what I was expecting but I didn't like the flavor at all. The rice was good but the gravy didn't suit my palate! I had black eyed peas and fried okra, and they were both fantastic. I will definitely give them another try and just not get the chicken tips LOL!

Fantastic little restaurant! Just happen to be working just down the street from this place for 3 days and went for lunch each day. Ordered three completely different meals each day and all were delivered quick, hot, accurate and very satisfying. Extremely friendly and attentive service and a tremendous selection of food to choose from to satisfy most any craving(Love the meatloaf!). If you like a large variety of home cooked style food, this is your place. Check it out!

Unassuming local spot that has great food and very friendly staff. I ordered a "Carnivore Burger" (not on the menu, but basically a triple cheeseburger with no bun, with bacon and a friend egg on top) and it was absolutely delicious. This is definitely one of my go-to spots.

A little mom and pop restaurant that has been there forever. I've been going there since I was a kid. Food is always consistent. Waitress is always friendly and talkative. The place is usually quiet if you go for supper. Newly painted inside and out. I believe that the daughter has taken it over from her dad. Fairly unassuming from the outside but the food is always *really* good. Country cooking. Their homemade vegetable soup is always yummy. Vegetable plates here have always tasted like home.
