Solid place to get a bite to eat and have a beer. The beer list is indeed great as the name suggests. They have a good selection of local breweries, as well as others. The menu has a bit of everything and from what I have tried it is all pretty decent. It gets a bit loud when the restaurant gets full, so it can be hard to hold a conversation at times.

So here's the thing about this place, the menu seems like your average draft house, good food, ok service. What bothers me is that inside of the place. When you see the building from the outside it looks like it's going to be a really nice place , then you walk in and it's like this dark, musty restaurant. There's this nasty carpet and the booths and seating looks like it's from the nineties.it even smells like old beer. Can you guys please revamp your place to make it look more modern? I guarantee more people would wanna hang out there. Update the bar with a cool slab of stone , nice pendant lighting, redo the floors and tables. BOOM- more customers.

I go to Bass Lake for girls night out occasionally! We have been for trivia night, which is always fun! When the weather is nice we go sit out on the patio. Some of us eat, some just buy a few drinks. I typically get the caesar salad with chicken, but everything that the others get always looks great! One thing we ALWAYS get, and are an absolute favorite...... fried pickle chips. I had never heard of these until we moved here and Bass Lake's were the first that I have had. I have tried others, but none of them compare. They are odd... but delicious! You must try them!! Anyways, its a great place to go hang out for while and get a few drinks, or a place to go for a casual dinner... or a place to go to celebrate a special dinner. We have been many times, and will continue to go!

My first time there I ordered the jalapeno popper burger with cucumber tomato and feta salad and everything was delicious. I got lucky and came on draft day so draft beer was like half price, and since I'm from Durham I had to go with the fullsteam videri gold and it was also delicious. I ate at the bar and the bartender was very nice and respectful, and also my glass was never empty before she came and asked if I wanted more, that is very important to me.

Tried this place for lunch and the food was ok but nothing special. Salad had chewy croutons which was kind of a turn off. Beer select is solid as you would expect from the name. Service was good and it was fairly clean in there. The big issue for the draft house is there are several places nearby doing the same thing but doing it better...like my way Tavern.

Usually fairly good. They have a good rotation of standard pub fair that they change up regularly. Good beer selection. Service can be spotty at times. Last time we were there it took 15 minutes to talk to the waiter the first time. 20 minutes to drinks and we had our two small children. They were not happy by that point.

I was surprised at how good the food was the first time I ate here, the atmosphere is nice but I was thinking "oh, another sports bar." Not when it comes to the food! The beer selection is pretty good, and I've never had a bad service experience either. But it's the food that makes me want to come back, it's not just burgers and fries they actually put a little thought into flavor combinations. And it's a family-friendly place too. Love it!

They forgot we were at the table. It was along time before a server realize we have not been asked for drinks. But she was not our server so we waited again for another server. This place need adult supervision. Too much horse play in front of customers. Too many staff on group smoke breaks. Bathroom also needed attention. What about the food !!! It was great and the only reason we stayed.

First time here. The kitchen appears dirty and tonight was very slow despite lack of customers. Not sure if they were trying to clean in advance of closing but it literally took at least 25 min for our sandwich with fries, and chicken bites with tater tots to come out and when it did it was cold and the order wasn't right. I was starving by that time so I just ate. But my guest asked for the cold food to be taken off and it was. Not sure why servers think it's cool not to write down orders. This irks me because ya know it'll probably come out wrong. Why not just write it down? We really don't mind, in fact, its preferred. Too many negatives, the kitchen being dirty is the kicker, we'll pass.

My family and friends ate here on Mother's Day. The wait wasn't too long and benches were provided. We all ordered off the Brunch Menu and most of us ordered the cream cheese french toast because my daughter raved about it. She was right. It was really good as was the bacon, sausage , and eggs. All together just great! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Horrible. Ruben has zero thousand island. The meat was cut way too thick and not near enough... chunks of meat. Children’s menu was non-existent and we had to make up our own. Our waitress never asked us for refills and rushed us the entire time. From our ordering to throwing our food at us. Also, no red oak on tap. We won’t be back!

One star for the food, excellent large variety of foods, a second for the atmosphere, but I have to say, something about the staff makes me feel as if I, a paying customer, is bothersome. Our service was Ok, just felt like The server had somewhere more important to be. I’ve witnessed one waitress specifically blonde hair, a bit heavy set I think her name was jess be very rude, swearing, sitting at the bar on the clock, have a tone with coworkers, which makes me think there’s a lot of negative comments and discussions that happen between coworkers.which is not good, they should come off as a family. I don’t know the details but I witnessed her yell with a hostess, couldn’t believe my eyes. The staff should be happy to be there, they are a big part of carrying a successful business. Ive worked in resturants before and my general manager is where we got our spirit from, if he was happy to be there and provide the best service we were too. guest perspective was always kept in mind and inforced. and there needs came before ours always. hope this helps.

We've been going to Bass Lake Draft House since it opened. We've recently moved to Garner and we still drive to Holly Springs to get the best burgers and those scrumptious fries. The service is fast and courteous even when it's a busy Friday night. It's casual family pub that combines some great beers on tap with fabulous food at a great value. As for me their burgers can't be beat, but of course, there is a little something for everyone if you don't feel like BEEF. See you at Bass Lake Draft House this Friday!

We have enjoyed many dinners at Bass Lake Draft House before tonight. However, our experience tonight was far from what we had enjoyed before. We started by ordering the pub pretzels as an appetize- which came to the table cold. Not to mention they charge $10.30 for four pretzels- which is outrageous! When our meal came out it included a tasteless chicken breast which was suppose to have cheese and bacon on it. There was a thin layer of melted cheese on about half the the breast with a few pieces of fatty bacon bits. The potatoes were absolutely disgusting and the vegatable of the day was a corn, pea, carrot mix which appeared to be old freezer burnt frozen vegatable that were barely cooked. After sharing our concerns about our experience this evening, the manager did not even come out to speak with us. As a previous customer prior to this evening, I would recommend Bake Lake Draft House to friends. However, now I will highly discourage all friends, family and other Holly Springs residence and visitors to not waste their time or money at Bass Lake Draft House.

The food was fantastic. We got the French dip sandwich and the chicken quesadilla. Only reason I didn't give higher stars is because of 2 things: when we arrived, we weren't acknowledged at the host stand for a solid 5 minutes. When we finally we're, the young man was the most unenthused ever. Didn't smile. He acted as if he'd rather have been anywhere else in the world. The second thing was that our waitress only came over to us when we had to flag her down. We waited over 10-15 minutes for tea refills when she had walked by us for other tables numerous times. She was very nice, just not very attentive. Even though the above two things occurred, we will most likely try it again in the future, as the food was really great. A little better customer service training wouldn't hurt, though.

I had really high expectations for this place because I have heard such great reviews! However, our experience last weekend was sub par. We ordered the rib eye, meatloaf, and smokehouse chicken - The rib eye was charred w/no seasoning (supposed to be cooked medium +), the sides were cold, and the food just wasn't flavorful. We told the waitress that we disliked our food, but there was no followup from a manager. Once the bill was paid (with cash) we realized the waitress had shorted us on the change. Overall it just wasn't a great experience and the food was expensive for the quality of food we ordered. This was our first experience at the restaurant and it was disappointing.

After seeing some of the recent reviews, I had to update (or maybe reaffirm) my earlier review. This Is one of the best places around here. I have been to a number of Brew Pubs in the area, but Bass Lake is still my favorite. We have never had a bad meal here, the food has always been served promptly and hot. The Service is excellent. and the wait staff are always friendly and eager to assist in any way they can. As I said before, great food, great beer selection, friendly staff! This is a great family friendly restaurant. The menu choices are fantastic, and there is a wonderful (and changing) selection of local draft beers. The salads, burgers and sandwiches are amazing, and their weekly specials are always a great choice. This is our go-to restaurant when we want a casual meal.

We usually sit in the bar at Bass Lake to watch football, and the bartenders are great. They remember our names, the team we cheer for, and usually our beer order! Food is great with a lot of variety - much better than typical bar food - and the beer selection has something for everyone. Wish they would bring back the baby back ribs and have a better beer special on Sundays. Other than that, we love this place!

It's a typical bar with pretty decent food. Their sanitation score was better than most of the restaurants in Holly Springs so they have that going for them. Customer service was pretty good which was nice since my company took us there for a going away celebration for a co worker. I would go back more often if I lived in Holly Springs but for those of you who do this is a nice spot to check out. Highlight was the Mexitots as an appetizer.

As part of a Meetup group event, I went to Bass Lake Draft House for their Tuesday Night Team Trivia. The Trivia DJ was pleasant; the questions were challenging (but not impossible); the music was fun; and the food and beverages were reasonably priced. Some places that offer Pub Trivia (or Music Bingo) play deafeningly loud music, such that guests at the same table must shout to be heard, and read each other's lips in a futile attempt to be understood. But at Bass Lake Drafthouse, the music was set at a decent volume suitable not only for Pub Trivia but for people getting to know each other. My teammates and I were easily able to think, brainstorm, and rationally discuss our answers prior to submitting them. We came in a respectable 3rd place and I felt as if I may have made some new friends! It was a great night at Bass Lake Draft House and I definitely plan to return!

Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner, this place has some great food. The beer selection is fantastic, filled with lots of NC craft beers and rotating taps. It's a place that our family comes back to frequently. Our kids love the chocolate chip pancakes for brunch (until 1pm on weekends!).

Thursday night special. 11 and 16 oz beer priced $6.75 or lower for $3.50. I ordered based on that criteria. When my bill came I was charged full price. I brought it to my servers attention who brought it to the manager. Manager argued it was this particular brand and when I pressed my point walked away and I was charged full price for an advertised special. Very rude and now they gets this crappy review over $6. Any other respectable establishment would of ate the cost to keep the customer. Will never rerun oye recommend this place to anyone

The service was excellent but the food was subpar. Even for bar food, it was not good. We ordered nachos as an appetizer, and there was no sauce or any salsa but just a tiny scoop of pico with a pump of bar cheese. Lame. Tacos for dinner and same thing - dry and no flavor. Disappointed and won’t be back. OH and the floor was so sticky our shoes stuck to the carpet. Yuck.

It had plenty of parking and almost no patrons so seating was a breeze. The waitress was nice enough. She customized our order to give us just what we wanted without making it painful. She checked on our frequently and made sure our drunks were topped off and the food was to our satisfaction. The brunch menu isn't overly elaborate. It doesn't have to be. I created my own omelet with plenty of choices for ingredients. It was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were spot on and the toast was yummy. Buyers beware - if you are a coffee snob (why, yes that's me) bring it with you, go for some juice or tea, or get it later. It's not worth the emotional trauma. Please switch the coffee to something that can't plug a tire.

Great local bar with a good selection of craft beers and drinks. Plenty of football on the weekends and still a family friendly place. We like to bring the dogs to the outside porch on nice days and the staff takes great care of them (they pay more attention the the mutts than me). Never overly crowded and always a good mix of people.

I've been here a few times and just never really enjoyed my food. It's not bad it's just never been something I can't wait to come back and order again. A lot of ppl really like this place, and I really want to like it but I just don't. The service is usually good so I recommend checking it out for yourself, maybe you will like the food.

Been going to this place for years. Lots of domestic and local beers. Great food. and friendly staff. My favorite dish is a chicken sandwich with a pineapple salsa. I get it paired with sweet potato waffle fries. Ohhh so good. The chicken is tender and the roll is toasted, light and fluffy. The sweetness of the pineapple on the sandwich and the sweet potato fries are just heaven.

First time going, the OMG Chicken sandwich was bland, chips were soggy and lukewarm. Grilled cheese wasn’t melted. The manager didn’t make me pay for the food and apologized which was sweet. For the money, ill be going to Mason Jar Tavern.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered, the restaurant was very clean and the service was great. If you like 'Tavern' style food, you will enjoy your meal. I had the Reuben and my wife had the Chipotle Chicken Stacker. Recommend BOTH and can't wait to try new items and discover new favorites.

I have been coming here for fifteen years, there have been undulations in quality over that time. It is great most of the time and right now it is on point. If you like heat try the chicken wings or bites in reaper sauce.
