I want to like this place but I can see why it's not very busy. The chicken came out raw so had to send it back, but the food is so damn bland, you're better off eating air. I think this place tries to do Japanese/Korean/Thai in one place, but it doesn't work. Stick to one thing and do that well.

I'm from Boston and my favorite restaurant is Wagamama. When I went to NY, I was so excited to find that they had a location within walking distance of my hotel. At first, I was skeptical that the food wouldn't taste the same but it did. Food was great and service was great. Our waiter continously checked on us and made sure everything was good. Definitely will be coming back on all my future trips to NY.

Really nice and busy place. The staff really makes you feel appreciated and cared for. We had a mixup with our order and they made it up and made sure were overlooked this hiccup, which we did. I had a really pleasant and tasty dinner with my friend. Definitely place i recommend to visit and i am sure you will come back.

Amazing place just by the park. I'd recommend sitting either inside or by the window or the bar. Udon entrees are delicious. Juices are great! I tried the lemon tart, next time wanna try the Matcha cheesecake and then chocolate layer cake. They all look so yumm.. Awesome dine-out place. We were a group of 5 and had booked high rise seating, we were seated next to the open kitchen which was a new experience. Relaxing and clean ambience, awesome top class service and delicious food. Ordered chilli chicken ramen, the vegan ramen bowl, firecracker chicken & shrimp and a curry bowl. The chilli chicken ramen sooo yumm and the broth was bursting with flavors and soul-warming. They also have a fantastic drinks menu with craft beers. Will definitely recommend and waiting to go back again!! Kudo to Wagamama team!!

An absolutely delicious dining experience. They have a great menu selection with a diversity of options. I went with the steak bulgogi teppanyaki, which was perfectly made in every way. I also tried their tuna tartare and Korean bbq beef and red onion bao (pictured). I definitely need to keep coming back and trying their other options. Also, there's an abundance of seating and a candle-lit vibe all around!

Service, concept and food on point. Not your typical sit down take your order type of restaurant. Service is prompt, concept is modern and well thought out. Food is beyond what was expected, fast, hot tasty and full of flavors.

The manager is a very kind lady and one of the best i have seen. I asked her to recommend a dish to my taste and explained how i needed it. She recommended a dish that is not in the menu and it was simply amazing. Food here at this restaurant is in general good and with the customer obsession this manager showed, it surely makes this place one among the best. Highly recommend it!!!

They said they can take the scallion and onions out of the soup and not put it in but when the soup came it was full of it...I go to a bunch of other places and I never have that problem when I ask to remove that stuff from my food and they make it as it is because of an allergy to these things. But obviously they did not listen.

Fantastic food!!!!! Was there yesterday with a group of friends and we had a great time. The vegan dish was out of this world and we loved the vegan egg. The mushroom steam buns were delicious. We'll definitely be back.

If you are looking for a good ramen place, this can be a great choice! Their menu also offers wide variety of Asian salads, bowls and noodles at a decent price. You can either get a table or grab something to go. Service is great. Wait time in peak time is not bad either. Overall great experience.

Pretty good place. The service was very slow though but everyone was nice and got seated quickly in the big crowd. The bao bao are absolutely delicious they aren't traditional but taste great anyways. The ramen cones in a big portion. The other food is all very good and fair price.

Visiting from Chicago, and definitely will come back. Their Vegan Tofu [Replaced Udon with Ramen] was absolute Fire. If you want some hot soup, with a zing of spice and Indian flavor, I highly recommend! The atmosphere is cozy, yet sophisticated. Quite upscale, yet down to earth and trendy. Thank you for the lovely service, too!

I like everything about this particular Wagamame. The food is good and they have spicy meals. Also, as a vegetarian I had a lot of choices for starters and main courses. The place is nicely decorated and the music is not too loud (compared to the other Wagamame which is a few blocks away)

Honestly truly impressed. Saw this place randomly walking around on my lunch break with a friend. The prices are great, the quality of food is amazing, the atmosphere was chill and the speed of the services were great as well definately a spot I would recommend and come back too and the price for 2 people was 40 for my friend and I.

My wife and I came on a weekday during the evening for a quick, light meal. Kind of wish I hadn't because the moment I walked through the door and saw a queue with no host in sight I knew this was going to be a long wait. A resteraunt should always have a host present - always. Eventually just as I was about to walk out a host appeared and seated us. After what felt like an eternity, our meals came - well my Chick Teriyaki did. With some 10mins gone and my wife's Ramen dish not in sight, my meal had gone cold (I was waiting for hers) and even she was losing patience. It eventually arrived but our quick meal experience was anything but. I understand that meals come out in random order with Wagamama as it is the same back home in the UK, just don't make folks wait an eternity without updating them at least. Having asked for the check resulted in an equally long wait and I just couldn't wait to get out of there as we had wasted a large amount of time.

I waited 10 minutes along with a few other people for the host to show up. He was really slow and lazy. I didn’t feel like waiting anymore so I left. Restaurant 101 - always have someone at the host stand. Especially since this place is huge

Yakisoba with the steak is my favorite. I first had wagamama in London and when I found it in NYC I had to enjoy it again while I was working in the area. Very pleased and brought back fond memories of being across the pond.

A bit overrated. the chicken bao was dry and with a cold tomato slice, the whole meal was a no go. The rice bow was okay. The ambience is nice and the waiters friendly. I don't think I'm going back because there are so many other asian places much better than wagamama

The noise here is a bit intense, with the brick wall just bouncing the music back at you rather than absorbing it. Otherwise, the food is pretty good! It’s got an open kitchen, so a party won’t necessarily get all their food at once, but they’re reasonably close to each other. The staff is also really friendly and they’re reasonably fast, accurate, and polite.

Unfortunately the lychee martini doesn’t come with a lychee and the bartenders I don’t think Know how to properly mix drinks. Secondly when I came here for pick up, it took me as long as it would’ve taken me to sit down and eat at the bar. Thirdly our boa bun came out with no eggplant when we ordered it. The bangBang cauliflower is actually pretty good though. Hope this helps tightened up loose ends

Loved the pork ramen I had. This place is SUPER BUSY even on a weekday at lunchtime. Do what my friends and I did and book a table on OpenTable ahead of time to skip the huge queue. One of my friends has several food allergies and unfortunately needed to have her dish remade twice after a misunderstanding about a menu description (if any Wagamama servers are reading this, we are sorry!) but the staff was extremely understanding and accommodating of her. They’ve got a very robust tea and drink selection if you’re in the mood to experiment a bit!

I've eaten here a couple of times. The first time was with friends from college. The other time was with my family. The staff is super nice. The place looks chic so A+ for ambiance. The food is just ok. I think I was expecting better food so I was a little disappointed with my meals here.

The place was good. Got the food pretty quick. Got greeted immediately. All the staff seemed very friendly. I gave it 4 stars due to our waitress. She NEVER came by to see if we needed anything. Never refilled our waters. And when we got our bill it was about $74. We gave a $100 bill. And she immediately came and grabbed it and said "no change". Excuse me.. lol umm no we need change. But over all it was great.

Blah and tasteless food. Sad because the ambiance and presentation was great. I'd see myself quicker going there for edamame and drinks then a meal in the future. Also, bring out entrees together and not at same time as apps. Stage the food delivery. Doesn't have to be white gloved, but some common sense would make sense.

I got the Chili Chicken Ramen, and for the quality, this should’ve been bought for $6 at a hole in the wall where your expectations are low. Not $16 at a beautiful restaurant on 5th Ave. The broth wasn’t great, nothing blended and half of the noodles in the bowl were actually bean sprouts. Staff was nice but ramen elsewhere.

The food at the NY location is a bit more bitter-tasting than worldwide locations - perhaps it is a more American cooking flavor? Very chic building and even though it gets busy, they don’t rush you. Upstairs sitting area as well.

Very nice place, clean and trendy, service friendly, half a star lost because food comes out at different times (they do explain that it will but it's just weird and awkward to do this, it causes people to either apologize for starting without the others or to sit there with food going cold), half a star lost because I ate a main course & dessert and I'm still absolutely starving hungry, it's 'light' food, it looks like a big portion but some how it's not enough.

We first looked at the reviews and as we debated whether to walk inside, the delicious smells of the foods brought us right in. On our very first visit we felt we had the best waitress, she happened to know exactly when to come to the table and take our orders but also knew everything about every item we would mention on the menu. She had several dishes she personally loved and recommended then gave us time to decide. We ordered the Chicken dumplings The Steak Bulgogi, and the Wagamama All was very delicious! For dessert we had the chocolate layer cakes with hunger or coconut ice cream on the side. This place is a must go to restaurant. The foods, if you pick the right combinations you will experience every morsel, every single taste bud was satisfied between the spicy bulgogi, sweet and Tangy dumplings and the amazing desserts. We eventually came to find out the very waitress attending to us was the contracting manager for the restaurant but loves to show up and take a look, she even prepared the drinks for us herself and made the ice cream on the house!

Excellent food. However, we had a table reserved and it still wasn’t ready for another 35 minutes. The one other part that was odd; that the apps didn’t arrive till after the main course was served. Other than those two items; I highly recommend it.

Disappointment. We ordered and the food came out within a couple of minutes but was room temp. Of our two bowls of ramen only the beef in the short rib bowl was anything close to warm. Unfortunately its broth was flavorless in addition to lacking warmth. We also ordered green tea but it never arrived. Second star because while the flavors were bland and the food wasn't warm at least the service was prompt.
