Christmas dinner was lovely. Well cooked and tasty. The restaurant is very cosy.

Great food, service and atmosphere.

Mark Moncrief

Loved it!!

Sebrina Greene

Excellent food and service!

Mark Jewell

Fancy restaurant with very small bar. Pretty expensive but had a great range of cocktails and wine. They have a happy hour at the bar only but you have to ask for the menu. Even if you order a happy hour item you will be charged full price if you don't mention happy hour. Also ate here and the food and service were amazing

Connor Boyd

Tbh a little disappointing for the price. My prawn curry sauce was.. weak and I got like three of them. The pumping dance music in the upstairs part is awful. Really didn't suit the mood, food or clientele despite the Disco ball.

Jeovanny Valdez

Amazing food

Amazing!

Vaucluse has become one of New York's great restaurants. We keep returning and it keeps getting better and better. When they first opened it was clear that they had spent a fortune on the decor. Recently, they re-decorated and it's even more gorgeous.....and no banquettes.....and the surfaces are softer so the noise level is lower..... and the menu is terrific. Staff is wonderful. Bravo to Rocky for his relaxed but sharp eyed way of running things.

John Stewart

Beautifenue, but for the price the

Very good restaurant. Decor was nice. Not too loud. Drinks were on point. I’d also point out the service was impeccable. There were a few issues within our party with respect to drinks and dishes but they adjusted all accordingly. Would definitely go back!

Justin Mills

Good Armagnac selection.

Liane Neckel Kadur

Great place

David Janashvili

Keep coming back to this gorgeous restaurant for great food and one of the best wine lists in town. Great private party room and options too.

Ralph Korpman

Whatever you've heard, this place is even better. Even though it has gotten pretty popular, it is still among the best two or three restaurants on the upper East side. Currently the best Steak Tartare in the City. Also, the flatbread appetizer will leave you very happy. Dover Sole to die for. Go and enjoy...but don't take my reservation slot!

Danny Rowland

I only went for a drink and I started with an Old Fashioned....it was one of the best I have ever had. So good and the service was amazing. They were attentive and kind and warm and friendly and made me feel so welcomed which is not always normal in such a fancy and expensive place. I will definitely be going back for the live jazz that they have a few nights a week.

Norbert Shtaynberg

The decor of the restaurant is very lovely. The menu offers great variety of food from seafood to meats in classic style. The waiter we had was wonderful and made our Anniversary dinner great. They served us at the same time and provided great quality food. They even had a special anniversary bag they gave us with goodies to go home.

K PA

Great ambience and very tasty food. Trendy place of UES

Reinhold Gebert

Sister restaurant to Omar's. Same food/kitchen (burger!) but less fun and stiffer atmosphere.

Christina Chen

Came for birthday celebrations!!! Everything was very good. The lamb was perfectly cooked!

Carolyn De Melo

Elegant ambiance with easily the best waitstaff service I've ever had. Food is adventurous but recognizable. The wild boar dish was absolutely stupendous, and the price was on point for restaurants of this ilk. Also, fun fact, movies have occasionally filmed here, so don't be surprised if you recognize the interior from film.

Yana P

Gorgeous place. I really enjoyed my meal there, its perfect for a special occasion. The servers were knowledgable and great. Would come back again, I just dont eat dairy so I had a hard time enjoying everything fully but they accommodated my allergy. If you eat butter - then definitely come here. Everything is doused in it, the French way.

Greg Sultan

Great food, service ambience. Good jazz and low noise level

Shahab Binafard

Great dining experience. High class at moderate pricing.

Andy Diamond

Unbelievable, everything's was perfect.

Jalal Greene

We the chef's tasting menu. It was six different courses and each one was excellent. The wait staff was superb and very attentive with out being overbearing. One of our top 5 meals.

Kiki Osman

It was my first time at Vaucluse and I loved the place. The food was very tasty and the service excellent. We definitely go back. Kiki

We mostly eat st places we go often. My wife has been to Vaucluse few times and we have been there together with friends and we liked the food and atmosphere. Based on all this we wanted to have Easter brunch there today as it’s not too far from our Ny apt. First and foremost they sat us at table for 5 at the entrance of waiters which is fine by itself yet each time waiters have to pass they have to push on one of the seats of our table . U want to be top notch restaurant on park Avenue make ur guest comfortable. We order foods and wine and get served appetizers and main course yet no sign of sides we ordered for the table. After we f done eating sides show up. For $680 check plus tip which I am happy to pay for good food u better be ready to serve sides with food . I can forgive hick-ups of seating arrangements by itself but not this . Spend ur money somewhere else Manhattan has many great options at this level .

I took my Fiance to New York City as a birthday present this past labor day weekend and decided to take her to Vaucluse due to the positive reviews and we were not disappointed. They went above and beyond to give us top service. Our waiters name was Andro, he was very knowledgeable, polite and patient with us as we decided what to order. We had the oysters, escargot and shared a 42 oz Tomahawk steak (special of the night) which was cooked to perfection, one of the best steaks I've ever had as a matter of fact. I made a comment that it was my Fiances birthday to which they gave us dessert on the house and even gave her a birthday card and small gift at the end of our meal, she was very touched. I do not recall the managers name but he was also very professional and made our overall experience very positive. I very much respect people that take pride in their jobs, especially working in the restaurant/culinary industry as it is not an easy one! Keep it up!

Second time coming here, great experience. The waiters are very attentive (sometimes TOO attentive; I felt like I was being watched.) The portions could be quite small but the food is very good. The chocolate cremeux (although not the usual consistency of a cremeux) was absolutely amazing. It had coffee bits as a garnish and was so light and airy. Would go back just for that and their Olive bread, that they unfortunately didn't have the last time I went.

Kristen Raimonda

I was recently a walk in for a Sunday brunch with a small group. Aside from the food, I have to say the service was great and the staff was super accommodating, which made the experience that much better. I would come back again for the bread alone! It was all delicious!

Deni Diaz

Highly satisfied with this place! I got the chef’s six course tasting menu with the twist that I have a gluten allergy. Vaucluse catered to my gluten sensitivity; it was above & beyond my expectations! Kudos to the staff, manager and everyone in the kitchen for such an amazing experience! {I want to add that I do not like lamb and I have tasted lamb many times. The lamp chops that were in the chefs menu was incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection.} This is the ONLY place I will eat lamb. May I need to say more?

Pierre Asselin

This place was a nice place to go for a special occasion. It had good lighting where you didn't feel the need to whip out you cell and search for the flashlight app. The staff are all incredibly friendly although they seem to have difficulty making a recommendation if you ask them. The food was tasty and creative, but got the impression it was more Italian than french. The food was also not the most amazing I've had, especially for the price, but I doubt many people leave disappointed.

Mark Weinress

A beautiful restaurant with wonderful food. It's a treat to eat in a formal dining room, not stuffy at all, just very relaxing and comfortable making a really fine dining experience. We enjoyed the meal very much and our waiter was terrific. We'll definitely be going to Vaucluse again.

Hyejung Seong

One of my favorite

Heidi Bayer

Vaucluse is a formal, upscale, spacious linen-tabled restaurant with two dining rooms and an well-designed, friendly bar in the middle lined with plush couches as well as comfortable bar chairs. I had a beautifully plated vegan salad which came with tasty gluten-free bread (requested). I ate at the bar with a colleague and was pleasantly surprised by the quiet, non-obtrusive ambiance. Although I didn't have time to peruse the menu (business lunch), wine or cocktail list for dinner, I will go back.

Daniel Kelly

Perfect for lower upper East side lunch. Quiet and elegant interior. I had the best Dover sole ever. My wife was happy with duck. The room had just a few well dressed patrons. Enjoy this place.

Leon Lin

Came here for restaurant week on a Sunday. Thought the food was good, and service was hit or miss. Bread service wasnt warm, but really liked the butter which was creamy and salty. Had the terrine, tagliatelle, bavarois. Terrine could have had a bit more seasoning, side salad was ok. Tagliatelle was very good, cooked perfectly and tasty sauce to go with it. Sausage and carrots taste decent but not exceptional. Bavarois was ok, but the ice cream accompanying was excellent. Had a different experience with the service compared to the other reviews though, could have been because I dined alone. Took me longer to get seated, longer to get my order taken, and one of the staff presenting the dishes seemed rather annoyed vs other diners I saw around me.

Fotima Asqarova

I don’t eat meat, but regardless can find what I can eat and absolutely enjoy it. Food, dessert, staff and the atmosphere -very enjoyable and welcoming :)

Roger D. Werner

Great meal and service.

Dimitri D Conbulk

Very good! Needs larger menu!

Angela Fernandez

Amazing burger. One of the best in the city.

Dan Geller

Very Upper Esst Side crowd, fun atmosphere, pricey, trendy

J C ARBEL

Best kept secret for impressive French fare. Best Lunch in the Upper East Side at a bargain price. Food is really outstanding, the service is amazing too

Joan Marsh

We chose the new Vaucluse, a close neighborhood destination, to celebrate a very important family birthday. There were all ages at the table...from 14 to 85...and it was a wonderful experience for all. The management staff was especially responsive to our diverse wants and needs...and best of all, the food was absolutely outstanding! Not to mention the exquisite Champagne toast sent by our family in Hong Kong. Everything ran very smoothly. We give it 5 stars, and plan to visit often.

Spyros margetis

Good but expensive for what it offers

Gail Lyons

Delicious brunch! Wonderful ambience. Attentive staff. Excellent wine list! Highly recommend!

javier quintana

Best quality mechanics with reasonable pricing, go see "Bo" or "Nick" at Silverado! Honest mechanics with the know how to do practically anything with your car!

Soo Kang

Service was superb, prix fix at reasonable price, we were celebrating birthday but didn't tell them, somehow they figured it out and send us candle lit on the dessert with a gift and personally signed card. Very touching. Duck was amazing and tender. Lamb chop was perfectly grilled but the best part was 45 day aged steak. Medium rare throughout. So tender and flavorful. Truffle in salad was well balanced and appetizers were interesting and rightly portioned. Wine selection was good but bit pricey but forgiven because of their friendly and attentive service.

Michael Perez

Great ambience and great food. Love the pasta

Matthew Cambas

Amazing food, service and speed. All staff were beyond courteous and made my engagement dinner something I will not forget. The next time I visit New York I will be back and highly suggest this restaurant to anyone looking for fine dining in Manhattan.

Tanisha Allen

Amazing staff and great food

Nancy Dao

Fabulous service, great food and lovely decor. We'll be back.

Alex Demiane

Amazing food and atmosphere, came here a couple of times to have some food and since I was by myself I chose the bar. Definitely made the right decision, Ashley who was my bartender took the time to explain to me the menu and even recommended me some gin cocktails to try (I love gin). All in all an amazing experience.

Andrew Cohen

Top end drinks, food and service at this swanky Park Avenue hot spot. You’ll be on good company whether sitting in the comfortable bar/lounge or in the impeccable dining room.

Dee Kurtzer

We did a 6 course tasting menu that was so good! Not your typical French items. Heavy on seafood (which I love) and included a pasta course band lamb chops! Dessert was a creme brulee and a n ice cream.

Eric Van Vleet

Some of the best food I've ever eaten.

Andre Castanheira

Arrive early, go to the bar and enjoy excellent cocktails with great jazz music live. The bar is amazing! After the Restaurant: amazing food and great service. Great place for business dinner or a romantic one!

Steve C 032

One of my favorite place on the Upper East. The Chicken Tagine is really good. I really like the safron couscous that comes with it. The Sea Scallops are delicious. We've had the truffle risotto many times...so good. The service is very professional.

Enrique Brockmann

One of the best restaurants in town. Exceptional French cuisine.

alison goldfrank

Had an excellent dinner experience here. From the quality of the food and great wine selection to the Excellent service the staff was lovely and helpful, I will definitely be coming back

Mathieu Forcioli

Great place for lunch! The beef tartare was delicious.

Carla Aparicio

Everything from the rabbit ravioli with truffle oil, to the steak frites and dessert was exceptional! and the service was superb! overall wonderful dining experience

Ryan L

Food and service was great. Recommend the dry aged duck and chocolate souffle.

Nisha Broodie

Wow, thank you Vaucluse for a wonderful meal. I don't even know where to start. They seen to really get that dining is about the whole experience- the ambience, decor, waiters, food presentation and taste. And they nailed all of that to a tee! We went during the French Restaurant week and I was very pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes of the dishes in addition to its fresh taste. We didn't feel rushed at all, and yet didn't feel forgotten or overlooked. The perfect balance!

Kelsey Carney

Tried to call and make a reservation and spoke with Annie. When I tried to explain the special occasion she kept interrupting me with an attitude. I asked to speak with a manager and automatically said he wasn't available like it was …

Roberta Clariond

Horrible place, don't go! Mediocre food and terrible service!! With so many good places to go for brunch in NYC we were sad to have ended up here!!

Ted Reilly

Excellent food and service

Elizabeth B

Just exquisite. Beautiful dishes, service and wine list. You will not regret.

Renata Cavalieri

Beautiful restaurant with great service and food. Steak tartare was one of the best I've had! Save room for dessert: best part of the meal! We ordered 4 different ones and each one was exquisite!

Chris C.

The staff at the door were racist and unprofessional which surely ruined my night. When I brought it up to the manager she brought my table 4 glasses of a dessert wine.

Silvia Obholzer

very friendly and attentive staff, nice atmosphere, delicious 45 days dry aged steak and fries, awesome desserts

Tornike Lubyk

I was first time in this place and I m very satisfied. I well spend my time and money. I have enjoyed the foods which was amazing and atmosphere. Hi end restaurant. Good quality foods. Only thing I'd suggest to fix the service little bit since we were waiting after seated for server over 15 mins to ask a water and 20 mins they bring the menu. I'd not complain if that would be a busy day but it was not so busy so if it will really get busy I believe servers will be overwhelmed.

John Rowbo

Food is sublime, great service, serene setting. Excellent!

Tj Sleiman

This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. It sets the standards for what all fine dining establishments should strive to become. I can't give it enough praise and I highly recommend Vaucluse. Both the food and service were impeccable.

Kenneth Broder

Great location and ambiance at this Park Avenue French bistro

Pauline DeMairo

Fine dining in a sophisticated setting. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. There was attentive service as well.

Anil Kumar

Great restaurant for business lunches. Service and food is fantastic.

Amanda Swartman

We mostly eat st places we go often. My wife has been to Vaucluse few times and we have been there together with friends and we liked the food and atmosphere.

Stephen Williams

I had dinner with a friend who is a regular and treated as such. I had risotto and Dover sole. The risotto was somewhat undercooked but good. The sole was also good but not special. Service was excellent.

Simon Tsang

Quality food, elegant dining room, but service does not come close to matching. Overpriced, I'm afraid.

scott gabrielle

Fancy smancy! Expensive but worth it to celebrate a special occasion or if you're just rich. Very "Upper Eastside" for anyone familiar with NYC neighborhoods.

Dreamer 777

Amazing food .. I just loved it

Vladimir Salomon

Amazing French cuisine

Tres Davis

Very good food. The service is good but not quite up to par with similarly priced restaurants (water glasses going empty, entrees not coming out at the same time).

Carlos Maldonado

Omar's events are .. well just chic extraordinaire.

Jessica Oliva

Great service, incredible food! The Chef's attention to detail is evident in every biteful from the first first course to the last spoonful of dessert. Staff is extremely attentive and helpful, will definitely be returning time and time again!

Angela Ruiz

Love this place and of course I love Oscar

Carina Chu

Fancy. Nice and clean. Extremely efficient service.

Kristin Crowley

Food and service was excellent. Went at lunch during restaurant week and ate off the price fixe menu which was a great value - appetizer, entree and dessert for $29USD. Server was very accommodating as the menu is in French with English descriptions but often times included complex cooking terms. This is definitely not some where to go for a quick bite or is it somewhere to go if you are looking for something inexpensive. The decor is absolutely beautiful with the marble and the high end fixtures. If you are looking for a high-end meal then this would be a great option. Gluten free options but not gluten free. Bathrooms are gender neutral.

Andy Agus

Great food

Joseph Berkowitz

Beautiful space , service and food.

Michael Sargent

Excellent French bistro. Modern French with respect to the classic dishes. Very helpful Nd knowledgeable waiters. Excellent wine list. Excellent location at 63rd & Park Avenue.

Andrei Zimiles

Friendly service and nice decor, but food is way below par. Burger was undercooked and flavorless with the appearance, texture, and taste of a poorly formed ground beef patty that was not fully defrosted before being unevenly heated. It was so bad we sent it back (which we almost never do at restaurants). Multiple other dishes were bland and flavorless. Bread service was good (basket of French pastries) but we had to ask for butter. A dessert that was supposed to come with raspberries did not have any. For a brunch that cost over $200 ($75pp prix fixe Mother's Day menu) this was very disappointing. We don't mind paying top dollar for awesome food, but paying top dollar for food worse than countless other options that are literally a third of the cost is an infuriating experience. We will not be returning to Vaucluse or any other restaurants associated with the same team. The only thing keeping this from being a 1-star review is that the staff were all nice and sweet with our one year old.

Matthew Bennett

Great setting with service to match. One of the few NY places I have been where service is done properly. The starter of squid stuffed with lobster and rice was very good, the tomato sauce was delicious and full of flavor. No complaints …

Carolyn Baker

The food was good and the service excellent.

Lauren Knowles

Fabulous meal, great service, good cocktails. Great place for a date, nice atmosphere. We split the tomahawk steak. It was one of the best things I've eaten.

Elizabeth J

The is the old Park Avenue Cafe. The food is pretty good and the prices are not bad. The decor is not as good as the old Park Avenue Cafe though. The buzz is okay. The clientele aver 65 years....

Nc Kane

Wonderful! Great food and service! Wonderful Mambian.

Hazel Colucci

Lovely, simple interior. Beautifully prepared and presented dishes.

CC Wu

Came last week during restaurant week for lunch. The seating was comfortable and the food was great. The portion was very enough for me. I will definitely want to come back again!

Damaris Perez

The first time we went there a month ago everything was great. But today not so good. I ordered chilled Maine lobster and I got lobster claws. And the very few pieces of lobster were undercooked. My husbands dover sole was over cooked. Ambiance not so great either. Never going back.

Carl Adams

Superb French cuisine in a quiet, civilized dining room in the East side area. Excellent value, delicious menu, extraordinary wines.

B Kayani

Great food. For those special nights.

Thibault Koempgen

An excellent experience, the cocktails were very good, the service was perfect. We took the price fixe menu with 4 courses and it was proportioned correctly, priced reasonably and very tasty. Overall i would recommend 100%. Just be aware you are in the upper east side and a lot of the regular customers feel very entitled about pretty much everything (“I don’t drink your water, I only drink Rosé wine don’t you understand?” Or “i don’t like that table, i want that table”) which adds to the experience too :D

Sandra Hind

Very enjoyable mother's day brunch!
