This Restaurant corresponds to the category of French restaurant.
Portions way too small
Outstanding steak and fries!
Absolutely brilliant little bar with authentic french tastes and twists and a brilliant atmosphere. Visited here on our first and last days in New York. Jen and geoffery were absolutely brilliant with the service and made us some of the most beautiful and tasteful cocktails we have had in all of manhatten. Highly recommend. Also they run happy hour every day on food, wine and cocktails. Can’t rate them any higher. Its a must try!
Frenchy location in NY. Great happy hours available from 4p on w-e !
Only stopped to check this place out and needed yp ordering a few cocktails and the bartender was a perfectionist and our drinks were wonderful.
Wow. Great new place in Soho ! Excellent service. Food was delicious (try the fois gras burger and the croquetas). They have a great selection of wines. The chef came talk to us at the table which was really nice. Perfect for a romantic date.
Service kinda slow
Great coffee didnt eat there. but the servies was medium
So noisy, service was terrible, the wine ordered was not what we’ve been served, bill came with 2 bottles instead of 2 glasses. I am French and it’s really was a very bad experience.
It seems like a great neighborhood place, but if you don't speak French you might as well be homeless, the rudest staff I've seen in my 18 years in NY.
Very interesting restaurant on the Edge of Chinatown
Sat at the bar with a friend, sipped on some prosecco. Waiter was very nice and patient (we took a long time to order) food was delicious.
Quataint place with limited but very good food.
I love it here! The food and wine is delicious! 10/10 Great for everyone
Stopped in for a quick bite while running errands downtown. I love this place! The service was awesome and so was the food. Definitely recommend risotto and waygu burger. Thank you for a nice lunch, can’t wait to return!
Didn’t enjoy so much. I had the avocado toast ($15) but it was just a small toast with avocado without much taste. The atmosphere was ok good and can’t say great. Always had to ask for help with orders.... over-price for food and venue. One time try is good enough for me.
It's new, French and comfy. Good apetizers and a great place for an apero
Amazing wonderland
The food here is amazing! My highlight of my time in NYC. Can't wait to come.
We had appetizers and small plates with nice white wine. The place is lovely, great atmosphere and kind staff. I had a really good time with my friends. See you soon Troquet !
Really lovely atmosphere, great wine selection and great food. Beautiful in warm weather with the windows open.
Very nice surprise. We didn't have a lunch reservation and came upon this open air restaurant for a light, but fine tasting lunch foods.
(Translated by Google) The food was good, however, the portion of foie gras was small. The music was too loud. Also, as it is a French restaurant, we would have expected to have a baguette with our meal.
Took an hour to get food. Maybe it’s better at night but don’t come here for lunch.
Excellent service, great food and drinks. Staff is amazing
Amazing food and great service ☺️
One of the best bars in NYC. Really cool atmosphere.
Perfect brunch spot at soho ! Great breeze wonderful drinks beefy friendly staff
Nice cafe, food was ok.
Ignored me.
Amazing vibe. Food and prices are great for Soho. You cannot find better staff. Great time, thx again.
Outstanding brunch. Great bar vibe. Solid date night spot. Can’t fault it.
Undoubtedly the best burger I've had in Manhattan. It's hard to find a high quality burger in NYC, especially for someone who comes from the south (we set a high burger standard in Texas). The burger was most likely cooked sous vide, because it was a perfect medium rare. I didn't get to stay for drinks, but it looked like they also have a great happy hour.
A stone throw away from my job and always a great place to wet my whistle before karaoke. Great food and great atmosphere!
We stopped for lunch. The fixed price offering (for $21) included a delicious frisée with soft boiled egg and chunky bacon, followed by a savory risotto with asparagus and Parmesan. Everything was delicious, including my Americano coffee. A nice selection of French wines are listed, of course. The staff were courteous, attentive and friendly. Wonderful.
Amazing place ! The staff is amazing, the food is great. I will definitely come back very soon !!!
Small space, loud music, decent food.
I had a ONE star experience here, but giving them a star back because they made some effort to compensate us. The restaurant was almost empty when we came in for lunch, but we still waited 47 minutes for two very simple dishes. I can almost forgive the wait if it was excellent, but it was just "okay". Soup was completely under-seasoned, barely a hint of salt. No amount of espelette pepper can make up for that. The portions were also ridiculously small. Salmon dish was three small bites and my $19 burger was dollar menu sized. For close to $50 in food, we had to eat in a rush and left hungry. To their credit they did offer us drinks at the end, but we didn't have time after being there an hour already.
Brilliant place. Everything is top-notch: the food , the service and the ambiance. Great cocktails too
Really lovely place. Much nicer when the street came down at night during the warmer weather. The chicken cobb salad was transcendent
(Translated by Google) We arrived there by chance by heavy rains and there have found a cozy restaurant, fine and sunny kitchen, attentive service to customer needs and a quality / price remarkable. If these criteria are maintained, there is a safe bet that it will book your table in advance.
Just discover this place and it's absolutely amazing. Food is delicious, the Chef Camille is impressive. Well balanced, fine, beautiful presentation. French fine dining with American touch. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Perfect for lunch as well as early hour drinks and for dinner. Great selection for wine geek. Fair price :) Troquet will definitely become a place to be !!!
Excellent meal choice and customer service.
True french experience... loved it

Great for happy hour. Nice wine selection and lively on the weekend.
Stay away from this place. The food almost knocked me out.
Bartender was extremely rude and unaccomodating. We will not be returning.
This place is delightful. It’s a small restaurant but that has no reflection to the big and flavorful Menu options. We started our afternoon late lunch with the tomato and cucumber gazpacho. I normally don’t like gazpacho but this has changed my mind about it entirely. For our main course we enjoyed the croque monsieur and the hanger steak. everything including the french fries are done to perfection. The staff here is extremely friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed our experience here and we will definitely be back. If you have not been I would this one of my favorite places in New York. It would also be a cute date night spot.
Food, Service and Ambience - Tres Formidable!
The set menu for lunch was fabulous. First there was a bean puree based soup, then grilled salmon with roasted root vegetables. Everything was prepared excellently, and was quite delicious. My lunch companions said the burgers were great. The dessert dish of espresso with three different puddings - chocolate, pistachio, and lemon - was quite nice. The espresso was great, totally smooth, but with a little rye spiciness. Unfortunately, they do pack the tables in too tight, just to get in as many people as the small space will allow. But, aside some inevitable bumping from and against others, the food, the decor and the service were excellent.
Such a nice place!!

Great restaurant where you will discover traditional French food in a friendly atmosphere. The 2 French owners are amazing and so talented. I had great evenings there feeling at home and it's not finished.
Great wine, great food, great service...
Bien placé, bonne étape à new york, bonne ambiance, cadre agréable et repas qualitatif a prix abordable ! J'aime Le Troquet !
Great little spot for brunch
French Bistro with a marble bar and simplistic décor, right on the corner of Lafayette and Grand. My friend saw this place on Instagram and suggested we should give it a try. We had a reservation for 8pm, not sure if was needed but anyway, we arrived there a few minutes early and were promptly seated. Service was pretty friendly and attentive (big bonus points!) Food: Gnocchi de pomme terre Troquet burger Frisee aux lardons Food was ok but nothing that I would be rushing back there for. I would definitely go again if Im in the area with no other plans or if you are looking for a relaxed open place to have some decent French bistro fare while catching up with friends. Drinks: White Bordeaux (yes, I like to be boring and skip the cute cocktails!) Negroni Spritz Peach Sangria Dessert: Carrot cake, was OK a little on the sweet side. Also, maybe a bit dry?? (don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad just that I have had better) Our waitress was super sweet and offered us a shot of tequila along with our shot. I skipped but is the thought that counts right?
Friendly staffs, but took way too long for a regular coffee and a capuchino. Coffee was bad (too watery). Great view
Awesome place. Really frenchy. Good wine selection and tasty food. I highly recommend.
We ate here a couple of times and the food was good, we also took advantage of their Happy Hour several times great cocktails
Fresh food. And great food!
Cozy bistro with delicious french menu. Amazing confit de canard. Also great service at the bar.
Most excellent wine respite! Be sure to honor the Tradition and tip Hannah double!!!!
Tried it and glad that I lived to write this review. Not disgusting.
Delicious, friendly staff and nice decor.
Sit up at the bar to sip on an excellent cocktail while nibbling on some tasty french snacks.
Découvert par hasard. Un coin de gastronomie franco-americaine à recommander. Excellent accueil et service.
High prices Great food, good sangria, nice acoustics
Great wine!
Excellent service, good food and atmosphere !
Stacey was really charming and attentive. Drinks were great!
Good staff mediocre food
Fresh, simple and delicious food... loved it! New French Bristo that opened 2 months ago with a great wine selection, definitely recommend it
The best coffee I had in New York We stopped here just for a quick coffee after a long shopping day.. And voila! Finally, a really good coffee. Had a nice beer too and the service was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back to try the food..
Lovely spot for brunch. Unpretentious, classic, chic and welcoming. Excellent coffee! Thank you, Stacey!!
Nice place cheap beer good music nice atmosphere
kuule beiz, groovy sound
Intimate cozy spot with fresh dishes! Good place to start the night!
The place is overrated. For this price, I expected a better quality of food. The duck was extremely salty, the steak had a weird aftertaste. The white substance they brought with fries was disgusting. When the waitress asked how’s everything, I told that the duck was too salty to have more than a couple of bites, then she returned and silently took away the plates when I was on my phone. That was rude. No apologies was offered. Also, the music was a better fit for a club rather than for a restaurant and it was really too loud.
Been to cheaper happy hours with more offerings, but the location is great and the vibe really sets a perfect scene. $9 cocktails, $8 wine, $5 beer and appetizers. Ordered the fries and mussels, which were yummy and not too heavy. Service was so great, will be back for sure.
Troquet is such a cute new addition to SoHo! Run by French owners, this place has a little warmth and authenticity that a lot of French-imitation places lack. The details of the materials they used to revamp the bar are gorgeous - I'm particularly obsessed with the geometric wood paneling that is prominent in the restaurant. Anyways, food was absolutely beyond amazing - I had the beetroot salad and filet de loup (sea bass). The beet salad is classically delicious and fresh, but the seabass was an entirely new experience - some sort of lemon froth is served on the side of the plate and is such a fluffy and unexpected addition, super into it. Overall the owners were very friendly and the food was amazing!!!! We had their salted butterscotch/pear combo for desert also and WOW. 10/10
Had a breakfast with my family. The food was ok, unfortunately on the bill the added 20% mandatory tip. Asked the stuff twice if it is mandatory and they answered that this is the law in NY. Of course this amount wasn’t written in the menu or verbally told by the stuff at the time of the order. Sorry to say for me it looks like a grab.... Visited many restaurants never had same bad experience.
Love this bistro-y spot. We popped here one rainy day and were delighted by the service and the brunch menu items. (Bonjour delicious Croque Monsieur!) Note: portions are French-ish. I could have used a second piece of avocado toast in exchange for my $13 for example... but overall, a great experience. Did I already say the bartender was great? Sit at the bar, end seat by the window, check out the view (what is that cupola building??) and enjoy a tasty Bloody Mary. That’s mes deux centimes on that.
It is just a great place...
I'd come here again
Great deal on bottomless brunch! Get the fries. Trust me.
Gorgeous wines, an amazing chef, fantastic and knowledgeable staff all in a cozy atmosphere, love it here at Troquet! So fun, great for celebrations!
Nice
Amzing place with Great food !
(Translated by Google) Very good times, we went there every night. Fine and refined cuisine, exceptional service, a little paradise in NY. The manager Thomas is very friendly, he advised us on the tours of the city and he was very good advice. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Very good wine selection.
Amazing atmosphere
Awesome food and wine list! Staff is so nice, it's a great little oasis.
Food is delicious , very good wine list and the service is great. I highly recommend this new wine bar/ restaurant.
Great drinks and food!
Small, intimate atmosphere, with some good happy hour specials.
Fell in love with this restaurant
It’s not because the name sounds french that it’s necessary good french cuisine...

Amazing food in Soho for an authentic french bistrot ambiance. The plus of this restaurant is the excellent French chef who has previously worked with best chefs in France. The wine list is also great. Highly recommend for drinks, brunch or dinner.
Great happy hour spot with cute views.
Such a great place with great food drinks and service. We were just wondering the streets, the weather was hot and humid and then we've stumbled upon this corner restaurant. The decor pulled us in but the team of servers were quickly making sure we'll have drinks and food. Loved it!
Amazing food and great staff! Quintessential New York/Soho restaurant
Great staff good happy hour
Cute little place with delicious bites and exceptional cocktails. Relaxing vibe and an abundance of fresh light. Stopped in here a few times now and each time I’m pleasantly surprised by how friendly the bar tenders are. Definitely give this place a go (especially for brunch!) while you’re out and about in SoHo.
Very cute place! Great prices, great drinks, nice bartender. Update: We went back, thats how much we love it, same bartender was there and recognize us, very nice girls and makes a killer martini! If you are around Soho stop by, you wont regret it!
Absolutely amazing! When visited during happy hour, I ordered glass of rose, and I was blown away by its aroma. When I tasted it, I felt all the fruits and flowers mix together in my mouth in a captivating sensory experience. The bread exceeded my standards, too. It was crispy and delicious, and the spread was something I’ve never tasted before. Not to mention, the décor created a calm ambiance that made me feel at home. The rose wallpaper was beautiful, and the fresh flowers on the table gave off a nice smell of spring. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Just ate here and the entire experience was laughable, from the watery Bloody Mary to the over cooked poached eggs served on top of upside down Thomas's English muffins that was supposed to pass for eggs benedict. The salad that came with the tuna nicose was old and slimy as well as the side salads served with the other dishes. The pancakes were inedible because they were just plain terrible with a burnt after taste. Don't know what else to say other than if you visit, look closely at your salads?
