Food was good but portion size was small, and I don't remember ever having to order rice and beans separately ($6) at a Mexican restaurant. Service was really slow. I think they forgot we asked for chips and salsa(which aren't free $5), and we had to ask again.

It made me want to do the backpack dance (or was it the delicious margaritas I got). Although they were out of sparkling water (my vice) it exceeded expectations. The mole was rich and flavorful and the chips (homemade on site) will force me to add a mile to my training routine. Even for a jaded New Yorker, it was very good.

There are three Mexican restaurants within 2 blocks of each other on this street and this is the best one by far. The menu is delicious and creative as opposed to a just a bunch of burritos. The cocktails are fantastic and the list of premium tequilas and mezcal is long. Service is attentive and the vibe is relaxed and fun. Definitely our regular go-to.

Place and food was great, I gave them 4 starts because first I asked for a Pacifico Beer but they don't have it, then for the main entree I asked for Carnitas and guess what, they don't have it, blaming that they are changing the menu. The food was great, amazing tasting.

A quaint little space with very young, good looking, and super friendly staff. The food was very tasty and was on price point with other restaurants in the area. I was surprised that they don't offer free chips and salsa. Instead you must purchase for $6 from the extras section of the menu. The margarita was delicious and did NOT taste watered down. Definitely will return.

Lauren, Danny, and Elvis are my favorite bartenders to visit while I'm here for either Monday's all night happy hour or just for an after work meals with delicious margaritas to relax me after a long day on my feet. The food is pretty tasty too! I work in the neighborhood so I've become a a little bit of a regular lately.

Happy hour is a trick. The glasses they use for happy hour are half (or less than half) the size of the glasses during other hours. If your order a happy hour frozen, it is half the size of a non-happy hour frozen. Annoying, but true.

A semi upscale Mexican restaurant that has great drinks and great food. Elotes and tacos! Their drinks are amazing and strong. The food is flavorful, vibrant and fresh. The service was great. Food and drinks came out fast. Portions are on the small side and I never felt full. They are a bit pricey. I hear they have happy hours 4pm - 7pm and all day Monday. Maybe I'll check them out again then and get more value for my $$.

This place is like being in a trendy neighborhood of Mexico City. Legit, authentic ingredients with a creative twist, delicious! I can have adobado and kale in the same meal! Morelian gazpacho, huitlacoche, yes please.

I was there last night with my wife (second time), the first time I was here I loved it, however last night wasn't as good as I remembered. Tortilla soup was very good as well as the burger, I will have to come back and give the carnitas another try, ambiance is good and warm and service it's just ok! Overall good food, good ambiance, poor service.

very busy place so sometimes hard to get the attention of the servers, and it can get pretty noisy so it was hard to have a conversation across our table. However, all of the food we ordered was unbelievably good and the prices are very fair.

Really tasty food at decent prices and a fun atmosphere. The Jalapeño Margaritas are fantastic and strong, too! The service can be a little slow when busy, but on one such occasion the staff were very apologetic and even gave us a free round of margaritas and guac which was really above and beyond. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Made a reservation for 8, they sat us for 4 and our party was forced to sit at separate tables after dealing with unfriendly staff. The food was cold and not good and the beer was warm. Spend your money somewhere else.

Good local place with chill vibes and a nice breezy view of 8th Ave in Chelsea. A little on the pricy side, but so is most of the neighborhood. Spicy smoky margaritas are good, as are the nachos. I've only gone during happy hour times, so haven't sampled a ton of the food, but everything I've seen brought out has looked tasty.

Ehh... I was looking forward to having some good Mexican food and the reviews were great. We had reservations and were promptly seated. Ordered smoky margaritas, which sounded delicious. Unfortunately they were way too heavy on the margarita mix and neither of us finished ours (we loved spicy/smoky margaritas). Now the food wasn’t horrible. Guacamole was tasty and my fish tacos were really good! My bf ordered the carnitas plate and wasn’t thrilled but finished the meal. A good Mexican place needs good margaritas! Not sure we will be back. Service was great!

Food was okay, guacamole was exceptional though. Brunch cocktails took a while to come out, unless you got mimosas. Would definitely recommend to pass on the Bloody Mary, but the Jalapeño margarita was good! All in all decent place for brunch.

This is a particular Mexican restaurant. The nachos are extraordinary, each chip covered with cheese and all sauces individually. A good burger with a very fresh black bun, tasty, the meat could be a bit better but for the price is best in it's class. All the food has great presentation, but there is some room for improvement on the flavor. The margaritas were the highlight of the night, really great tequila and perfectly balanced on the mix. Great churros dessert. The staff could not be nicer, extremely gentle and caring waiters all around. Definitely worth a visit. Update: after having the brunch I got to change it to 5 stars! The burger this time was unbelievably tasty! Margaritas still the best, and I tried the cornmeal pancakes, it's like elves made this pancakes to bring happiness into our bellies! Also guacamole is delicious too! New brunch spot for us!
