I was there for dinner on Saturday and went back for brunch on Sunday. This place was lively and fun. Music was great. Staff was fun and attentive. Drinks were very tasty! Sunday brunch had some great "all you can drink for an hour" specials.

their tacos are excellent. Their beverage choices are terrible. The ambience is excellent but the Mexican music which is good coupled with 6 or so Sports televisions seems a bit incompatible.

The food that we ate was good in varying degrees. The guacamole was decent. Could have used more salt and were ordered spicy but it wasn't. Ok, I eat really spicy things but this had very little luck to m it. My chilaquiles verde was actually quite tasty and there was a lot of it. I ordered a side of beans and rice and they brought two heaping bowls to the table. Beans are a bit bland but I could fix that. The portions were so big I took them home. My wife got the breakfast burrito that she said was tasty and took half home. The service was good and my water glass never got to half empty. I usually get dessert but was too full to get one. I want to try dinner and their margaritas. Need to go back for a second opinion, as it is worth going back again.

It was a nice place with great food and great service. I had the Camarones Tacuba, which I highly recommend. It's loud, so not the ideal spot for a romantic dinner, and the food came out pretty fast, so not a lot of time to enjoy the apps. But, again, food and service was great.

This was a place we stopped in, on a whim and it was such a great decision! The brunch here is so creative and filled with delicious food combos! They use super fresh ingredients and care about service. We were in and out in No time and super happy with the whole experience! Highly recommended

Excellent, authentic Mexican food. The carne asada tacos and the corn (elote) are to die for! Always start with the guac and chips. Parking can be a bit difficult and it can get quite loud, especially during peak times like Friday and Saturday nights.

Mojitos had no alcohol at all. Tasted like lemonade. When we complain about it the waitress totally ignored us. The so called “quesadilla’ has no queso and only one tortilla at the bottom, that’s not a quesadilla, that’s a tortilla . At the end they added 20% tip stating we were a group of 6 when we were really 5. This place is not worth it AT ALL. Terrible service, terrible drinks and the food is not all that. The only thing good was the guacamole. Never coming back. Don’t waste your money here

Amazing, amazing service. Our waters were never empty, our table was wiped clean part way through and our empty dishes were whisked away without a word. Friendly waitress and waitstaff as well. We were prepared to get a couple courses but were surprised when our order of nachos (which was amazing) filled us right up. I wouldn’t say it’s completely authentic, for example the spicy salsa wasn’t actually that spicy. But it was darn good for a reasonable price.

Terrible service. Got our drinks and apps before water. The couple next us left after waiting for a waiter for ten minutes just to order drinks. Food and drinks came out fast but it hardly made up for the service issues. No one offered us a second round of drinks or dessert. Won’t be heading back; which is unfortunate because we loved our experience and the food/drinks at the Manhattan location

The frozen mango margaritas are awesome. We also very much enjoyed the chorizo nachos and the salad with the jicama. Only bummer is that the happy hour food and drink specials are only available at the bar and not if you sit at a table, which I understand but wish at least on weekdays it could be both. The staff is friendly and super cool about us bringing the kiddo.

Nice place and the food was ok. It was little pricey for a small establishment in Queens. Their prices are more expensive than Manhattan. Had a large guacamole for $24 and mojito for $14. Never will I go there again.

Ordered a chicken burrito. Pros: It was prepared quickly. The interior of the place is nice. Cons: The burrito was expensive, but also was very small. Bad combination. They didn’t put guacamole on it like the menu said. The rice was bad: more of a parboiled boxed rice than authentic Mexican rice. The burrito was oversalted. The shoestring fries were INCREDIBLY oversalted. And in case you’ve forgotten, the burrito was very small, so there were more of these awful potatoes than there was mediocre burrito. I still want my guacamole. Or like $2 back. Don’t go here.

Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of being in. Tonight is my second time here. Last time I ordered the Oaxacan grasshoppers on a whim. Tonight I ordered the enchiladas and a cappuccino. My girlfriend ordered nachos, tortilla soup and a Coke from Mexico. It was all amazing. The atmosphere is sublime. There's some day of the dead decor along with other traditional pieces. The bar is huge! The staff is very hospitable and friendly. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. The music is great - they even have mariachis from time to time. I'll definitely be back again.

This place was amazing! From the moment I walked to the moment I left I loved it all. The staffs were fantastic, they were always there to assist and make sure you're comfortable. The food is DELICIOUS and not to mention the drinks. Overall this place is a place to return to and a perfect spot to have brunch with your friends. Words cannot describe how happy I am to experience this place. 5 stars just isn't enough for the service, scenery, food and so much more that was provided. Keep it up Tacuba, you have a great team working for you. I highly recommend this spot! Thank you for the experience.

I love their food. I usually ordered, to go,3 chicken tacos which comes a side of rice and beans. I ordered from Tacuba once a week and this time I was charged 1.50 for a side of sour cream and it change my entire mood. I will suggest buying your own sour cream if you work around the area and frequent Tacuba.

I was there on Friday night. They had plenty of seats available, so we were seated right away. They were also playing very cheerful music. . We had nachos, pork tacos, and fish tacos. The food was okay, but I was a little bit disappointed with fish tacos. Fish was not really crispy and even though there were 3 tacos, portions of each taco was very small.

Too bad service. Mojitos are just water with sugar and lime juice. For $11 dollars each. Chilada is just little tortillas for $18 Quesadilla is just a little tortillas . They charge 20% tips mandatory in the bill and adding the tips plus taxes unbelievable. We asked to take away the tips to give it cash, and the Manager came to us asking us to pay at least 18 % tips . I told him that, it is not mandatory and you are no suppose to add it before the taxes. He was so hungry for money. I don't recommend this place.

Good drinks and decent food. Nothing to complain about aside from the small, single tortilla, tacos which could have been larger for the price. Favor wise they were fantastic, as was the coconut mojito. I will come back to try some other dishes.

Such a disappointment, i have been here before for my cousin bd celebration and i love the place and the food and my bf loves Mexican food do i took him for his bd. The waitress mess up the order instead of stake tacos she gave us stake. We told her if she could exchange us the plate she say that we would need for the plate of stake plus the tacos. So we decided to eat the stake. It had a weird flavor even the sides were weird. Then i got a dresser as a surprise for his bd and it was so small and over priced! So disappointed never coming here again :(

Chapulin tacos were really good and staff are nice! I've never had grasshoppers, but they're so familiar and likable. I still felt like I was enjoying a meal from my childhood.
