The service was great my server name was Allan. He paid attention to what we needed and was there for us. This is usual in restaurant because it was a big party but he did a great job. Honestly the best customer service ever. Also the food was great too!!! Come here ! You won’t regret it!

I come here all the time and its Great. I stopped at the bar had margaritas which were $5!!!! Then we sat at a table and the service was fantastic. Sinigual never disappoints. Drinks, food, hospitality, you name it.

The house margaritas are BIG and STRONG. During happy hour they're only $5! Can't go wrong. Do note that for HH specials you need to be sitting in the bar area (directly at the bar or at the tables nearby in the lower area). If you're in the main restaurant area you can get the full menu but you don't get HH prices.

I went to this restaurant with the team for lunch, and the experience was so-so. Our server was friendly, and accommodating, but the food and the service in general didn't live up to the expectations. The items that I really liked were guacamole, and Barbecue ribs from the sampler platter. Shrimps Diabla was a good dish, but Carne Asada was not cooked medium-rare as I asked, and my colleague's steak fajita was cold and not very tasty. Guacamole that we ordered for the table was not big enough as they apparently use only 2 small avocados, which just doesn't justify the $15 price. Service-wise, utensils were not replaced after we had our starters and guacamole so we had to continue eating the main courses with the dirty forks and knives.

Have visited twice in the past nine months are was equally impressed both times. Service was smart and crisp, readily offered advice on the food and drinks menu and was attentive but unobtrusive. TABLESIDE GUACAMOLE is fabulous. Love the Dined with large groups both times and food was excellent, refined Mexican cuisine flavored with flair. Setting is very pleasant and noise level is great for conversation. Wish this place was closer to home.

Came here for happy hour & me and my friends ordered drinks and ordered a shrimp appetizer that came with 5 shrimp and we weren’t pleased with the price so a manager came back to us and told us that the waitress said that the food was given back because we couldn’t afford it Our drinks were rushed and she gave a very nasty attitude so we decided not to tip She opened the bill and let us know that the tip wasn’t included so she proceeded to show everyone we didn’t give a tip . Very unprofessional and disgusting that she had the audacity to do that while we were still there . She proceeded to walk off and tell us that she would never serve us again. Sinigual is the perfect place if you're looking for a high-end, well-serviced Mexican meal. Instead of chips and salsa, they serve warm tortillas, two types of homemade salsa and a sweet butter as a starter. Their sizzling mixed fajitas are unbelievably delicious - every meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. On my last visit, my friend had the tamarind rack of ribs, which he at first was concerned would be too much food. But it was so good, he just kept eating until it was gone. My absolute favorite part, though, because it makes me smile, is the drink pictured below - the El Dueño. It makes me smile because, as you can see, the menu says, "limit one per guest." Naturally, I have one every time I come. And I have yet to understand why I'm limited to one. Maybe two would be too much???

So, can you say Table-side Guacamole?! I cannot understand why every Mexican restaurant can't do this- it is such a treat, and Sinigual makes a fantastic dish! I come here for that alone- okay, well, for the Margaritas as well- and the Micheladas! Who knew you could find a Michelada in New York City! While this is a really good Mexican restaurant in NYC, don't expect what you would find in Texas or California, but I will say this- they have really good food, and the service is awesome as well. I choose to come- sit in the bar and drink, and order an appetizer or 2, and that, for me, makes for a great time.

Just had a great business lunch here. Food was delicious and came out quickly. I ordered the tableside guacamole - a must! Since I am a vegetarian I had the rice and beans, Yucca fries and the broccolini. Pleasant waitstaff. Highly recommend.

A midtown oasis , this restaurant makes for the perfect lunch escape . I was here the other day with a colleague , and we lost track on time , so carried away in the experience of indulging in authentic dishes , atmosphere and pleasant service , we enjoyed every minute of it . The guacamole is a must have on the menu.

Food was good. I had the Chile relleno and a grilled stake taco. Very well cooked. The flavor was very authentic. However the margaritas weren't that good. They don't use natural lemon juice and that makes them very acid. Service was good but not friendly.

Terrible service, rude staff. Starters were pretty much thrown at us and finished before a drinks order was taken. Thought this was just quirky to start. However further poor service rapidly spoilt our evening. Mentioned this to the waiter who then became aggressive. Would only recommend if every other eating place in new york was closed

Great place for your favorite Mexican dish. Contemporary scale type restaurant . Inside simply beautiful. Food was a 10. Appetizers great. Try the jumbo shrimp and the appetizer sampler, they were off the hook. Main course, steak fajitas. Katerina our waitress, simply magnificent. Place clean, and roomy. If you like margarita's, they have plenty to choose from.Guacomle prepared right at your table. A must stop if you are midtown east. Full cocktail and food menu.

I’ve been at Sinigual many times so far, the place is great and well located. The food it’s ok but not really Mexican enough as I was looking for. Margaritas during happy hours quite good in terms of value for money. The waiters should be more knowledgeable about Mexican food and can improve their skills on customer service.

We were there tonight and it was beyond delicious. Armando was our server and he gave us recommendations on what to order and he did not disappoint. Food was amazing, drinks were satisfying and the staff was welcoming. It’s our last night in New York and I am so glad we decided to eat here. Highly recommend asking for Armando for your sever!!

Awesome tasting well seasoned food! Beautiful spacious atmosphere. Tables are not right on top of one another. Customer service is also excellent. We were a table of 9 and everyone enjoyed their dish. Would highly recommend. Good for family or even a two person date.

We had dinner on a Thursday evening. The waiter was friendly and nice. I had the fish taco and and carne asada taco, both of which were yummy. There was a group celebrating a birthday nearby and the staff sang happy birthday. We ordered guacamole and they made it in front of us. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the music at the right level, the light not too dark. So I'd come back!

The best place ever! Prices are average, the food and drinks quality meets expectations, but most importantly the staff is so nice and accomodating, they make you feel like home. My very special favourite is Tamara, the bartender, because she is very fast doing her job, very professional, knows how to do her job well but still makes time to have a talk with every guest, to give them recomendarions about drinks, always has a smile on her face and makes the guests leave with the same.
