Went here for lunch when visiting the area. Lots of options for kids and grown-ups. Fast and friendly service, the food tasted great, and the establishment was clean. A great option for something "fast" for those looking for fast food or healthier options.

This place is in a great location at the base of the NY Times building. Very bright and airy inside. The menu is quite large. I settled on a burger with their special sauce, bacon and tomato's ordered fries on the side. It was a very good burger and one of the first casual fast food places I've been that ask how do you want your burger cooked, medium, medium-well etc. Would definitely go back.

I had the vegetarian sandwich here and it was simply amazing and so flavorful. I had really not hoped to get something vegetarian here and the food was quite satisfying. Will definitely be back here to try the vegan burger as well!

Poor customer service. Treated like I didn’t just spend 40 dollars on food. Extremely long wait when the store was empty. Asked the food preparer what was taking so long when people ordered after me and got there food first. He actually had the nerve to say it’s only been ten minutes just wait. But I told him my receipt showed it’s been way longer than 10 mins. He didn’t care nor apologize.

Overall friendly staff and clean tables. Ample seating for the all the Corporate offices around the area. Staff will bring the order to the table, instead of requiring to pick it up when the buzzer rings. The wait for my burger and fries for a bit long for non peak hours.

I’ve been to the Schnippers near Times Square and I preferred that location somehow. I ordered the Chicken club and fries and for $16 i was a little disappointed. Fries were cold, club was a little thrown together, and restaurant overall was empty but still quite messy. I would stick to the burgers and shakes next time.

5th time there. It was kind of busy but not like line out the door busy. They couldn't handle it. My order wasn't made. When I complained and agreed to take my order to go - I was planning on eating in - they gave me the wrong order. Management contacted me and made things right. I revisited yesterday and enjoyed the usual good service and excellent burger and shake. My friend had the chicken sandwich and loved it. Good job Schnippers!!!

So I typically really enjoy this place. My go-to on the menu is the tuna melt on rye with a side of fries. Absolutely delicious and in restaurant dining is typically quick if you get there at the top of the lunch rush. The food is a little pricey, but very tasty. What makes me give this restaurant a 3 instead of a 5 is that my last visit there, I found a piece of metal in my tuna melt and nearly cracked a tooth in the process. To the manager's credit, they reacted pretty quickly by apologizing, refunding my money and giving me a $20 gift card, but admittedly, I'm hesitant to go back.

This is the worst location in an otherwise good chain. They consistently fail to do anything in under twenty minutes and getting it right in that amount of time shouldn't be so tough.

This place is kind of gross and the service isn't great. They messed up my order in so many ways. Even though I asked for a gluten-free bun and made sure the veggie burger was gluten-free, they still put croutons on my salad. The lettuce in the salad was brown and wilted. I had asked for chipotle ranch sauce (and was charged for it) but it wasn't in the bag. I waited a long time for my order even though the place was almost empty, and then they brought it on a tray even though it was supposed to be to go. When I finally got my food it was cold.

I ordered the sweet heat sandwich to go for my bus ride home since it was really close to Port authority. The sandwich was delicious and spicy even after a few hours since I didn't eat it right away. Service was quick so its a good place to stop by if you have to catch a bus like me. Definitely will come back to try the dine in experience.

Schnippers on Church Street is a good place for fast food. Their food is filling; service is fast and friendly. This location is spacious and clean. Schippners asks us how we wanted to cook our burgers. I like mine medium rare. They cooked the burgers to our ordered doneness. K and I went here for lunch. We shared the following. Sweet potato fries- these were great! Thick cut crispy fries and the sweetness from the sweet potatoes. Definitely get this. Green Chile Burger- I loved this! The green chilies had a sweet smoked spiciness that cut into the fatty burger. Hickory Bacon Blue Burger- the bacon and burger was great. I didn't like the pungent blue cheese sauce. Maybe I would get another burger next time. Chicken finger and fries- the Chicken fingers were so juicy and crispy! The best dish is the fried chicken! The fries that came with the order were a little stale. I would swap out the fries for sweet potato next time. Shakes: Cookies and Cream and Strawberry. The Cookies and Cream tasted great! Chunks of cookies and the sweetness was perfect. The strawberry was ok. The best bites were the Sweet Potato fries and the Chicken Tenders. For Shakes, I would reorder the cookies and cream.

I came inside hungry, was told by a very courteous cashier, policy was no 100 dollar bills with purchase under $60. I was hungry but not $60 dollars worth and I was alone. The manager reaffirmed and I was left with the choice of leaving to find change and see some other place to eat or check my bank balance. As I checked my bank balance, the owner was holding a meeting. I explained the situation and he accepted my bill. I gave him my business card for my company information in case it does come back. Bravo to the owner of Schnippers, the burger and fries were excellent, reminds me of the In and Out Burger. Also my faith in humanity.

Pretty darn good hamburger, but not a place to go when you're on a diet. I got the bacon cheese burger. The bacon was crispy and the meat very flavourful. It's also not cheap. My burger with nothing else was $14. A chocolate shake is $7. It's an order at the entrance and then sit and they bring your food.

Okay, so I enjoyed this delicious Turkey Burger with bacon, guacamole. It was really amazing. What I'm not too convinced about is the price. 12$ no fries, no extras. Just the plain burger. That was boring. Was hoping to give 5 stars. Bit the price margin is too high for a small tasty hamburger.

Pretty good food. Much better than it used to be. The restaurant itself has also been renovated and look much better with more comfortable seating arrangements. The fountain sodas only come in one size and is self serve with free refills. They also have cups for water and a self serve station for that too.

My date and I ordered two different things on the menu. She ordered a special, I did not. They ran the card and we sat down. They came afterward and told her that they had run out of the components to make the special and asked to run her card again to upcharge the meal she ordered instead. Our food came out and my food was missing half of the entree because they'd run out of that as well. We will not be returning. The service was very polite, but they need to work on the communication between the front and back of house.

Do not drink the free water. It is littered with Bacteria! Drink at your own risk!! One star for the water that's making people sick. The rest of the food is okay, but if they don't mind being dirty for their water, wonder how clean the rest of their equipment is that we don't see...

My 4th time there last week and there was a sweet young lady that came from the kitchen to go to the bathroom and seen myself trying to help my mother who was struggling with her walker and came over to us to help. It was so nice of her because most employees in restaurants would just walk by. She asked us if we needed anything and asked how our food was. Her name was Wintah. With a beautiful smile she should be at the register. Her smile and kindness will have customers wanting to come more !! And food is delicious!

Ive eaten here before and it was pretty good. Enough to make me wanna come back. Reminds me of a old school version of five guys. Unfortunately this trip wasnt that great. I dined in today and the fries were cold and either cooked in old grease or re-dipped to reheat. Either way they were no where near as great as last time. Burger was ok but bun was hard on top which probably means it was in the warmer to long. Even the service wasnt as great as last time. Cashier just walked up to the register and didnt say anything...lol...so there was this awkward silence for a minute until I spoke. Only bright spot was the gentleman who brought my food to the table, super pleasant, wish I had gotten his name.

Beautiful place, serving delicious and halal cheese burgers. Yes, they use all natural Creekstone beef, hence it’s halal. Marinated ahead of time, grilled to perfection on the spot, topped with melted cheese and served in a toasted bun, these people are passionate about their meat. Modern décor, the place has a bright and airy vibe. The store manager, Darwin, is a very humble and caring person. Usually behind the counter, serving up orders, he hands it to you with a smile. And this customer service isn’t just limited to the manager, it actually expands to the entire staff. The staff is attentive and friendly.

Was my second time here and I am always impressed on how fresh the food tastes. The staff is super friendly and the interior is well designed and makes your feel comfortable eating there. The chicken tenders are so tender! They are made very well and the portion is decent for the area. You def get more quality for the same amount you would spend and at some of the fast food spots. Nice selection of cookies and brownies too!

can never go wrong with schnippers... nice that this location has outdoor seating (even though its right outside the stuff port authority). All of their chicken items are my favorite and they also make a really good salad! this location is very spacious with a good amount of seating and good for people watching with the big glass windows. they also low key have some of the best milkshakes!

This seems like a place that exists based purely on location convenience. I've Ben here several times hoping it will impress but giving up at this loint. Cashier got order wrong twice, food preparation time is surprisingly slow, regardless of if you ordered a salad or burger or how busy the place is. My boyfriend ordered the Crispy Heat Chicken sandwich. It definitely was spicy but it was very tasty. I liked how crunchy the chicken was as well. I ordered the creamy mac n cheese, I wouldn't recommend ordering it. It tasted like it came out of the box. It was creamy but not in a good way. Their service is great though, the cashier was super nice and I wasn't expecting our food to be brought out since we were outside and had the thing that alerts you to pick up your food inside. Would like to come back again.

Was going to the cafe next door but decided I wanted a Hot dog on a rainy night for dinner. Was I impressed the moment I walked into the door. The billboard size menu board was a bold statement. The Southern Cheese dog and root beer took care of business and it was delicious. The hot fries was truly comforting. The place is huge and it looks good. Service fast and efficient. Good, made-to-order burgers. Fries are hot and crispy. Spacious, sit-down interior for your dining comfort. Place your order at the counter, and park yourself at a table while your food is prepared. They bring the food to you, once it's done cooking.

A great place to grab a quick lunch. The restaurant has plenty of seating you'll never be standing up. I like how you can ask how you want the patties cooked because that is a sign that they grind their own. We ordered the hickory bacon blue burger and the hamburger with everything on it with fries and cole slaw as the sides. The food came out fast and it was delicious.

Delightfully surprised by the food, service and decor of this location. I was initially perplexed at the extended time it took for my food to arrive (there were many patrons who were also waiting for long too), to realize that the food is thoughtfully prepared. Felt as though I had gone to a sit-in cafe. The chicken club sandwich is perfectly prepared; the whole wheat bread option is a nice touch coming from a fast food burger eatery! Definitely coming back!

Waited 27 mins for a simple order of southwestern sandwich. There were hardly 3 other customers in the entire restaurant. Asked for my order multiple times and finally got it cancelled and money returned.

If I could give this place a -5 I would. 1st of all the food is very average.Secondly I went with a friend of mine he ordered a 2 Burger plate I ordered one special Burger and they even screwed that up. They put my Burger in place of 1 of his and I had a cheeseburger. We fix the error ourselves but the people that work there could care less. And the person that brought the order to the table reminded me of something from the walking dead. He placed the order on the table said nothing went away. no personality No communication no chance I would ever go back to this place

I am trying to be generous here. The girl who took our orders (7/3 at about 8pm) had to go ask another girl if the item was still available. After several such trips turns out turkey wrap was not available. So we got one sandwich and a refund receipt and had to go back to the ordering line and start over. We ordered fries with the sandwiches but never got them. The food was good but got cold by the time we finally got everything. Maybe earlier would be better but our experience was hassle and frustration. :-(

Prices are as you would expect for the area. The only real reason you'd chose this place over one of the nearby Shake Shacks is if you wanted to guarantee you'd get a table.

Awesome awesome awesome staff here. They were so excited to recommend all their most popular burgers and other menu options. I loved the avocado crispy chicken sandwich. It was super tasty and if I could I would have eating a solid 10 sandwiches. The milkshakes are a perfect way to end your milk even though you may be stuffed but because the food is so good, it will be imperative that you complete your meal the best way possible. Definitely a place to go back to for lunch with friends or quick take out.

I spent $20 for a blue cheese burger, cheese fries, and a fountain soda. The portion was very small the burger was under cooked. I feel that the meal was no better than a fast food place if anything it was worse and was easily twice the cost. Very bad value for money.

I'm a big fan of Schnipper's 23rd street and this was my first time trying the downtown location. Service was adequate but unenthusiastic. My burger was well cooked and tasty. My only criticism is the multilevel space seems a bit cramped. This new downtown Schnipper's is a preferable alternative to the crowds of tourists at nearby ShakeShack outposts.

If I could give this Schnipper's 10 stars, I would! I live in Philadelphia, but travel to NYC often, so whenever I'm there, I primarily always have lunch at this particular Schnipper's location because it's close to Port Authority. No matter how many times I've been there, I have always had the most positive experiences. The restaurant always looks clean and organized. The staff who works at the registers and takes the orders are always so nice, friend, and helpful. The food is consistently fresh and meticulously placed on the tray when they bring it to my table. Honestly, I've never had anything but an outstanding experience at this branch. You know, a lot of people have a preconceived idea in their heads that New York is rude, inconsiderate, and cold. But that is so not true. I love New York. I love New Yorker's. And I love Schnipper's. Thank you, NEW YORK!

Walked in at 11:02 without knowing the store closes at 11pm. The dinning room was full of people still eating. Employee ran over to me and said “what are you doing “ after rudely telling me that they’re closed , I explained that all I wanted to buy was a drink to go since the dinning room was still crammed of people. He said no you have to leave and walked me out. Terrible customer service and I will most certainly never be returning.

Schnippers never disappoints. If you are in the 42nd st time square area make it a point to stop by here for some yummy hamburgers, sandwiches and fries. You can also try their limited items like their chicken and waffle sandwich which is currently available and it’s so delicious. Check them out next time you are in the area.

A pretty good, moderately priced restaurant located right by the Port Authority Bus Terminal. It's a casual place to eat before you go to the theater. There are a lot of items to choose from including hot sandwiches, burgers, salads and chicken. The milkshakes are very good. All are served fresh and hot and the staff is friendly and attentive.

I put away the big schnipp and a cheese burger before I was full but the flavor was good. $5 to add a beyond Patty as a sub to a beef Patty is almost disrespectful and way over priced. Wife went with a salad instead because she didn't want to spent $16+ just for a vegetarian burger. Not a place for people with diet restrictions but for a regular meat eater like myself, it wasn't bad. Not the greatest, but not bad.

(They also have 2 types of hot sauce & sriracha for all my hot sauce enthusiasts). Customer service was fast too. If you order in, they bring the food right to you.

I went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and I was impressed! The Schnipp burger was very tasty, cooked to perfection, and just as or better than Shake Shack. The milkshakes took a while to get to us, but those were also very good. Will definitely be back.

When it comes to getting yourself some good ol' burgers this spot does not disappoint at all. Schnipper's has a great menu of pure Americana food and no dearth of delicious burgers and sandwiches to choose from. My most recent trip was to their Times Square location and I had their chicken fingers & fries. I can't overstate how DELICIOUS their fries were that day. My goodness. Their chicken fingers are so damn drool-worthy. Great crisp on the outside and super tender on the inside. I do not know why I waited this long to order just that dish. I also grabbed their Cremini Mushroom burger with fresh creminis, a special cheese blend and their house truffle mayo and it was unreal. If this isn't a fixture on their regular menu it needs to be. Can't wait till my next Schnipper's meal.

Food is good, really tasty. But please please fix your online delivery and pick up protocol. If you order online it’ll take 40 min to just cook the meal and they might not even accept your order at all (that’s what happened to me and it wasn’t even prime time). So instead, ordered online and went to the store for pick up to save time but.. had to wait 25 min at the store for my food to be ready. All through door dash by the way. There were tons of people waiting for food through pickup and they all seemed very annoyed and disappointed. Schnippers at other locations are very quick.

I work not too far from this location and I went there recently to place an order. Unfortunately the young lady messed up my order and I called back to speak with the manager Darwin. He went above and beyond. My meal was replaced and on top of that it was delivered directly to my office. The young lady who delivered it was also very sweet and didn't even want to accept a tip. It's really refreshing to see that true customer service still exists. The Church Street Schnipper's is very fortunate to have not only a superb manager like Darwin but also great friendly staff! It goes without saying.... I will be back again....

I didn't know that people had to order lettuce, tomatoes or cheese separately for a burger, and if you don't, It will only be bread with patty (only) that will be served to you if you need a regular burger. Very neanderthal-ish technique.

We’ve been one week in New York und visited Schnippers for the first time. We had a Greek Salat, a cheese burger, a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The staff was very kind and the food was delicious! You can also refill your drinks. It was clean and all in all a good experience! Thank you for that!

Been coming here for many years now. Been a lover of their chicken sandwich (named Bros done right club sandwich) paired with sweet potato fries. These fries come with a maple sauce which is such a great taste combo. I generally get my food to go, but lately I've been eating there. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the table when eating in. I have yet to see any employee wipe down the tables at all with any cleaning solution when people leave the table. They walk around with clear gloves and just pick up large crumbs and missing any small crumbs. A quick wipe with some cleaning solution would be nice since I find tables tend to be sticky/grimy to touch...a minor gripe. Main thing is the food is solid and pretty consistent overall.

Ate there twice- the first one was excellent, took the cheeseburger and cheese fries and it was excellent. Five stars for that. Second time I arrived 30 mins before closing, took the special burger and home fries since they were out of cheese fries. Apparently they were out of ingredients because it came almost naked. When I asked about the toppings they said they were out. Well don't sell it if you can't make it... also the sodas out of the machine was flat. Three stars for that. After all they have good food and good service, just don't go before closing.
