This place is amazing !

Endrich Reveil

The French toast was delish! Great music and fun vibe.

Desiree Galazin

Great food and service. Excellent Brunch

Ann Willing

This is a must! It's small, but it's worth the wait. The employees are kind and attentive. They make sure they can seat you as soon as they can. The place is clean and the food is delicious. If you get lucky and sit at the bar facing the kitchen you can watch them cook everything.Try the well known Big Mec, you can't go wrong with that. And munch on as much bread as you can, it's addictive! The parking lot is small, and after a certain time towards the evening the lot becomes strictly valet.

Martha Fitzsimons

Too loud to have a pleasant time. Wouldn't come back probably. But they do have huge pitchers of sangria if you'd like bottomless brunch!

Jennifer Almeida

Elegant but warm and friendly too. The brunch was delicious and the service was prompt, courteous and very helpful. The place was bustling on a rainy Sunday morning but we were made very comfortable at the counter. We will definitely be back.

Marianna V S

The backyard is super-cute. The servers are very nice. The timing of the food is uneven, and the food is meh.

michael lantino

fun brunch, nice backyard space

Elodie Hintermann

My favorite French Restaurant in Nyc. In fact, My favorite restaurant "Toutes catégories confondues". Everything is a delight here. The food is always cooked to perfection ,fish or meat and the seasonings highlight the freshness of the dishes in a delicious way. Cocktails are by real mixologists and their menu is original with all the classics you need. Thumbs up to the Mojito and the Spritz. The wine list is diverse and offers an amazing selection of grands crus and / or affordable red, white or rose by the glass. Real french bread

Chun-Da Jimmy Chen

Good restaurant with nice atmosphere, food was okay.

Oliver Horjus

Amazing traditional French food with a slight modern twist

Christophe Cochon

Good French food and wine selection. Not overpriced.

Charlotte Hanson

I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE!! I usually try to make it out for the semi annual DineLA events, to take advantage of the pre-fixe menu- but will come in here and there as the menu items change. THE FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. The customer service is stellar! They even print a name place card on your table when you make a reservation. Everything I've come in, the experience is fabulous.

Matt Dozier

Great brunch.

Parijat Lal

Crowded and loud but the brunch food more than made up for it. Would have been a 5-star review but our food took more than an hour to arrive - the waiters recognized this and were apologetic, which was nice.

Alyssa Gunn

Best mimosas

Ebrahim Bandookwala

Slow service, the staff was courteous but also slow . They dont do well with big groups . The food is strictly average - dont order the tunisian eggs ! - The canned marinara base was not what I was expecting .. and with fried eggs - something I can do with my eyes closed even in a NYC apt ! I was expecting eggs baked in sauce - like a shakshuka !

Marc-Antoine Denechaud

The true French atmosphere with American service!

Jean Chambon

Lovely French restaurant

Christopher Martin

Excellent food, cocktails, and service. We went around 11:30pm for small plates and drinks. When we walked in, it sounded like we were walking into a club. The loud club music continued throughout our entire dinner. It made it very difficult to have conversations. I'm not sure if it's always like this but it was odd for a place than mainly looked like a restaurant.

William K

Warm and welcoming interior and delicious brunch! The brussel sprouts were so amazing we decided to order another one, but the second plate was overcooked and soggy as opposed to the perfectly cooked first plate. Disappinting in that regards, but i hope it doesn't happen often. Bottomless mimosas was also nice.

Lily Winkler

Good food. Really great date spot. Bar on both sides of the restaurant. Cute atmosphere with all french cast. The garden is really delightful during the summer.

Shakis Drummond

I went to Pardon My French for brunch and mimosas and it was delicious! I really loved the ambiance of the building.

Eng Pearla

Great food & drinks. Their bottomless brunch was lovely. Tiny space though & crowded must book ahead. Popular & noisy!

Ralph Gillotte

Great little spot for and Wine and Food, a touch pricey but not too bad.

Kiranteja chadalawada

Brunch is great. Drinks are great. Cash only

Umang Suhalka

Worst Experience Ever! Went there for a Sunday brunch. Made a reservation but still had to wait for an hour! Took the drinks+food option and as the drinks came, the server poured and took the pitcher away. We had to ask again and again to refill our glasses. The food was terrible. French Toast was not available so they offered Steak Sandwich instead. The sandwich was cold and unappetizing. Felt like I was biting through ice. I asked the server if I could order something else from the brunch menu instead and he said sure. I ordered an omelette because there were not many options available. The omelette was the same, terribly cold and tasteless. When the check came, I was shocked to see the omelette on there and that too for $25! I will never ever go there again even for a snack let alone a Sunday afternoon. Terrible ambiance and rude servers with little to no options. Most of the reviews here are paid or by the food bloggers who get free meals.

Donna Fowler

Pardon My French is a French style bistro. It has the classic French food as well as modern. The service is attentive and helpful. Everyone has a smile. The bar is also a pleasant place to sit and sip on a cocktail or two. The wine list is good and lots of the wine comes by the glass. Well worth a visit or 2.

William Crawford

It's a cool place to brunch. The service was not the best, and we never got our last round of bottomless mimosas, but it wasn't terrible. I do think it's peculiar that they only take cash though. And the man who ripped a menu out of my hand to show someone else something was super rude.

William Swenson

Came for brunch on a Sunday while on vacation from Chicago. Fun atmosphere and we had great service from our server down to the bus staff. All the food at the table was top notch and delicious. We did the bottomless brunch with Mimosas and contrary to some other reviewers, we thought they were great and quite boozy. Will come again.

Guillermo Fernandez

Overpriced hipster place. Regular food and slow service.

Cheikhouna Mbacke

Amazing french restaurant bar that I highly recommend

Alyssa Gonzalez

The service here is lovely. I've never used the word lovely to describe much of anything. Our waiter was funny and really nice. He also gave us some great recommendations. My S/O and I went on a night where they were serving delicious stinky cheese. I personally had the OX tail dinner and it was amazing. I found myself licking the bone. I will be coming back here.

Tim He

Nice place nice food and nice service

Abhilash Mohanty

Amazing place for brunch! Definitely try their pancakes. It's amazing.

Andrew Pavelescu

Great service and delicious food. Came here for brunch with a few friends. We sat outside and enjoyed the bottomless deal they have! The only catch is the brunch is cash only

Samantha Shum

Fun and delicious place for brunch.

David Fabian

Went for a bottomless boozy brunch. Food was good, drinks were bottomless. The staff is amazing, helpful and nice which is an amazing feat considering that the place was super packed, and everybody was shouting, drinking. Keep in mind that the place gets extremely loud and busy.

sulay restrepo

Brunch brunch!!!

Amar Kher

Very disappointed. Nice servers and ambiance, but nothing positive to say beyond that. Flavourless, uninspired food and poor quality wine. Even the bread was stale.

Supermanx55 jo

Nice place a tad overpriced for ok food though

Deniss Zolotoj

Everything was amazing, great service, very good ambiance, and of course delicious food, great choice to come eat and have a lovely time!

Atef Ali

Brunch feedback Pros - Food is excellent. - Nice restaurant. - Excellent service. Cons - The place was crowded and loud as the restaurant is small. - It is cash only during the brunch which it is inconvenient. - I made a reservation for 2 2 days before thr brunch and I showed up on time, the hostess informed me that I have to wait as they had a large group booked and I they will find a table for me. what is the point of making reservation?! but they found a table right away.

Meghan Petersen

Bottomless brunch is the move! Super fun staff. Everyone speaks French! Food was above average. Fun place to celebrate birthdays.

Anda Totoreanu

Fantastic ambiance, really good service and a sumptuous menu. Well done!

Adam Halliwell

A brunch favourite, the waiters are funny and get my English humour (which is a rarity in NYC!), drinks and food to fill you up on a Sunday for $20.. and it's good! They have no problem with the basics, nor with being nice and always attentive. Worth it for the filling pancakes alone!

Jaina Bowne

Sat in the garden for a date. Got the salmon and it was insanely good. I'm dairy-free so they altered the dish for me without extra charge or fuss.

Melissa Grady

Great food and a really fun atmosphere! Fun music to dance to whole you dine!

Louis LaFata

Amazing food, amazing service, honored our reservation and the restaurant is beautiful. we sat in the front and had tons of natural morning light for brunch. I highly recommend.

Amogh Prabhu

Probably the worst Food I've ever had. It is a restaurant in New York City that only accepts cash. Went with a party of friends and we all ended up getting sick afterwards. Food was not enjoyable at all and the portions were very small.

Florence Do Huu

Love this place atmosphere’s service and food was on point ! Have a lovely outside patio garden in back. We shared some outstanding appetizers of which I highly recommend the Steak tartare, burrata is out of this world , octopus was perfectly cooked and selection of French cheese was a delight. Wine selection perfect and bar tender makes awesome cocktails. Will definitely be back ! This place is a NYC gem a must try :)

Ronie Pastko

Amazing flavors and wonderful service.

Mohamed Traore

THE GUY THREW MY TIP AT ME. WAITER WITH THE TATTOO’s. I went with my girlfriend for brunch and this guy didn’t even bring us water. Not a single glass during our entire meal. I ordered bottomless brunch and he gave me a single glass and didn’t give me the pitcher. I HAD ONE SINGLE MIMOSA THE ENTIRE MEAL. I later told him I didn’t want to do bottomless anymore because we had finished our meals and it didn’t make sense for me to pay for bottomless when I had only one glass. He says it’s fine and he’ll take care of it. Then I get the check and he charged me for that single mimosa. Food took forever to come out, didn’t give us any water for our meals, and didn’t give me bottomless. I shouldn’t have tipped the guy at all. I work hard for my money and this guy literally didn’t do a single bit of work and he expected 15%? No way. So as I was walking out of the restaurant he THREW MY TIP AT MY BACK. My hard earned money. Think about this next time you decide to dine here.

johnny white

Their food is amazing! The staff is great as well. Very friendly and sweet. We were waiting for it for a while, when I asked the waitress to find out when it's going to be ready. They apologized for the wait and comped the whole meal! It was a nice treat and I am definitely going back, this time not for the free meal :) Just make sure you bring cash with you. No credit cards here.

Shannon Morales

So the pros for me are the great atmosphere and unlimited mimosas during brunch. The food was ok, if I had to order anything it would be the Nutella French toast.

Debora Levi

Love it

Nicolas B

Great place, good music, good service, good drinks, good food.

Annie Leong

Flavor of food went down, but boozy brunch!

Ericka Buyco

Been here a few times for dinner and brunch. Wait is never too long and the food is delicious. Vibe is also very frenchesque. Croquette Madame

Sabina Randebrock

Great service, especially when Steven is your waiter. Good quality of food, wonderfully absurd outside. Thanks, Steven und viel Glück.

Nandini Mazumdar

Delicious spot for brunch!!

Tyler Nghiem

Amazing service and great food! Definitely get the Brussels sprouts and the Scandinavian Benedict.

Hector Arturo gomez

Great service. Great food. Great ambiance

Francis Noyes

I rated this 1 star even though I have never been there. I did this because the restaurant has a stupid name and serves no actual french food.

Phyllisa Freeman

What a wonderful time we had celebrating my daughters birthday! The food was delicious. We all ordered something different and we all loved our meals. The service was excellent. We brought our own cake and they were so nice to add candles, drizzle with chocolate and sing happy birthday! I have been here a few times and I highly recommend this neighborhood gem. Lovely!

Kory Bevacqua

Bartenders drinking behind the bar and poor, slow service. The night started off promising but service continued to dip. Wine and cocktails were good, food wasn't anything impressive. Will not be back due to poor service.

Yesenia Lopez

I booked a brunch reservation for 15. The food was delicious, high quality especially for a pre-fixed brunch. Our waiter Joe was the absolute best. It was pouring and most of our guests were running over 20 minutes late but he stayed in good spirits and not once complained. He was extremely attentive and made sure everyone had a great time. The venue has a very fun and active atmosphere. Great playlist! Very high energy. I was hoping to make a toast but the music was too loud for it, yet not too loud that you can't enjoy your meal or carry a conversation with those at your table. My only complaint is with their reservations team? manager? The signature to the replies simply stated, "sent via iPhone". You have to contact them via email for reservations over 10, which is pretty standard. However, whoever handles reservations is unresponsive. The responses were delayed and they did not answer all the questions emailed, which got to be frustrating. Also, I told them I would be paying via credit card and when I arrived was told that it was cash only. We were then directed to use the ATM across the street, which only allows you to withdraw $200 at a time, (applying fees each time). Despite this, it was still a great experience. I would highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

Max Sinelnikov

Dinner was fine but they "accidentally" charged me almost 10,000 dollars for a dinner that was supposed to under 100 as they forgot to input the period for centrs transaction. Did not even tell this as I was still in the restaurant and had to find out through my credit card company. Emailed management and they were basically non-responsive. Be wary of paying with credit cards here...

Isabelle Olsen

I think that Francis is correct!

Jim Adams

Very good food. Exceptional service. Not particularly cheap, yet not particularly expensive, given New York standards. Be prepared to be in close proximity to other diners who will pay no attention to you at all whatsoever. But wear black, just in case.

Agnieszka Koscielniak

Good food, but desserts a bit disappointing. Ambience bof - weird music and no AC made us to leave fast.

Alexian Taymer

Two stars for atmosphere - it is a very cozy and romantic spot. However, the service was incredibly slow and the food was disappointing. In particular, avoid the salmon; it was not very fresh and the cauliflower accompaniment did not work at all.

Rafael Yau

Lovely small french restaurant with a small garden in the back. Very romantic and great restaurant to being your date too. I promise you your date will be impressed. The food here is amazing full of flavor and well seasoned. Good patio outside for dining. Atmosphere feels comfortable and relaxing. Overall great looking restaurant and the cocktails are on point.

Renan Leonel

Great food and staff! Affordable prices for LES

Christine Rosario

Food was great but our waitress didn’t seem to know much English :( and the AC was broken I think. It was soooo hot eating inside, that was a bummer.

Loïc Coënt

It could have been perfect, nice place, friendly staff, very good main dish, but SO WARM, we were liquefied before main course. Also, the music was too loud to have a conversation. And dessert were just ok. Dommage, but can easily be improved !

Maxz Spen

Amazing. Foods & wine selection. Cannot wait to repeat.

Harriette Lane

Fun decor and good service but the music was so loud. We were there for brunch and couldn’t hear each other because of how loud the music was. The food was pretty bland too.

Steven May Ohio

Great food, amazing service. Love Antoine and his boys!

Bobby Tumpak

Fun, modern French bistro. Loud music and exciting takes on classic French cuisine. A nice outdoor garden and front bar make this place a star.

Dylan Martin

Lovely decor and wonderful frenchly accented service to go with. The escargot was exceptional, the duck was delicious, and both desserts shared were simply decadent. Looking forward to seeing how their brunch and cheese selection compares next time I'm looking to go French. Also, there's a cute little outside area you may not notice at first glance as it's down a small set of stairs in the back and shrouded in shrubbery. FYI.

Jim Aldridge

It was ok - three stars. Decent Moroccan egg dish and ok Bloody Mary. Loud. Even though it was Cinco de Mayo, doubling the volume to play the 'shots' song - really?! Minus a star for not taking cards. It's 2019. Figure out a way to build in the swipe fees, I don't want to walk two blocks in the rain to find an ATM.

cv0669

Amazing food, strong drinks, and the staff was super nice

Jonathan Guez

Food was good, service was terrible and the music was too loud. The speakers were at capacity and it was just a terrible experience. For brunch anyway...

Jeff Nabity

Solid brunch food that is a little overpriced, but a good deal when done with unlimited mimosas. This place is often crowded and loud, so get a reservation, and don't forget they are cash only!

Nicky Kenickie

garbage! don't waste your time and money

Sarah Philby

Nice relaxed decor, but recently seems like it’s trying to be a club! Great if you’re looking for that vibe, but not if you’re looking for a chill drink.

jeniffer roldan

Came for brunch yesterday for Mother's Day & I have to say for a busy day their service was excellent! There was a bit of a wait for the food because of some problem with the printer were they order the food but the manager came right over, let us know about the issue and was even courteous enough to handle the bill when we were about to leave. Food was amazing def recommend!

Nichole Irene

This place was super yummy! Their back courtyard is cute and the wine selection is fantastic! This is a great space to eat with friends and split a bottle of wine

Decided to stop by Pardon My French last Sunday around 4pm, at first we were just going to have a drink by the bar and go elsewhere for dinner but then decided to stay. The bar here is as good as any for date night or a solo dinner, while the rear garden is one of the city’s most under-the-radar outdoor dining spaces modern riffs on French bistro classics. Very cute patio!! We were seated by the end of the bar and all waiters decided to stand around there to argue about who is staying after brunch. There was 3 or four servers standing there with a stack of cash ready to start counting and telling each other “Im not closing brunch” or “who will be on the floor?”. After what felt like a very long time someone was forced to “close brunch”. Seems like peace was restored so we asked if we could move to a table to have food (and also move away from where seems to be the waiters HQ). We were informed there was no food till 6pm when the kitchen reopens for dinner. Alright, another drink it is then! Finally 6pm comes around and we can order dinner…the anticipation was making me even hungrier. I guess not hungry enough to look passed the bland food. I had the confit duck and it was OK but nothing even near OMG THIS IS VERY DELICIOUS kinda duck. My friend had the burger and said was ok but come guys it’s a BURGER!! If you mess up a burger than we are in trouble right?! Many bars and restaurants on the East Village have familiar elements: model-like bartenders in possibly ripped jeans, waiters with stylish looks (some trying way to hard!), a drink list that features some kind of “exotic homemade” cocktail, I get it, you’re cool! PMF is exactly that, “cool”…maybe too cool to even pay attention to its customers or God forbid try harder with their food.

Tim Hand

Unlimited drinks on a boozy Saturday brunch. This place oozes charm with an European feel. What bars should be, and top notch service.

Liz Bui

I went there for dinner with 3 of my friends. Waiter was friendly but forgot our sides for the table. We ran out of water after we finished our apps and did not get more until the time we asked for the check, about 1.5 hours later. Our two sides came out 30 minutes after our entrees were dropped on the table. The waiter never apologized for the wait or updated us on the time. The manager came over and didn't know we were missing items until i brought it up to him. We got a dessert from the waiter at the end, which was nice, but does not deter from the fact that he messed up our order, made us wait, never apologized for it, did not notify the manager so he can expedite the process. I come from a restaurant background and as a manager, not only would I have comped the sides, I would've been at the table checking in on the guests the moment I found out something was wrong. Overall, service was mediocre since they were short staffed (one server, one manager, and a food runner that doubled as a bus boy). Staff was not attentive and management was never around to make sure things were running smoothly. Would not come back.

Ahmer Murad

Some of the dishes were exceptional, others could have been better. Particularly loved the bone marrow, truffle fries, and escargot. The octopus was very well cooked but lacked a little something; maybe a bit of acidity would help. The tables are tiny and very close together, it's noisy, and really too dark. They literally have a night-light in the unisex toilet. The service was friendly and attentive.

Jason Kahn

Love this place great food

Dev Dav

Went for my wife's birthday brunch and PMF did not disappoint. The staff was so nice and attentive. I love the decor and it was not like some of the city boozy bottomless brunches that can get really loud and sloppy. The food was delicious and came out pretty quickly. I love the pancakes and was absolutely stuffed after.

Ayannali Williams

Food was good

Trishana Brown

Great customer service

Malik Mazhar Sheikh

A bit on an expensive end and is okay considering what around in ev. Brunch has been my best experience. Outdoor seating is a nice play in summer

Aidan Porter

This place breathes new life into you! Great staff and food... and bottomless drinks...

Arturo Retes López

Awesome place, great service, and prices are okay. Also the owner is a really nice and polite person, he's always around and making sure customers are satisfied and comfortable with everything; the staff is also great. Greatly recommended if you're searching for a bar in the East Village!!

Alisande

I was a fan of this spot for many years when it was Casimer and miss the Tangine dishes. While the menu has morphed a few times, I come here on my *Off Vegan days and indulge in the Vol Au Vent Aux Coeur de Poulet. So intensely good. Escargot and Steak never disappoint and the wine is always delicious. Red that is because white is not wine ;)The memories this place has goes back to early 2000 so we are talking almost 20 years of Chasing the Sun brunches. Later nights with friends and lovers in this perfectly dim lit E. Village local were always a good bet. Everything about this place is NYC. The double room (bar on left) to the mosaic arch connecting the two worlds in one doorway. I will always come here with loved ones and never alone. If anyone reading this knows wher the large framed weathered picture of a women went that adorned the wall on the attached bar, please reply here.

Joseph Saavedra

Great spot in the East village. Service was top quality, and food was of equal Caliber. We ordered the grilled octopus to start and it was very good. For entree we had the steak for two, and it is highly recommended. Supreme quality food. The drinks were also exceptional. It was rather expensive, but this quality of service, food, and drink is always rather expensive when dining in Manhattan. Great for date, better to go later than earlier in the evening to avoid crowd.

Del Duaned

Very lively around brunch time. The food is delicioso... the mimosas..not that strong.

Johnny B

No wait, great food, great service for French restaurant. Decent wine special, I will add this to my list of spots in the hood.

A C

Great brunch

Leo Vergara

Food is decent but be weary; i go charged $125 for someone else’s bill and even though i was promised a quick resolution, i have yet to get my money back (going on five weeks). Do you really want to eat at a place like this?

Julien Van Wambeke-Long

Went here for the unlimited boozy brunch and was not disappointed. My server recommended the pancakes and lauded their fluffiness. They did not lie, they were fluffy and delicious.

Sara B Cooper

Although the food was good, and Stephen, the server was excellent, the music was so loud you had to shout to be heard. They forgot one of entres and we waited for 30 minutes, finally calling the manager over. He did manage to get the dish delivered within minutes. They comped us for that dish, but it was not a comfortable experience.

Ken Cheung

Good food and good attentive service from waiters and manager. Price is not expensive. Some reviewers say they only accept cash but this is not true. They do accept credit card at dinner time. Cash only is just for brunch on weekend. Restaurant opens at 5:30pm for dinner and people seems go there late. It closes at 2am from Sunday to Wednesday and closes at 4am from Thursday to Saturday. Finding a street parking is not difficult around the neighborhood. We had the roasted bone marrow and it is tasty but quite fatty. The mussels is very delicious. The Espresso Chocolate Mousse desserts tastes quite sweet for me. Good to try this casual French cuisine restaurant and bar.

Naifei Liu

The food is so good!

MaresaWick

What a beautiful gem in that neighborhood. Gorgeous restaurant/bar, incredible food that blew us away. I was not expecting such amazing, delicious food when meeting friends there for drinks. Great drinks and great service.

Alfredo de Sousa Pinto

Enjoyed the food and ambience!

Chef J

The food was delicious and the energy was high! Nice brunch spot.

W Y

Lovely restaurant with a nice back garden. Good selection of wine. The steak was cooked well. So were the fries. We tried both the original and the truffle fries and they were both good but I preferred the texture of the truffle ones better. Burger was good too. Tried bone marrow and the crab salad for appetizers. The crab salad smelled like canned tuna for some reason?! But it was good. Profiteroles were really good.

James Gittens

Pardon My French has sneakily become one of my favorite restaurants. I went with my girlfriend last night and realized it's one of our top repeat restaurants in NYC. The service is always good and the food is great! The bouillabaisse I had was outstanding. My girlfriend got the chicken which was incredibly juicy and flavorful. Would recommend to anyone for date night!

Angela Tonini

Such a cute, old timey feeling. Food was excellent, and the mimosas kept coming

Matthew Martinez

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. I was fairly excited based on the menus I saw online, but the reality for me was a disappointment. The menu was not very interesting, the food and wines were just ok (the Blind Tiger cocktail was a winner though—definitely the highlight of the meal) and the atmosphere is much more “scene-y club” than Parisian bistro. Maybe I am just an old fuddy-duddy but I would not rush to return; there are definitely more exciting places in the neighborhood.

Johnson Carolyn

Delightfully pleased by food, prices, and service at PMF, especially since went during prime brunch on the Saturday before New Year’s Eve. Wait staff was exceptionally attentive for a place that was packed and the meals didn’t disappoint. Everyone at our table was extremely pleased with their choices. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem!

Joshua Goldfarb

Great scene. Run by the friendliest Frenchmen!

Donna Mongelli

Popular Date spot. Good music- Great Bar & service..Overpriced for Brunch but enjoy it with a pitcher of Mimosas. Nice Ambiance and garden dining in summer would be a treat. $$ CASH ONLY $$ and that is why it is 2* MOVE into the 21 Century Already. Often it is crowded so get those rezzys in advance.

Diyang Yu

Really, really enjoyed my experience here. Walked in with high expectations, and walked away with an even higher heart. We sat in the garden, and the ambiance was very relaxing. The meal started out with baguettes (obviously) and butter. The butter had a tint of garlic in it, which dramatically enhanced the combined taste of the bread. I first ate the bone marrow, and dare I say it's probably the best bone marrow I've ever had. It's incredibly succulent, and the additional seasoning augmented the natural taste of the marrow. It melted in my mouth, and anything left in the actual bone was quickly scooped up by the bread that came along with it. I also ate the daily special, which was a rack of lamb. Overall, it was a very solid piece of meat, not too rare, and not too dry. It came with vegetables (also very good and crunchy) and potato soufflé. The soufflé was very creamy and and an excellent addition to the meal. Overall, it was a very good meal. Service was excellent as they attended to out every need and was very prompt about it. Excellent food with excellent service; what more could you ask for?

Steph Alexis

Their place was so cute and good. I loved their waffle and the eggs Benedict. This is such a great spot for brunch. Their creme brulee was great too. I would totally go back and try their lunch and dinner menus out. Just make sure you make a reservation or else you'll end up sitting at the bar eatting which isnt bad. But if you have an issue with people in your space then yeah make the reservation so you dont have soemown drinking on top of you. Also this is a really really tiny spot.

Irakliy Irakliy

Quiet, not noisy atmosphere, food is tasty, staff is so friendly. What else you need.

daniel ho

Great service and excellent food. Definitely will come back.

A Fed

Came for dinner. I see great reviews for bunch, so maybe this is a better brunch spot. As for dinner - Great atmosphere, very cute backyard but the food is overpriced. Burrata for $15 was clearly spilt in half. Salad Nicoise for almost $20 had canned tuna in it. The service was okay

Xiomara Segura

Beautiful place, good drinks, great food

Kristy Bora

Looking for a fun bottomless brunch place with good food , ambience and drinks and where u don't need to wait in long lines for it- voila !!! You found it. This place is great and everyone I have recommended it too have said the same thing. It lives up to your expectations I would say. And yea , CUTE waiters :) One tip- make reservations beforehand .

Ayush Shah

Fantastic brunch place in the East Village. The vegetarian options are somewhat limited but the music is fantastic and the place gets really loud - which makes it a challenge to get your servers' attention sometimes. The food itself is pretty decent and they have a good deal with bottomless mimosas or bellinis and it would be wise to remember that they are cash only!

Luna G

Great food! They have set brunch, with either coffee or bloody marry. There is a variety of food to choose from, and all the ones we ordered were good! The French roasts came with fresh fruits, and the one without Nutella tasted better in my opinion, as it was not overly-sweet. The Benedict was good, with nice salad dressing. The baked potatoes were also very flavorful. Portion was huge, and sharing is better if you cannot eat a lot. Great and polite service!

Monica Giraldo

Pardon is my absolute favorite brunch spot in New York City and one of my favorite restaurants too. It has been my go-to brunch spot since I moved to the city over three years ago.

Sean Johnson

Fantastic food and service.

Kuriositea Travels

The bottomless brunch is pretty decent, but get there early.

Disappointing. 1. Extremely loud, even at half capacity. All conversations will be shouted. 2. Service was weird and bad. We’d have to chase them down for anything we wanted, but they had time to convene every so often and scream something unintelligible, like we were leaving a huddle in a football game. 3. Food was mediocre. Selection was very much just okay, and then the omelette I ordered was perfectly prepared as intended but the most boring thing since plain toast. I make better omelets at home. 4. Pricey. At $100 for 3 people, it was (I guess) normal for a bougie brunch in the east village, but not normal in that I left still hungry.

I love the decor of flowers everywhere, although the loud music blasting is odd for lunchtime. The service was good and everyone was really nice and attentive and accomodating. I had steak and they cooked it perfectly for medium rare. It was so good I ate it all quicker than I expected. I forgot my sister's candles at home and they provided candles for our cake as well as gave each of my sister's complimentary chocolate mousse for their birthdays. They do a really good job at birthdays with sparkler candles. Everyone was really upbeat, friendly and nice. I would revisit for dinner in the future to try the dinner steak if the opportunity ever arises.

Friendly staff, good service. Brunch is very much geared to large, noisy groups with plenty of mimosas and some average food.

I tried to go for brunch, but it was ungodly loud and I couldn't even stand it long enough to read the menu. So disappointed.

Delightfully pleased by food, prices, and service at PMF, especially since we went during prime brunch on the Saturday before New Year’s Eve. Wait staff was exceptionally attentive for a place that was packed and the meals didn’t disappoint. Everyone at our table was extremely pleased with their choices. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem!

Nice atmospehere and good moules frites

Going there for an early dinner was definitely a mistake. It was hot and the ACs never seemed to cool the inside. There were mosquitoes in the open space outside. Inspite of all these, the food was great and cocktails amazing. Would've been so much better if it was cooler inside.

Bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary's are a joke. It doesn't have alcohol. The food was very okay. Not going back

Brunch special is great. Everything is delicious. The place gets really loud, but it's a nice place to be.

When I arrived at Pardon My French it was a Sunday afternoon around 1130. The line to be seated was outside of the door but this is mostly due to the lack of lobby or congregating space inside the establishment. Luckily I was in a party of two so we were seated at the bar within 15 minutes. The food was exquisite; their pancakes were the most delicious and beautifully plated breakfast I'd seen in a long time- naturally I ate the whole plate. The mimosas however - which were supposed to be unlimited with the Prix-fixe were rather flat and much more orange juice than champagne...I don't know anyone who orders a mimosa for the orange juice. The wait staff; while decked out in suspenders and cuffed jeans with slicked back hair certainly looked charming but the actual service was a little slow. Perhaps this was due to the crowd or the lack of walking space; either way my expectations were let down slightly. Overall; the food was great, the ambiance was lively and the decorations were antique but the wait staff and mimosas were not up to par for this CASH ONLY restaurant.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon with some friends. The wait was minimal even though the place was packed. The ambiance was fun and the wait staff was cheerful and swift. The first real problem with the place was the music is way too loud. If you want to engage in a conversation with the people sitting at your table you will need to shout. Their bottomless brunch is $30/person and is cash only. Which I find more annoying than anything since they have card machines and take them at other times of the day. But again, a minor annoyance. I ordered the French Toast and was pleased with my order. The French Toast was topped with Nutella, bananas, strawberries, blueberries and whip cream. Therefore, if you have a sweet tooth this is the dish to order. Your choice of beverage is either Mimosas or Bloody Mary's. Our table opted for the Mimosa. The concoction was extremely sugar and made it difficult to drink more than 1 or 2 glasses. Thankfully, when this was brought to the waiter and manager's attention, we were comped a free bottle of champagne.

Nice backyard and vibrant brunch scene. The food is more just New York fare than anything that reminded me of France.

eggy weggy is better

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant despite our foibles.

This is apparently a must for bottomless brunch in Manhattan. I wasn't impressed. Sure, we had endless supply of Mimosas, but it is entirely too crowded, and the food wasn't all that great. I've had better breakfast and brunch fare at the diner around the corner.

Cute little french place with an garden in the back. Very romantic. The wine, bread and food is good, true french cuisine. Memorable place. Vraie cuisine française!

Unprofessionnal service. Not French at all.

I want to preface this review by stating that the FOOD was absolutely delicious. The french toast and croque madame especially. However, I had quite a negative experience here and would like to share about it in hopes that a manager sees it one day. First of all, it was my birthday, so I made a reservation for 10 people on a Saturday morning. When we first arrived, we were told no one from the party was there yet. We looked back and saw all of our friends so we just went inside. 20 minutes later, 2 other friends came around the corner and said they were told to sit at the bar and wait for the last 30 minutes because no one was there. Come on people! The manager, finally apologized and promised our friends "a gift" for waiting alone(which they never received). Then, toward the end of our meal, they came out with sparklers and chocolate mousse to celebrate my birthday...and we were CHARGED FOR IT. No one at the table asked for it. It was sweet, but also a $10 dessert that we didn't even order. SUPER tacky. Anyway, when we received the bill, we wanted to make sure it was correct. Some of us ordered the bottomless mimosas, others didn't. When we had a discrepancy about a glass of champagne, the waiter pointed out that it had been comped and then said, "What, you want me to add it back?" No, sir, we were just making sure. Not very friendly. Finally, as we were tallying up the bill, he was standing over us and waiting for us to finish, rolling his eyes. So, in conclusion, the food was extra special, but the restaurant? I'll probably never go back.

Solid wine, good food. Lovely place. I can't wait until summer so the garden can be open again. A great little location.

Great food and a secret backyard garden!

Great neighborhood bar with good drink selection and friendly staff.

Ordered the pancakes with the bottomless bruch mimosas, and let me tell you, this is a GREAT deal for a 35 dlls. The pancakes are delicious and they are huge. The mimosas are strong and pretty good. Loved the vibe and the servers were awesome! Totally reccomend this place

Very crowded during weekend brunch but we had great service and really enjoyed our time (and bottomless mimosas).
