This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Italian restaurant.
Awesome any time of day. Always delicious.
We’ve been here before for brunch and liked it. I actually preferred it for dinner. The dining room has a great atmosphere and the service is awesome. I have to say the food was particularly good. The pasta was cooked perfectly and tasted spectacular. Deserts were also good. We didn’t try the wine list but the margaritas were great. Book in advance as it’s popular. It’s certainly not the cheapest place but well worth it.
Solid Italian food in a Tribeca style setting
Very good food and pastry was delicious. Unfortunately when we arrived dishes placed on the table was dirty.
The food here is amazing - loved the carpaccio and the burrata in particular.
Great food great service
I was at this restaurant for a corporate dinner. Food was outstanding. Atmosphere was exciting, a bit noisy for conversation but not too bad. Service was great. Located in a very hip part of Manhattan. Liked it alot.
Expensive brunch, $17 bloody mary, underwhelming food. Dinner is a whole different story, pasta is excellent.
Great place for breakfast. Pancakes are delicious!
Tutti deliciously, it’s a great restaurant in TriBeCa. Italian food, the menu is not so extensive but it’s quality. You are going to enjoy and have a great time with the beautiful ambience and the excellent food! The service is great!
Food is delicious.
Good food. Don't like the owner though
Quality food and excellent service. Babysitter canceled last minute and even though reservations did not include a high chair, we were quicker accommodated. The Berkshire pork was perfect and the blueberry dessert was amazing. Highly recommended.
Nice atmosphere. Great drinks.
Eating at the Bar is even better. Try everything on the menu. Enjoy
Limited menu but very tasty all the same.
Amazing food and service. I'm glad I got to do lunch there
Sheep's milk ricotta, meatball slides, Grandma's ravioli. That's all you need to be transported to Italian paradise.
Everything we had was so delicious! Even their table bread was like a crisp foccacia with soft inside (perfect). We had squid ink seafood pasta which was delicious, the chicken (serving size for 1 was like half a chicken and fed 5 of us among all the other things we ordered), brussel sprouts were tasty, pork trio was yum (a little hard to split between people), the ravioli is nothing to rave about, but it was decent. I want to come back and order the whole menu!
Amazing service. Very well trained staff. Highly recommend just on this one point. My party and I were very impressed. Food was also very yummy. Recommend the scone and zucchini coffee cake from the pastry section of there menu. Both where light and fluffy and not overly sweet. My friends and I got the French toast, which I highly recommend as well. I don't particularly like ordering french toast outside just because its generally very soggy and mushie even though that's how they should be. Locanda Verde does make it super good and for me it's a definite must get item off there brunch menu. The polenta was also delicious. Very light if you prefer something less filling in the AM.
Please also have this restaurant in Fort Lauderdale Florida soon thanks so much
Great food great service and excellent desserts
Everything is quite enjoyable, Until you get the bill and that is a bit of a surprise. 3 brunch items and 3 cocktails 2 cups of coffee $175
They offer a nice variety of delicious food. I liked dining here. Employees are always very nice, prices are reasonable and the place is always clean.
nice eat
The food is delicious and service always great. Recommend for date night or group dinners.
Pretty tasty. Nice ambiance. Pricey...
Was open on holiday. Good food even better bar.
Was very impressed with the food and service
You know it’s hard to find a really solid restaurant that’s not crazy expensive in Tribeca. Locanda Verde is my favorite restaurant to go to right now. Very good quality every night, and consistency is so hard to come by these days! Service is solid, and it’s not too loud (also very hard to find in NYC!). Pretty much everything on the menu is good. I especially like the fresh ricotta and bread, garlic chicken, and pretty much any of the pastas.
Great for a delicious dinner. Even better when someone else is paying. Five stars for sure.
the sublime burrata + olio di oliva; the excellent Linguini + scampi; the amazing green mafaldine pasta (al dente !)... and the lovely verdicchio wine... and the gently service. My message to Mr. Robert De Niro is... I'll be BACK :-) Thank you!
We were disappointed with the service, which was perfunctory and quite rushed. Veal Bolognese lacked flavor and had little evident veal.
Food was delicious and service was accommodating. Highly recommended.
excellent bar service! upscale and lux. what you would expect from a hotel owned by RDJ
Great place for dining with good atmosphere. Food excellent great taste . The Service was great. I will definitely go back there
This ever-trendy yet refined Italian ristorante is as much coveted for its gorgeous setting as its lineup of rustic, tasty fare. The ambience is always abuzz and everyone looks beautiful amid low lights, a long bar and walls adorned with wine bottles. Breakfast verges on divine-think lemon pancakes and apple cider doughnuts. Bare tables are packed throughout the day with a stylish crowd waxing poetic about crostini topped with blue crab and jalapeño. Also try terrific house-made pastas such as pappardelle with lamb Bolognese, finished with a dollop of sheep's milk ricotta, or paccheri dressed in "Sunday night ragù." No one should leave without sampling superb sweets, like the apple and concord grape crostata with rosemary-hazelnut brittle and brown butter gelato.
Excellent service and delicious food. The ambiance is great, sophisticated and yet cozy.
Great vibe, great food! Can’t wait to get back and eat here again!
I went here for lunch, I got the steak and eggs and the rice chocolate pudding! Excellent food!
Great food and wonderful service.
Excellent food and service for Wall St pros.
I was exceptionally disappointed with the lack of professional service for breakfast this morning. In the past we have had excellent service and food. This morning, not only could we not get our coffee, but the servers dropped the food, never cleared the table, never inquired how the meal was and failed to even bring a plate for the ricotta.
Good ambience and bar, haven't dine at table yet, bar food is delicious. ..toilets are spotless. ..
The ricotta, duck sausage pasta, and desserts are unbelievably good. Other dishes, however, lacked flavor. The service was mediocre, at best, with no offers of Parmesan, or cracked pepper, or second beverages for anyone at the table. For the price point and wait, I was surprised at the lack of service. The food was often bought to us already luke warm, and again - really missed any sort of special touch you’d expect from a place at this price point / with this kind waitlist and reputation.
Only came for drinks. Beautiful space. Great by the glass selection.
last time i visited this place with my family. We have ordered so many things all were very delicious. The way they present their food was great. The workers were very hard kind with their customers. Thanks for such an great experience.
Service, food, ambience very good
Food is delicious. Portions are small, so men, if you're hungry, eat before you arrive. A bit on the pricey side.
Always amazing
Creative, delicious menu and attentive service!
Tasty Italian dishes and delicious cocktail menu. Have been here for multiple meals and surprisingly have never been disappointed. Great restaurant for dinner. Though the neighborhood is quiet, this place fills up quick so get there early or later on in the night.
The food is fantastic - the environment is very "energetic".
Amazing waffle, not too sweet, so I loved it. Delicious coffee and great service. It is really crowded so it is best to make a reservation.
Went here for brunch. Service was great. Cocktails were well made. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the food. Maybe it's because I went there late during the brunch service, but the food was ordinary. The quality was good, but it just didn't seem to be very creative. I felt like I could have gotten the same food elsewhere. It was just OK. I've been to this restaurant before, and previous meals were usually noteworthy. Today, though, was neither bad nor excellent - just safe and average.
Wonderful 'up' atmosphere..Fabulous food. Mezze Rigatoni was scrumptious..
Here for a wedding reception, food and service was perfect.
Not worth it. The service on a Sunday was obscenely slow and the amount of salt in every dish was generous enough to choke a large horse. Thankfully the company at our table was cheerful and we made it through.
Excellent food and service. Also a really great menu for Brunch!
Restaurant is beautiful inside, service is great and attentive, and the food is delicious! I recommend their burrata (appetizer) and their pasta. They also have a great wine list. Perfect place for a date night.
I've only been for brunch but it's fantastic every time.
One of my favorite places in NY. Excellent food, great wine selection, really good service, good vibe. Scallops are probably the best in town.
Always a good meal and service, nice wine list, but bring your wallet
Slightly cramped but food is great.
This place serves some of the best lamb bolognese in the city. It’s
Had a wonderful celebratory birthday dinner with the family, great food great wine great port, and fun desserts.Good service as well.
Noisy. Food was average and wine by the glass options are limited.
I absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. Great service, delicious food and extensive wine list with some great Barolo and Nebbiolo bottles. Top 5 in NYC for me.
Amazing Italian restaurant for both cool atmosphere and wonderful food!! Definitely want to come back when I visit NY again.
One of the best pasta spots in NYC! Definitely don’t miss the housemade ricotta!!
Poor service. Very noisy. Terrible wine list. Food good, not great. Poorly plated and portions are small.
Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Modern rustic decor and fresh, expertly prepared food. Whoopie pies are so good - save room for dessert! Connected to the best hotel in NYC so you can't go wrong.
The lemon ricotta pancakes are absolutely divine!
Great service. We loved the food and the place was filled with balloons tastefully for everyone to celebrate new year’s eve!
Spectacular meal, cozy surroundings, charming, helpful and attentive service. Ate here solo and was made to feel at ease, something not all restaurants accomplish. I’ll be back soon. Thanks, Max!
Best Italian food in TriBeCa! Everything is good here: the cheese and steak tartare appetizer, homemade bread, pasta and deserts are all good!
Average brunch
Best night of my life
Super reliable - won't ever disappoint (won't ever WOW either).
Sheep’s Milk Ricotta With Sea Salt & Herbs A Locanda Verde classic that absolutely must be on your table. This is a very simple but incredible ricotta that comes with grilled bread and is drizzled with a delicious olive oil and sea salt. You’ll be eating this throughout your entire meal. Lamb Meatball Sliders With Caprino & Cucumber Another Locanda Verde superstar item that you need to be eating. These little meatball sliders with goat cheese make all other sliders pale in comparison, and maybe all other meatballs, too. Order them. Blue Crab We could probably eat a meal entirely consisting of just these. Each little piece of toast is piled high with crab, jalapeño, and tomato, which makes for a spicy and excellent few bites of food. Strozzapreti Verde More from the canon. There’s usually some kind of green pasta on the menu here, and it’s usually really good. In this instance, the strozzapreti (sort of like cavatelli) are served with a “white duck ragu,” pancetta, and chestnuts. In related news, this will probably not make you skinnier.
The atmosphere is great. Location is wonderful. Service is very good and friendly. The food however is incredibly bland and unoriginal, definitely overpriced for what it is.
I had something that the waitress highly recommended. I cant remember the name, but it was so delicious! Great service and great food and I dont even like italian food. The chocolate rice pudding with pears is a MUST. One of the best desserts I've ever had.
Very good. Very pricey for the food.
Pay a good bit more for food that's a good bit better. I had brunch. Does the place feel stylish or just expensively half empty? I think the former. They make an effort. Will return with more suitcases of cash.
Excellent service, but my choice of pasta was a little too al dente. Food was so-so.
This ever-trendy yet refined Italian ristorante is as much coveted for its gorgeous setting as its lineup of rustic, tasty fare. Brought my gf for our anniversary and we loved it. Great ambiance, staff and pasta! Delicious!!
Great food and service. I usually visit when in NYC.
Have had epic dinners here with good wine and delicious food. The ravioli is my favorite in the city.
It is still one of my fav spots in TriBeCa neighborhood over the years. The food and the service remain consistent and never disappoint. We had a very long brunch session catching up with friends and the crew were so welcoming till the very end. And it is still one of the spot you could discover many celebs and actors from the neighborhood. Your dishes surely make those paparazzi jealous while waiting outside.
Have had better pancakes and French toast in nyc which didn’t burn a hole in my pocket. Apart from atmosphere food was below par.
Great place to have brunch on Sunday. Nice atmosphere and decent food.
Excellent service and food
Incredible.....the place is a total upscale scene....there is nothing on the menu that does not taste good. First course pasta dishes, ravioli, squid pasta everything is delicious. Main courses fish meat or whatever is excellent. Extensive wine list. 5 stars.
Unique flavors with a great Tribeca vibe. I tried the Malfadine Verde white veal bolognese & aged parmigiano. The portion was small, but the taste was full of new flavors I haven't had elsewhere
The food was great, the staff was extremely friendly. The atmosphere or ambiance was very homey, nice and clean, and a bit elegant.
Beautifully designed space, attentive staff, interesting cocktails (try the house Negroni) with very very tasty pasta. I had "My Grandmother's Ravioli" and it was all you might expect - rich and juicy on a bed of the best pulped tomatoes I've ever tasted. Friend had the corn & mushroom tagliatelle which showcased the summer-taste of fresh young sweetcorn. Good wine selection as well. Dress up to impress.
Food and service was white table fine. Atmosphere was fun and great walk thru city.
Went right before they were closing the brunch menu and they still managed to provide excellent attention. Great food - the pumpkin affogato was out of this world!
Always always a wonderful meal and dining experience. Fancy, without being pretentious. Food has a complexity to it even though it may be simply asparagus. You know a lot of effort is going on behind the scenes but it is not apparent in the dining area. Romantic destination with fair prices.
Overpriced but fine. Nothing special or exceptional. How do you justify charging $20 for 3 pancakes? If the value proposition was better I would rate it higher.
Cocktails till late, cozy decor
Veal rigatoni was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten.
The restaurant looks nice and the food is quite good but not exceptional. The big minus was the quality of the service, pressed to order, and be given the bill even before asking for it. We were not offered the desert menu or hot drinks, we arrived at the place at 10.30 pm. Also we were served by 2 or 3 people so no care for the table.
I love the food here!! Everything we ate was amazing. I went with my sister, her husband and my niece. We ordered basically everything on the menu and nothing disappointed us. At the end of the meal, the Chef sent our an array of complimentary desserts which were all amazing!
Great to hold a shower here. Very consistent.
Great atmosphere excellent service. Highly recommend Grandmas ravioli.
Although this is one of the few non-sleeper spots in the area on weekends, the small pour/high price glasses of wine left a bad taste. For the NY Food scene that's not acceptable. Food was good, ambiance had energy but I won't be back.
Good place when out with a group. Recommend the cod
Excellent...will be going back ...md
Great place for dining. Atmosphere was nice and the staff was fast and helpful. I like the service and amazed by the delicious food.
Absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful and appetizing!
Zucchini frittata was really good but the latte was a average.
Excellent food.v
I am a loyal customer. Yesterday, I had breakfast and two things were poor. The waiter was not helpful about the menu or our requests. And equally important, I ask for my omelette to be done soft. And I said it more than once so it would be right. Unfortunately, it was far from soft. It was well done. Not something I wanted nor enjoyed. I hope this feedback is constructive. Fred
Amazing food and service!
Beautiful and relaxing, even though noisy.
Great food nice atmosphere
Courtyard at Locanda Verde on a summer night is just dreamy. Very romantic. Andrew Carmellini is one of my favorite Italian chefs in NYC.
Traveled from Atlanta GA. THIS is what I expected for excellent Italian food. Beyond the food the espresso is art and stimulates the senses.
This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in NYC. It can be for a casual date or party. The pasta is homemade and created for deliciousness in each bite. Exquisite menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Don’t get me started on the fresh focaccia bread.
Great food and a hip, trendy interior.
Definitely one of the best pasta meals that you can get in the city. Pasta is fresh and service is lovely. Try to save room to dessert and make sure to make reservations in advance.
Wonderful food and service. Loved the atmosphere too
Food is outstanding. The beet salad is fresh and bursting with flavor, and the portion is good for two people to share before the mains. I got the rigatoni with white veal bolognese — it was divine. The veal was rich, the sauce was oozing oil and decadence. I ate about half to two-thirds of it, and I was full and happy.
Amazing food and service. The best restaurant. Unusual flavors, shapes and presentation that will take you on a nice culinary experience that will engage all your senses. If you're hungry, portions will seem small to you but you could always order a side of their fries which is a quite generous portion. Worth the price. Would highly recommend this place!
Beautiful Experience. Thank you
Great food, friendly staff and beautiful ambience. Loved it.
The space is beautiful, the energy is great and the staff is wonderful. The food (at brunch) was average. Nothing on the table was either great or horrible...just unremarkable.
Went there for Brunch on a Sunday. Fantastic atmosphere and friendly, efficient service. Would definitely recommend this place for Brunch on the weekend. Many of the locals go here.
Best Italian food.
Delicious lunch with attentive yet unobtrusive service.
A decent spot to see and be seen. Definitely a NYC wait so make sure to make a reservation ahead of time and grab a drink at the bar. I just wish the food lived up to the rest of the experience but it was just OK.
Amazing, Stefano makes the best cocktails in NYC
Some excellent food. Lovely wine list: our Barolo Cavallotto 2012 was super. Waitress was friendly and informative enough...tables a little too close together so out was just too loud only real complaint. Special truffle selections quite appetizing.
Went there with parents for brunch. The front of house staff is so nice and awesome! Food is pretty great - ricotta waffles, lamb pappardelle were standouts. Would return for dinner or another brunch!
Always beautiful, great staff, and food is on point.
Celebrated a birthday here. They made the night absolutely perfect. From the hostess, to the bussers, to the chef sending us a dessert. I can go on and on about this experience. Delicious food! Quality wine! Wonderful ambience. Thank you Locanda!
Great food, ambience and service
Excellent lunch
I went here last week. It was an outstanding experience. The food was delicious.
Elegant enviornment, exceptional service, heartwarming food.
Always a lovely time here- as others have said- it’s upscale without being pretentious. The food is delicious and the focaccia bread they serve is to die for. Would definitely recommend. I also highly suggest visiting the hotel spa- Shibui.
Good food and good service. But like most things in Manhattan it's overpriced for what it is. I would go to New Jersey if you want really good Italian food
Great food experience, pasta was great and the eggplant sandwich amazing #letsguide
Grandmother's ravioli lives up to its name. Comfort in perfect balance with gustatorial delight. The lie is in the seasonal melon and sorbetto desert for two... it really is more than enough for about 4 people to share.
Atmosphere and service was great. Taste if pasta was under my expectation..
Amazing pasta. I went with my friend that has a gluten allergy and they brought pasta and bread for her too.
