REVIEWS OF Juliette IN New York

I been to this place multiple times, everything was great all the time, however the only time I made a reservation and decided to celebrate my birthday there, I experienced horrible service. The second I walked in to the restaurant hostess showed me attitude and was rolling her eyes are me. As well as the waiter who knew I was not happy about my table, barely came by. At the end we made a comment both to the waiter and to the hostess that we were upset about the way we were served, in return we got silence and nothing close to an apology. I love the food in Juliette but after this experience will never come back.

Went there for brunch with two friends, I was not impressed with the food. Got eggs Benedict, potatoes were half cooked, eggs were hard, ham was cold and tasted old. Regular coffee was $3.50 and we didn't even get a refill. Basically ended up paying $73 without tip for 3 people for some eggs. Was expensive for what you get. My plate had 2 eggs, 1 small piece of ham, 1 English muffin- not even toasted, some small pieces of potatoes, and a handful of lettuce. The place looks nice inside but not worth it for me to go back again. Too expensive and food quality wasn't there.

Heard about this restaurant on a "best brunch" list but was not impressed. We came on a Monday and weren't expecting brunch because their website says they don't serve brunch on weekdays. We were happy to order from the brunch menu. I ordered the omelette du jour and my friend ordered a salmon burger with a side salad. The food arrived and my friend was given fries instead of salad so we had to ask for the salad. The salad came about 10 mins later. My dish had fries which wasn't odd and the "omelette" was buried underneath. I finally made it to the omelette which was covered in greens and cheese. When I cut into the omelette I realized it was actually a chicken cutlet covered in cheese. I told the waiter and he apologized and resent my order for a vegetarian omelette. When my correct order showed up it was underwhelming. The restaurant was not busy when these mistakes happened. I was very confused by the food service here.

Juliette is a wonderful place for dining. Food was perfectly prepared and wonderfully flavorful. The spicy lamb burger was too hot for my taste but the NY strip steak was awesome.

Said Ertekin

Always a pleasure to go back. Love their winter garden.

Don Harrelson

Not impressed. Overpriced, undersized steak au poivre. Had better and larger strip steaks in dive bars for 1/3 the price. Server provided indifferent and erratic service. Nice atmosphere though.

Greg Cogen

Love Juliette, excellent menu and fun decor with a wonderful roof garden for relaxing and having a drink or two!

Sanya Oluwadare

This is a casual place where an individual or a group can grab quick bite of snacks and chilled drinks. It has a bar where different mix of drinks are served. I waited for like more than 15min before my orders were ready. Kudos to the black American young man who made me feel so comfortable whilst waiting for my order. There are restrooms for both male and female and the male one I used was very clean and well-maintained. In MOHO, the price is inexpensive.

Delicious food! Best deserts!

Stephen Davis

Excellent food/drinks, very nice and attentive staff, and one of the coolest decor and vibe of any restaurant I’ve ever been to! Would recommend to anyone looking for an eclectic dining experience. Would also highly recommend the French onion soup! It was delicious!

Heinzkurt Grieberer

French inspired cuisine, charming interior, attentive service - great restaurant.

Josh Collins

Very tasty! Great atmosphere as well! Real classy joint

Mel J

Cute rooftop bar area and alright service.

John Bacon

Gorgeous environment and great food.

Alicia I

Food and drinks here are amazing!!! The salmon was delicious and the portions are great. The staff is also very friendly. Definitely coming back here.

Melany Febres

My second time here. Really nice customer service, very attentive and friendly team. However, their mussels has this disgusting taste that made it awful from start to finish. In the other hand, their steak is not that bad. Too pricy tho. Their wine are not good. I give it a 3 stars because their people are super nice and the place is beautiful.

sherry wolf

Fresh and delicious. Loved the tuna tartare. Was disappointed that there were no refills on the ice tea

Peter M

Very French delicious food in a pleasant setting. This is the kind of French restaurant you used to find in the Village or Chelsea but is now harder to find. The food is great and lots of choices are reasonably priced. Service was prompt and professional. Noise level was low allowing for the kind of conversation you are likely to have in such a restaurant. This restaurant seems to be run more professionally than many other nearby

Miguel Mercedes

the way the have the restaurant is they have beutiful green plant inside. You will feel like you are in a garden

courtney Bradley

I loved this place!! It is a small boutique brunch place Brooklyn. The ambiance was very nice and the food was even better.

Daniel Fernandez

Went on 8/24 with my wife and 1 year old. The hostess' were very accomadating. The food was delicious.

Angel Vizcarra

Great little brunch place in Williamsburg. The food was delicious and the environment was very inviting. Yes, it's a bit (lot) hipster but it's delicious and reasonably(ish) priced with great service. Definitely recommend.

Jehangir Khan

Hands down one of the best french toast

Andreas Steiner

nice place, super friendly staff... but don't go there for the food! we ate like 3 mouthfuls of the greasy spam sandwich and silently returned the remainders to the kitchen

Rome Romulo

Went during President's Day for a late brunch. The servers were very friendly, especially since we had a baby with us. The ambiance felt like an old, British, countryside greenhouse and I was very much on board with that. Food was great and their bourbon mixed with a shot of espresso was fantastic. My one complaint is that the bathrooms should be cleaned more thoroughly.

Eugene

Food was great. Service was really good. Look very nice, quiet, upscale.

Harry Kidd

Hearty, standard bistro fare in a unique setting with hanging plants and tile floors. Conversation flows naturally here. Great spot for a date.

James Sharp

Awesome place - don't let the inconspicuous exterior deceive you, Juliette is bright, spacious and beautiful inside. Great cocktails, awesome staff, can't go wrong!

monica angel

Excellent food. Nice decoration and good music!!

Alvaro Egas

What a cool restaurant to have brunch on the weekends. Service is excellent. I will be back.

Marlene Rosa

Food was delicious. Staff was very nice, we were a party of 5 and were seated right away , had the lamb burger and it was delicious. Not gamey and full of flavor.

Zach N.

Very nice and cozy place. Nice food and drinks. I closed my bill but didn't finished my drink and step out to have a cigarette and waiters were too fast to clean the table.

TY C

I went on Sunday afternoon, Prob it was a Labor Day weekend, we don't need to wait at all. We ordered salmon egg benedict, the hollandaise sauce is very little, so over all everything is little bit dry because not enough sauce. For the banana French pancake, they didn't soak the toast enough, so the toast inside taste still like dry toast. For the farmer's breakfast everything was not bad. For the food I will say 6/10 But the garden seat was a plus!

Grace Hung

Nice food and environment. Portion is reasonable. The apple tart is great. Friendly staff.

Kristian Oneill

Great environment and very attentive service. The food was crisp and delightful. Will definitely recommend this place to friends. Affordable rates and large portions. Good job.

Anna Lobastova

Interior is beautiful and the service is attentive but not overbearing. Food was good, but not phenomenal. Prices are reasonable.

Lea Pfandler

I’ve been to this place many times and have always loved it and had a great experience until now. I don’t think I’ll come back here anymore, which is sad. The place was cold like a freezer to the point where we couldn’t enjoy the food at all, because the cold was literally unbearable. The food was good but we could literally not enjoy it at all due to the icy temperatures inside. And it’s a pricey restaurant, so that’s really too bad. Won’t be back. :-(

kirkland dickey

Delicious bistro food in the heart of Brooklyn. Reminded me of Paris, except the staff was obliging and NOT condescending! Ask for the daily special, it's worth a try. I had a delicious tuna steak and my son had the signature burger--both were the highlight of our trip to NYC. Full bar with a central garden and upstairs seating as well.

Rodinei RodrigueS

I love Juliette. Great ambiance, great service and wonderful food

Kirsten DeHaven

Great rooftop. The bartender made me a special tequila punch drink which was fantastic! Put it on the menu!!

Danny Amith

The food is unbelievable tasty, I've been going here for 4 years now. The ambiance is very relaxing, summer time they have the roof deck, which is even more relaxing. Everything on the menu is delicious! The manager is extremely generous, we got free desert due to the long wait!

L C

Good service, gnocchi was tasty, but food was a little on the salty side.

Ausrine Latvyte

A very atmospheric place, covered in live hanging plants and vintage furniture. Makes a cozy and trendy spot to hang out! Food-wise, it’s quite good although perhaps lacking creativity. The onion soup was great for a cold rainy day.

Jared Singer

Cool decor but the food failed to impress. Very small, very expensive but not particularly tasty appetizers. New York Strip steak dinner was fantastic though. You have to be eating dinner to get a table and then the service was slow once we did. Would go again, but hoping for a little bit better experience next time.

Meg Rockett

Couldn't get a table for brunch at a restaurant my son suggested. Popped into Juliette just before it got busy. Fabulous food, Service and environment!!!

Kai Kalino

I adore this place. Deceiving looks from the outside from how it looks simple and then once you step inside it’s so uniquely its own. I recommend above all for breakfast: farmers plate. Done deal with a good strong cup of coffee.

RegSax Chapman

$15 dollars for this and it wasn’t even tasty at all. Very disappointed. Definitely don’t get the tuna on the specials, small without taste.

Armine Aleksanian

Horrible customer service! The hostess told me rooftop is closed, because they don't have staff, then I asked to seat outdoors, as there was no places at the bar and she told me if we are having appetizers and drinks we cannot seat outdoors or at the tables, while the outdoor was empty and the bar was full. She just expected us two to go in squeeze next to the person eating at the bar although there was no space for even one! I loved this place, but gotta have a little class! At the end of the day it is a French restaurant...

maria apessos

Julliete has great food but the service is quite disappointing. I decided to celebrate my husbands 30th bday there on Saturday. When I walked in the restaurant I did not feel welcomed I did not feel greeted not even by the manager who was standing with the no personality hostess. Let me not get started with our waitress Tarra. Didn’t smile once, She never came back to the table to ask how we are doing. When it was time to cut the cake no coffee was offered. It was overall just a bad vibe by the staff including the manger. Disappointed because the food is outstanding. Hope the owners look into getting better staff.

Julian Coleman

Somewhat casual French-inspired menu, quite tasty, and a beautiful space with a lot of greenery, and a roof deck. Great for brunch.

anabel alarcon

Loved the space, very illuminated and filled with plants! Delicious drinks and food.

Brian Giglio

Amazing food. Beautiful restaurant and top notch service. Under the radar restaurant in Williamsburg.

Joanne Martin

Fantastic Bruch, great food and staff really looked after us

Lisa Maldonado

Inventive brunch menu, generous portions and surprising tasty touches. I had the baked eggs in a tomato cream sauce with wine sausage, lentils, greens and fingerling potatoes, and had to bring half of it home. VERY busy and crowded for Sunday brunch! But service was still fast. Fun French pub décor. Loved it!

FOCKS PLAYS

Friendly staff, beautiful decor and venue with two floors and lots of plants and charm. However - maybe it was the night or the time - very slow service. Food was pretty good, French fries were excellent. Juliette Burger was good but pretty heavy, but that’s just like my opinion man.

Nader Cserny

Super tasty food and good drink selection, nice ambiance with lots of green. Will definitely come here again. Go there early or reserve a table

Michelle

A very nice space; plenty of seating but still has a cozy atmosphere. The food is fine; pretty straightforward French cuisine and very limited for vegetarians. In the warmer months the rooftop seating really makes it worth a visit.

Casey Harding

Fast and friendly servicr. Darling garden room but the food fell short. Nothing spectacular about anything we ordered unfortunately. The lemon blueberry Dutch pancake was nearly flavorless.. the sausage was ok.. potatoes.. ok.. salad.. ok.

Hunter Powell

This restaurant is anti vegetarian. Somehow the only vegetarian dish costs $20 but does not include any protein and is honestly difficult to eat. For a restaurant mimicking French food to have a Arabic style dish and then not do it justice is extremely frustrating and disheartening. Would not recommend unless you are a meat eater. As someone who came here with a tourist who had this place on their list I was unable to enjoy my meal and Juliette was a huge disappointment.

Grace Collins

Lovley and livley , do accept walk ins, happy hour is fab, big nibbles and fab spritz (photographed). Recommend cheese bore for a selection of local and French cheeses.staff are lovely and kind.

Chuck Salvo

Great environment, food was nicely prepared, would have loved a few more beer options

Adam Wozney

Romeo and Juliet, a love story about an Italian guy and an Italian girl. Should end up happily ever after, right? Wrong bro! "Spoiler alert" They died. They both died. Get it over it and move on. Xoxo gossip girl.

Peter Engelmaier

I've eaten brunch and dinner here. Both meals were great. I love the atmosphere. There tuna tartar was exceptional.

Leslie Tou

All the dishes that came out looked delicious! Great vibe for sunday brunch. Busy but still didn’t have to wait during peak hours.

Jordan Payne

Great food, good service, strong drinks, lively and fun atmosphere, would love it if you could dine upstairs but apparently this isn’t currently and option. We had the burger and a couple of glasses of wine, and the price was pretty reasonable. Service at the bar upstairs was friendly friendly and courteous, at our table it was friendly if just a little abrupt but it didn’t come across as unprofessional. Would definitely return and try out some of the other menu items. Oh, and sorry but I’m not a fan of the deconstructed burger.

Robert Texido

Bluberry and lemon pancakes were tasty. Good service and cozy place to take a brunch or simply a good breakfast.

Juan Rodriguez

So many places to eat on bedford its overwhelming to choose. Ended up in Brooklyn on a sunday morning and decided to try something different. Juliette is an ivy league brunch spot with glass ceilings and greenery hanging everywhere. It is bustling with character and elegance more than your average brunch. I dont get excited with French bistro but the restaurant speaks for itself. They do not have your typical brunch options but their menu gives you great options. Portions are great, prices are fair. The smaller your party the easier it is to get seated. We skipped everyone waiting as a party of two

Sylvia Rodriguez

One of my favorite spots for brunch! Love the space and love the food!

Mariusz Stark

Never again. DON'T LIKE ROACHES WHERE I EAT. Food bland, steak swimming in some disgusting pool of Au Jus. Way overpriced. Disgrace for French cuisine. I hope the roaches like their food, we didn't.

juan marte

It was a great experience for a couple, we enjoyed from the beginning all the way till the end. Food had a nice presentation and tasted amazing!

Ashutosh Gupta

Very very nice interior. I had the corned beef hash. It was good, very big portion, could not finish it (but I’m a small guy). Expect to pay at least between 20-30$.

Kevin Jaksik

Literally the best Baja Fish Tacos I’ve ever had! The staff are amazing (they’re always singing) and always always always try the flaming jalepeno Margaritas!

Begin Atc

Sat in the back with the glass roof, very nice space. The food was tasty, though nothing special. Had the roast beef hash. Friend had the lamb burger. The salmon and eggs dish was very good. Excellent service! The manager obviously cares. Great coffee. Kudos to our waitress!! Will go back and try different things.

Charles C

We like the rooftop area. The downstairs inside is also very nice. It is decorated with plenty of hanging ferns, which is atypical for a restaurant. It's a great place to meet up. Reservations not required but expect to wait 10-20 minutes for a table as this place is popular.

Ella Fontaine

I loved it. Very delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and good service. I highly recommend!

Camila Granado

Amazing brunch, food was delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy

Andrea Teja

Brought my cousins here as they were visiting from Europe and I thought that the ambiance of this restaurant would be different from what they're used to. Service is nothing special. In typical Brooklyn fashion, no one's particularly happy to serve you. One of my guests found a hair, which she assumed was hers until we took a better look only to find a long strand of course brown hair baked into her blueberry Dutch pancake. The waitress lifted the dish with a look of horror on her face, and proceeded to ask us if we wanted another plate. I mean at this point we all put our forks down questioning the practices of their kitchen staff. Nevertheless, we agreed to wait for another Dutch pancake. Another woman brought it out and slammed/slid it on the table and walked away. No apology, nothing. This place doesn't care if they lose customers. Service and cleanliness are not on the top of their list of priorities. The hairy pancake was left on the bill even after we politely asked for them to remove the charge. They said there's nothing they could do. Never coming here again .

Maxime Henrion

Good food, nice atmosphere but way too noisy.

Lilian Nogueira

This place has such a cozy and charming atmosphere. Food is so delicious and service is great! I really enjoyed having brunch there and I'll definitely come back for more!

Kathleen Murray

Warmth of room works with all of the hanging plants. Food for brunch was tasty...eggs florentine had lots of veggies & mushrooms on a good hardy bread. Only concern was felt a bit rushed for a late afternoon lunch when it wasn't that busy.

Karan Hansaria

Great brunch spot and amazing ambience.

Khye Davey

Great setting with a good vibe. Brisket and Hash was one of the best brunches I've ever had. Wife was so jealous we have to come back so she can have it.

Paige Beavers

Our party of 5 took a trip to New York City for my birthday. We decided we would choose this restaurant for our brunch the day of arrival. Little did we know it would be as fantastic as it was. The atmosphere is very welcoming and there is great style in the restaurant. The food was absolutely wonderful and their drinks were amazing. We took the recommendations from our waitress Maddie who was not only attentive but very informative. We loved this place and even considered going back BUT with limited time in NYC we knew we should branch out. However next time we are there we will def eat at Juliette in Brooklyn. Thank you Maddie for making our trip so AWESOME!!

Julio Terra

This bistro serves up decent food and cocktails. Fine option for satiating your hunger but don’t expect something memorable. It gets pretty loud during brunch and dinner on the weekend. The space itself has some charming corners, including a small indoor garden area. Few vegetarian options are available.

Chris Bartow

One of my favorite stops for brunch. It's like eating in a garden, but inside without all the bugs and weather to deal with. Two thumbs up for the Eggs Benedict.

Oliver Plank

Lovely interiors, friendly stuff, great coffee, good range of dishes. Went there for brunch. No reservations, just go there.

Sandy Bounds

Stunning food and gorgeous setting. Highly recommend for a causal glass of wine or a romantic date.

Isabel Cintron

Food was great and we didnt have to wait to be seated if you go early.

Yanxi Li

The ambience in this restaurant is very relaxing. The decor has lots of green plants so it is like a garden. This is a date place. Food wise, it is also okay. The food did not "wow" me but I will come back for the good environment.

Mayra Bravo

I really like Juliette because the burger is amazing and the micheladas are delicious!

Lee McGuire

Our namesake and excellent food in Brooklyn.

Marcus Gilbert

No need to go here. The food is not so good.

Aleksandra Obrycka

My party was a group of 6 and we had to wait a very long time for the table . Not only that but when we ordered the food , it was very tiny . the food was served with fries and both got very cold in a short amount of time. The food is also very expensive .. not worth the money

Ashanti Middleton

Juliette's food and service is ALWAYS topnotch. Today's brunch was AMAZING. I recommend Juliette to everyone!

Heather Brzostoski

The atmosphere is wonderful! Vintage memorabilia decorates the main room. There is a room filled with plants...beautiful! The did is fresh and tasty.

Connan Moody

Cute little quiet space just off the mayhem of Williamsburg. Rooftop and indoor space.

Rohan Tilekar

The ambience is good. The food is good. It can be better. You might have to wait on the weekends, it gets crowded. Eggs Benedict was good. Wish if they would have served with chicken or turkey sausage.

K C

Delicious French inspired fare in a totally authentic, not cheesy, Parisien bistro setting. Gorgeous decoration, beautiful hanging garden in the sun room, and good service!

Karen N

Cool interior. That’s pretty much all has going for it. We came here for brunch. Waited for a long while at the bar. When we were finally seated basically the menu was a massive disappointment but after spending almost an hour to get a table, we stayed. The food was super unforgettable. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Everything else was a letdown.

Jon Arnold

I had the Juliette Burger and it was delicious. Everything looked amazing and the atmosphere is really cool with plants all around. Definitely coming back.

Virginia Sanchez

I had the most lovely brunch date here! I got the pancakes and french toast. I love the romantic vibe and all of the plants!! Would definitely recommend anytime.

Victorya Kaon

The set up the restaurant was a bit confusing. We had a reservation for close family friends visiting from out of town. Upon entering the receptionist made us wait for a table. Once our group was finally seated the wait staff brought us some menus. A person in our group who speaks fluent french, found it hillarious to see the misuse of language sprinkled throughout the menu. After some conversation we ordered three vegetarian dishes, and two of the burgers they had on their menu. I must say the presentation was charming, but the food missed the mark for our guests. We felt that the flavor, seasoning, and lack there of sizeable portions. We honestly enjoyed the concept of the Juliette, and would love if they gave more clarity on reservations.

Aly Mello

The decor and atmosphere here is amazing. It almost made me overlook how great the food is as well! I would really recommend the french toast or the lamb burger.

David Mou

Terrible, slow service and rude staff. Ordered four appetizers but waitress only brought out two. Left after that for dinner elsewhere. I don't usually post reviews but this was egregious...

naomi aldrich

Very very good! They do need to trim there plants though. I'd come back it was awesome!

Mike Kerslake

What a wonderful place for brunch. Great selection of drinks, terrifically interesting specials and food items to pick from. The inside decor is absolutely gorgeous - lots of fresh light and greenery. Service was top notch as well. Will certainly be stopping in again!

Veronica Grossman

Juliette is just lovely! It is very cool that there are three different places to sit. You can sit in the main room, the back room or the rooftop - it's like three restaurants in one! The rooftop is definitely my favorite though. I highly recommend the breakfast.

Jim Mannoia

Very romantic! Great bar with happy hour drinks and food. Friendly service and such a cozy environment we wanted to stay longer for dinner in the gorgeous dining area!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Even worth a special trip from Manhattan .. Ready access via the L train to Bedford then walk 100 feet!
