Trendy place with cool decor and atmosphere. Bad sevice, 3 of our 4 dishes weren't good

Stephan Grütering

I had no reservations and wanted to spend my last night here and enjoy some very good food and bring my wonderful vacation to a good end. I had a steak, which was superb,...the dessert was eceptional ... it was really, really good. The Cava, was wow... BUt the blondish waitress was a desaster, the rest of the serving crew was good and helpful. I would relly recommend this place, but organic food has its price,...

Edward Lu

Fantastic service, interesting and delicious brunch menu. The ricotta pancakes were incredibly light and fluffy - didn't even need the maple syrup. Cardamon and pistachio bread starter was so good with side of berry compote and clotted cream(?), you don't even blame them for being GF. The merguez was brightly spicy with chickpea/tomato sauce. I don't know how much of the menu was truly "foraged", because while the menu lists all these upstate farms and where the ingredients come from, the ingredients did not really stand out as special. We we're a party of five and the bill included a 20% service fee, then an additional line for the tip. ...?!

Nice place, love the brunch here!

Jason Barney

This place is on the money! Perfect stop for food, coffee, and provisions near our hotel in Chelsea. Reasonable prices (for New York) and incredibly friendly and courteous staff. Stop on in!

Mark Pine

This place is official if your into healthy eating. They have a nice selection of the usual items you would expect from a healthy grocery and some new stock of things I haven't seen before. For example, they had a brand of hand made yogurt that looked tasty. Will be back, awesome spot.

Maxwell Reale

Lovely little grocery store with excellent prepared food section. Gentlemen with mutton chops makes the best sandwiches I have had in Chelsea. Try the Pastrami with house made beer mustard. Price can be an issue, especially when they forget to list it. Spent an unfortunate $8.99 for a mini jar of cherries. Still one of the best places to buy veggies, fruit, dairy, and eggs in New York. Always fresh and local. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, though checkout staff may be under-invested. 100% worth a visit, just arrive before 3PM for sandwich bar!

Christian Nicolás Desrosiers

High priced mediocre food — most of the staff is friendly but there is an extremely rude host/manager guy. Would never come back if only to not have to interact with him twice.

Cindie Dowell

Fantastic. Really. They did absolutely everything they could to make it experience lovely. We are gluten free; instead of bread for the table they offered us delicious seed crackers. The restaurant was cold, so they turned up the heat when they saw our jackets hadn't been removed (the manager even came over to chat). They made sharing our dinners easy. The wine was perfect. Our server Joann was sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive. It was hands down the best restaurant experience I've had in NY. We had the deviled eggs, the rib eye, and the lamb. Everything was delicious.

julesas7

Great food, coffee, and staff

Shashwat Pandey

Good restaurant but avoid going on Sundays. Packed and full of overworked staff. Food is quite good and definitely deserves good ratings for that alone

Panutat Satchachai

Delicious breakfasts with excellent service. The scones are so good.

Jeff

Walked in and the first thing the host said was we should of walked in the other side of the door instead of us tripping over a plant he placed in the middle of the other door we didnt see so we wouldnt open it to keep to the cold air off the guests eating...we asked to sit at the bar and he was flustered and just said sorry no seats at the bar instead of trying in some way to accommodate us we will never return. He shouldn't be the first thing you experience at a restaurant..he wouldn't be in mine. 815p. 10/25

Ryan Warrender

Excellent breakfast, but a little pricy

Kevin Gore

Good organic meal, a bit salty for my taste though

Paddy Fung

Fairly expensive. Food are delicious though

Matthias Hess

Everything was amazing. Salads crisp and fresh, pork crispy and delicious and fish rare and flavorful. The mushrooms are to die for. I could have eaten an entire meal of them! Service was terrific, and they accommodated my food allergies cheerfully. There is a good selection of wine, and a nice view of the street through the large windows. They have an adjoining grocery store and wine store as well. The only complaint I have is that they don't open for dinner until 6pm, so keep any after-dinner plans on the later side as you won't want to rush. I highly recommend!

Benswing Rich

Had a salmon Tartine and Beet/carrot/etc juice and they both were excellent quality. Effficient service and the food came quickly. Food comes from the Hudson valley and is organic. Casual atmosphere was comfortable.

Jeffrey Moss

Delicious food. Good service. Unfortunately we were seated next to the windows where the air con blew heavily on our table all night.

Alex Berggruen

Such an excellent spot. By far one of the best restaurants I've been to in Chelsea. Especially great for a breakfast/brunch/lunch before an early afternoon visit to the Chelsea art galleries. I would recommend the grass-fed burger (and specifically going crazy by adding cheddar cheese, bacon, and avocado to it). But then again, if you're more in the mood for breakfast, the lamb sausage omelet is legitimate. The staff is professional and polite, but the service is a tad slow. Perhaps this has to do with the restaurant being a locavore's heaven — the servers might temporarily be leaving the restaurant, traveling to their farm, and returning with fresh cut romaine and vine-ripe tomatoes for your gastronomic happiness. Or perhaps it's just because the place is a bit new and they're still getting into their groove. Either way, this place is solid.

Ken Breese

Drinks took forever to arrive, deviled eggs were meh, meat of the day (ribeye) was just okay, fingerlings were underdone. Tastiest part of meal was the greens. Place was super busy & needs more wait staff.

k kostya

I got two to go boxes with their meatloaf, cauliflower rice, and tomato salad for $34.34, and the food is terrible. The meatloaf tastes like it’s made out of soy, tomatoes taste like they are going bad. The store should keep to a way higher standard with such a name.

Carrie Bevis

Half farm fresh grocery mart, half farm to table restaurant. Seasonal menu options with plenty for vegetarians to choose from.

C. Northern

My breakfast was plentiful and delicious and my bartender was nice but beware, the host had on a sheer see through shirt and no bra on.. This part of the visit was uncomfortable but I guess it's allowed there. Everything was amazing except for that..

Katie Sollenberger

Delicious food, great staff, and excellent drinks. I wasn't a fan of any of the cocktails on the menu, so I told the server my drink preferences, and I got an amazing berry mojito in exchange! My husband ended up doing the same thing, and he was equally pleased. All of the food was delicious...all in all, just an excellent time!

Molly Campbell

Delicious food. Wonderful service. I was by myself-no awkwardness. If alone, sit by the window and people watch!

mushfiqur rhaman

Attended Sunday night for dinner with my friends.I was kind of afraid to face the host since it was super busy and the previous reviews said that the host was rude, but i accused wrong. The host was very nice and got us a seat although we didn't have a reservation. Our waitress Maria was very sweet and welcoming. Although she was busy and apologized for not coming right away for our order she had great recommendations. We started with the beet salad followed by the duck and the lamb bolognese with a nice bottle of wine. She told us to come back for brunch as well and since we live around we will differently give it a try. Overall experience was fantastic and highly recommended. Thank you guys !

Chris Hamilton

Small place, lively atmosphere, good food. Fun selection of seasonal and local ingredients with a heavy French and Italian influence. Cocktails were good and the wine menu was well balanced. Not cheap, but won't break the bank either with mains around $30.

Benjamin Taylor

Amazing! Super friendly hostess. Got us in quicker than promised on a Sunday with no reservations. Brunch omelette special was amazing, service was fast and so friendly. What a great find. Thanks for such a wonderful and professional experience!

James Korge

The Merguez Sausage was delicious. The chickpeas and potatoes retained a satisfying texture while still soaking up all the flavour of the sauce. The sausage itself was lamb and was spiced to perfection. The Salmon Tartine came with mixed greens that added a nice touch. Brined capers made for a nice pop of flavour.

Kolby Fahlsing

I had the best time at Foragers! I am from Minnesota and was there for Bridal Fashion Week. We were so well taken care of and the staff was amazing. The food is delicious! I have traveled to NYC many times and this was one of the BEST meals I have had in New York! My hats off to the chef for his amazing creations. This is a place I will continue to recommend. I look forward to my next visit :)

Jonathan Wang

Love love love their cold brew.

Amanda Stewart

Amazing meal. Had the crispy asparagus and I really enjoyed the sauce it came with. The gnocchi was so rich, creamy and delicious. I loved the local ingredients and they even give you a map of where they all come from. Would recommend.

Barbara Dillon

overpriced terrible to mediocre food and nasty, inattentive servers. There are many far better choices with a block or 2.

Emily Shrewsbury

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at! Their roasted duck and their deviled eggs are to die for!

Corey Shefman

Brunch for two on a Sunday, you should definitely make reservations. The food was good but not great, and although we really wanted to rave about it, it just wasn't worth the (very high) price. The pancakes ($20) and shakshouka ($18) were both generously portioned and tasty, but not exceptional in a way that would make the price reasonable. The shakshouka was too watery, and the eggs were overdone, and while the ricotta pancakes were delicious, they were more dense than I'd have expected from a place like this. Also, 4.50 for a cup of regular drip coffee (with no refill offered when the cup was empty) is inexcusable. Probably won't be back, but if you're in the area, it's an okay option.

natalia pascual

My favorite restaurant in the city. The food is fantastic! Fresh, organic and humanely sourced. I have been going to their brunch for years and it never disappoints. Plus, GREAT SERVICE!

Varun Jain

One of my favorite place to have brunch on the weekends. Their pancakes are super soft and just melt. Also they have an orangy/citrusy taste which is great. They have good coffee drinks as well which is made at the store front, so if you are waiting for your table grab it to go

Marta Castro

Interesting and creative food, not too expensive, and nice staff!

M Tuck

Not as healthy options for dining as they lead on. Also just not tasty.

Sukriti Aggarwal

Ordered the salmon and pancakes it was awesome!!

Christie Ray Harrison

We had the black bass over potato slices and mushrooms with a side of greens, and it was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and the perfect portion size - not over filling or too little that it leaves you hungry. For dessert, share the chocolate cake with ice cream and slivered almonds - it’s almost more of a chocolate chess pie slice instead of cake, and so good. Recommend getting reservations unless you’re going at a low key hour/ night.

Abhilash Mohanty

If you are a big fan of moist pancakes, this is the place for you. Like a farm to table restaurant, this place has really good food. The menu is limited but freshly prepared. The Salmon Tartine was also fabulous. Would definitely come back here for brunch again.

Neil Hendin

Great food. The steak was delicious

Marissa Halterman

Hands down the best dining experience we had in NYC. The food was incredible, healthy, and flavorful. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very accommodating to dietary needs. They also make great cocktails and have a great wine selection. We will be going back next time!

Had a 5:30 reservation for two on a Friday evening. When I got there 5 min early, the male host told me curtly to come back because they weren't ready yet. I walked around the grocery store portion, which I enjoyed. My friend arrived, and when we went back to the host, he said, "You made a reservation for 3" and I said, "Oh, I really thought it was for 2." He scowled and said, "It's on the computer" and seated us and muttered about how it was for 3 people. I checked my email confirmation later and my reservation was definitely for 2. Even if I had made an error, which I did not, is that really a huge problem for an early evening meal in an empty restaurant? Had that been all, I would have moved on and enjoyed the evening. (A table of 3 ladies was seated shortly after us.) The wait staff was very nice. I ordered the sea bass with a $3 surcharge from the prix fixe menu ($45 prix fixe plus the $3). I received an adequately large starter salad and enjoyed that while my friend had a drink. She ordered the Berkshire pork chop. When both entrees were delivered to us, the sea bass was utterly tiny (two half-a-finger sized slices) with some "puffed wild rice" (about 20 sprinkles) peppered on top that looked like mouse droppings. It sat next to a bunch of greens (keep in mind that I already had a salad). My friend's pork chop was about half the size and height of what one would expect from a juicy chop at that price point. We were both stunned by the portion sizes. We made a complaint to the wait staff and asked for a manager. The male host arrived and told us that no other patrons complained (how is that relevant?) and that it was a tasting menu, not a prix fixe menu. It was NOT a tasting menu. The menu clearly states, "Prix fixe." He said, "You can't expect large portions when you're paying so little for a meal." Huh? It was $48. And aside from that, how rude! My friend ordered from the main menu, so that was irrelevant to her. We asked if we could pay for what we had eaten and leave. The manager did comp us for the meal, thankfully, but was very sour about it, and literally ran after us on our way out and harassed us about how we were wrong, and that it was a tasting menu. He held us up at the door with his haranguing, and we told him we'd had enough and left. I've been eating out in NYC regularly for 15 years. This is truly the worst dining experience I've had. I've been going to Forager's market in DUMBO for years and had been so excited to try their restaurant. What a sourpuss. And what abstemious portions. Save yourself and don't go.

Nelson Cortes

We found this place by chance, however, we have become fans of it. Every time we have been there, the service has been perfect, the food is great, and we like the decor overall. We recommend the crab for appetizer, and chicken for entree. Just delicious

Behrooz Badii

Get the steak wrap for brunch. Bloody Mary is one of the best in the city.

Adina Millstein

I’m a fan of this place for brunch but have to agree with other reviews…some of the staff comes off as rude :( The food is really great. I love the small pancakes, the shashuka and the chopped salad. People complain about the price, but $20 for a large, quality entree is ok by my standards, especially when I look at my Seamless delivery bills. The place is super cute with bright natural lighting and an overall inviting vibe. The male host with the long messy hair doesn’t care about his job or the customers, so you have to put up with whatever he says to get yourself a seat. The strawberry blonde bartender/server girl looks confused most of the time and gets huffy if you ask for anything other than what the menu says (ex: I asked for an extra egg once and got an eye roll). The same girl is also rather loud behind the bar and you can hear her complaining about customers when you’re sitting at the bar. Other than those two bad eggs, this place is great.

Damon Lesjack

I've been here a few times and enjoyed the restaurant in back and grocery market in front. High end, gourmet products. Well prepared seasonal food. I'll be back.

Graham Soulsby

Absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Definitely recommend making the time to eat here.

Pete Teoh

Very good. Fresh ingredients. Vegan options. Somewhat pricey but the ambience is nice and you get healthy portions of food.

Maggie Gannon

Lamb bolognese was mad yummy and don’t skip on the bread.

Karen Jane

Had to make an account to review Foragers table and it’s amazing service. I attended with a party of 4 for dinner last night. Our waitress recommended some of her favorite wine, the food and dessert as well. We were so surprised of her recommendations because everything was so good !!! The bartender made the most delicious drinks I’ve ever had. Also I don’t think our glasses was empty for more than 15 seconds ..and not a lot of places do that.. the host that got our name for the reservation was so rude and left I’m not sure if they are two hostess but when she had an issue she walked away and another guy came to take care of us. That was my only problem and I give this place three stars. The guy that served us our food was also very polite and asked if everything was ok. We had a really good time the food drinks and service was outstanding and we will definitely be back just hope next time we don’t get an attitude for our reservation. Thank you Foragers

Mariel de Jesus

Came here for brunch on a Sunday & enjoyed it! Ordered the special that day which was eggs Benedict on turkey on an English muffin. Somewhat on the pricier side, but it was good. Definitely make reservations for brunch seating

Chris Quackenbush

This is a "local food movement"-type supermarket. It seems that much of the food comes from Brooklyn or the Hudson river valley. Most of the providers are small and some products have idiosyncrasies that you wouldn't find in a larger, more mature producer like Whole Foods, but overall the quality is very very good. The only downside is that the selection is limited and the prices quite high. That said, if you can afford it and they have the products you want this is a great place to shop!

Karen Venzen

Great eatery and place to shop for wholesome, local foods. Waitstaff are polite and knowledgeable.

Robert Martin

Great service, the best French onion soup by far!

Zoe Hui

The best pancke I've had in nyc so far. So soft and Fluffy!

Katie Pankhurst

Really great wholesome food!

Amelia Whitehurst

Excellent service and awesome menu!

Greg Stellato

Small place that gets packed on the weekend. Great brunch spot.

Maria Alejandra Oltra

Came for brunch - food was very good. Made a reservation through open table for 1:45pm and there was almost no wait when we arrived at 1:30pm. Reasonably priced, good food but giving it 4 stars cause the coffee was not good. Ambiance was nice and not too loud. Will definitely come back.

Pia Wilson

The food was delicious, especially the orange ricotta pancakes. They were light, airy, and delicately flavored. Highly recommend.

D Nguyễn

I’ve been wanting to try this ‘farm to table’ restaurant in Chelsea. That seems to be the new catch phrase these days. The airy and bright restaurant was comfortable. Our server was equally as friendly. We went here for Brunch. I got the Eggs any style and my Brunch companion had the ricotta pancakes. All I have to say is that when the pancakes came out I should have gotten that compared to my sad small meager looking egg dish with a side of potatoes and greens. The pancakes are light and fluffy and velvety smooth. If you like pancakes, this is what you should get. In fact writing about this makes me want to go back for brunch so I can order it. Let my mistakes be your fortune.

Victoria Rintoul

So yummy, amazing service! Highly recommend!!

M. F.

Visited for brunch. Had the Mosca Mulo and The Moore Park as my beverages. Both were deliciously fresh and satisfying. For my meal I chose the Whole Wheat Wrap - minus the wrap. It came with a side of potatoes and a small pile of mixed greens tossed in a light vinaigrette. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Tip: Get a reservation.

Rod

Just another over priced brunch spot. All the guys got the burger which was decent, but nothing special for the price. My gf got a Moroccan breakfast which was good, but again nothing worth going back for.

Alex Vallis

I shop for groceries and local foods here at least a few times a week. The Foragers-brand eggs are especially good and I love that they're always highlighting and rotating small producers. In terms of prepared foods, the rotisserie chicken is the main item that is consistently good. Otherwise, I buy raw produce and cook that alongside.

Arthur Meadowcroft

It is cute what they do here, try to show the consumer that eating farm to table is possible but I think they go about it wrong. Considering their whole image is 'foraging' and they are in the same price budget as a lot of other high quality restaurants that use the same ingredients, you are paying a bit more than what you get. That being said, it is a nice meal if you look past the image. I really like their reginetti pasta(although I doubt they foraged for that one) and the deviled eggs. While waiting for the food you can also check out their well sourced and also overpriced grocery store. Summary, food = 5 price = 3...avg 4.

Allie Michelle

Don't believe their false advertising. Using PAM cooking spray does not allow you to make farm to table claims. Please be consistent and honest.

Sahil Shanghavi

I loved the pancakes and also the latte. The food was fresh and very healthy tasting. I am definitely planning to go back again. They have a couple of vegan and vegetarian options. My friend got the Vegan Shakshuka and that was also amazing!

Betsy Morgan

While the service is not as good as the food, the food is SO AMAZING that it still rates five stars. Brunch is great and don’t miss the rosemary potatoes (I don’t even like potatoes but these are amazing) or the pancakes and the salmon tartine. Dinner is also fantastic. The restaurant is connected to a store which also has excellent prepared food, and especially good sweets.

Dominique Mungin

Long wait but great food

Neil Mascioli

Great place - only have been for brunch but I get the vibe this is a place I'd more down to brunch at than dinner, but I'm sure both are awesome. Chelsea neighborhood staple.

Michelle Woodruff

Dinner pretty good and the service ok. Nothing spectator for the $$$.

Pete wendeborn

Amazing food that dares you to try something new. Read the menu carefully and enjoy the wonderful combinations of ingredients and tastes. Very good casual, relatively inexpensive evening of food and drink. Our server was amazing. Dont know her name, but she made the evening even better.

Anna Feldberg

The food was great - too bad it was served more than an hour after we ordered on a night when there were maybe five other customers. Really terrible service. Got tap water and was never once offered a refill. Never once was checked on during the hour plus we waited. Would certainly not recommend because plenty of other restaurants in nyc have delicious food with much better, faster, more professional service.

Karl Kopczynski

Incredible brunch! I highly recommend the waffles or the breakfast sandwich. The coffee, juice, and pastries are all superb as well. I have always had very good service here.

Ava Fedorov

The food is amazing (though one caveat when ordering the vegetable plate: it is very small for the price) and the service is spot on. Here is where they tell you: "the beef was raised primarily a diet of grass with a small portion of grain to achieve a nice marbling." Portlandia, anyone?

Benjamin Oliver

One of the most underrated restaurants in the city. Comparable to any Michelin star restaurants. local, organic, farm to table, but most of all amazing gourmet cuisine without the pretentious atmosphere. Also great cocktails.

David Shepherd

Really great brunch

Paola Igarteburu

Definitely a top spot for brunch! Great food, prime ingredients and great service. I think those pancakes were the best I ever had!

Jonathan Pierce

Awesome restaurant in a great part of town. Loved the service and all of the unique menu items plus the market area out front. I would definitely take a second visit here for a fun dinner night.

Mark Williams

My go to restaurant if I can't decide on where to go. Always a good meal whether it's brunch, lunch or dinner. They use locally sourced ingredients for all of their plates and their drinks are all interesting and delicious. Highly recommend.

Jae Hahn

One of my favorite brunch places. They have a neat little market next door. Not many seats, so get there early or make reservations. Their pancakes are the lightest and fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. Everything else was delicious but those pancakes...is a must order.

Jeff Spade

Great food and ambience. Great concept! Delicious organ farm to table cuisine. Make certain you have a reservation. I have no reservations about giving this place 2 thumbs up!

Leonora Rodríguez

Horrible service. Waited 20 minutes to get water and another hour for our drinks to come. When spoke to manager he gave me an attitude .. he walked away to another tall guy with glasses and started mumbling. When spoke to my waitress about it she had no clue what I was talking about and said one minute I’ll be back. Instead, she went to another table. The only good thing was the food. Our waitress never really came back and although we wanted dessert she dropped the bill. We decided to get up and go. Worst experience .. rude host , rude service, rude management.

Ronald Park

Today is my engagement photoshoot. Where else could I go for brunch on this important day. Foragers table puts out all the stops and didn't fail to impress for brunch. Always went for lunch and dinner but first time for brunch going since 2013.Service is always first class, and the eggs scrambled was to perfection. Thank you for an amazing start to my day

Stephanie DeMane

Best restaurant in Chelsea. A little more expensive than the average, but the food is entirely worth it. My special favorite is the lamb pasta, but I've never had anything less than excellent. After dinner, check out the awesome grocery and wine shop!

Bruce Qua

Wonderful, farm-to-table, restaurants in the midst of Chelsea, in an airy, glass-walled space. Reservations highly recommended, especially for weekend brunch

Moe Q.

Bought my good food and b/c the establishment was transitioning the seating area to restaurant mode from a communal eatery I was denied seating and had to take my food to go. Disappointing.

Alison Hoffman

The food was so delicious we went there for lunch and dinner. Wait staff lovely. Impeccable service. Bravo!

Travis Zerba

Went for brunch... Amazing pancakes... moist and they have a subtle orange flavor that's delicious. Egg white omelette was excellent too; I like having a side of greens with potatoes instead of just potatoes on the side. Nice strong coffee too. All the ingredients tasted super fresh. I like that they are all locally sourced; they are mindful of the carbon footprint of their business. Great service, food, and atmosphere for a Sunday brunch, really enjoyed. Definitely will be coming back.

Gonzalo Avila

Incredible experience at Foragers Table. We went for a Brunch and ordered Farmhouse Shakshuka and pancakes. Both good dishes but the highlight was definitely the pancakes, made with ricotta cheese giving them a unique flavor and flufly texture, definitely a must try! The atmosphere was high end, not a cheap restaurant, we spent $80 for 2 people. A bit noisy sometimes but overall excellent!

Mariah Cody

Good but really expensive for what you get

Athens Glance

The place was good, concept is from the farm to the table kind of thing! Not amazed by the food but good service and nice environment! If you live nearby you can grab a drink or an appetizer

Gali Amit

High quality farm to table! Take the duck!

Lenny Li

Really great farm to table restaurant with a grocery store attached. Note that the price per entree is around $30-$40 and their quite small.

Greg King

Decent choice of craft beer, amazing rotating cheese selection, and a solid menu of entrees. Its one of those places where they serve you your posh beer in a mason jar, if that means anything to you.

Kyle Kuznik

So good. I came in here alone and enjoyed the tasting menu. Soups were really savory and flavorful.

Andtew Wainer

Best pancakes ever.

Ofer Shenhav

Fantastic!!! The lamb was perfectly cooked while the complementary vegetables works very well with the flavor of the lamb. Service was correct could soft a bit.... Smile you can be proud!!!

Fritz The-Jovial

I think foragers has plateaued. I've been coming to this place for many years and the food has always been incredible. Service and the bar were always admirable as well. After this last visit though I've concluded that we have hit peak Foragers and I won't be as quick to want to return. Even with the reservation we still had to wait 45 minutes for the table. The host did next to nothing to make that time feel more worth while. The food was great as always but the service and bar was merely okay. When the check came it was clear this place is too expensive for the lack luster performance. While the kitchen remains spectacular, management and service could use a shake up.

Phil Ramirez

This place is awesome! I’m glad my hotel was right beside it!

Nicole Santos

Great place! That atmosphere was awesome and service was even better but not as good as the food! Has porcetta, ragu, whole fish, and root vegetables. All fresh and so good. Cheese plate for dessert was so good.

Mr XP

Fresh but pricy produces. Pastry's quality is subpar to its high price. Almond chocolate croissant is dry and lacking buttery aroma.

Arne Neubauer

It was just alright. The food looked really good, but the taste could have been more balanced. And we had to wait for the wine for about half an hour. Our starter was already finished. In my opinion the drinks should be served before the first course

Dondré S

This place was great! The food was really good and fresh. Our waitress was very nice and took her time to talk us through the menu and made some great suggestions. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.

Mary G. Burnham

Terrific spot for fresh, flavorful farm-to-table fare and lovely ambiance.

Marielle Spangler

I haven't been here for dinner but I go for lunch frequently. The sandwiches are really tasty and high quality and you can sit in the dining room to eat. They let you sit in there even if you're just getting tea or something. I've never had anything bad here. The only negative thing I have to say is that for a lunch sandwich it's a tad expensive. Otherwise the grocery store is really cool. They have a nice selection of specialty and regular food items. Lots of local stuff, lots of gourmet items. They even stock my very favorite Jeni's ice cream from Columbus, Ohio. If you buy something in the grocery store, they give you a discount at their wine store next door.

p bonnet

It's ok a bit school cafeteria .. Lunch time is a hustle to get what you want and the employees rushing you. Ok for the area.

Alexa

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing drinks........have tried almost their whole menu and was always happy!

Ryan Glass

Terrific brunch for two. Sat at the bar as the place was packed. Good service and fantastic flavors on both the sweet and savory dishes. We will be back.

Jeronimo Aguilar Gutierrez

The food was good and the general ambiance is nice, but it's very far from being outstanding or even fair priced...

Zaire Kaczmarski

Delicious food and great service. The pancakes were super soft and delicious. Good ingredients. The place is not too big I would recommend reservations. They also have a lovely store with a good selection of cheese, teas, delicious groceries.

Mark Moseley

Great farm to table restaurant. The food is very good with a great balance of flavors and textures. I did the tasting menu and was very please with all 3 courses. Presentation is very nice as well with nothing too greasy. The exposed high ceilings and small space do make it quite noisy, but tolerable. Staff, including the chefs, were very friendly.

Amy

Wow! Amazing food! Amazing bar. Amazing coffee stand! Amazing grocery! All your bases covered in one spot! So so so good.

magsk magsk

Delicious fresh tasting food. The grocery side offers very unique don't really find anywhere else items. The cafe side had very reasonably priced high quality ingredient dishes. That are taken from the grocery side. Very great wait service, though the hostess is a little funny saying there is a few minute wait when there are special empty clean tables. Highly recommend the cafe to anyone who cares about eating quality food, at reasonable prices. I'm planning on making it a semi regular spot. The grocery also if you want to try unique items though be warned they are a bit pricey on the grocery side. But to be expected on this type of place in Manhattan.

Brad Chernock

A bit of NYC hype. The food was good but way overpriced for what you get. It's really just a small restaurant in the back of a market. Nothing too special...but the food was good.

I visited on Friday evening for dinner. The restaurant is located right next to the grocery store. Inside was dark lit by the candle. I also liked that it wasn't too loud. . We shared braised beef sopes. There were 3 pieces. Braised beef was the large portion of the bite, but it had some toppings that gave fresh taste. My lamb bolognese was good. Their pappardelle cooked al dante, so it was a little chewy. The tomato sauce with lamb was good too.

Amazing food and drink. The salmon tartine and the bloody Mary with cucumber infused vodka is a must for brunch. Be sure to make a reservation for your visit. If you're lucky, you'll wait a long while for a seat. Most likely, they won't seat you without a reservation.

Travis O'Neil

Great food and coffee and a prettttty good bloody Mary. The staff is very friendly and the setting is full but not cramped which is nice.

Suzanne Collis

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal this past Friday at Foragers Table. Service and food were amazing. I was super impressed with the chocolate cake as well! Ambience and noise level were comfortable and perfect for having easy conversation with friends. Highly recommend.

Rob T

Enjoyed brunch here. Nice ambiance, friendly staff and tasty food.

Steven Oshry

Great brunch. It can get crowded so make reservation or prepare to wait

Az Lz

The cider was great. It is Keto friendly if you order the right thing.

Kendall Brezinski

Food was fine, but not up to the price. I wouldn't return.

kevin zaleski

I had the lamb Bolognese it was okay, nothing special and not much lamb so given the high price not a good value. Also they never got the bread they promised

Rachel Young

Food was delightful, staff was so friendly! Definitely coming back

Matt Sung

Really tasty farm to table American cuisine.

Diane Phillpotts

Cute what they do here, try to show the consumer that eating farm to table is possible but I think they go about it wrong. Summary, food = 5 price = 3...avg 4. 1

Salad was okay. Burger was overcooked. Chicken was dry. Wine pairings were flat. The salted caramel ice cream was burned and bitter. Service was inattentive. Our table lacked a candle, we asked for one, were told we would get one, and didn't. Wanted to like this place, but cant recommend it.

Emilio Simón

Hipster restaurant and food shop. Good place for a brunch. A bit overpriced.

A last min desicion led to an amazing dinner experience. The welcoming staff led us to the warm and cozy room. This rustic, Beautifully decorated & friendly space was just the beginning of a delicious meal. From the warm earthy soup all the way to the beat burger I've had. Each dish was presented with finesse, beauty & placed very delicate. Excellent presentation & meals that partied in your palate. Highly recommend & a must in chelsea. Perhaps the only restaurant in the area that's worth going to with reasonable prices that ate more than worth it. Their drink menu & wine selections are A1!

James Thomas

Great surprise.

Tim Armstrong

I had the lamb bolognese and a great glass of red wine. Service was just ok, but the food made up for it. Atmosphere was fairly generic.

Michael Goldsman

Comfortable neighborhood all-in-one grocery store, wine store, coffee shop, restaurant.

Nathan Dibben

Great service staff and atmosphere. You can definitely taste how fresh all the food is.

Joon Lee

Not a big fan of brunch in general but when I do go, I want the food to be pitch perfect and much better than that of some diner around the corner. And yes the food is great at this spot, both mine and my wife's dishes were cooked to perfection. The service could be better though.

Olga Munoz

Delish! Best roasted potatoes in town. I had the egg white omelette with veggies (yummmm) and bacon on the side - sausage was ok. All fresh and delicious. Service was ok.

Paul Park

Delicious, worth the little extra $

Arthur Valhuerdi

I hate to praise it because it is hard enough getting a table. Top notch organic food served by a great staff. Everything I have had here has been delicious. The mixology is amazing as well, wonderfully unique drinks.

Marina Ross

In the ten years of living here, this is the only restaurant in NYC that I have eaten at twice in a span of two days. I have been SEARCHING for a restaurant like this. Skip all the fluff in NYC and savor a beautiful, fresh, exceptional meal that was obviously prepared with such love at Foragers Table. You'll thank me.

Javier Kohen

I really liked the food here. The flavors were complex, everything was very fresh and each option on the menu is really a highlight. The service is friendly and attentive and the decor is pleasant. I'll be back for sure.

Leah Wonski

Had dinner here with 4 friends and it was a delicious meal. Appetizers and entrees were very good, and the waitress was familiar with gluten free dishes. Our waitress didn’t seem very knowledgeable about wine, but the cocktails were very good and everyone enjoyed the GF dessert. A very nice meal.

The Foragers Table located in the Gem Hotel at 300 West 22nd Street in the Chelsea area Manhattan, nyc is somewhat of a hotel sports bar. However, the difference between a hotel sports bar and Foragers Table is Foragers Table have a more extensive menu. Was there for Sunday Brunch with a friend from Michigan this weekend, and the joint was pretty hip. The clientele young and happy, by happy, I mean loud. They were very nice and well mannered. The place was dim lighted and dark when you enter the restaurant. Then after a few minutes, you are about to adjust your eyes and focus. The food fresh and only adequate. The music was quite loud, Saturday night loud. The staff is extremely nice and professional.

Caitlin Smith

This place deserves zero stars. I was served undercooked, bloody chicken. The waiter seemed nonplussed by my complaint and no one apologized, not even the manager, who refused to comp me for my meal. I didn't feel well the next day. I couldn't believe how unconcerned they were about food safety. What really upset me was that I tried to follow up with upper management via email, but no one ever replied to my emails. This place is a joke and needs a lesson on proper hospitality.

Helen Chang

Greatest pancake I ever had!!!

Gwen Beaven

The gnocchi was so so, heavy.

Priscilla Park

Not so good but very pricey. We got the Shashuka with eggs $18, and Orange blossom Ricotta pancakes $20. Shakshuka was too sour/tart and vinegary tasting, and the dish was overwhelmed by too much carrots and barely cooked garbanzo beans, and not much other veggies, drowning in a sour/vinegary tasting tomato broth. Ricotta pancake was good but there was no orange blossom (had some shredded candied orange peel and one dead looking and tasting (not fresh) strawberry. The only reason why I’m giving some stars is due to the very friendly staff.

Curt Jacques

Gets the job done... But beer was flat. Waffle was dry and had no crisp to it. Watched the bacon go in the deep fryer. Eh. Good service.

Alex Stadler

Very good food. Nice atmosphere. Great service.

Greg Bayles

Super amazing food, creative and tasty drinks, a fun aesthetic, and great service! The bartender was really friendly and made awesome cocktails. Our waiter was really attentive and made great recommendations for food. We did their 3-course special, and it was super yummy! The stinging nettle soup is a new favorite for sure. Desserts were both good, but between the pie and the cake/brownie, definitely go for the pie :)

David Choi

Quality ingredients but a bit pricey with smallish portions.

TJR Osborne

I love this place! No Nonsense. Get your food, grab a seat. No Wi-Fi. But you can tap into NYC link.

Judy Tocatlian

nasty manager and dirty kitchen, food sucks

Peggy Wu

I’d have given 5 stars for the coffee and atmosphere - however minus 4 stars for the rudeness since the reception girl didn’t want to give me a seat for coffee first place. However another staff interrupted the conversation when he saw me leaving and led me in anyways. There’s first time for anything in NYC I guess.
