This Restaurant is included in the category of French restaurant.
Nice restaurant, great staff but horrible food. I was highly disappointed with the quAlity of the food. I went there last night with a group of friends for dinner and we were all so shocked at the lack of flavor in the food. The tuna tartare had no taste, steak was dry so was the chicken, crab cake was below standard actually everything we had was below standard for French food. I’ve Never had magret de canard so dry and hard as a rock. Will not return
I had a great time at this place! The servers are very entertaining and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.
15$ for a Ricard. It deserves a negative rating.
Staff aren't the friendliest and the menu is a bit misleading, we ordered the "boneless chicken" and it came bone in. Cash or Amex only here. Otherwise nice place.
One of my favourite restaurant. Excellent for lunch, especially during spring/summer with all windows open. Enjoy a glass of rose on the terrace while watching people walking down the streets of soho. Hip and trendy clientele, mostly European. Really busy Brunch on Sunday (make sure to have a reservation AND arrive early). After 4pm the brunch turns into something else (in the good way), be ready to make new friends and dance . For a quieter atmosphere, it is best to come for dinner during a week night. Insider tip: cash only or American express.
Excellent French food. Being from France, I can tell that it's often not the case with a lot of so called French restaurants in NYC and elsewhere.
Great brunch spot but wayyy too overcrowded
They dont take cards but american express! Whattttt? In NYC IN 2019? .... awful.
Incompetent and rude hostess. Mediocre food. Extremely loud music, impossible to chat. Very small space, poor decoration. Drunk people. Do NOT come here if you have some taste and actually want to enjoy a nice brunch with your friends where you can talk to each other.
lively bistro with gorgeous windows and outdoor seating looking into the heart of soho
Pretty good food. A little on the expensive side but not too bad. Decent service.
Let’s sum up our experience: They only take cash so we asked why, no explanation, ok let’s go withdraw some cash. We come back to pay and they make us wait for 15 minutes before telling us a price twice as high as the one they asked to other customers for the same thing. They were obviously not pleased with us asking about what was going on with their business, and they just answered with a condescending « welcome to NY ». Quite ashamed of this behavior from fellow French people.
As a restaurant I don’t recommend it but as a bar it’s such an amazing place. I went there on Sunday night and the restaurant becomes a bar. Great music and ambient. I recommend it to go grab a beer and dance.
Always love the vibe here...its like being home!!! Come for brunch and stay for the fun!!!
Food is fine. Drinks are fine.If you go for dinner beware of the french main waiter that will get notably drunker and drunker as the night goes by and will continue to forget your order. Also only accepts Amex or cash. ?!?!
Felix is the most authentic restaurant in New York. It is the place that I go when I want to feel at home.
Food is average for a French restaurant. You can only pay cash or AMEX so not convenient for payment options. Very loud and felt more like a night club then an intimate French dining experience
Hospitality sucks, the food was very tasteful!
French ambiance, French food, French people, amazing in the weekend sometimes packed. Also it s AMEX or Cash...
Good atmosphere, a little bit expensive. Little dishes.
Felix has been around forever. Still has good food and atmosphere.
A little light on service, but damn that was a good burger.
Good vibes, great escargot, great branzino but very subpar duck breast. Was far to tough and chewy.
Good atmosphere, average food.
Services were a bit slow but worth it to not be rushed food and drinks were great I am definatly going back
Great food and staff!
Great place to party on a Sunday evening!
I went there at 4pm on Sunday and the place was packed, buzzing with an amazing vibe. There was people queuing outside and the place was really busy. The poor people sitting down to eat were surely uncomfortable given how packed the place was. I only had rose and did not eat there. Highly recommended on an nice sunny day!
WORST PLACE IN NEW YORK!!!! Please NEVER EVER come here!!!! Staff is so rude, food is not good at all, and everything is SO expensive!!! Wouldn’t recommend it... not even to my worst enemy
Ordered the duck breast and it was hard as rock, very hard to even chew....potato gratin was great though. Would not visit again.
Totally unbelievable food absolutely delicious coquilles saint-jacques perfect.. brings me back to the old days on the bridge over the River Kwai...
Euro euro euro. Like buddah bar in '99
Great place to have Latin Fun!!!
Thursday and Sunday night is a must
Great latin music!! Also oldies
Horrible and extremely rude hostess... They don't accept credit cards, so I went to the atm to get cash, and when I tried to get in again she shouted to my face that I needed to make the long line... I just was trying to pay.
Waiter was extremely rude, we were there on Saturday and the Bloody Mary was terrible, the drinks were very expensive!!!!! Do not recommend this place
We were a party of five grabbing drinks at the bar. $15 a drink: typical NYC price, but they only accepted AMEX or cash... After the first rounds of drinks I ordered a seltzer and the waiter at the bar charged me $5 for it! Ridiculous! Everyone else was drinking cocktails, one seltzer should be on the house or $1-2, NOT FIVE BUCKS.
Cute place with nice vibe. Food is good and french inspired, but nothing extra special. The ambiance is where the magic happens. Love sitting in the windows and people watching. Fun for small groups, too!
Great place to watch world cup soccer and they have a delightful lunch menu.
It is unfortunate that I have to write this review but this place deserves less than 1 star for their service. I made a reservation for a large group two weeks prior to the event, called a week before to confirm, everything seemed fine. The day of the reservation I got there a few minutes earlier to make sure everything was in order before my group arrived. The restaurant failed to mentioned that they were having a “la bastille day” celebration that included a large bocce set up in the middle of the restaurant and a very large crowd. Needless to say, there was no space for a large table. The manager, while trying to make up for their mess, placed a bunch of improvised chairs and tables in a corner where once seated, there would be no way out. What really bothered me was the total lack of consideration and respect for my time. Fortunately, one of my friends was able to get us to another place where we were treated like valuable customers.
Sunday nights here are the best for a party. It’s super crowded but a great curated vibe of people
Try the French onion soup!
Funky French bistro ideal for brunch
Felix a great French restaurant for any type of party
I had too much fun with my friends at this place. First we had dinner to celebrate my friend’s bday. And after dinner they started a party. great service and very lively.
Friendly relaxed atmosphere, good people.
Great atmosphere on Sundays !
the waiters wasn’t so pleasent but the food was awesome!!!
Very disappointed. My server informed me when I presented my credit card after dining that the restaurant only accepts American Express. He directed me to a discreetly placed ATM within the restaurant where I might withdraw cash . . .
I love this place, so great to party and enjoy!!!!
We had high expectations of the place for their comments, but it really was the worst service in the area. If you ever visit this place and your server is Mohamed K ask for URGENT change, the worst service and the worst experience with him. Disrespectful and very rude. Our order had salmon and the taste was not fresh and the fries were fried in a dirty old oil, we ordered a change of dish and the waiter was contemptuous and rude. The helpful and friendly manager tried to control the situation, but if you really want to live a quiet experience run away from Mohamed and change places, soho has incredible options with good service
Horrible service, super rude, and they don’t tell you that they take ONLY AmEx until they present you with a bill.
Fun xrowd must visit for brunch. Good music
Food was good, prices are a bit high. Highly recommend getting escargot and dipping bread on the leftovers
The food was good, but they only let us pay with american express or cash. You're not warned at the entry of this fact.
I visited the place for a private event and everything was great, the service was excellent, although the music could improve a little. I definitely recommend to pass by and try it.
Extremely dissatisfied experience ! One long hair was in the cassoulet. Disgusting !They even did not apologize just said I will show to the chef and came back saying it's not possible. Having seen the kitchen after all, the chef is having long grey hair and no one was wearing an hair protection.
The ultimate Parisian experience. The decor, the tables, the service, the food, the wine... I was in Paris for the night. The Magret was absolute perfection. The only reason why I am not giving Felix 5 starts is that they only accept cash and AmEx! Very inconvenient in this day and age. Time to update the payment system and I'll change my grade. Definitely going back. I strongly recommend!
Always a great experience to eat @...
Good food and wines, service was ok.
NO CLASS, VERY RUDE. The service was of a redneck truck stop diner. After 2 bottles of rose and food we were forced out without us even finishing because they had other people waiting for tables. Absolutely no clue what's so great about this place because the food was luncheonette quality but no big deal, lesson learned
Well you need to like french food to like this place, personally i don't like french food to much ,but i notice that they have a good clientele should be good for those who like french food
Boiling hot overpriced food. Would not recommend.
Very authentic and easy going Restaurant with great quality food and drinks. A great Stop when in Soho.
I understand that for good business you let women enter before men, but it is not OK that your staff mocks and treats bad the men who are trying to enter the premises.
We came here for the first time with friends. No one told us that they were NOT taking VISA or MasterCard. JUST CASH! They offer you to use an ATM that they have inside. (It cost you a fee of 3dls, plus the fee that your bank is going to charge you!) Never again we are going to come here. The food and waitresses attention is not that good either. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. I would never recommend this place, and for sure, never going to come back here.
This place is the bomb! I pack my plate up and get almost every cost of meat and I'm still paying less than a regular Brazilian buffet. I just wish I had more stomachs to eat more.
I had chicken fajita..not so much a fan of the sauce the chicken came in. The chicken and waffles were alright as well.
Wonderful French Bistro! Great food and service. Neighborly atmosphere!
The food of this place is very delicious, its amazing how a French restaurant becomes a Latin spot with good vibes on weekends, especially on Sundays. If you want to have lunch and after partying, Dj Cruz is the best, and there is a wonderful bartender, just one bartender lol
Fun wknd parties
French is always sexy lmao A french place with a french folks with an amazing music and atmosphere. What else. I love their cocktails yummi! The bartender is amazing and the owner is so friendly with all the customers. Will come back for sure!
One of the best French restaurants in Soho. Great ambiance, good food and excellent staff. A place to visit and enjoy.
Delicious and authentic French food. Nice airy decor. Will be back!
I had great memories from a few years ago, so decided to come for lunch with a friend. The food was good (but nothing outstanding), the service horrible and they ONLY accept Amex or cash- which they only let you know when you hand them your MasterCard... the attitude is just insufferable. Won’t be coming back.
Ok food in ok environment. Bring cash or Amex
Absolutely delicious food!! The steak tartare is amazing!
The staff is the best!!! And they know how to make the evening amazing!!! Pretty crowded on Sundays and it’s a festival on Sunday !!
Fun bistro!
Long running French cafe in SoHo. Beware, cash or American Express only. Frugal patrons be wary, this place is expensive. Worth the price? I guess that's up to personal taste - I think it's a tad overpriced for what it is, but you do get authentic French fare in a bistro-style location.
Great food AND service
When a full house of Euros ins't enough-- come here..
Service was not good. Food was blend but portions were good. Fries were too greasy and lamb was undercooked.
Best bar restaurant in Soho. Fantastic vibe, delicious food.
Over crowded. Nasty nasty ppl
awful service! asking us for how much tip are we going to give them so they consider serving us
French restaurant, NYC. What could be wrong with that? Nothing. Is all good.
Wonderful place and the service was great
Terrible customer service. I had made a reservation for two for brunch a full week ago and they called me 12 hours before and said they could not honor it. They made no effort to rebook me at another time or day.
Nice environnement, especially on Sundays
Good food. Terrible service
Good french food that you might expect from a common parisian street restaurant. Not fancy, just the level of the average person.
Very good brunch, good size meal. Moules were great.
It's literally one of my favorite spots in NYC
The food is good, but service is AWFUL!!! The person who took care of us was rude and it was like he was doing us a favor. Additionally , TAKE CARE!! They only accept American Express card, otherwise PAY IN CASH!!! If you are with $500 in your wallet and you are not worried about the service, you can have tasty food. It’s up to you
Superb Tartare was great Octopus is my new favorite seafood dish.
Love this lil spot in SOHO. Authentic French cuisine that's fabulous. Staff is very friendly. Always had fun here meeting people since 2004.
Great French party and fun crowd - one of our favorite places for boozy brunch
Crowded, but definitely the place to be. Yea, and this happened. Great place to hang with friends.
One of the best French Bistros
You can never go wrong on a nice summer day, a meat and cheese board with a chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc at Felix.
fun spot
This place is a institution of the bars and restaurants in the city. Nice music, good food and a decent selection of wines. If you don't know where to go this could be a good place to end. Is also great to see Football soccer world cup!
Great food and wine. A french brazilian assemblage.
Mixed bag review here. Great food. Great atmosphere. But... My party ordered cokes to drink. We received them in small glasses with mostly ice. The nice waiter, without asking, took our glasses and refilled them when they were empty. We assumed that it was free refills when this happened. It was coke, after all. Nope. When we got the bill, we were charged $5 a glass. Literally half our bill was for cokes. Small glasses of coke. I know restaurants have to make money, but this is ridiculous. In short, go ahead and order a coke with your lunch, just watch out for the attentive waiters being nice with the refills.
Soccer becomes futbol here.
Stopped in for a cocktail, had a French 75 with lavender, yummy
Bomb food
Good was ordinary, so was the wine. Overpriced for the quality. But lots of French expatriates, so good place to practice your French
Underground and incredible. Get the roast chicken, its a 10+.
Nice bistro with good food
Unfortunately I was able to catch an old man with white hair walk into the kitchen and stick his dirty hands into the pile of French fries that my kids where about to eat. Unsanitary.
Good food, slow service, only take American express card or cash
The french touch in New-York. I love this place!
Way more fun before the whole #meetoo thing.
Went here for the first time. We ordered a burger and were not asked how we wanted it cooked. Half the burger was well done and the other was raw. We sent the burger back half eaten. We are give our half burger back cooked more not a new burger. One additional bite and inside was raw still only the outside of the part we bite into was browned. We sent it back again. It was given back with a half a roll and the quarter of the meat we still didn’t finish. Was our eaten food out back on the grill again?Guess what. It was still pink inside of the browned outside. We didn’t bite it but cut it In have to see what they did with this silly little quarter of a sandwich we were charged $22 for...The check came and we had to insist with the waiter that the burger be taken off the bill. He told us he had to ask the supervisor with no sorry. It was taken off but no sorry from the waiter and the manager never came over to the table. Who reheats food you send back wrong and puts the eaten part back on the grill. What type of cook doesn’t understand how to cook the inside of a burger. Don’t waste your time here.
Lamb shank was dry and bland... could use more flavor... french fries were soggy... If you cant make good firm crispy french fries then God help... Ambience was good...
We had a fundraising event here and couldn't be more happy with the service we received. Geoff, the bartender, was attentive and ensured we were never without drink. Chef Pierre's Chicken Lolipops (a sophisticated version of a chicken wing) were absolutely delicious. The entire staff made the experience a great one. Thank you!!
Only accept 2 forms of paynent
The vibe was really good in this restaurant. Food was so so.
Coolest place in Soho. The place to be. Great staff. Great vibe.
I don't know about other menus but I liked my risotto
Only takes Amex and cash! Food was pretty good - had the crab cake with tartare sauce entree, roast chicken main and steak. However, service could be better. Hard to flag down the waiter, and when you did, they didn’t even acknowledge you when taking down the order. Refill of water was slow and I had a couple of dirty plates.
It was my favorite restaurant for brunch, but the quality of service significantly declined since then. Today I had to ask for the check multiple times, they forgot to bring sugar so I had to ask two different waiters twice. They don’t pay much attention to details. The price tag is quite high and the service is quite low. The food is still very good though.
Horrible experience and very rude staff. The manager’s response: That’s how Félix is, if you don’t like it leave — after buying several bottles.
Pretty good bilanguage attention. Food is excellent, and nice ambientce.
Average food, overcrowded and really expensive. Not my nicest experience
