Arrived in NYC hungry and just looked what restaurant s were in area. This place is nothing short of fantastic. A bit small but curry was nice as well as cold asian sesame chicken noodles. Lamb dumplings are a must try.

Excellent service, food was absolutely delicious. At first glance the menu is on the pricier side, but after eating there I think it's fairly priced for the quality and quantity of it. Have a cute little backyard nook for outside eating too! Really loved the green papaya salad and the eggplant dishes.

Chop Shop is incredible...I eat here too often; it is almost embarrassing. The green curry with shrimp and eggplant is fire, the vegetable Penang curry is delicious...effectively you can't go wrong here, and it's not even exorbitantly expensive. Highly recommended.

Really great service. We tried three appetizers: summer rolls, pork belly buns and lamb dumplings. The sauce that came with the summer rolls was so delicious that we saved it to dip our other food in. The pork belly buns are the reason we’ll come back here. The pacing was wonderful. The portions were sent as ready one at a time. Exactly fresh, and never delayed. :)

Good, competent Thai food. Service was fine until we barely finished our lunch and the waiter informed us we would have to change tables to accommodate a group; not cool. So, sorry Chop-Shop, you lose major points for being jerks. The food is good but you're not so awesome you can push people around like you're a Michelin award-winning establishment (and I don't suffer jerks anywhere). I'll give you another chance in the future but don't be rude to your clientele.

Food is stellar, staff polite and vibe unassuming. If you were to pass it on the street, you could miss it easily, or dismiss it for not looking all that exciting. Great neighborhood gem, and everytime I serve take out to my friends Chop-shop makes new fans. Must try Chicken kung pao, Salt and pepper shrimp(yes, eat with shells on!), short ribs(in every preparation), pork chop, pork buns, fried rice with Chinese sausage, lamb dumplings, etc. Great to eat outside when weather allows.

Stumbled upon this place by accident. Such a cosy, atmosphere and the food is delicious. I tried the Chicken Pad Thai and spring roll. I highly recommend for the quality of the food and the prices are very reasonable! Last, on a nice day request to sit outside in the back patio area. You're welcome!

I went in there to sit with friends who had ordered food after I got food to go next door. I sat with my friends and ate my food which a few minutes later I was told I couldn't eat in there so I stopped eating and continued to sit down with my friends who were eating food purchased there. Two friends stopped in and said hi and then the staff asked us to leave. After our 2 friends left the staff continued to ask me and my 3 other friends to leave. They said that since we ordered food to go we had to leave because lunch gets busy and food ordered to go is for home or the office not their restaurant but the entire place was empty except maybe 2 other customers. The employees were rude to us simply due to the fact that we were teenagers even though we were spending money there. Would not go back.

This delicious Asian eatery is convenient to the galleries of Chelsea, the High Line Park, and the Whitney. Business lunches are brisk, so expect to await a table if arriving at peak times. Dinner is equally delicious with dimmer lighting and a more relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for dinner before a show or date night.

I really enjoyed their projects belly bun and braised rib Thai curry. But I feel some of the dish are overpriced (especially their dumping dishes... $8 for 4 piece seen a little excessive). "Backyard" searing is a nice touch.

I ordered salmon fried rice for $16.00... wasn't expecting it to be a side dish but that's what I considered the portion to be. They should probably make people aware that the rice dishes are not entrees. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Nice ambience.

I'm rarely in Chelsea, so haven't been there recently. Went a lot when it first opened. I love the spicy Japanese eggplant. My family and friends have always enjoyed this place.

Really tasty high quality pan-Asian food in a chilled out restaurant. We had an hour to kill before going to the Sleep No More production and found this place on Google Maps by chance and am so glad we did! We had the veggie dumplings to start and I never knew dumplings could taste like that- not the little rubbery things you usually get but more like a deep fried pasta dumpling with a really tasty filling. And the green curry for my main was as good as I’ve had in Thailand, with large succulent juicy prawns and melt in the mouth aubergine (eggplant). The staff are really helpful with allergies- know their food inside out- and the atmosphere is really relaxed with candlelight and good Sunday evening tunes. Definitely worth a visit.

place seems to be some sort of cult. I liked the fact they had some high end can ams but i don't understand what all the fuss is about? they were closed when I got there. I heard that they are not cheap to begin with. I wanted to bring my BW here but decided to go to the dealer cus this place is like a nobody place far as I can tell. Some creepy tow guy told me to go here but I decided not to go.

Thin and narrow room, bright with low ceiling seems like typical asian restaurant at San Francisco. Food is good, but place is really pricy and portion is way smaller than usual. Nice crowd, nice back-door garden-patio, but i wouldn't say i'll be happy to came back.

Mediocre place for "asian fusion".. of course it's super americanized. I do like the outside tables, despite the humidity that day. I ordered the Zhajiangmian and it was super soaked in soy sauce. It didn't really have much taste to it except for salty. And it was pretty expensive for the small portion. Most likely won't come back again. Unless..starving.

I came here with my girlfriend after walking the High-Line on a nice Saturday. We built up an appetite and this place was the close by. Sadly, We should have searched for a reviewed location. The food was a big letdown. We were able to sit at back 'outdoor' room. Sitting in the back is really quiet. I was over hearing the conversation from the couple 2 tables away from us. We ordered the bun and it was very sad and disappointing. At $4 each I wanted to more. Not because it was tasty but I expected more of it. The bun (bread) was cold so it made the filling inside cold faster. $4 for 2 bites is not really worth unless it's really tasty. My gf ordered a spicy shrimp chow fun noodles. And I got the braised short ribs with radish. The chow fun sauce tasted like watered down shiracha. And my braised short rib lacked salt was not tender enough to get the melted collagen texture. We also shared the snow pea veggie stir fry. We both enjoyed that dish the best because it was flavor stuff and had a fresher taste compared to our entrees. This place might be good to come for drinks and chit chat but I would not come here for the food. This place needs to replace the old tired Chinese cooks with a 'rock star' chef. We should have taken the train downtown for a more complete meal. We walked down 6 blocks to Artichoke pizza and shared a $5 pizza slice to finish our meal and then walked but uptown to the Bus terminal.
