This Restaurant is classified in the category of Italian restaurant.
Used to be my goto place due to building discount, but the food is truly just ok, and it's now a complete tourist trap given the price increases
Yummy food, great atmosphere and best service in the area, will be back !
Food was okay. I ordered one dish, and was brought another. Customer service was horrible. They forgot about 2 people's orders that were with us. Don't waste your money here.
The pasta here is ok. I think that the fettuccine alfredo is one of the better plates here but other plates I tried were just ok. I know that they used the boxed pasta from the brand Barilla, but if they use handmade pasta or something fresher it would've tasted better. This is the kind of place where you order lunch for work or something, I wouldn't recommend eating dinner here.
Mecca of pasta lovers, quick service, quirky atmosphere, great food even better prices. Would recommend to every Barilla fan out there
Doesn't want to have fast food or sandwiches for lunch but doesn't want to pay for a decent meal for its dinner price? Check out Barilla! I ordered a salmon pasta for lunch and paid about $13 (don't quote me though). Lunch time can be busy but the line runs quick. You can order to go, but it is also a good place to sit down for lunch and eat with your colleagues and friends.
Good food, but the service can be much better
I was on visit from Germany. I ate Italian food a few times in the United States. Normally it's not as good as in Germany (or Italy) but this was one of the best Italian restaurants, I've ever visited.

Love this place, can't get enough of the wonderful pasta, just as good as when we were in Italy Wanted to have 2 bowls, but didn't Wonderful
Their food amazing!
Good pasta
Good for a quick bite to eat. Reasonably priced compared to many other local alternatives.
Nice staff, very welcoming, friendly and aware of the good service and taste of the serving dishes.
Lovely place. The pasta is delicious. By a couple of staff members suggestion, I ordered Tiramisu. It was one of the best sweets I've ever had. Would visit again if I come back to New York
We had a great dinner here!! Food was delicious
Chicken tasted terrible and gluten free penne was hard. Flavors were there but poor execution on texture. Customer service was great, the manager was extremely polite and helpful.
Absolutely fantastic!!! The food is amazingly prepared and presented. The test is fantastic (I am italian... a very picky one) and the portions are generous too. It has been a pleasure to meet the staff which is always ready to help clients and suggest dishes. Thanks!!!
Nice atmosphere and GREAT people. Had my dinner here first time with my fiance and it was an wonderful time here.
Quick, larger than expected portions, friendly staff. Not busy at the lunch hour. Hidden gem....but easy to find.
Great food and very reasonable prices!
Good choice for good pasta served fast
The pasta portions look small but they're enough to make you feel full. Vegetarian options available.
Cheap and cheerful fast casual restaurant. Nice place for a quick bite. Mostly pasta, sometimes pizza (not available at lunchtime when I went), salads. Beer and wine (limited selection). Pasta is good and al dente. Not fine dining and no surprises. But good for a plate of carbs...
The food was delicious. Service was pleasant. Would go again.
Great place to have a filling and tasty lunch, we visited around lunch time and it was pleasantly quiet. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. There is a great choice from the menu however I went with the "Linguine Al Pesto" which was cooked perfectly, pesto was flavoursome and not too overpowering. The total cost of the meal with a soft drink was very reasonably especially when you can pay a lot more in other places, would go again!

Great food.. Messed up my order but replaced it right away.. Cheap sit down experience in Manhattan
Great food, very friendly staff, awesome experience overall. Will go again. They even offer ice cold self service water for whoever comes in (see photo). Well deserved 5 stars.

Order and pay at the counter, seat yourself, and they bring the food to the table. It makes for a great, quick Italian meal. I imagine many Italian grandmothers would be against such a place, but it is very satisfying in a pinch.
Delish and good experience
Nice atmosphere and cool pasta bar. Unfortunately even though they advertise that they are a green restaurant and are good for the planet each pasta dish and pizza crust come in its own personal plastic bag. We sat at the bar facing the open glass kitchen and saw the pile of plastics bags being thrown away after each dish was being prepared.
Food was good. They also served decent wine.
Here’s the scene. It’s late one evening and we’re back at the hotel room near 30 rock after legitimately 10+ hours of walking around nyc in the humid summer heat. We’re so hungry we can barely contain ourselves. There are a few local cafes and stores near the hotel but I figured we could do better so I hop on google to see what’s up. I find this little gem Casa Barilla not too far away, probably a 10 min walk from the room. It suddenly hits us, it can’t be! It is! It’s the same company as the pasta you buy in the store! Surely it’s gotta be good, we’re thinking. It was! So here’s the deal. It’s like a fast food service type restaurant but top quality. You order at the front and then sit down and they bring it to wherever you’re sitting. I was feeling quite hungry this particular night as I described above so I went with 2 main dishes and we shared an appetizer. All of the food was excellent. The pastas were what you’d expect from a local Italian nyc eatery and the pizzas as well. For the price, the speed and ease, there’s no better option in the area. Will be returning 100% and would recommend it to anyone nearby looking for some good filling Italian food with something for everyone on the menu.
Googled for a local cheap but good food and found this gem blocks away from Rockerfeller Center! Great food and great service. Also, you’ll love the bill total! :)
Extremely rude staff. Food is cheaply made. Tables are not being cleaned. Server was too dumb to understand that with 4 people we need 4 forks and knives. He literally asked us how many pieces we needed after the 2 he just gave...
great pasta, reasonably priced
Good value for your buck. There are not too many items on the menu but they are all very tasty and reasonably priced for NYC. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to Trump Tower, Rockefeller Center and other famous places in Midtown Manhattan.
Awesome food and great service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Authentic Italian restaurant with a class decor. Loved their pastas, could not try anything else. I had a pesto pasta and a pink sauce pasta. Loved the pink pasta more. Also the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of their food! Do give it a try :)
Nothing really special about this place, but the pasta is tasty. Not mind blowing though, so keep your expectations at bay. Prices are below average so considering the amount of seating area - budget tourist should consider going there. Definitely more comfortable than food trucks :)
I have to say... That going to Casa Barilla was one of the more disappointing meals of my New York trip. I noticed that I hadn't had any Italian food while I've been in town so me and my mom looked for something that was close and not expensive around. We went to Casa Barilla with high expectations as they have very high ratings! But we both agreed once we got our food, this was something that anybody can make with $5 at the grocery store. It was very clear that they had limited options as they don't even have veggies you can put into your pasta. It's basically just noodles sauce and meatballs. They have a lovely wine selection which we took advantage of and the staff was super friendly! They even gave my mom a complimentary glass of wine because she was undecided on what she wanted. So for them I give three stars. But for the food I say save your money or go somewhere with better options. I'd also like to point out that on Google Maps this restaurant has one $, but inside it seemed like we were paying $$ prices for $ food. So I'm not going to say I'd recommend this place but again love the staff!
Good Italian place great spaghetti, and great price.
Loved, Italy's flavor
Refreshing! The pasta was prepared perfectly and the Beyond Meat was delicious. Would absolutely recommend.
Food is average... penne pasta was nearly cold when served, only 4 slices of pepperoni on the pizza.... no wine (at all! They have 6 different wines on the menu?!)... bathrooms extremely dirty. Just go somewhere else
Even though it is a chain restaurant in nyc... definitely better than olive garden
Nice for pasta that is quite good, but not too expensive.
Classic Italian restaurant that I enjoy to visit on my lunch break pretty frequently. Tried out the spaghetti pomodoro with beyond sausage added recommended by the cashier, she actually assists me every day during the week. Very sweet girl I believe her name was Lydia. She really helped me customized the dish which was awesome. Normally it’s very busy when I go in but the staff handled every guest with kindness and grace. The service is so great and that what makes me come back.
I love this place, excellent food, service and great price!

Delicious pasta at a good price!! ts very good value for money alternative.
High quality pasta at reasonable price point..Great ambience
Finally. Great simple pasta dishes and other Italian treats. Good coffee as well.
Barilla is always an excellent option when it comes to a delicious pasta, salad and pizza at a reasonable price. Excellent quality and customer service. Highly recommended!
Amazing place, service and price. I will come back for sure.
Good place for a quick satisfying lunch. Good food quick service. Not crazily crowded. Clean place.
Great experinence! A very good taste!
Having dinner at Cassa Barilla was a great experience. Everything looked so good and the staff was so friendly and helpful; I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. I ended up getting the Fetachini Alfredo with chicken, and it was so good. Actually, we got a double order (instead of two separate orders of the same thing) because it was a little cheaper. It came in large serving bowl with two plates. The atmosphere of the dining area was pleasant and enjoyable. I wish we had one of these restaurants close to home!
This place was PACKED when we were here. It’s also very unorganized, but with that being said, the staff was great! There’s no real system here. Some people sit down first and then order. And then some order, then find a table. This created a lot of chaos because a group of 10 tried to take three/four tables close together when their whole party wasn’t even there yet. But the staff kindly stepped in and told them they would have to wait because there were people who had ordered and didn’t even have a table to sit at (my fiancé and I) The food was pretty good. The pasta was a little dry but I prefer mine pretty saucy. The pizza was great, but there was a lot of flour on the crust which made it kind of dusty, but still flavorful and tasty.
Very reasonable prices and good portions. The pastas are really delicious and sauces even fresher!
Loved it!! Had some favortie mix of pastas and pizza. The server was super helpful. The ambience was chic and modern
Nice ambient and delicious pasta
The food was okay, but the restaurant doesn't provide high chairs. As this is a casual, sit-down restaurant. This is completely unacceptable and such a basic consideration. What are customers with small children to do? Are we not allowed to sit down and eat our meal? We weren't the only family in the restaurant, when we left, another family entered with 2 small children....
Good pasta, nice and tasty.
Chicken smelled bad and ice cold, manager was unprofessional and refused to return. Horribly Managed.
This place is awesome! Great food, authentic Italian Cuisine for a reasonable price. The atmosphere was quaint and peaceful. The cleanliness was superb. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is second to none. You can have a filling Italian Dish along with a beverage (non-alcoholic) for less than $20. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great service and amazing food
Great pesto and pizza but marinara suace is bland for the taste
Food was ok - basically fast food Italian style
The pizza was good, but the pasta was not tasty at all. Felt like pasta from the box.

Outstanding food and the service was exceptional.
I ordered penne salmon. Penne came all dent but the salmon came really raw and cold. But I will give them another chance... the restaurant is clean and nice. Staffs are very helpful.. you pay and sit.. they send your order to your table..
A cool place with very friendly staff. Had fettuccine, pesto pizza, and mushroom pasta. All of them were really good.

Went to this place after reading positive reviews. Tried Penne Al Tartufo with chicken. Sauce was amazing. Overall it tasted good. Don’t miss the Tiramisu, it’s just heaven!!
The pasta there was amazing! Definitely recommend.
very lovely place to do a quick bite to eat with friends or family. the workers there are wonderful people. making sure all is comfortable. I ordered a the rigatoni and the chicken was so great
Great spot for lunch. Fresh flavours. Fast food.
Nice choice of pasta, had lentil penne with beyond meat
Good food and affordable price.
Inexpensive food for the area and it was worth every penny. Would 100% go again!
Finally! An inexpensive place in the city with good pasta. Their corn chowder soup was delicious too; it tasted like the corn was cut right off the cob seconds ago and wasn't too thick. The staff is friendly and keeps the place clean. I strongly recommend this place as the bang for the buck is unbeatable for his part of town.
food is ok but portions are on the small size
It's a gem in the city, the pasta is delicious and fair prices.
The food here is amazing, although my only complaint is that, due to the self-seating setup of this restaurant, if it's busy it can be hard to sit with a group. This is minor though, and the food here is incredible, with very friendly staff and quick service.
Affordable place for a quick bite. For pasta or a flatbread under $10 and quick service, this is a solid place.
Excellent place for pasta lunch. Missed our location @ 32nd street Broadway. I will travel to this local for great!
Great pasta! And they give us a gourmet book for free!
Great value, great food, and fantastic service. Definitely recommend this one of you are in NYC.
The Linguini au Pesto is super yummy, and try the mixed berry lemonade! Great ambiance!
The food is great. The staff needs to better learn how to deal with the lunch rush
Cashier Jaleel was the best!!! Food is incredible.
I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was one of the best versions I've ever had. The entire family enjoyed the various pasta dishes and pizza too. Great service from the wait staff and cashiers, food is served quickly and hot. I would definitely go back!

Good gluten free options, place was packed and they had no pizza!
Really yummy and reasonable prices. You spend around 1 hour here, we wait for the order 20 mins, I guess my lasagna needed extra time. Very nice place.
Great fresh pasta and pizza served in reasonable time at very reasonable price. Recommend for a lunch time quick bite.
Meh.... Had a standard bolegnese sauce and paid extra for spicy Italian sausage to be added. NO FLAVOR..... Sauce was extremely bland and even the sausage had no flavor and definitely not ANY spice what-so-sever. Disappointing.
Barilla is a fantastic spot to grab a tasty and casual meal. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. I especially recommend the tortellini Alfredo! It was delicious! I will definitely be coming back to Barilla.
Very nice restaurant with good food and not expensive. The penne al salmone is recommended, tastes very good
Good pasta, nice set up, good location, good prices
Fantastic, cheaper and tasty
The spaghetti beyond meatballs were great. Service was quick. It's a good spot for lunch.
Little chaotic service. We had soup and pasta. The later one came first. The food itself was okay at best.
Nice place for pasta lovers. Not many options for vegetarians.
Love the food and the portion sizes. The pesto was too oil for my taste.
Good service. Polite waiters and delicious food. A good place to spend an evening with friends.
Authentic Italian restaurant with a class decor. Loved their pastas, could not try anything else. I had a pesto pasta and a pink sauce pasta. Loved the pink pasta more. Also the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of their food! Do give it a try :)
Ordered a pizza, lasagna and a salad. Was not too impressed with any of them. Good for a quick bite but nothing special.
Food
Very busy place. Only one waiter to serve everybody. I took Spaghetti alla Carbonara and the meat was only fat. The quantity of pasta was not enough. Plus, they did not have pizza when I came, I only had the choice between pasta and salad.
Food is spectacular and service is top notch
Stopped by for lunch during the work week and it was great. The service was fast and extremely friendly. Order at the counter and have your food delivered to your table. Pasta and soup was good, would definitely recommend.
The pasta was delicious and the service was great.
Presently surprised at how good the food was here! And they have Beyond Meat vegetarian add on options as well!
I am overall pretty impressed with this place. Although the atmosphere is just okay the food is amazing. The service was overall pretty good too.
Pretty solid place for a quick plate of pasta. Convenient location near Rick Center.
Good Italian food at affordable price
Yummy quick Italian food. Think Panera for Italian!
Food is good but the portions are very small
Great place to eat, prices are really good
Delicious! The food came out fast and it tasted fresh. I had the Rogatoni Piemontesi and it was mouth watering great!
I loved the family seating, but there was no one to direct the customers when they arrived and the seating was a free for all. My daughter raved about the food she had before, but I was sorely disappointed the pasta dish I had. There was no flavor in the dish it was chicken and broccoli ravioli with Alfredo sauce. There was no seasoning not even salt or pepper. The only thing that saved the day was the pizza.
Fantastic pasta, at a very affordable price
Cute little place with good food at a good price. My only complaint is that the seating is limited, so you either have to take your food home or hope a table opens up. Other than that the food is pretty good, perfect if you’re in the mood for Italian but don’t want to break the bank
Great quality 4 money. Italian food!
Great home style food and the prices are terrific.
Great food and ambiance... Recommended!
Nice place for a quick pasta dish
Food was decent. We just expected so much more from NYC. Did learn that spaghetti sauce and sriracha sauce mix well together.
Good pasta
Simple, yet honest food, based on Barilla pasta. Nice environment and quick service at a very acceptable price.
Really nice place, super reasonable prices and tasty food. Would go again!
Not your traditional Italian, but what do you expect from a restaurant operated by a pasta manufacturing corporation. The whole purpose of this establishment seemed to be to demonstrate pasta dishes that can be easily recreated at home, thus undermining the whole purpose of going to the restaurant. Would give 1 star, but given the price point, the purpose of the establishment, and the selection of imported Italian beers, I'll give it 2.
Their pizza is fantastic. I don't like many pizza places, and this is one I consider my favorites. Their toppings are delicious and well-paired. I like the vegetarian and the one with prosciutto the best. I get the small so that I don't get too tired in the afternoon from the bread.
Staff was AWESOME. Food was pretty good too!
Great place for cheap Italian, all the basics. Modern layout, and eco-friendly pasta straws!
Love the "Beyond Meat" dishes, great little find for vegetarian visitors
Went for lunch there on a weekday. Quick, tasty, clean, very reasonably priced considering the location. Nice personnel. Starred place.
great food great service . Andre's Cool
Food was ok lasagna tasted like Stouffer's
Good food! Lunch time can be busy but the line runs quick.
Food so good it's close to being illegal.
We ordered Spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti meatballs as well as two iced tea peach! The staff was very very friendly and the food was good! Go ahead and try it if you are looking for good pasta during your shopping tour!
Love it, but they moved and don't find another one
Great bang for your buck. Got there right before lunchtime, when all the office people were taking lunch, and they handled that line wonderfully.
I must admit that I was surprised how good the pasta is. Good food, decent portions and affordable price in a nice casual setting.
Decent food. Nice people good price for NYC
Good food, not very comfortable space though
Great price. Good food. Ambiance is comfortable. It reminds me of panara bread. You can get wine and beer as well. I will go again.
Good food, balanced seasoning, menu with classic options, very reasonable price
I’ve only ordered online. The pizza is fantastic.
Pleasantly surprised! Food was outstanding and you have choices of pasta and pizza. The staff was tremendous. Absolutely loved it and with those prices I see myself coming here more often:)
Rich and abundant food, good service!
Reasonable prices pasta which in NYC is hard to find. But it was good and filled you up.
Great prices, great food quality and flavors.
Pasta. Good. Nothing to get crazy about.
You need to order the food yourself meaning when you enter you grab a menu and sit down anywhere you like. Then you need to take your order to a counter where they'll place your order. The food came out surprisingly quick. That being said I had the tortellini and the filling was dry and texture wise just not what I was expecting. The place was pretty cozy though which was nice.
Food was great. There's a lot of room for improvement in the serving. It wasn't very crowded when we were waiting for our food, but the four dishes came out haphazard and two of our party were well past done with our dinner when the other two dishes came out. Must be a better way to ensure the whole ticket comes out timely.
I didn't know they had a Restaurant. I only knew of the packaged pasta at the store. Great food
Read the positive reviews and was excited about eating here, unfortunately I could hardly find any positive! Staff weren’t friendly and food wasn’t good! Spaghetti carbonara didn’t seem fresh seems like it had been sitting in a pot and only heated up when someone ordered it! We ordered a side of meatballs which were freezing cold! The only good thing was the pizza which was nice! But I wouldn’t go back! Sorry!
Such beautiful pasta with great serving sizes!
Good pizza with quick service.
