This Restaurant belongs to the category of French restaurant.
The menu and service were beyond our expectations. We really loved the environment of this place. First-rate place to take the family out for dinner.
The food is incredible. It's more of an upscale and formal type of restaurant. We had to wait a bit for our table but it was so worth it.
Great restaurant. Top dining experience on the upper east side. I had the crescent farm duck - very nice! Great outside patio.
Great French restaurant. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Amazing food and wine choices. Love the atmosphere. Always amazing experience.
High-end restaurant with excellent quality in every aspect. .
We had a lunch in the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. All foods we tried was tasty especially the crescent farm duck which is perfectly cooked with beautiful, crispy duck skin and sauce. The molten chocolate cake was too sweat for us but the tiramisu was deserved a try. Overall we had a wonderful time for the meal.
Popped in for brunch. Great steak and beet soup. Wonderful experience.
Very nice elegant place
The lady waiting us had the utmost patience and enthusiasm for explaining the menu, and we got a cute anniversary dessert with our reservation. All our French/European dishes were great. The Kerala-style fish curry from the ‘global’ menu was abysmal and had less flavor than water, but I don’t know what I was expecting ordering strongly ethnic cuisine from a French specialist.
Not enough
The food was delicious. Their red wine sauce with the striped bass was amazing - such deep flavors. Really glad to have the opportunity to get lunch there!
A very fine dining place for French and American food, but it’s a little bit Italian too. The food and service are both super good there.
I cannot believe the Bouloud name is on this restaurant. Food was terrible, overpriced and flavorless.
The starter and dessert we good but the main course was nothing special...
Very pleased with the restaurant-week lunch. I sampled all options in the menu and recommend: cauliflower velouté followed by mushroom ravioli. The only disappointing part is the poor quality of the bread used.
Lovely food and wines, the bartender is on point! I could watch him shake and double shake all night!
Amazing experience from start to finish. Service was great up until the end when they left us sitting there without a check for 20 minutes
I tried this spot once with my friend and I am obsessed ever since. I loved the good vibes and delicious dishes and drinks. Highly recommended.
Favorite neighborhood restaurant. The service is always amazing. They go above and beyond for any special occasion. Food is delicious.
Decent brunch, great service, but a bit pricey. All the desserts were amazing!
I just like their dishes. I always get good service there. The place is well organised and the cashiers are always helpful. Will visit here again.
This is a Superb Restaurent with a great menu and a warm atmosphere. Not only the food was great.... I had the best espresso as a finale!
I knew I was going to overspend on the Upper East Side for dinner anyway, so why not shoot high? Excellent food and wait staff, very happy we made the trip
3 Michelin stars is a guarantee for taste and quality of food here, wine selection is plenty, hospitality of all staff is beyond expectation!!!
Good restaurant with a french soul. The food is tasty looking and even tastier to eat. Well done and good luck guys
Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Thank you Will and Jess for a wonderful evening. We look forward coming back in the future.
The place is really fantastic and we had a blast while we were having dinner there. The food was very tasty and we all had a delectable experience.
Best place for caviar, or a romantic French dinner date, old Hollywood style place, small but very comfortable, beautiful flower center piece in the middle of the restaurant, makes this place very elegant and romantic. Service was perfect.
Oh my God! This place is just amazing. The looks feels so classy and has that chic vibe. Definitely a place that deserves a Michelin star. The service was also commendable; like the wait staff just knows when they're needed or wanted. The food was also delicious. They deserve a perfect 5 star most definitely.
Over the road (almost) from the excellent, Carlyle is cafe Boulud. Fixed price menu is a try bargain (especially for NYC). We ate here for the same price as the Carlyle but for feed three people grandly rather than two. Service, food and ambiance is excellent, very busy but efficient. End of Summer Pie as a dessert is magnificent ( as was all the other courses) A great place for breakfast, which is all I had (a delicious omelet). Pricy, but everything in this part of Manhattan is expensive, and this is nothing out of the ordinary expense-wise. Worth a special visit for the fabulous food and service.
Very neat and welcoming restaurant. They offer big portions and for economical prices. I enjoyed the food very much and the staff members were super friendly and chatty. Highly recommended.
I love this place. They have a wide variety of food choices. There's even a Vietnamese cuisine, which was super tasty. Will definitely come back for more of these.
Best lunch I've ever had. The butter for the roll tasted very high-quality, the ceviche had a kick of spice to it without being too overwhelming and the smoked salmon was just the right saltiness. The Mains(the duck leg and cod) were perfectly portioned and were extremely flavorful. Dessert was amazing as well.
Amazing 3 course lunch!!! Perhaps the most memorable meal we had in NYC and very reasonable priced as well!
Lovely menu and tentative staff
Exquisite French cuisine, impeccable service and elegant atmosphere at this 1-star Michelin restaurant. Came here for a lovely lunch where I enjoyed a refreshing & vibrant Chilled Roasted Beet Soup, a perfectly crispy & juicy Roasted …
Fair price for good food.
Lovely classy restaurant. Attentive service. Ate here restaurant week and choices were good. Portions were good size.
The experience was truly delighting. The team was knowledgeable, meticulous and attentive. I enjoyed a warm, and welcoming atmosphere along with phenomenal food presentations and delicious flavors. Thank you for this memorable experience! I am looking forward to have you dining with the Cafe Boulud Toronto team.
Amazing food.... Great atmosphere and service. Cannot articulate in words how good this experience was.
Unfortunately I chose to go for Saturday brunch because although the menu was varied and tasty I was hoping to eat something more elaborate than eggs or chilaquiles. Nonetheless I have to say that the Benedicts with crab were tasty, the sauce was really good and the crab cakes too. Tomatoes tasted fresh. The cauliflower soup (I don’t remember the exact name) was tasty too but maybe too heavy. Their complimentary bread was delicious, so was the risotto ball with cheese and truffle. I wasn’t in the mood for desert but pastry cart looked great. Wine selection was great. Staff was super friendly and service was fast. Venue was cozy, nice, elegant but relaxed at the same time.
Always a comfortable place to come to for high caliber cuisine, including both innovative and classic dishes. Coming here for Restaurant Week is the best 30 dollars you will ever spend on a lunch.
Well this place certainly deserves its Michelin stars without a doubt. What amazing food. The fusion of flavours, the succulent meat. We had the Vietnamese grilled pork chop. Wow. We then had to have a desert which was sublime, Peach Melba. …
I came here on a busy Friday night with my family and had a nice time. The service is quick and the staff are all very nice. They pay very close attention to their customers but this can be tiring and tedious at times (not too much though). You have to choose between a selection of dishes contained within 4 categories, all of which are really novel and interesting. The food was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing and still something seemed to be missing. Maybe it was the over-the-top nature of the establishment or maybe our expectations were set way too high knowing this is a Michelin starred restaurant. Overall, we had a great time here and would definitely recommend it for the experience.
Daniel's restaurants are always great and this one is no exception
The food was good
Fantastic wait staff, service and food. Heard about this restaurant through a Netflix show and I was more than sufficiently satisfied with everything. 10/10 would recommend and come again.
A favorite location for tasty French food. Everyone at our table was enjoying everything. Service is consistently good. Prices are reasonable I would say.
We have dined at all the present and former Daniel Boulud establishments in Manhattan and adore them. I have to ding one star from last Wednesday evening, however. I always order a bottle of wine with dinner and.... this time instead of arriving before the food, the food arrived first. The staff immediately noticed my horrified facial scowl and rushed the bottle in. I had no time to savor and discuss it with my wife, before starting the appetizer. This is an absolutely freshmen mistake and should never happen in a place of this renown.
Everything was delicious. Since it was Sunday, they offer a brunch menu. For $53, you get to chose the appetizer, entree, and desert. I had the egg Benedict with the crab. And the desert was the pistachio creme pastry. The restaurant gives two complimentary baskets of Madeline cakes, which were delicious, they melted in your mouth.
Servic & Food are top class, really gives you a reason to go to the city ❤️
Completely over rated. Nice dining area but when we received just a bowl of cereal something was crawling on the rim of the bowl. Never again.
It’s hard to put into words what a lovely experience we had at dinner on October 13. The service is exceptionally polished, while also being warm. A special word of praise for our sommelier (whose name escapes me) who brought charm and enthusiasm to helping us select a Champagne that would complement our complete meal. The dishes were outstanding as were the special touches including the generous basket of warm madeleines that came at the end. How does it get better than what we experiened?
Tried twice in NYC restaurant week. 1-star Michelin fine dining place with decent environment and decor. I’d suggest go there in normal days or have the normal menu.
A Michelin one-star award winner for 2019, this little cafe (more like a restaurant) has opened two more locations in North America. The food is very good - got the prix fixe menu for $43 pp for 3 courses at lunch. They have an absolutely excellent salmon tartare for appetizer that I recommend and also the sea bream main course is a great mix of crispy skin and tender smooth flesh. We also got some bonus desserts for our anniversary - which was nice of them! Some of the servers are nice but some others are mechanical and didn't really seem to care. Also the compillimentary bread rolls are quite cold and not matching to the standard of the food. Other than that, very nice. Sophisticated atmosphere too :)
Fabulous service. Food was excellent. Well worth it.
Outstanding traditional Cafe just on the west margin of Central Park. Detail, precise and effective service by true professionals. The three course meal was excellent
Upscale atmosphere, dishes could use a little bit more of design and equilibrium in quantity.
