Ok, so I gave my co worker a lot of grief for recommending this place for lunch since I was not ready to pay $27 for a burger. He never went, and didn't look at a menu ahead of time; therefore, we didn't know what kind of price range to expect. Mistakes aside, this was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The lamb burger was so juicy, I drool thinking about it.

Nice place. The endless brunch is a good buy if you're ready to have a few. Great steak and eggs. Mimosas were nice. The bloody Mary's were strong! Not in the alcohol part, but in the spice! Nice! Most play are too scared to spice it up, not this place. Worth a visit.

Impressed by the decor when we first got in, and the highlight of this review is the decor. Had a reservation and still had to wait. They seated us at the worst table in the house. They brought menus and left us for 15 minutes. We had to ask for our own water and they immediately asked if we were ready to order and hasn't even set the table up. Food was pretty good, a little salty. Worst part of the night was the manager. Kept walking the floor giving nasty looks making it extremely uncomfortable for our dining experience. Okay place, don't plan on coming back.

This place is insanely good! The food is amazing but expensive. I would say it's still worth it and also there's a bathroom close by since they are kind of few and far between up there. The service definitely needs improvement it was pretty bad but the food made up for it. Can't recommend this place enough! Also the BBQ sauce is amazing.

Stopped into B&B per a recommendation, and was absolutely floored by the quality and taste of the classic burger! Half way into one of the juiciest pure-bred American burgers I've ever had, I noticed "Chopped" judge Mark Murphy sitting across the bar, casually munching on a lovely bowl of pasta. If it's good enough for him, I definitely made the right choice! Perfect for a business lunch or a romantic dinner date, B&B isn't cheap but it's worth the splurge. Sit alone at the bar top and try any one of the delectable burgers paired with a local craft beer (amazingly diverse selection, I must say), or bring a client or friend for a sit-down dinner and you'll both be impressed by the attention to detail, undeniable quality, and colorful plating techniques. Don't be deceived, this upscale burger joint is far more than meets the eye!

If you come here for anything, you should get the kale and artichoke dip. It was PHENOMENAL. My boyfriend and I get cheesy artichoke dip everywhere we go, so we're kind of artichoke dip snobs, and this was one of our favorites. The bash burgers we ordered were good too, and I enjoyed my molten lava cake dessert. My boyfriend said his chocolate chip cookie dish was too sweet, but still quite good. My only complaint would be that their wine is dangerously overpriced. They don't have many sweet selections by the glass, if any, and you could easily pay $16 a glass. I think that's a reach. Regardless, I'd come back here (and maybe order a different beverage next time!) and bring friends.

Came in with my girlfriend, stood at the front for a while thinking the man in front of us was checking in, turns out he was the manager with his back to the door and guests while scrolling on online. Already I was shocked, not only did he have his back to us he NEVER TURNED AROUND OR SAID HELLO!!!! we had to move around him to speak to the host. The food was good but irritating how they push the wine on you. We weren't given a food menu ONLY wine by the bottle until the server got to us. IM IN AA this is beyond rude......... NOW IMAGINE ........ YOU PAID $200 for a good hamburger!

Ordered eggs Benedict which arrived with cold Hollandaise sauce. When I sent the sauce back I was told that the kitchen claimed the sauce could not be heated, which is not true. I have to imagine that at the beginning of the Brunch service, they must be awash in hollandaise. Can’t imagine why I couldn’t get warm sauce.

The burger that you see in the picture online doesn’t exist in the menu. I asked the waitress and she said that she had never seen that hamburger. Burgers are good like anywhere else, but more expensive. You pay extra for fries also. Same quality. Servers are ok, there is a manager that walks around talking to women at the bar and keeps you waiting before taking you to the table. In conclusion I would go to any other place if I want a hamburger and save a lot of money!

I really like how this place gives off a fancy yet warm atmosphere. I actually stopped here to use the restroom but I feel bad because a place like this doesn't deserve to be short-changed like that. Jasmine is pretty chill as I can tell on how attentive she is at her work. Give her a promotion, I say. Anyway, their food is pretty good because I ordered some fries as my way of saying thanks. I do feel a positive aura from the staff and just by looking around, the place is well-cared for and very clean. I'm glad I stumbled in here and it did gave me a new recommendation for anyone who just wants to have a nice time in the night.

Burger was good but not great and they try to be too upscale with their portions. The burger is small, especially for a"burger" restaurant and they cut it in half. Why? Why would they do that? It's a small burger?!? And there was one ketchup for an order with a burger and 2 fries. We needed 3 more by the end of the meal. What's with the ketchup shortage?

Great restaurant! The food is delicious, especially the burgers. I tried both the meat and the veggie burger. They really know how to make them. I have also tried heir brunch menu. The atmosphere of the place is candlelit, romantic type. Would be great for anniversaries or dates. The steak was great, delicious and juicy. I also got the meatballs, they were good. This is only concerning the food. It's okay. Which is a problem, because it's very overpriced for the taste. Single burger for $19 with no sides, and not particularly filling. Skip food if you can when you come here. Kind of sad considering Burger is in their name.

Great lunch! Had a simple salad with baby lettuce (thankfully, scared to eat romaine these days) and shared tater tots. Tots had rosemary seasoning...SO TASTY! Had unusual beer on tap selection...enjoyed trying beers you dont find everywhere. Bartender was very friendly, great service from everyone. Reasonably priced for the high quality of food.

Went to this place on the first night of my visit to NY. I messed up the reservation but the waitress managed to get us a table anyway even though it was a packed friday evening. I ordered their "famous" hamburger and some fries. I don't know if my expectations were too high but I didn't think it was worth the hype. Sure it was a good and well prepared burger but if it's so famous then I expect something extraordinary. It didn't deliver all the way.

Rude waitress, she sat us down and we never saw her again. We finally got another waitress to help (she was nice) but the lady manager was standing right there and she never acted like she noticed. Maybe you get so many customers you don't care about customer service? I understand NYC is a big place. Burger was so so (not because of the waitress, but because it was just okay).

Chef Capon continues to always impress me with his restaurants. Burger and Barrel is a great spot for locals and tourists alike, had a friend in town and he was raving about it afterwards. I recently visited the spot for the 4th or 5th time and this was the best. Started with the Butter Lettuce Salad before getting into the heavenly BMC Burger. Salad went was great as an opening, all the ingredients were very fresh and the dressing was a superb pairing. My wife ordered the Chicken Lollipops (Split order of asian and buffalo style), I am impartial to buffalo, they are one bitters that are succulent. On to the main course: The BMC Burger was utterly orgasmic, the first bite felt like butter, it literally melted in my mouth. The 40 day dry aged beef used made my night. The additional grilled onions and the raclette (melting cheese) cheese made the burger out of the world. I was raving about it all night and I am burger aficionado. I did miss out on the onion rings this time, but fear not I will be back again. Oh and don't forget to get the warm chocolate chip cookie over ice cream. I don't know how Josh did it, but it was my favorite cookie over ice cream to date. Keep up the good work my friend.

Popped in here for lunch as my friend and I were hungry and we had the burger. Was pretty disappointed by it. The over cooked it and it ruined the taste of the burger, in my opinion. I will add, however, that my friend was actually pleased with it. So there's still hope. In addition, it being $20 is severely overpriced and not worth 20 on any day of the week.
