Pretty good! I highly recommend the bowls, the un-chicken sandwich nut sister had didn't look amazing, but she enjoyed it. Though, she wasn't impressed with the focaccia bread, which she expected to be of higher quality. The fries were crispy and delicious. I say, definitely try a bowl!
English man in New York! Great place. We came as a family and enjoyed the food and drink that we had it is a well designed place and a good setting to enjoy with family and friends. Would recommend a visit. If you not sure what to order ask the staff they are helpful in recommending what is great right now.
Food was really good, fresh, vegan, quick, decent price. But very limited seating and it was freezing.
The food was
Love this vegan place! I had bbq jackfruit and it was great!
Vegan food can taste good! The cauliflower wings are to die for, same with the fries.
This is heaven if your are vegan. Can recommend the skyscraper: a perfect sandwich burger with super taste and consistency. Great stuff. The women before me in the line was unable to make any decision for ten minutes but the girl behind the counter kept very friendly and helpfully. A must visit if you're nearby.
This place is a dream for vegans with food allergies! It's been in existence for several years, 100% vegan and 100% kosher, they have a well-worn ingredient list right at the register if you have any kind of food allergies you can ask them. They don't allow substitutions, but you can leave things off. They have a full menu including bowls, sandwiches, Burgers, wraps, and sides which include fries and buffalo cauliflower bites. The prices aren't super outrageous for what it is but keep in mind where it is and an entree will cost you anywhere from 12 to $15. They also have great drink choices including kombucha, coconut water and juice. They also have to go items so you can just Grab & Go. Great for healthy food in a hurry!
A good selection of good kosher, vegan, organic foods. Not an easy task. Word of caution, they offer gluten free "lite". Meaning sine of their products are gluten free, but there may be cross contamination. I don't see that as a flaw other than perhaps better signage. Otherwise, tasty selections, great and friendly staff. Try the shakes and smoothies!
Food was meh and prices were high, seitan was chewy and unpleasant, would not return.
Incredible vegan food in Hell's Kitchen! I had the Blossom Bean Burger. Wow, the flavor of the black beans is bountiful and the guacamole is a perfect compliment! Picked up some Kale chips for snacking later too.
Food was excellent. My first vegan restaurant experience. Will be back soon for sure!
Probably their best location. The cauliflower and seitan were super fresh, not soggy
Th breakfast sandwich was lacking the vegan cheese and bacon - utterly unimpressive - the melt was decent but not anything to get me to go back - does not even come close to living up to the great Blossom name - next time in the area for a place like this I would sooner go to VLife or Cinnamon Snail.
Quality has declined. Menu becoming more limited. As of January 1, 2018, no longer serving shakes or smoothies
Great food. Get the Cauliflower bites
So far I've had the seitan philly cheese steak and the un-chicken avacado griller, and the nacho fries. All have been amazing! They also have pretty good cookies. We come here every time we come into NYC. This location is quicker than the 23rd street location.
Very tasty and wholesome food at a decent price. I grabbed the burrito with Avocado & Sautéed tempeh/veggies and was very satisfied. I would recommend this for a healthy take away spot
I love this place! It’s so cozy and the staff memebers are super nice and helpful! I recommend this place to friends and family all the time. The menu is wonderful and the food is even better! I can’t get enough and I will be returning.
Got the Midtown Melt last night. Heard great things...the guy overmicrowaved the seitan though...Some parts were awesome, so I could see how it could have been amazing. But I was disappointed. A few bites were actually inedible. Had to spit it out. Couldn't chew it. The sauce and the bread and the avocado were perfect. Just got unlucky with the guy preparing it. Place is not cheap, so was a bit bummed.
There was a misunderstanding between the cashier and I regarding my order. I wanted gluten free and asked before to clarify. I don't know if she didn't hear me well, but I thought she understood. I still had doubts, so I asked again as she gave me my order. THEN she heard me well. Said it ALL had gluten. Also, the cashier said she couldn't take the untouched meal back and provide me another one. Most establishments would take it back. First one I see that won't change someone's wrong order. It wasn't like I demanded to keep the wrong order and get an extra one.
Delicious, quick, relatively inexpensive goodness. Whether you're vegan or not, (like me) you will love this place.
The food here ranges from okay to good but almost everything I’ve tried has made me feel kind of gross and lethargic. Yeah, it’s vegan, but it’s still fast food. On a good note though, the service really is fast! I appreciated that when I worked down the street and only had a 30min lunch break. And the workers here were always friendly!
Amazing vegan food.
Party in my palate is what comes to mind when I are at Blossom! Everything was so tasty, healthy and guilt free! I am eager to get back to one of their locations soon.
Blah is the best way to describe this. It was ok and when you start eating (If you're as hungry as we were after our international flight) you think it's good but then a few bites in you realise how oily and strong it all is and it's not actually very nice. The woman serving us was a icy and disinterested and we thought she was joking when she said they don't accept cash, only card (which sucks if you're from abroad as you get charged to use your card). The area is a bit uncomfortable and while sitting there two people came in at different times who were clearly suffering some kind of psychosis. Not the fault of the place we were in but they chose the location and it's run down exterior...and interior for that matter...doesn't exactly exude 'this is a good safe place.' I wish we hadn't bothered with Blossom du Jour but it was our first night in New York and we wanted vegan food. We wouldn't and didn't go there again and discovered some MUCH better vegan places (some not too far away). Do you and your stomach a favour and don't bother with this place. Go somewhere better.
Great little place for breakfast or lunch. Great vegan food and quick service. :)
Love this place! Have been going for years, it's nice to have a spot in Hell's Kitchen to be able to quickly grab a healthy bite
Got the philly cheese steak cause other people recommended it. What a bummer. Hardly anything in the roll What a waste
Delicious vegan food.
tasty and fast vegan food at fair price in the city
Surprisingly yummy. Will definitely head back
Kept calling they would pick up then hang up. Not cool.
Hands down the best Vegan burger I have ever had. Mac and cheese was good also, friendly helpful staff and fast efficient service. Would strongly recommend!
Vegan friends loved it, but I thought their food tasted kind of weird. I don't remember all of what they ordered, but I think they got mac and cheese.
That skyscraper burger is amazing! So are the onion rings and the buffalo cauliflower bites. Yummmmm
Fast, delicious, vegan food.
Tried almost everything on the menu and I'm addicted! Delicious healthy food to fuel you as you explore the city. Ive made trips to the city just to eat here. Even if you're not a vegetarian you won't be disappointed!
Stale cookies are the norm, along with cold seitan and soggy bread. Do they even care anymore?
Very nice vegan place. Quite small to eat in, but we had a delicious dinner!
This used to be one of my favorite places, but they dramatically changed the menu. They took all their soy away, the skyscraper burger used to be one of the best in the city. Now it's bean based and is awful. What a shame.
Small place with limited seating, great food
Perfect place to eat or take away if you are on the go. Nice pople and great food!
It was ok......didn't really like their seitan philly cheese steak.
Food was delicious, hot and filling
Quick and delicious! Small area to eat at but not for large parties.
Blossom du Jour has the best sandwiches! Their cupcakes are great too! Love this place!
I'm not vegan but I had the cookie dough shake and the Philly cheese steak and was blown away. It really is tasty and worth checking out. Would be even better if they had a bathroom and more seating.
Perfect for vegan food on the go! Blossom du Jour has creative vegan replacements for standard fast food options, such as Buffalo cauliflower wings, a BBQ Jackfruit sandwich, tofu scrambled "eggs", and burgers made from beans, quinoa or beets. The salads and wraps are all the perfect guilt-free fast food options. They even have a fridge with some prepackaged grab-and-go meals. If you have a sweet tooth, try a milkshake. The cookie dough milkshake is to die for. They also offer packaged vegan baked goods including cookies and brownies. The only disappointment was the Mac and cheese, it was pretty bland so I won't be getting that again.
So so good.
Mac and jack was out of site! Kales spinach wrap delicious
Tasty vegan fast food...also, cute dog paintings on the wall are a plus :)
100% vegan and 100% delicious
Blossom du jour is a reaally good fast food vegan spot. i love their smoky bacon wrap and their bowls . the cookies come from clementine’s bakery (another really cool vegan place in brooklyn). whats more? i love the activist mindset that the brand has (look up on their website!)
The food and the service are great.
Love it
they have a contamination of mice and cockroaches
I must've been a passersby with my phone on!
Food was good. Service was acceptable. The location was dark and dingy.
I was expecting something better considering I've been to two different blossom locations in the city and thought it'd be slightly similar. Tried their breakfast bowl with kale, tempeh bacon, and sweet potatoes. Not bad. Their cookies are from this vegan bakery in bed Stuy. I wasn't really wowed by the experience. It wasn't bad and it wasn't spectacular either. I've had better breakfast bowls. It was just okay.
They don’t bake in house anymore and carry Clementine Baked goods. This wouldn’t be a problem if their inventory was fresh. Stale cookies and freezer tasting food that’s 5-7 day old, plus the non-Chalant attitude of their staff (Alexander) makes this place a no-go. The blossom du jour part of the franchise is obviously falling apart.
OMG delicious. I was so hungry and then I found bthis place.
Food was greesy and not tasty. Fast food can be greesy (obviously also vegan), but the prices aren't fast food like. They need to update the price list online.
When they messed up my order a team member gladly replaced it with a whole new item plus an added ingredient and they let me keep the messed up order! I didn't even ask for them to replace it! Talk about amazing service. Thank you, btw.
the best vegan burger I have ever had. period. this place is the bomb. seating is limited and don't accept cash which is odd but the food is unreal !
Wonderful! Girlfriend and I both had Skyscraper Burgers and we shared the cauliflower bites. She's vegan and I'm not but we were both extremely impressed with the speed and quality of the food. Relatively affordable for purely vegan eats and you can be in and out in a handful of minutes.
My wife and our friends happened to walk by this place when we were making our way to the Megabus spot. We eat a plant based diet and our friends mostly do. You always have to be careful at a vegan restaurant because they aren't always completely healthy - they might still cook with lots of oil and use processed foods because their first priority isn't health but using non-animal based products. We avoid those items whenever possible. Nonetheless, we were able to find some good menu items. My wife and I split a kale/sweet potato wrap. We wish it didn't have olive oil but other than that it was excellent. The tahini dressing was not overpowering, the kale was lovely, and the sweet potato was amazing. It was a great light lunch. The inside is tight, with only a few stools for counter seating. But, I imagine most people take their food to go. We'll definitely eat at a Blossom du Jour again if we pass one and need a light, (almost completely) healthy meal.
Had the burger and it was awesome. Love bean burgers and it was all animal style with an onion ring to boot. Prefer thicker / different style fries, but employees were nice and enjoyed my meal.
Really like their vegan philly steak! If you are a spice fanatic, you will find their food on the bland side; however, they do carry mild hot sauce that will add the spice flavor to your food.
AMAZING. I highly recommend the midtown melt, I've had it so many times and it never fails to impress. The menu is definitely pricey, and I wish their bowls were cheaper, but for a nice quick vegan lunch every once in a while it's absolutely worth it.
Vegan friendly and friendly
Perfect vegan burger!!
I had the skyscraper burger with fries. So flavorful! Quick service. Seating was tricky bc the place is so small.
Delicious philly. Very messy but worth it.
I was looking to try some vegan food near Times Square and, this restaurant came up. This is a small place that cannot hold large groups. They have very limited seating. Their orders are mostly takeouts. I was told that they don't accept cash and I didn't have a credit card. I ended up placing my order through GrubHub and paying more using PayPal. My order was for a Burrito Grande Wrap. It was not what I had expected but, it tasted fine. Their service was quick. I hope I get to try their skyscraper burger in the future.
The food tasted good!
Very delicious healthy but also comfort vegan good. Prices very reasonable.
I am on holiday and when I found blossom du jour I have been there every single day since! Amazing food! Great friendly service, fast and I just LOVE the menu. Wish this would come to my home town.
Quick and delicious. Love love the onion rings!
Great vegan food at this location! Very friendly employees, clean restaurant
Amazing place!! Very small, very cool vegan takeaway, they offer a good variety of vegan bowls, sandwiches and burgers. The food is absolutely delicious, which justifies the little higher prices. Definitive recommendation!!!
Best vegan burger ever! (As if there were any other kind
Super delicious and great staff!
Got my order fast & love that the full menu, including breakfast sandwich, is available all day. Loved the unchicken avocado pesto. Great bowl options.
It’s a female there with a long ponytail that is rude to her workers
Fantastic place to get vegan food. I had a lemon & rosemary faux-chicken sandwich with avocado and pesto and it was amazing. Really refreshing and delicious smoothies too!
Really GREAT place! Best Vegan food in NYC.. Last time I left a review saying that they have great food, but so uncomfortable chairs to sit on. Then went there after couple weeks and saw that they replaced all the old chairs with better ones :). That was amazing - another proof that they care about customers. So I definitely recommend it ;)
They have vegan pulled pork!
Tasty, fresh food. Friendly staff. The cafe, however, needs to be scrubbed clean. The sidewalk outside, the cafe windows and floor are filthy. Makes you wonder about the hygiene in the kitchen.
Customer service was awesome. The young in the evening was the best. Food was on point. Will go back again.
One of the best restaurants in New York: they go as a fast food joint but some dishes are quite high-end restaurant worthy. Gotta try it even if you’re not vegan! We tried their burritos, bowls, buffalo cauliflower, and nacho-fries: delicious!!! I wish you had desserts as well
Delicious vegan food and very friendly staff. No wait at all.
I really enjoyed eating here! If you decide to eat in, there is only a bar, but you can also ask for delivery through Uber eats or pick up order. I had the skyscraper burger and I just loved it! The Mac & cheese and the fries were also great! Definitely a place to eat more than once :)
The most amazing vegan fast food! I had the skyscraper burger for 10$, which is a reasonable price. The food didn't taste like the typical healthy vegan food, but even managed to fulfill my cravings for fastfood without being to fatty. Definitely going there again!
If you're a vegan and miss corn dogs try the midtown melt. Everything I've had here is delicious. The staff is chill too.

Awesome vegan spot. Highly recommend their shakes!
Had the Midtown MELT. What a treat, I inhaled it in minutes. SO filling and its all Vegan. Can't wait to be back.
Good vegan "egg and cheese" wrap. Disappointed that they don't have any of their shakes anymore.
First New York dining experience, and it was great!
Amazing food for vegans! I had the Philly cheese steak, tastes like the real thing in a good way!
Great grab and go vegan food. Try the Butterfinger shake, it's amazing!
Midtown Melt was awesome! Ordered that with buffalo bites and a cookie dough shake and shared with my wife. Very good food and friendly staff.
Great burger and breakfast wrap!!! Loved it <3 The place is pretty small and not too much place to sit down.
My friends and I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower bites, Skyscraper burger and Philly cheese steak. Overall, the food is really good - full of flavor. The cauliflower was spicy and the breading was really tasty, we didn't care that it was cauliflower inside. The caeser sauce was really tasty though a little salty. Philly cheese steak was a yummy sandwich overall though I could taste the nooch (no complaint there). Our favorite was the Skyscraper burger which I still think of almost 2 weeks after eating there. It has a smashed black bean patty inside and lotsa different fillings. Mildly smoky and just a great balance of all the different flavors inside. My only gripe was that the food for some reason made both of us very thirsty afterward. Not sure if it was the amount of salt on the fries (or msg?)
Best vegan food I’ve had
Sends black employees home midshift for wearing their natural hair. Blatant discrimination
Good flavors
Looks can be deceiving and you may feel that you're not getting your money's worth however I was stuffed after eating 3 of the 4 pieces of the quesadilla. I also had a bite of the bbq un-chicken and it tasted great. Marinated kale, quinoa and un-chicken tenders all had flavor and tasted great. Overall unexpected flavor, moderately priced and filling. Not much seating inside and the drinks are expensive.
Menu looked grreat. The food was fair. The place is a little hole in the wall. Defentily not worth a $10 uber ride. I can belive this place is rated 4 stars.
The food was good but it didn’t leave that “I ate good healthy vegan food” feeling. It was more like I had good fast food. I had the skyscraper burger and the cauliflower bites. The burger was massive (it has pickles, I don’t like pickles). The burger has a black bean patty, realistic cheese and a huge onion ring. The cauliflower bites are a little on the bland side, fried and served very oily (I prefer baked) with a side of ranch dip. I will probably order a healthier option next time. Maybe a salad or something. Also, it was very expensive. $17 for the burger and cauliflower bites.
Superb vegan food - don't let the casual, low - key venue fool you
Nice for a quick bite. I've tried the mac n cheese and mac n jack, and I prefer the latter, although I don't think either really tastes like mac n cheese -- it's good, but somewhat too sweet to be considered mac n cheese. The chocolate chip cookie is huge and was delicious. The egg English muffin sandwich was pretty good. The staff was very kind and patient, but somewhat slow, which I found surprising given that it comes across like a "stop n go" sort of place. Not my favorite vegan place in NYC so far (food was just alright), but might stop by again if I wanted something grab n go. The reason for the 3 stars is that I've had better vegan food in NYC (Candle Cafe is my gold standard so far).
During a trip to New York City, I had food from Blossom du Jour delivered to my hotel room every night of my stay. So delicious and convenient! I was very happy with the available selections and the quality of the food for the price. It was so easy to order online, too! A can’t miss for vegans!
My group had 3 different items and each was e very different and each delish!
This place is hit or miss. Their bowls are great but can vary in taste quality depending on what you get. Also, the appetizers are trying a bit too hard at times. The Chicken Bits are sour and I could not eat them - apparently they are supposed to taste like this, I am not sure why, but I also have never eaten chicken dishes before, so maybe it is a taste I never acquired. The reason why I love this place is for their MIDTOWN MELT. You MUST not judge Blossom du Jour before trying the midtown melt :)
Fast vegan food to go (or to eat at the small counter). I love the "chicken" avocado sandwich. There are a series of these across the city and a fancier restaurant as well. Really solid vegan food.
One of the best vegan places I have been to, the food is great, and really fast service.
Good food, Great location
Awesome vegan food. Had the breakfast bowl and it was delicious.
Incredible food! We loved the unchicken avocado griller. If you like pesto, get this! Breakfast scramble wrap was also good, and the onion rings and califlower bites were amazing! We also got the sloppy Jack and the midtown melt which were less impressive. It was hard to choose from such a tasty menu. Will have to come back to try the Butterfinger shake!
Solid. I keep getting the protein bowl, but I think the breakfast soul is more flavorful.
Always great food. My philly cheese fries needed to be centr directly to my veins lol
Great eats. Fast service. Love it.
Great location for great vegetarian / vegan food! The Karmic Kale Wrap is great and the Midtown Melt is great too among many others!
Leaves much to be desired. I found it bland, tasteless. There are no washrooms, seating area is terrible. No tables. It's like vegan food from 90s, not good.
Really good vegan fast food. The Skyscraper Burger was delicious!
Buffalo cauliflower was on the bland side, needs more spice. The Philly was so so as well, but I do rate all vegan Philly's against Blackbirds. The protein bowl was really great though. Looking forward to trying other items off their menu.
