REVIEWS OF Bhatti Indian Grill IN New York

Nice place

Solomon Yakubov

In an area heavily influenced by South-East Asian cuisine, this restaurant is a MUST. I've been going here for years for their amazingly affordable lunch deal. In this setting, you simply sit down and endless food is brought to your table from the kitchen. Beware, if you don't get there by 11:50am you will be stuck in a queue.

Travis Fodor

Very very good food. We had a huge spread of plates (veggie and meat) and everything was great. Highly recommended!

Conor Floyd

This spot always delivers. They serve awesome food for fair rates, there are no long waits even when they are full.

Gaurav Thakkar

Excellent food taste and quality. Could be 5-star if they improve the service. Didn't find welcoming or happy serving the customers. That is one area they can improve upon. Rest all was perfect. Though it is little pricey considering NY Location.

John Moore

Very poor service. Ordered online, after two hours called and was told order in works. Women on phone was rude and insulting. Do not order from this restaurant.

Russell Townshend

Decent Indian food, very generous servings and nice people. The standout dishes were the red kidney bean curry, the gobi (cauliflower) and the goat curry. Our son loved the chicken tikka masala and the saag.

pappil00

The kebab is the main attraction. One time, i got very good service, good food and was satisfied. The second time, poor food, poor service when ang in with family. YMMV. The place has potential, but not really living up to its standard thes days

YNWA AIY

One of the best Indian food in NYC. You must try if you're Indian food craver! I was here since college time, now it's been 7 years, the taste never changed. I would say: fantastic. Service is as great as always. Five stars well deserved ! Bhatti : Keep up the work, keep rockin !

kushal mistri

The best thing is dum murgh biryaani. It was by far the best biryaani I have ever had.

Andrey Simonyan

Horrible wait time and food is actually mediocre. Dishonest staff. Doesn't seem to be worth the ratings.

Aenne Brielmann

A bit of a random place with gold decor halfway posh but also very simplistic, house music playing in the background... I don’t know what they want you to believe their style is. The vegetarian eggplant dish was delicious, the meat was very mediocre. The rice was ok if you don’t mind it butter tossed. There’s better Indian food for a smaller price tag around in this neighborhood.

Sarma Tekumalla

Good food. Tiny space. Moderately expensive

Elizabeth Janes

Very delicious food. Every bite tells a story with layers of spices and savory delights. The dining room is small but candlelit, lending itself to a great date night location.

Vrk Km

The kebabs are simply enticing. The quality is well maintained. Bit on the expensive side

mohan vijay

Love it.. love the flavour

Betty Smith

Food was good, but the seating spaces are too tight…

Nate Ewald

Great food! So awesome that these guys are open late, and the food was still awesome! Would definitely come back here.

rajkumar PARDASANI

Sit down buffet. Unlimited food. Fantastic service. A must visit. must have the lunch sit down buffet.

Susan Pain

Excellent food, great value

I came w/ my friend for lunch who had been here before. Things have changed, the lunch special now is more like a buffet served at your table. They give you the specials of the day, vegetarian or not and no other choices are given. Overall the taste of all the dishes that we've tried were good. And when we were done we asked if we could take the leftovers but were told " sorry sir, absolutely not.". so when the table was being cleared, the empty dishes were stacked on top of each other and the dishes that had food left were handled separately. Leading me to believe that either the food is being wasted and thrown out or it's being recycled. Either option is unacceptable. Either it's a buffet or it's just a lunch special. Neither of us will be doing that again and only returning to order from the full menu.

Mahathi Addanki

We went there for dinner while visiting newyork city. Order dal and methi malai mutter and naan. Quality, quantity and taste were good.

Lewis Ayers

The side and main dishes were excellent. Buffet lunch but brought to your table by the wait staff.

jaya agarwal

Noisiest place ever! I liked the decor etc and food was great too but it was so super noisy ( no fault of the restaurant though) that we couldn't even hear our server! Did not click any photos as I just wanted to quickly finish food and get out of there!

Madhuri Jadhav

An amazing place for Indian food, cooked closest to being as good as having it back in India. The rotis, the biryani and chicken curry was tasty and serving size was also pretty big. Until now whenever I have visited an Indian restaurant abroad, never loved the flavours as it felt it was frozen and reheated and made from ready to eat packets. But this restaurant is a must visit when one is in New York. I deducted one star coz of the staff's attitude. We entered at 4.50pm and the restaurant was to open at 5pm. But he didn't allow us to sit and wait until they opened although there was a table of two sitting who were finishing their food. Being an Indian restaurant the staff should have known the Indian culture and at least welcomed us and allowed to be seated. A must visit place for finger licking Indian food.

Ami Patel

Anjeer kofta is a must try for vegetarians

Anupam Ashish

Tandoori chicken and biryani were good. Service alright

Colin Ransdell

Amazing vegetarian food. Many choices. Helpful friendly staff. Would go back anytime.

Amit Kapoor

The qty is very poor as per price, less space, crowded. Slow service

Tim Hickey

They actually know how to make chicken tikka masala extra spicy. One of my favorites in nyc

chandan rana

One of t best place for Indian food lovers

parth soni

Good Indian food, especially their kebabs and veg platter

Vaibhav Goswami

This place was a surprise, the food was not your run off the mill Indian food. The dishes are the same, but you can tell it was made fresh to order. Try your typical north Indian food here and you will be surprised how it tastes fresh compared to your other generic Indian joints.

Rishi Monga

Great food and very courteous staff ......best of the lot in the vicinity

Ankit Thakur

Worst food experience in new york city , Restaurant looks cool from outside only. Food was pathetic,Would rather love to eat at street side.

Valerie K

Good food

Malisha Shah

I stumbled here looking for an Indian restaurant and was so glad I did. The food was amazing. Entrees had a nice color and texture to it, and the spice level was perfect for me.

Neha Kushwaha

Food was not great for the price and hype

Mike Anick

Very rude

Ajay Ojha

Their lunch buffet is so satisfying. It's filled with a lot of North Indian dishes and thick gravy items. The buffet is brought to your table and you don't have to go to the buffet area. The servers are very quick. They bring stuff based on your preferences but if you have no preference they will bring everything. The food quality is good. They also have an office box which is a tale out box with a good portion for lunch. You may want to reach there before 12 because it gets very crowded and you may have to wait outside the restaurant.

Edward Delfino

Very nicely decorated Indian restaurant with good service, even during the busy lunch hour. Like most Indian restaurants in the neighborhood, they have very reasonably priced lunch specials, but even if you order off the regular menu, you are not going to go broke eating here. The food was very good and the portions were adequate for the price. The spice in the lamb garam masala did not taste like I am used to, but not in a bad way (it’s nice to see a different interpretation now and then). I was only disappointed because they didn’t have samosas on the menu—an Indian meal isn’t complete if I don’t get to eat a samosa.

vinay galani

Best indian food ever

Minhazul Matin

The food was amazing there. Tried the kalmi kabab I hope it's called and some chicken biriyani. Service was even better. Will definitely go back again. Highly recommended!!

Maima Postma

Tastes good. When it says spicy on the card it is really spicy. We had some normal dishes and one of them already tasted quite spicy. It is really good Indian food but it's a bit expensive, though totally worth your money.

Manor House Cellar

Customer service sucks, I ordered chicken biryani told them very clearly i want very mild. its so spicy i cant eat, I don't think so they understand customer requirement or else they don't care about customer very time we have problem with this restaurant, Sometimes they forget to send utilities with delivery. BY the way the delivery was taken by women.I don't like to give one star as well but i can't post the review

Andrew Armani

Excellent service, delicious food. The host seated us and had lunch on the table in a matter of minutes.

Swati Chaturvedi

Worst ever Indian food eaten. They serve the sweetest paneer tikka masala with the burnt lachcha parathas. I could taste only taste these, didn’t wanted to spoil my money, time and mood more. When asked why is this sweet, the owner replied this is what chef prepares

Andreas Johansson

Small restaurant with great indian food. Just enough spicy for an european.

Alan Owen

Food was lovely. The restaurant was small and a little bit dark and noisy. But overall very good.

John Dominguez

Went for the lunch special, amazing amount of appetizers and mains for the price. Know that it's a set menu, however, but I urge you to trust the establishment. My only complaint is that the dishes seem to be adjusted for American tastes and don't have all the spices I would normally expect. Don't get me wrong though, excellent place for lunch.

Payas Shah

Place was decent, we ordered Malai Kofta and disaster was it had Kesar in it. I am not sure which part of India would put Kesar in Malai Kofta tasted like Kesar Basudi. Nothing really special but yea they served Papad for free lol

Harsweet

Food is good. Restaurant is very small and congested. Staff is kinda rude and I felt like they don't care if you ask them to bring another spoon or plate. For their hospitality, -2 stars. For their food I could have given 4 as food is good :) but overall 3star restaurant.

Aditya Chirimar

The best value for money Indian restaurant (medium/upper scale) in NYC.

Surya Prasad

It's kind of FISH MARKET (people know what I mean). Food is good!!! No doubt about it!!! My GOD... the ambience??? It's a very very tiny place... people talk a lot... you can't bear.... the restaurant guys must look for sound proof equipment similar to movie theaters...

Rickin Patel

Your delivery service is terrible!!! Sort it out ffs!! I’ve ordered multiple times and get the food 90+ minutes later when I live 5 minutes away!

meera mehta

Authentic delicious Indian cuisine food!! Loved everything we tried here and the service was really quick.

Nabil C

Amazing 3 course lunch for a unbeatable price of $13

Candice Mostisser

The food and service seemed great. The entire evening and morning spent dealing with horrific food poisoning was not. In two and a half years of living in NYC, eating here marks the first time I've had to deal with such intense food - related illness. Save your stomachs and go elsewhere.

D M

Don't get me wrong; the place is beautiful inside but I came home vomiting & having bowel movements from the food. I think the prep was not clean. Ive eaten indian food before & never had food poisoning until this

ashish yerunkar

Very nice food quality and yummy taste. Superb mix of all indian spices and amazing food varieties. Superliked the delicious food.

sujay kumar

Love it always, very nice choice of gravy both for veggies and non-veg folks. Wonderful experience.

C. Foo

Bhatti has, hands down, some of the best Indian food in Murray Hill. Lunch special during the week is all-you-eat table service, so don't be shy to ask for more of something that you enjoyed (as long as you plan to eat all of it). They also have a vegetarian option. Small dessert is included at end. Dinner/post-lunch menu is significantly more expensive ($$$$ for dinner vs $$ for lunch). Customer service is excellent. Note that space is limited (no strollers or large items allowed inside), and during the lunch rush there can be a wait if you get there 15 mins past opening.

sumit rekhi

Any time good indian food .good lunch buffet

Chirag Sachar

Quality traditional food, it's BYOB but only wine

魯山人Nobu

I like the taste. Unfortunately, they had run out of Kingfisher when I visited. However, foods are great and I would like to visit again.

Pramodkumar Sahu

They serve buffet on table, yummy food. Small place. Very economical. Value for money.

Ehsanullah Wedee

My Pakistani friend recommended this to me. Definitely try their lunch special. When dining in, I can tell the chef put a lot of love into his work. Wait staff was attentive, everybody was friendly and the place was clean.

Bilal Khan

The lunch special buffet is one of the best Indian lunch you can have in NYC. The selection and quantity of food served is truly unmatched for the price. Specially the Bhatti Da Murgh kabab is truly mind blowing. Reminds one of Lucknow! 5 star experience. Must go!

Gaurav Khatavkar

Love the achari gobi aaloo and veg platter here!!

Sonam Tshering

This place has to offer one of the best Indian food in Lexington Avenue however I personally think it’s little overly priced. They are specialized in grilled dishes, unfortunately I tried something simple as it was my first time here and I was hungry and didn’t want to take the risk. Their food was dangerously delicious, full of aroma especially the chicken tikamasala and chicken briyani is uniquely delicious, flavored with varieties of herbs and spices. Very nice and cozy place. Not recommended for wheelchairs particularly for the restroom. They have OpenTable if you want to reserve a table. Do not be alarmed by their giant male server, they are very sweet and nice. I’ll definitely come back to try more food, GRILLED food!

Aditya Salunke

I have been eating here for quite sometime. This place is usually always crowded especially in the evenings so it is highly recommended to call in before hand and get a reservation. The service is good and food is delicious.

Anthony Arnold

We LOVE getting take-out here! We've dined in a few times and enjoyed it as well. They have arguably the best, most affordable butter chicken! Their dal makhni is amazing and creamy!

karthika priyadarshini

Have been here 4 times, and always had a good experience. The food is delicious, the starters are my favorite. I am a vegetarian. The place is toddler friendly. The service is good. The only downside is it can be busy as there is a limited seating capacity. Call and reserve to avoid disappointment.

Rich Chaudhary

Excellent food and nice atmosphere. Restaurant is BYO also. Particularly enjoyed the lamb gulauti kebab and the chicken korma. Bhatti does a good job of replicating the North Indian and Mughal-inspired food found in restaurants in India. Would recommend!

John Morris

Great food and atmosphere.

Niamh Parsley

Loved the chicken skewers and saag paneer.

G GG

Lamb was surprisingly good

Pankaj Pandey

If you want to try north Indian delicious food at New York mid town, this is the place for you. Optimum intensity of Indian spices for Indian food lovers. We tried couple of non-veg and one vegetarian dish (Achari Gobhi), all were super delicious.

RTClass

Great lunch special.... You need not order anything else for lunch

Divyang Shah

Good Indian place. Love the spread. Little crammed and crowded but I they cannot do anything about it. Decent taste of all the varieties. Must taste their chaat options.. Loved the bhel today.

Alok Kumar

Compact place but food is amazing. Paneer items are great.

prachi bhamre

A very bad experience... poor hospitality..they serve papad as a complimentary which were raw not roasted properly... we ordered alu paratha which were also not cooked well... atlast we even found a sharp plastic piece in our vegetable curry, to which the response of owner was not very good...no apologies he just cut the amount of curry from our check.

Christine Liang

Good place for groups. Reservations are easy to made through Open Table and they will let you sit before your whole group arrives. Must get their mango lassi and garlic naan, you won't regret it.

Vaibhav Jain

Great food, better appetizers than entrees

Anh Bui Trong

Very delicous food and good price.

Soumyajit Laha

One of the good Indian restaurants in midtown Manhattan. Buffet is the best. Huge spread with tender and delicious chicken and meat items. Veg items are very good too.

Yalamanda K

Nice place, liked food

Rohan Patel

Great place and great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and we had a great time in the restaurant. First time there and they have made a great impression!

Jimesh Chauhan

I order Lamb Rogan Josh and they served me Goat Curry (their buffet item), the waiter and the chef lied and told me it’s Lamb Rogan Josh and I told them I have eaten there before and don’t fool me. They later apologized and made an excuse. But the fact remains that they tried to fool us.

Rohit Adukia

My favorite Indian restaurant in NYC. I go to Bhatti Indian Grill every time I go to NYC. I think they have the best Dal Makhni in the North America!

SURENDRA ANGADI

Good greeled items

Kristi Hadgigeorge

Chicken Tikka Masala was flavorful and spicy!

Varun Phanda

Great Taste and Value for money.

Sandeep Pathak

Good place for average India buffet

Allison & Simon

Amazing lunch and price. A rare NYC bargain.

Hamilton Colwell

Absolutely terrible service. From the attitude to it taking 35 minutes to get drinks which happened well after the food to the relentless push to try to get us to order more, this was the most pathetic service we have experienced in a while. Fortunately the last server to touch the table was very nice and tried to right the wrongs of first server. That stated the food was really good. Overpriced but quite good.

Patrick Warren

Quick service, attentive staff, nice food . Busy

Stephen Garriques

Amazing food and service, can't wait to come back. I highly recommend the lamb chops, they are delicious

Katarzyna H. Misiewicz

Honestly, I've been eating better Indian food, even in Poland ;) What I need to admit, that the staff is heplful and friendly, and the lunch set is big enough (too big even!) for 2 people (2xappetizer, main courses and sides, 2xdessert). See the picture attached (lunch set + 2xmango lassi = $39).

Yuvraj Rathod

Best food it’s really best for grill and Indian food best service heads off for chef excellent work on food

Milan Brych

Very tasty Indian meals for very good value.

Ashish Punia

This reminded of my hometown food in India - this shows how authentic the food is at this restaurant. Their Bhatti Daal (lentil) is a must try. In addition to great food, their service is excellent also. Plenty of options for vegetarians. Definitely one of my favorite Indian restaurant in Manhattan. Only critique is that their sofa/seating was clearly broken.

Debby Duckett

When you order make sure to tell the waiter the level of spiciness you want, they don't ask you. The food is flavorful, but they need to ask the customer what level of spice they want.

Anastasia Adams

Authentic Indian food. Best garlic naan in town. Great service, good prices

Milind Thosar

Great food (lunch). Very reasonably priced ($ 16 incl. tip)

Rahul Shome

tl;dr Rude treatment of waiting customers. Make sure to obtain a reservation if you think the food is worth it. Full disclosure, I did not get a chance to eat here, because my party never got seated. My review is a reflection of purely the treatment that seems to be meted out to waiting customers. Consider this review relevant if you do not have a reservation or consider this as a strong suggestion to get a reservation. I was part of a group of 3 who tried to get a table at around 840pm on a Thursday night. The place is very cosy with little or no space to wait. The reception desk is at the other end of the space from the door, so in order to get the attention of the staff you have to walk across the tables seated patrons. Upon requesting a table, I was asked tersely whether I have a reservation, to which I said no. The response came back as a curt "Please wait". While it is difficult to convince the reader of the tone of a person's voice but curt is the best way I can describe it. The reaction was weird but the implication seemed to be that they would attend to us shortly. The presence of a small empty table seemed to support this hypothesis. We decided to wait right outside the door because there was a group of 5 people with a reservation waiting all this while to get seated, and there wasn't really any more space to stand there. Meanwhile a couple with an infant had arrived and the gentleman came inside to inquire about seating. After about 5-10mins, once the larger group got seated we entered the restaurant to wait by the door. The same waiter who had spoken to me did a hand gesture to beckon the family standing outside. Since we were standing in front of the door, he had to go out of his way to ignore us in order to get the others inside. At this point (15+ mins) we left. It was not really worth the uncertain and rude wait. Directly addressing the proprietors of Bhatti, the problem with the entire scenario was this: - please do not make customers wait arbitrarily without giving them any timeline for how long the wait is. I would've much preferred a straight up no to this. - giving priority to a family with a kid is justified and up to the restaurant's discretion, but show some courtesy and acknowledgement to the people being skipped. - although this is highly subjective, it would be much more enjoyable an experience, regardless of whether a person gives your establishment her business, if the staff was more polite and courteous. A smile never hurts.

Vance Vagell

AWFUL service. Lost our order slip, served all other tables, and didn't catch the mix-up for an hour (ignored us). Good food, though they also served some wrong dishes.

shashank pandey

Overall great place to dine, food quality is really good!

Rachael Whiting

Best indian food I have ever had. And staff was so sweet. My favourite was the cauliflower dish.

Sameer Dogra

Great Indian food on Lexinton. Exceptional service

Ravi Tej Ambati

Nice food in terms of quality and quantity. Service could be a little better. We had to ask for napkins and there were no tissues either on our table.

Mantek Singh

I thought this was a good restaurant. But nothing special about the food here. The people working here are so rude, and act like they are doing us a favor. There are numerous Indian places near by which serve better food both in quality and quantity. I will not recommend this place.

Chan Woo Park

Their lunch special was great. All you can eat and the quality was really good.

Brian Santini

The buttet chicken with garlic bread is so delicious!!! I recommend it.

Fabio Pellim

Excelent food, a plate can easily serve two with moderate appetite. I had a delicious lamb curry, Basmati rice and Garlic Naan very well prepared. good price.

Soumyajit Roy

We ordered mixed kebab platter. It tasted nice and the meat was marinaded nicely and tender. However the portion was too less considering 22 usd price point. Literally it had 6 pieces only. Additionally we had naan and rogan josh. Rogan josh well cooked but unusually sweet in taste.

Rob Leas

Good food slightly on the spicy side. Wine list could use some attention.

Bob Das

Small place with authentic north indian food in very large portions.

Aurela Z

Food was great, portions were a little smaller than other restaurants I’ve been to.

Style N Craft Leathers Inc.

Good Indian food. A little expensive. Good and quick service. No alcohol except wine and beer.

Sequoia Owen

First let me say that the place was small & there is no waiting room. With that being said, going in 30 degree weather meant that people crowded the door waiting for a table or stood out in the cold. However, I was impressed at how quickly they turned tables and sat people. We waited for a about 20 minutes with a reservation but when we sat down, WOW! The servers were awesome and very attentive, it didn't take long for food to come and the food was mind-blowing. I will say that this was the best Indian food I've ever had. I'll come back when the weather is a little warmer.

M M

Other than the decor I hated everything else! Food is overpriced and doesn’t taste that good! I ordered kebab which was undercooked. Person taking my order was withdrawn and unaware of the menu. I will not return to the place.

Christina Katopodis

This was the best Indian food I've had in a long time. The stuffed mushrooms, garlic naan, kabobs and curries were so delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

Eva Choe

Food is great, no space however

Giorgi Qushashvili

I was suppose to pick up food from this restaurant and it wasn’t ready yet , so waitress told that I should wait food while it’s cooking. Show Respect to people !!!!

Jessica Inyere

Their lunch buffet is amazing. You are served as much food as you can possibly eat and it's $15.

Vishal Shah

Nice and sleek place. Tried 3 different kebabs and all of them were up to the mark. The taste was very authentic and the chutneys served were delightful. Highly recommend this place

John Smith

Incredible food (esp. kebabs), cozy atmosphere, attentive service, well priced, one the best in the city!

Cary Simond

Good food and service.

Nina Morato

Quaint restaurant located in the heart of little India. This location is small, but very welcoming and the wait staff is very attentive. It's BYOB and the food is absolutely on point. Great location for a group of friends, or an intimate dinner for two. I highly recommend going to Bhatti!

Robert Ayala

Nonchalant attitude when you call in about a late delivery. Ordered at 7:29PM, delivery came at 10:03PM. Delivery guy told my doorman he was busy and wouldn't being the food up to my apartment. I called Seamless to remove his tip. The food is either great or average at Bhati. It becomes average when they are running low on a curry and add water to dilute it. My order arrived cold, like it was in an ice box. These people are totally mad. Update: A second delivery just arrived for my same order. They had lost track of the first one, so sent another delivery guy with another order. This one was at least warm. I want to like this place, but their disorganization drives me nuts!

Norm M

Absolutely superb Indian food. Unique dishes DO try the new cauliflower appetizer! And the lamb... Rhogan. Wowzers! If your waiter happens to be Zack, lucky you. Attentive, friendly, smart.

Yatish tanna

One of the best Indian restaurants in Manhattan. Their entrees are the best. I love the smokey flavour in their dishes. Place is small so book in advance if you are a large group.

Aditya Mukherjee

Too expensive for the amount of food. The quality is okay but not awesome... ice had better India food

Ishue Gupta

Amazing Indian food! Service was exceptional (Indian restaurants usually aren’t) and the staff was very sweet! I’ve had a lot of Indian food in Manhattan but Bhatti is absolutely amazing quality! Highly recommend☺️

Dhawal

Ordered goat biryani, couple of Taj beer around 10 Pm. Service was quick and courteous. Biryani was just awesome on top of quick and courteous service. (I think couple 1 star contributors are their competitors in unhealthy spirit with just the solo fake review against them)

Robert Alvarez

I had never been to Bhatti Indian Grill, before, but my first time was a great time. The prices are reasonable, and for those of you who love wine, I think you shall findcplenty to keep you happy. Also, the place seems vegetarian-friendly, and the service was quite good. If you go on a Saturday, do your best to arrive before 5PM, otherwise you might have a bit if a wait. I look forward to returning, as soon as I can.

Gautam Krishnan

We were a party of three who just got back from lunch at Bhatti. We had the lunch special that was served with bhel puri, sambar vada and chicken kabab as appetizers. Next came the main course with rajma masala, paneer butter masala, aloo gobi, butter chicken, saag gravy, lamb curry, naan and veg biriyani. Everything is unlimited (this is just a buffet that is served at the table). Every item tasted amazing and we weren't able to finish it all. We were three, but the food served seemed like for six people. We asked if we could take the left over food to go as there was just too much food to be wasted. We were told that they don't box them to go. We were a little skeptical about what they'd do with and asked them if it was to be thrown away, and were told that it is given to a charity. We had a feeling that it is just being reused and served again.

Sim

Best 'Kaali Daal' in NYC, coming from a guy who's eaten from best places in Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar and Chandigarh

Mohit Kumar

Service was awesome.Bhuna Goshta was nice.Chettinad chicken was also decent.A good dining experience overall.

Jennifer Penchas

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This restaurant was recommended by our Uber driver after a show. It was a Saturday night, and I had no reservations. Albla was super sweet and made our night! She got us a table, ... the best table actually! Now the food,.. I must say, this is the BEST Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at. I’m such a snobby eater and a huge foodie. I ate till it hurt! You must try!!

Jaidev Mulakkal

Excellent place to have Indian styled biryanis.

Aditya Baser

We ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. The food was very tasty although the tikka masala could've been a bit more spicy!

James Hartley

Everything was delicious (the skewer platters are excellent), attentive service, will definitely be back!

Leesa Yim

We went to Bhatti specifically for northern Indian cuisine. We had paneer and chicken tikka masala, both flavorful and creamy. I could just eat the Tikka malasa sauce with naan and rice, so good. We also had an okra dish, but I found it to be a little slimy (which they are known to be if not cooked properly). We also had rice and naan, nothing to write home about. Food came out pretty quick, service was pretty minimal, not bad just not too attentive. Will probably visit again, unless we find another better northern Indian restaurant.

Lauren Taara Sharma

Amazing ! Meat is perfectly cooked and super tasty. Service was perfect.

Adish Verdiya

Amazing food amazing service the real taste of india in New York

Saurabh Tandon

Great food. Bad service.

ankita upadhyay

Great place! The flavor of the food and the ambiance is on point. Friendly staff too. The space itself is just a bit small and I wish they’d turn on the AC but other than that, it’s a great place with great Indian food!

venkata sagar voonna

Food is amazing, they should work on the service though. Don't expect immediate attention when you walk to the restaurant.

Devang Patel

Good food just a little small

Bharat Baldwa

The best lunch special on Curry hill by far. Beware of the wait times some of the days. Gilauti kebab is the closest I've come to Lucknow in the States.

darius alam

Generally inauthentic, bland food. Poor wine list, mediocre service. The bone-in chicken and lamb are good, everything else is subpar.

Vikas Shrivastava

They serve lunch buffet at your table.. I guess end up with more food wastage. Alacarte was average too, lachha parantha was very thick, chana masala was just ok. Probably won't go back given better food is available all-around it

Sriram Natarajan

Good food, nice variety of dishes on the menu. But very slow and sloppy service. The waiters took forever to bring in all the dishes in our order. And then took another 15 minutes to get the check.

Kenya Leverett

Amazing! Obviously you want the tikki masala and naan but dont leave without the spinach either

Mark Lee

Great lunch, went with Indian co-worker and I ate with my hand for the first time. Awesome authentic Indian food and great experience!
