Love Bar Six. The decor is romantic, the hangar steak is always really good, and you can have a relaxed drink there. Its open really late which is a plus. Is it a sad thing that I have dinner from them at least once a week? The place has saved my life a few late nights actually.

Omg the best restaurant experience in quite some time. Moroccan food at it's best and great service. The Calamari is succulent with perfect Harissa. I had the Skate and my guy had the Moroccan Spicy Shrimp with Cous Cous. Creme Brulee and Profiteroles were awesome. It was all just superb. We're still talking about it!

The waiter tonight was such a jerk. He was mad I wanted to order an app w my drink, he wouldn’t split the check between a party of 3, and getting a glass of water was like asking for his first born. He was rediculously unhelpful, his wine choice was awful and he didn’t even check if we liked anything. It wasn’t busy at all he was just not into being a waiter. The bus staff was really waiting on us. He was too busy staring at himself in the mirror and his phone. Wont go back ever! There’s soooo many better places to go in this city. Avoid avoid avoid!

Another French bistro look with a standard average menu. The French bistro look sells but, to be an inviting French eatery, it has to come with awesome, nicely presented food, great knowledgeable service, and a fine wine list. This place is disappointing... It's only a backup option if you're hungry and all the other great places in the area are full.

I love the atmosphere and the design of the inside. This is a relaxed bar with great drinks and service. I had a few long island ice teas here and they were made just right, good and strong so enjoy those if you get them. The bathrooms are single toilets. The bar tender was very helpful with getting us drinks and the people watching was very fun here.

This place has a very warm atmosphere and super friendly staff. I had a whole steamed artichoke with garlic and oil, that was cooked to perfection and the delicious organic baby kale salad with beets and homemade ricotta cheese. This was my fourth time eating here and will definitely not be my last.

A nice bar to have a glass of wine or cocktail--the staff are friendly. My friend and I went here right before closing. The establishment is warm and and the patrons seem like regulars. They make good strong drinks and they have a selection of beer for beer drinkers. They also have wines as well. A good place to chill and have a drink.

It's 12:30 am on a saturday night and you live in the West Village...you're not sure if you should go home to avoid dealing with the typical rookie night BS or have one more drink. If you're leaning toward throwing caution into the wind for one more round head to Bar Six. It's totally low key, the lighting is calming and flattering, and you'll thank yourself in the morning if you down a merguez sandwich wrap to soak up all the booze from your night out.

We went for brunch, and the food was good. However, I got the French Toast with berries, and discovered half way through that all of the raspberries were moldy. I feel like it's reasonable to expect that my dish would be free or at least discounted as a result, but it was not.

The decoration is nice, service is ok,not the fastest. The crispy calamari are too spicy. Humus is a 5/10 and zucchini need to be crispier. No changing table for baby's. This place is a 3.9.

Great looking venue but really poor service which mixed up our starters and brought food out at the wrong time. The steak was really bad and covered in sauce which wasn't on the menu not explained by the waiter, and the fries looked and tasted like they'd been microwaved.

If you want to be transported into a Parisian bistro, come to Bar Six. With a bar up front and smaller tables and full dining room in the back, Bar Six is great to stop in for a drink and snack as well as a full meal. I ordered the salmon which came with so many vegetables, it was like ordering a meal and sides! My friend got the skate and said it was the best she had ever had. The service was good, atmosphere was perfect, prices are reasonable. I will definitely stop in here again. I'm so happy to have a restaurant like this around the corner from me.

Went for drinks. Place is cute, cozy atmosphere. Heat was on way too high, they turned it down but it came back on and was too hot again. Wear short sleeves. Calamari was tasty, had a nutty flavor which was unique. Drinks are not too pricey. Popular place so may have to wait/stand if going during peak hours.

Best place for an afternoon drink where you have the bar not to yourself, but just the right amount of others about you. LOVE the decor, design and atmosphere. Great bartenders - I once changed my mind about a drink after it was already poured and the bartender had no problem making an exchange. The food is also quite good - during the winter, I love stopping in for their soup of the day. GREAT spot.

Reliable, reasonable neighborhood bistro. Ambiance is great (French casual), it's not usually packed. Menu is consistent, there's always French onion soup, for example. Service unfriendly enough, not top notch, but fine for local establishment. This place has been here for decades and isn't pretentious. I hope it never disappears!

My gal pal and I have a standing date here Tuesday nights after chorus practice, and we haven't been disappointed yet! The snacks are good and the dinners are solid. Lots of great pescatarian options, which I appreciate, and the atmosphere is romantic and cozy. The couscous was particularly nice.

I like Bar Six. Great burgers and beer. Great for a glass of wine. Today I was served the worst croque monsieur on earth. It was some kind of mushy wonder bread in a press for two seconds abomination. Mushy, tasteless, inedible. After 2 bites I sent it back. To their credit they took it off the bill without being asked.
