New Mexican cuisine. The food here skirts the Tex/New Mexican style food its aruill very good. Prices are reasonable and the food is plentiful. The steak was cook perfectly and had a great juicy taste. I really enjoyed it.

Really enjoyed the brunch after we visited Meow Wolf, and the prices were completely reasonable. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito smothered in green chili. Good breakfast. Nothing super special but not too pricey and good. Give it a B. I had the chili relleno omelette and it was good. Their pancakes are huge! Solid morning fair. Chili worth the New Mexico name. Hearty and fair pricing. The anti-Denny's"! Worth the wait.

Amazing food at a very reasonable price! Must-try their red and green chile! Fridays and weekends can take a little while to get into the place but it is well worth the wait. Weekday is the place is still crowded but you can get in almost immediately. Chili cheese fries with Christmas style chili is the best. If you are new to the area and love Mexican food or just great American Cuisine you should definitely stop by the place and have a cup of coffee at very least.

Absolutely Fabulous!!!!! My wife and I loved The Pantry. She had to take a call just before we ordered and by the time she came back to the table it was near closing time. The quality was fabulous and we were not rushed. The best green chile I have had!!!! Great tasting brisket in the burrito. Loved every single bite and cant wait to come back to Sante Fe to enjoy it again.

Homey, local diner serving New Mexican comfort foods, from huevos rancheros to pancakes and oatmeal. We came at the weekend and there was a 30 minute wait for a table for two, but we hung around the counter for a few minutes and stools freed up. The food was simple, tasty and reasonably priced. A good number of veggie options, not so much vegan.

The reviews didn't lie. We liked the breakfast. We got the French toasts combo with eggs and bacon and the French toasts stuffed with berries and cream with egg and avocado. There is a great selection of food including breakfast, appetizer, entrees and drinks. It's well priced too.

We have come to this restaurant multiple times and they are always very busy, but the wait is worth it. It is a small kind of hole in the wall restaurant. The food is exceptional with your classic breakfast as well as some genuine New Mexican style food. They have one of the best pancakes I have ever had especially dipped in their delicious whipped cream. Some of the dishes were a little dirty, however they seem to take good care of the place and it is a very nice, very tasty restaurant and I will be dining here again.

After 12 hours in a car, I was ravenously hungry, and had high hopes for this place considering its rating. Sorely disappointed. Other than the tortilla chips (not complimentary like most Mexican restaurants, btw) and the excessive jalapeno in the guac, the food had no flavor. None. The rice was... orange, but didn't taste like anything. The beans had no seasoning. And the veggies in my enchladas were just plain old boiled veggies. Even the chipotle cream sauce they were covered in barely registered. So if you have no taste buds, by all means, enjoy!

The cafe was small and cozy. This was comfort food and you could get breakfast all day, sandwiches salads and soups, burgers. Mexican food. And meat loaf, chicken fried steaks, fried chicken and other diner food. Prices are mostly in the $11 to $16 dollar price range. It was a nice place for a casual lunch. Very nice wait staff.

We didn't have a reservation and our wait time was brief considering it was dinner for seven. All of the staff seemed to be working very hard and the food was amazing!! For dessert we ordered the trees leches which was to die for! The service was great too! Definitely recommend this place!!

Ordered the fish tacos, was well seasoned. The salsa had a great kick to it. My family ordered the denver omelet and BLT sandwich. They both enjoyed their meals. Would recommend anyone to try this place. Seems like there usually is a wait, but it's worth it. Inside is really busy but the wait staff did a good job.

I can't get enough of this place. My husband and I live in Albuquerque, but make it a point to eat at the pantry whenever we spend the night in Santa Fe. The food is consistently fantastic. I always change up my order for something with red and green chile, most recently ordered the carnitas burrito on offer. My husband craves their corned beef breakfasts. Their biscuits and gravy hit the spot. Whatever you go with, there are no wrong answers. There is usually a wait, but there is open seating at the counter if you are traveling solo or as a couple. I'm dreaming of my next visit already.

Killer food... second best chile rellenos I've had (second only to my mom's!) Tastes like someone's grandma taught 'em how food should be cooked. Everything perfectly seasoned and perfect texture. Great prices, friendly staff, kid friendly. The Tres Leches cake was also fantastic. You can spend a fortune in Santa Fe and not get food nearly this good.

We came here on a Monday for a late breakfast (12pm) and was preparing for a wait since the parking lot was packed but to our suprise we were immediately seated. This place!! This place is a must if you are in Santa Fe. It doesn't matter if you are a local, if you are in town for a few days, or if you are just passing by... seriously, The Pantry worth it all! Usually I don't stay in a restaurant if the wait to sit down is longer than 15 mins. The Pantry is an exception. Their meals and delicious and plenty; wide selection of options, and it's impossible to make a bad decision. The interior is authentic but clean, and the staff is professional, friendly and fast. I can recommend The Pantry without any reservations! Try it!

Was hoping for a little more variety other than SW. Eggs easy over were done perfectly but needed to mop grease off. Fries were super greasy hash browns, not even mopping could help. Biscuits were the opposite of light and fluffy. If you want SW and don't mind grease it looked good.

Had to go back a second day in a row because everything else looked so good and the meatloaf I had was perfect. This morning I had probably the best Huevos Rancheros I've had and the pancakes were awesome. Gonna have to report back on the key lime pie though. I was too full to try it after breakfast. Because I don't ever want to walk in and not get a seat, honestly, I'm tempted to give a bad rating. But I'm not that person and it's not like this place is a secret. I understand they have been there for numerous decades. It's easy to understand why they've lasted: Mighty tasty food; friendly, efficient staff; genuine atmosphere. This is a quality joint.

If you're anywhere near Santa Fe, you need to come here for breakfast. Absolutely amazing food and great service. The best bacon I've ever had at a restaurant and perfectly cooked eggs. Make sure you get here fairly early if you're in a rush because it fills up quick and there will be a wait. However even with the building nearly at capacity we got our food in a timely manner and our server checked up on us consistently.

When in Santa Fe, make time to eat at this small but very popular restaurant on the corner of Fifth and Cerrillos, a short drive from the historic plaza district. There is parking behind the restaurant. We visited on 8/4/19 in the evening and had a twenty minute wait. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and filling. Highly recommend-would definitely eat here again.

Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed in the food overall. I got the combination plate with the chile relleno, brisket taco and enchilada. Maybe its because I'm from Texas and used to authentic Mexican cuisine but this was not up to my standards. The food was bland and a bit over priced for what it was. My friend also thought the food was meh. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the service was outstanding; our server took really good care of us and was very helpful in regards to our questions. If you like eating "New Mexican" food or enjoy eating at El Fenix than this is probably up to your speed. But if you are like myself and expect a flavorful, rich experience from your food then im not sure you'll find that here.

Can I give it six stars? We stayed in Santa Fe over the holiday weekend - we are usually big on finding new places to eat in a new locale, but we ate at The Pantry on Friday night...then Saturday morning...and again before we left on Monday morning. The food is amazing, the green chili fabulous, and the service was impeccable. As someone who has waited tables in the past, I was amazed at how the staff worked together and turned over tables amazingly fast. Good job, you've got a family of customers for life! We'll see you again next time we're in town.

This is one of those little Mexican restaurants that seem to be out of the way but are very popular. When we got there however there were very few customers. My wife and I both had the special which was pulled pork tacos. Actually there was no pulled pork in it there was only some cubed pork. I guess was pork. Service was very good. My wife really liked hers, but I was just a little disappointed. No chips and salsa. I guess that's a Santa Fe thing. They do things differently in San Antonio Texas.

The Pantry's homemade chips and salsa are are absolutely delicious. Their red chile is just right; flavorful without overpowering spiciness. Their Tres Leches cake is wonderful as well!

Had breakfast here during our visit to Santa Fe. I had the breakfast burrito & potatoes, husband got...something else. Huevos Consuelo? We both really liked our food, and as someone who doesn’t LOVE spicy food, the Christmas chile sauce on top of mine was just perfect. A little heat but didn’t kill my tongue. Also appreciate that they have eco-friendly straws.

The Pantry is a favorite since childhood. The food never disappoints, as well as, the staff. Friendly, quick return from order to food on the table. The Pantry is New Mexico authentic!
