Enjoyed a margarita at happy hour price. Great bartender gave me some chips which I really appreciated. Their homemade chips and salsas are great. Friendly crowd. Nice outside patio. A single person can feel comfortable alone.
Good experiences first: Staff was super friendly, was seated immediately upon arriving. Cons: Well, I came for great food and margaritas.... and got neither. I wasn't able to get a margarita because this particular eatery doesn't accept "verticals". Okay, I get it company policy, but that doesn't mean it makes logical sense, either. I was above age but having a "vertical" banned me from taking part in the one thing I came for. Pretty disappointed. And the food: it wasn't great. I ordered a flat enchilada with rice and beans. The beans and cheese topping was the best part. The chili on the enchilada tasted burnt and microwaved. I can easily say I was burned $11 for a plate that I didn't enjoy. My girlfriend ordered a soup along side another dish. The soup was on the menu, but the waiter politely stated that this location didn't sell the soup. Tl;Dr: Came for a good time, left dissatisfied and disappointed. Great service, but unsatisfying food for the amount I spent here.
The food was very flavorful and filling. A bit spicy for this texmex loving chick.
Wow... We are traveling from California staying at Artesia and decided to visit last Cruces. We didn't realize the time change and made longer than we expected, but this restaurant made the trip totally worthwhile. Soe uslky after getting a fiasco at another restaurant NB ext to the Carlsbad caverns
Great food! The rice was amazing! Very affordable.
Excellent fish tacos. They bring you 4 different "salsas" and a basket of chips when you sit down. Really nice people serve you here. My companion had the gorditas and didn't care for them. I loved my fish tacos.
The food is delicious and they have great service. The patio area could be improved. This is a good place with company you know well. If you are wanting to have conversation or are with older company, it can be a bit loud.
I love this place just was a little disappointed with what I ordered I got the stuffed sopapillas with red Chile meat and smothered with red Chile they were not very flavorful to my liking. Plus we asked for sugar and cinnamon sopapillas and we got plain ones. I've never been let down here before. Love that on a take out order they give you the chips and dips those are always so delicious!
Food was delicious, but you need more variety like shrimp cocktail, shrimp soup and so on.
I first went to Si Senor to pick up 3 taco platters for a meeting. They were very nice, the tacos were delicious and had lots of meat in them. Everyone agreed the shredded beef was the best. The green chile was very good, also. A couple of days later I visited for an early dinner and had the Si Senor steak. It was truly the leanest most tender rib eye that I think I have ever had and it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This is my favorite place to go to every sunday for menudo the owner is very helpful and the staff there are amazing and the place is always clean thanks you guys...
Wasn't what I expected. Large building plenty of seating. Had to wait about 20 minutes but well worth the wait. After two accidents with my son and his beverage they moved us to a new table. Food was great. Service was fairly fast. Definitely recommend
Great food but slower service. Will definitely be back.
Their Taco Platter is excellent. I love their red and green chili and never forget the Sopapillas after dinner. They also have a great Raspberry Ice Tea. Their main courses are your typical New Mexico Mexican food. I particularly enjoy their fajita salad. However, the best part of this restaurant is their 4 different salsas, chips, and sopapilla that come with every meal! The atmosphere and decor is also beautiful and memorable.
Delicious food and attentive service. My waiter was very friendly and the the salsa is really tasty. I found it very spicy personally but in a good way. Chili is so yummy there!Mmmmm!!
Best place to eat if you like green chili on Your food this is the best place to come great service very attentive. Waitress Louisa very good at her job. Will be coming back again soon to try their other dishes.
Food was okay. Never had an enchilada with meat on the outside. We sat in the bar area, our sever was very short and rude. She had a bad attitude as if we were bothering her. We will not be going back.
They have a great team there. For how busy they were, the service was seamless. They are able to accommodate walk ins very easily, especially on graduation weekend. The food is fresh and hot as always, and the beer cold. I'm super impressed always when I go to Si Senor.
Best in the region! Parking is often full at popular hours so arrive early if you can. Even with a full lot we were seated fairly quickly. Waitstaff were friendly and quite attentive. I have had chiles rellenos, enchiladas, tacos, which were all very good. Definitely some the the best New Mexican fare in the region.
Always a favorite place to eat when visiting Las Cruces. Their chips and salsa/dip platter is amazing. I can't leave without having their gordita plate.
Awesome Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces. Enjoyed the decor. The salsa basket was a surprise. Get there early when they open because they are a big hit. Get there late and wait in line. Oh oh oh, food was awesome too.
The local cuisine is what we always look for and this delivered. This restaurant has some really good food. The different salsas amazing. It goes mild, hot, hotter and really hot! I would definitely recommend this place and come back for more.
Some of the best food that I've had in New Mexico, for sure. The service is outstanding, both times the waitresses were very friendly and talkative. There is a fair amount of customization with how entrees are served, between sides, how they're cooked, sauces, and such.
I’m not sure if it is because I’m not from LC but I’ve been to several restaurants now and I feel like they always need salt. I hardly ever add salt to anything and usually am very reserved on salt as well but I recently had friends in town who are looking forward to good Mexican food but we were all left a little disappointed in the very under salted food. The service was amazing and the salsa was good. I just think for myself I’d pass on the entrees because the meat needs salt. I feel like this has been a constant around though so might just be me.
The food is not the best in Las Cruces, but it is good and the ambience and setting are lovely.
Excellent service and excellent food. Had four varieties of salsa which were hot but very good.
Very tasty meal, service was great...ask for Shane oh and the prices are great

Always take good care in our service. Very good food.
Enjoyed the food and decor. The salsas were tasty. The staff was friendly and the store seemed clean. My water never went empty. I was there at dinner time on a Wednesday and got seated right away and had options to seat outside. I would go back next time I am in town.
Delicious!!! Originally from Las Cruces, I always stop at So Senior when I'm visiting. The best Southern NM cooking around!
Always the best place to eat Mexican Food in Las Cruces. Always consistent. The red sauce on the enchiladas are the best! Love this place!
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF. DELICIOUS FOOD. MY FAMILY AND I LOVE EATING THERE EVERY TIME WE VISIT CRUCES.
Definitely get your money worth! Good portions & complementary sopapillas! The host personnel was extremely welcoming & seemed honest. Visited from El Paso, would strongly recommend if you're looking for something to eat authentic to Las Cruces. The waiter Shane was courteous and amiable too. Thanks guys!
Great service from Raul. Best I've ever had at Si Senors, thank you. Happy hour all day Monday and Tuesday! Best draft prices in the city and even better food!
Their food is great. They have 4 dipping salsas with the chips. There is a very impressive waiter. In the photo observe the five plates over one arm and a sixth in the other hand. Very good customer service and great family entertainment
The atmosphere and service is awesome great customer service. Place is very organized and clean.
My family loves to have all our celebrations here. Fantastic waiters and lots of parking!
We did go right before closing and we still got seated. Our table was broken and let the server know but he didn't care. He informed us that kitchen closes at 8:30 and we needed to get our order in before then. We placed our drink order. While waiting for order, I got all our napkins to make a shimmy to hold up table so it wouldn't fall when you tried to put your drink down. That sort of worked. Our drinks came and we quickly put in our order. Our order came out and my food was warm. The kids loved their plates. Never could get our server's attention for more napkins. Ugh...the only reason we went is becuase we were at National Night Out and everything else was closed. My kid wanted bean tostadas.
Very good food and great service and price point.
Visiting Las Cruces from Las Vegas NV. Met up with a friend for lunch. The food was delicious. Our waitress Luisa C was amazing. She was fast and friendly! Thank-you for the great service!
Excellent food, prices and service.
A Mexican restaurant true to the local cuisine yet unique in its four types of salsa and chips The local naming of the menu underlies the tasty local ingredients. Very friendly environment and above and beyond staff make this truly a fine NM EXPERIENCE
Great service. Wonderful food. Accommodated our tight schedule in spite of long holiday waiting list.
Outstanding chips and four different dips. Eat Mexican food to your taste buds. You will not say no.
Easily the best Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces. Highly recommend. Their chili can be mild or so hot it makes you cry, so there’s definitely something for everyone.
Very good food with a knowledgeable waitress. And very good margaritas
Friendly atmosphere that you feel welcome from the time you come in to the time you leave. The quality and taste of the food is excellent, specially the filled sopapillas. I would say that anything you order you will not be disappointed.
