Enjoyed the food. We had several appetizers with our group of 10 and all were tasty. Everyone said their main dishes were good and took home leftovers. There were several other groups of over 10 people and the place was able to accommodate them. The waiter was nice but could not remember who had what and mixed up the bills. The Included Gratuity caught us by surprise as we were almost double tipping before we realized it.

One of my favorite places to eat in Santa Fe. Located nicely near the Regal Cinema movie theater. Santa Fe Capitol Grill offers a huge variety of lunch and dinners. Appetizers are great. Meals are great. Plus you can't beat their specials. Prime rib Monday I believe is a must. Just an overall great environment. I give it 5 stars. If you want to have a small intimate dinner, have drinks, or bring the family, this is your stop. Great job Santa Fe.

Horrible customer service per Santa Fe. Maybe it is the fact I am from the south where customer is polite, nice, attentive and there to help you. I saw my server 3 times order, bring food and then my check. Customer service should be friendly quick and attentive. Food was boring and over priced. Waste of my time.

Everything was good except for the old mayonnaise they brought. Out crusty. What ruined my meal was when I went to the restroom after and witnessed two men coming out of the same. Stall no flush and no hand washing made my stomach turn told host he said he was sorry two guys were still there at a table

My friends took me to eat here as a farewell greeting because I was in the process of moving to Rio Rancho. I've lived in Santa Fe for 6 years and never new this place exsisted. I wish I had known about it while I lived there. It is a great place. Our waiter was wonderful. Such great sevice. I just loved everything about it. Kind of reminds me of the Hardrock Cafe in San Antonio, Texas. I had the Soup of the Day and it was delicious. The portion was perfect. Not to little and not to much. The Key Lime Cheesecake was beyond delicious. So fluffy. Never had a cheesecake like that. I highly recommended this cafe.

Ate there yesterday. Ordered shrimp scampi. Got shrimp Alfredo. Asked for water with no ice. Got water with ice. Asked the waitress to change it. Again got water with ice. Perhaps she’s hard of hearing or pays little attention to customers’s orders and requests. Won’t patronize again. Won’t recommend to anyone. Was compelled to give it one star. Couldn’t post with zero stars.

The food is pricey considering all they offer are burgers. At minimum you're looking at $11 for a classic burger. Appetizers were about the same. Service wasn't terrible but definitely not friendly. The highlight of the meal was the bathroom however. Females bathroom was crawling with ants which I discovered when they crawled up my back as I was trying to use the toliet. I informed the manager and he told me they were having the same problem in the kitchen. Not reassuring in the least.

Service has gotten terrible! When CG opened up the draw was the friendly staff, good drinks and an awesome menu. This last Saturday I sat down with my girlfriend and wasn't approached by anyone on the staff for 20 minutes. There was a group of wait staff, two bar tenders, and a manager standing at the bar socializing! I was 10 feet away and they stood around as if they were patrons. The bar wasn't busy and the one waitress that was actually waiting on people was pretty rude when I asked if we could sit somewhere else. Sadly, I'm very disappointed in the direction Capital Grill has gone. Zero emphasis on the customer. Ranch House has actually become a better option and that's considering CG was once my favorite hang out.

About the third time I've been suckered into this place and been very unimpressed every time. I always feel like this place is trying so very hard to be something it's not. Like it's fancy but doesn't know what that means. Had the Mediterranean chicken salad this time and was of course disappointed. Hummus was so sweet it tasted like frosting, the chicken was dry and chewy and the salad part was really small, and possessed enough capers to kill a small child. Service was slow but ok for South Santa Fe,

We eat here about once a week. Victor provides amazingly efficient and professional service. Hostess, bartender and assistants are all friendly and great. Good light meal choices, pleasant environment, great music, and more than decent dog-friendly patio. (Do be prepared to be approached by people who are out of work, as Lowe's is just next door.)

This is our go to happy hour spot, since it's in walking distance from our house. They have good happy hour specials and the staff is always friendly. The food is really good and priced fairly for Santa Fe. LOVE the mac and cheese and the green chile chicken Alfredo (totally shareable). TVs in the bar let us watch our favorite sporting events. Note that a lot of the tables in the bar are high-top, and some stools have no backs, which can be uncomfortable when sitting a while. The restaurant part is pretty cozy, mostly booths, though you can still hear the bar noise. Love the patio when it's warm and the little one gets to run around outside.

Order got confused. Asparagus was salty. Potatoes au gratin were delicious. Ribeye had good flavor but was uber thin, not a substantial cut of beef. Burger was dry. Coffee was weak. Sweet potato fries were very good. Overall the meal was adequate but we will not rush back.

Not incredibly impressed, but not terrible. Food was pretty blah for the price. Waitress was very slow and cold in her demeanor. Guests next to us were cursing loudly and using gross expletives and racial slurs- I know that's not the restaurant's fault but it made the experience pretty unpleasant. We left quickly.

Make sure your bill that your paying for is yours very poor management of this place manager and bartender are in cahoots to make more money for them selves they will serve you as many drinks as you want and then overcharge you and if you dispute it they'll 86 you believe me its happened to me a couple times I'm still waiting for the ATF to go investigate them

My wife and I frequently visit the Santa Fe Capitol Grill for both lunch and dinner. The service and food are great. Our favorite appetizers are the Arugula & Crab Cake salad, the Seared Ahi tuna and the Spring Roll. Entrees include the Airline Chicken and the Pan-Seared Salmon. You cannot go wrong with other dishes. A nice selection of local draft beers and an adequate selection of wines complement the food. Glad to have good place to go on the south side of Santa Fe, particularly on movie night with the theater just across the parking lot.

this place was surprisingly good. I ordered a burger, which was cooked the way I asked and came with plenty of really tasty New Mexico chili. My buddy ordered chicken fried steak, and when I tried it it was phenomenal. It was a pretty nice atmosphere, laid-back and clean. They had a few TVs on so I could watch the games.

Extremely loud in the bar area and dirty in the seating area. The prices for typical grill cuisine are fair and the. service is fast and efficient. I would suggest skipping their Happy Hour if your a vegetarian or want to have a conversation with your table mates although it's very reasonable with $3 drafts and $5 wines. The noise can be deafening!

We came out on a Friday night. As a party of five we were expecting a wait but we were sat immediately. Drinks, food, and service were all excellent. We ordered nachos as an app because we were starving. They arrived quickly and we're delicious! Entrees had nice portions and everyone enjoyed their meal. We will be back!

I was invited to a large luncheon party- 15 people in the group. The server was attentive and gracious! He took our orders with precision. Orders served in reasonable time. Food was better than expected! I had winter kale salad which was fresh. Serving was large so it could've been shared. Green chili pork soup was hearty,aromatic and tasty! An unexpected pleasure! I'll definitely try it again
