We go here occasionally for the all you can eat prime rib and crab legs on either Fridays or Saturdays. This is a great deal especially if you go HAM on the crab legs. I always eat as many as I can and easily get my money's worth. I like thinking about how much I would spend if I bought that many legs from the store. Anyways, go put $25 bucks on your favorite roulette color and see if you can win a free dinner. If you don't hit, just eat until you get double your money's worth and it will all be good.

Amazing seafood selection!! The ribs melted and the flavor of the prime rib was on point! I won't even get into desserts... Ridiculous! Great price and comfortable surroundings for family night or date night. I will be returning!

One of the worst buffet experiences!! I decided to get the quesadilla first, because the person working that particular area just put fresh ones out. I placed (3) fresh quesadilla on my plate and then noticed the sour cream and guacamole bowls were empty. What's the point of getting fresh quesadilla if you do not have sour cream and guacamole. I told the person working at the quesadilla station that they were out of sour cream and guacamole; he said to come back in 10 minutes. I explained to him about placing (3) quesadilla on my plate due to being a fresh batch that was made at his station. I did not want to wait 10 minutes; the quesadilla would get cold. I then politely asked him if there was someone else that could help; the response was "I'm too busy working the corn!" One of the workers from the rib station ended up bringing the sour cream with a very poor attitude. He slammed the bowl of sour cream hard onto the counter, and when I thanked him the only response was a dirty look. When I asked about the quacamole he completely ignored me and walked away. I'm extremely disappointed with the poor service and don't plan on returning here again.

We have been frequent patrons over the last few years. In the past several months we have experienced it getting worse and worse. The slot machines have gotten so tight they should be ashamed. You can't get free spins and when you do it pays what is laughable. A $2.50 - $5.00 bet will get you $25 - $34 dollars on the free spin. That is simply horrible. No one goes expecting to win every time. No one goes expecting to lose money EVERY time. We have gone back several times in the last few months to give it a chance thinking they were restructuring or some such and it would get better. It has only gotten worse. We were there last night and it was just as bad. Their advertisements are totally false - loosest slots and best bet in NM. No way! Save your money stay away. We will never go back and they have lost long time customers in us and others we have spoken to.

The Feast buffet is nice. We go every week. We love the seafood buffet on fri and sat night. If you play the slot machines, during the month you are there, you will get a discount. Staff is always friendly. The dessert section has more cakes than cupcakes, you see me happy. They are closed on sundays and Tuesdays. Open on sundays for ie .mother's day. Call to make sure there open. The is also a lovely smaller restaurant in the non smoking section. When late we like to get a little snack before going home....etc

Buffet was okay, but what I don’t care about this place is server have to do a tip pool. Meaning at the end of the night all the servers divide their tips with everyone. I think this is wrong. The owners probably steal the tips from the servers as well. Never again.

Like it, my only problem is that I need more variety. I'm not a meat eater. Also have a problem with their not posting what some of the entrees are or contain. Example, what kind of fish are they using. White fish label doesn't tell me what it is.

Went on a Saturday for the crab and prime rib. Price was good. We went early around 4pm. It got super crowded around 6. Lots of people with small kids. Very kid friendly. Only negative was the noise level.

Basically, you get what you pay for fully applies. The service is outstanding. Our waitstaff was kind, courteous, polite, and most important, he was patient with my children. The food is not amazing. In general I would say mediocre at best. I could make anything I ate here more appetizing if I did it myself at home. Most of the food looked like it had been there since they opened at 11am when we arrived at 6pm. It tasted that way too. The beef was overcooked and the white fish was mushy from being out too long I think. That being said, dessert was actually pretty good. I recommend the apple crisp with some caramel sauce. Salad bar was also good, pretty standard. If you're on a budget and you just dont feel like cooking, I can see coming here on the regular on Monday or Thursday. I dont personally plan to return but I would say it's worth giving it a shot once to see if it's more your ish than mine. We came on a Monday so I can't really speak to the weekend difference. Perhaps the higher price means food is better.

We were harassed by security. We went to eat and came back, security blocked us in and told us we were not allowed to go in and out of the casino, that we had to go in gamble and then leave. Exact words!!!!! That it was against policy to go in and out...... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!

This place is a great deal for Friday brunch, especially if you sign up for their players club card. The food is good and there is a lot of it. The only thing I didn't like was the dark lighting, but my eyes adjusted after a few minutes.

I ate at the buffet on Jan.15th and was celebrating a friends birthday and had the worst service ever.Our servers name was Graciela and she was very rude.She slammed my iced tea glass on the table and it was brimming over with ice so it spilled all over.She never offered us a bread basket,never refilled our drinks and never checked back to see if we needed anything.I am shocked that you would have someone like that working in your nice buffet.I had breakfast there on Jan.28th and had the most wonderful server, her name is Brittany.Maybe she can train Graciela on how to do her job! I love your casino and will continue to frequent it but will refuse to sit at Graciela's' station. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

If they had a minus that’s what I would have given them. I went there today 05/20/19, accompanied by my brother from Alabama around 300pm . I tried to retrieve my buffet coupon the customer service rep told me, I had not been back since 04/19/19 , therefore I was ineligible for senior discount nor was my brother. Brunch at Santa ana is very limited an you have too print out your discount paper before you go up to counter.....isnt their some why just to show your casino cards.....breakfast food was good but lunch food was very limited desserts was especially small... went for ice cream dessert an was told it was only served for later dinner at four o'clock...upset

They were serving Prime rib and crab today. It was very good. The service at the table was great as well. The only draw back, was having to walk from one end to the other in the casino filled with cigarette smoke. Not knocking smokers but if you're a non smoker, its gross.

I have been there yesterday. Last time in December 2018. Yesterday this buffet was different than in December. It was bad. Nothing to compare to December. Very little selection and most of it was chicken. At carving station was only pulled turkey. No more deli almost no selection at Mexican station ( only enchilada and tamales). Chinese food was bad, almost not eatable. Never again, this was my last visit. Also for seniors are no more discount unless you play at casino.

I went on a Saturday for seafood night. I feel like it was a little over priced. Seafood is pricey but buffet seafood should not be. It was $63 for myself and my dad. The food was great though. I wish they had a bigger salad bar section but it was pretty good. The service was great as well.

I reviewed the buffet 3 weeks ago after eating there a few times. I gave it 5 stars because of the oysters, the crab legs, the desserts, and the cost. Today, I was very dissatisfied because the oysters were low quality- darker, less moist, smaller, and had sand and pieces of shells. I spoke with Narintra and Thinh - kitchen managers-. They said that upper management asked them to shift to Sysco as the distributor for the oysters. I take back my 5 stars. But the service (Patrick) and the new crepe dessert station and the new sushi roll area, are great additions. The crab legs are great. The cost is $29.99.

We went during the seafood and all you can eat crab legs. The cost was $39 but it was worth every penny. The tools for the crab legs were great. They had multiple stations to get the crab legs so there was not a long wait. There were clams, muscle, salmon, and much more. The food was tasty and hot. The bread was fresh and was the salad. The desserts we're amazing! The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff extremely friendly and helpful! What a wonderful experience!

This is the worst buffet I have ever experienced. Don't waste your money. I wouldn't eat there for free. 60% of the crab legs have literally NO MEAT in them. I finally figured out that I could hold them up to the light to see which ones were empty. The desserts aren't worth the calories, seriously. My 4 and 7 yo didn't even eat them. Yuck!!

Two times since I said I would stop criticizing for 24 hours I did, first was just about 8 hours later when I did so about how un-photogenic I am, then later that day when I complained to a wait-staff on how rude the woman who was our waiter was (she slammed down two cups of water, two cups of Iced tea and first the saucer then the hot cup of coffee, practically tossed the saucerful of creamer upon the table from a 4" height distance to the table. She didn't bring us the silverware I asked for so I went to another table and grabbed some, when she saw what I did she immediately, again slammed down the replacement silverware at that table. As people were walking in she would lovingly say "Hi, everyone, have a seat, I'll be right with you!' I let the other waitress in on Graces shenanigans, who insisted I tell the on duty manager. I insisted I didn't want to. Grace was an Unapologetic Waitress, but she soon after, came around the corner and became the sickly nice fake outer shell of a hardened actress (its obvious she has done this before). I still left her the customary 20% tip, which she did not deserve, but being in the customer service industry since 1996 I was still forced to be a gentleman.#NeverAgain #SantaAnaStarCasino #Grace #FeastBuffet

It might be more crowded, but the service was on point. Had all condiments, such as soy sauce, A1 sauce, and a couple of hot sauces at every table. This saves the trouble from getting up every time to get it from the buffet line compared to Sandia. Food was surprisingly good for such the discount we got on Thursday nights. Santa Ana just feel more homey versus Sandia, which can be kinda have for basic items. Hell, I think Santa ana 2 dollar burgers are SO MUCH better than sandia. Sandia burgers seemed to changed, they even had a frozen feel to them. Kinda disappointed for something that is a resort versus a smaller casino that barely got a hotel up.

Dealers and staff are always friendly. The Casino has the same aspects as Sandia or Hard Rock. Does not have a hotel. Im a Black Jack player and Santa Ana Star offers a lot other casinos don't. Namely mid-deck entry, 10 to 1 tie bet play, and late surrender. If your a Black Jack player this is the casino for you.

Came here for Thanksgiving and it was AMAZING. Full salad bar, turkey, prime rib, crab legs, amazing mashed potatoes, I think they might've had ham but by the time I was finished with my other three plates, I couldn't eat another bite!
