This Restaurant is classified in the category of French restaurant.
Quiet french resturant, very relaxing atmosphere. Food is fantastic with mostly wine, but they have 1 beer. Highly suggest to give this resturant a try!
I went here for a book signing. This place was perfect for it since this was a quaint, French bistro patterned after the 1920's and the book was set in the same place and era. The horsdouvres (?) we're delicious and authentically French. The owner was personable and just the right amount of attentive. I loved this place!
I have never reviewed a restaurant on Google before, but I had the most lovely lunch experience here and felt I had to show some love. John was exceptionally hospitable and the mussels and fried oyster crepes were delicious. Come eat here.
Great food and very friendly/attentive yet non-intrusive service. A keeper.
My wife and I tried going here for our anniversary. We arrived without reservations, so we expected to have to wait and would gladly have done so. We figured we'd get a place in line and enjoy the area. There were a few empty tables, but we figured they were reserved. Instead, we got a condescending waiter who didnt look at any list and asked us to take a look around and do some "waiter math" with him. How rude, we will never give money to an establishment who treat people like that.
If I need to brighten my wife's day, one of the bistro's quiet outside tables never fails.
Delicious and fun
Always a pleasant experience with terrific food
Wonderful atmosphere, amazing staff (perfectly attentive), fantastic food, and superb overall! 10/10 highly recommend
(Translated by Google) very french, very good (Original) tres francais, tres bon
Let it stay a hidden from anyone but those that like really great food and service. I want to go back often but do not want to be crowded out by those that could be happy with pub food.
Everything about this place is fantastic! The service Alex provided was exceptional. Perfect for an intimate gathering or date night.
best french food i ever had in my lifee! i believe the owner was our server. very kind and explained everything clearly. I gave them a 60% tip because i was so satisfied. i will be returning soon!
One of the best fine dining experiences in Albuquerque. The food and service is incredible, and the atmosphere is very intimate.
FANTASTIC! This cozy restaurant offers great ambiance, TERRIFIC FOOD, and wonderful Service. Our waiter Alex, was knowledgeable and offered great menu recommendations. FIVE STAR! The Blue Cheese Mussels were the table favorite.
It's a 10/10 in every category. Food, service, and atmosphere all wonderful for a Valentine's dinner two days late. Very reasonably priced. It's a must go!
The French Onion Soup and Croque Monsieur are a great combination! Excellent spot for a quiet lunch.
They need to improve a lot in their service. Waiter was rude.
quaint little French restaurant, great seafood, including mussels fixed several ways, wine and creme brulee'! the waiter is an amazing server and has brilliant conversation if you want it. what more could I say?
Très délicieux. J'aime cette restaurant.
Food was good, service personable. Only think I was on fence was selection of glasses of wine.
First time there wonderful. Make sure you make reservation. You won't be sorry.
Party of four for dinner. We started with Oysters on the halfshell, they were delicious. I ordered the filet mignon, it was perfectly cooked. My boyfriend had the lamb, and enjoyed every bite. Our two guests had the salmon and the mussels. We ended with creme brulee and the chocolate mousse .Our server was excellent, and took very good care of us. I’m so glad we went back, and gave this little gem another try. Everything was fantastic. We will be back this summer to sit on the patio and enjoy another meal.
Online reviews give high marks to P’tit Louis. Based on that I was looking forward to giving it a try. I called the restaurant to make reservations and was prompted to leave a message for a return call. Later that afternoon I received a return call from an irritated and condescending male associate who criticized me for failing to request a reservation time in my message. Sorry for the faux pas. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
I think I might have a new favorite restaurant in ABQ. Started dinner with cheese and 1/2 carafe of rose followed by fennel mussels and a steak with the house red wine. Everything was perfectly cooked and the cheese was amazing. The house wine was reasonably priced. The ambiance is cozy and cute and service was good. Great first impression!
Cute bistro, fresh delicious food,a little light on seasoning. Butter with the French rolls would have been nice. Great patio dining.
I think this is one of the finest restaurants in Albuquerque. The food was amazing, the service was tops. It's a smaller more intimate place. A wonderful change from the same old chains. Well worth a visit.
Had a great time, great food and great friends! Our waiter, John Austin, couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful! Very knowledgeable about the menu and even speaks fluent French! Wonderful experience and would definitely go again!
Great French food and ambience, price friendly also. Soupe a l'oignon gratinee is the best@
So sweetly romantic!
Delicious, quaint, neighborhood restaurant with friendly service. The duck confit and creme brulee to die for...!
Alex was PHENOMENAL! Food was amazing... definite must try bistro in Albuquerque!!!!
Delicious meal, had a wonderful salmon and shrimp dish with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Excellent service and awesome atmosphere, seemed like everyone was enjoying their meals.
Good chow!
Unbelievable
I adore this restaurant! Fresh french bread, lovely wines, excellent service, lovely decor, and the food is melt-in-your-mouth to die for! It's an overall excellent experience.
Yum
Fabulous French onion soup and crab cake
Very Paris in the 20s atmosphere. Good food.
Excellent food and cozy atmosphere! Wonderful service!
I have eaten here many times. It has mostly been excellent. Service is very good allow over an hour for dinner. The oysters are very good and the prices are reasonable.
Oysters and mussels were great.
Great food, but the party of 10 was boisterous.
Very romantic spot. Very small and intimate. Call and make a reservation, or you will not get a seat. This is French style dining, so expect it to take longer. That is a good thing, good food should take time to enjoy.
We just left brunch here. It is my new favorite spot! The atmosphere is casual and beautiful. We received the best customer service I think I have ever had. My daughter who is10 loved it and she is hard to crack. Plus, the food was delicious.
This place did an EXCELLENT job at creating a relaxed and refreshing atmosphere. I have to say my favorite touch of the entire experience was the strawberry slices atop my glass of champagne! I’d never had it this way and wow what a difference. The server John was outstanding and I will definitely be returning. 5/5 -Aram
Food was very good
We have to wait for everything ..we were there at 1:15 pm and left at 3:00 pm .. It was very disappointing .. From service to our food were slow!It was a Sunday brunch, and the lady , maybe the owner, keep coming back and telling us Bronchos won.. Maybe it was slow because they are watching football and forgot they still have customers . The good thing about this experience is meeting mother and daughter from Las Cruces.. I am from Albuquerque and dine a lot .. We are not coming back!!!
This was a really nice hole in the wall. The decor was pleasant and the staff were great. The service wasn't the BEST, but it was decent enough. The cheeses and wine we selected were fantastic, and the foie gras was delicious as prepared. We even spoke to the chef who was a little quiet. Worth going again.
This is a very small place but very cozy. Service is friendly and the owner is accessible. Food is great and there is an excellent weekend brunch for reasonable price.
Make a reservation now! The food is amazing, the service better. Real french cuisine waiting for you to enjoy. I like the spicy mussels cooked in white wine with French fries. Yum! Get the bottle of gruet champagne, it is more than worth it!
Beautiful french restaurant, like you'd find in NYC, but without the NYC price premium! Tiny space, make reservations!!!
We love this place and try to stop on when we are here. The service and food are wonderful. A perfect place to end the day.
Beautiful in the spring. The French doors are open to the patio and you can see the trees blooming. Really reminded me of France. Of course the food is made fresh and delicious. The wait staff is friendly. The wine is great. But the wait can be long for food but its worth it.
amazing flavors
Mussels are always delicious!
Outstanding Alex was wonderful great place to eat
Service well was a little laxed food was amazing crab cakes to die for
5 Stars all the way. Unique fair and service. Unbelievable deserts and wine list. Best french restaurant in town. Can't wait to get back. Bon appitite!
Delicious food, very authentic french bistro atmosphere
Off the list! Forget this place. We used to be regular visitors when it was under the previous ownership. Never again. Just went today for early Mother's Day Brunch...(Saturday). Had a 12 noon reservation. When we arrived there were 6 other people seated inside, and one table of 2 on the patio. No one at the entrance to greet us. After about 5 minutes of standing, the owner finally came from the kitchen. We were not greeted, only seated and handed a menu with no explanation. A few minutes later another couple arrived, they did not have a reservation, seated immediately. The owner was back and forth to the kitchen, he was the only server. He then took the drink order of the couple who arrived after us. At this point, we didn't even have water...no explanation what so ever as to why we were still waiting to be served. After waiting and being completely ignored for 20-25 minutes, we got up and left. Still not even a comment from the owner. People, this is not how to run a business! Totally embarrassed to have taken our 90 year old Mother here for what should have been a celebration. We called Zinc and were seated immediately upon arrival. A wonderful meal, as well with attentive service and good food.
A hidden gem. With less than a dozen tables, this cozy place serves incredible French food. They do mussels 6 different ways (the traditional and Roquefort are both to die for) and also serve wine by the 1/4 carafe. Truly decadent.
Just tried this lovely place for the first time and it was delicious! You definitely have to try the Creme Brulee.
Lovely Chef. Intimate and delicious restaurant. Excellent for special occasions. This is the place to go if you enjoy a chef who takes great pride in his work. The specials are always....well, special. We feel so lucky to have this place in the neighborhood. You could easily enjoy a meal here, on your own as well. Very welcoming and comfortable.
My daughters took me for a birthday brunch. We should have gone to Zinc. Served warm bread. Yes it was warm...but it was a couple of bagel quarters and quarters of a sweet roll. No, house bagette. The tempura oyster crepe had a few very small fried bits of oyster flavoring. The bacon was good, though. The mussels were not cleaned well. They were very gritty. Dessert was good, but Zinc would have been better. Too much time between courses. We spent 2 1/2 hours there.
Delicious and very fun experience! Great service and very cool atmosphere in a small, intimate restaurant.
Great food in a cozy setting! Wonderful for a romantic meal!
Excellent food & calming experience as you are not rushed out the door. Was treated like a princess. Cute building with attractive waiters brimming with positive energy; who could ask for more?! Thank you
Very good french food. Lovely atmosphere. Service needs improvement.
Delicious moule and house red, with a nice pate to start.
Best dining in Albuquerque
Great experience, great staff, great food!
Great service and wonderful food
The food and service were phenomenal! We ordered the mussels in saffron sauce with fries and the duck breast with bing cherries. Each dish was wonderful and careful time was taken to prepare it. Alex was a pleasant server and reason enough to go again. We will see you on many Fridays to come for your fresh flown-in oysters!
House red wine and cheese sampler are excellent. Food is ok. Lovely, small interior. Friendly wait staff.
What a delicious first experience! I will definitely be return patron!!!
Affordable and French are not usually words seen together, however this small French bistro offers excellent food and wine at a price people in most other cities would envy. While the wine list is small, every option is great and pairs well with their menu. The waitstaff is professional and exceptionally helpful. They have oysters flown in from the Boston for their Thursday/Friday special.
Onion soup with tomato base...horrible Chicken with macaroni..over garlic No baguette Not the same as before...in 2 years that place is gone...sorry to be brutal but wont go back.
Went for my daughter's 21st birthday, this is suck a cute place and amazing French food and wonderful service. I will go again on my birthday
Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Top class.
So glad this place is still there! Change in ownership does not seem to have diminished the quality of the food. Service was good and the wine list very adequate. I look forward to returning again someday!
Small and friendly.
Food was superb, however; the French waiter ( acted like he might be the owner) was haughty and told members at our table ( party of 6) where to place their salad plates, etc. We were dressed in very casual attire, and it appeared he made assumptions about us based on appearances. What ever the reason, he had a pretensions demeanor that was off-putting to us throughout the entirety of our dining experience. For that reason, none of us will ever go back. It's too bad, because we all thoroughly enjoyed the food!
We have been here twice, excellent food every time.
I love this treasure, it is perfect for a date!
