Food is authentic and very good. They use a wood burning tandoori clay oven, you can smell it walking in, I think it smells great. We've eaten here once but did takeout at least 10 times. The food always tastes the same, very good. I took away one star because the person that took our order on the phone was rude one of the times. Other than that, it's been good, I recommend it.

Namaste has been our go to place for authentic Indian food for several years now. We have always had great service and great food. Recently we have seen the tamarind sauce go from a sauce to tamarind colored water and the rice go from basmati to a mix of basmati and regular white rice. Please go back to the original Namaste we know and love. Thank you.

Where else will you find a clean inviting interior, welcoming guest to enjoy traditional Indian meals :) in Albuquerque...yeah i thought so...wish there were more but grateful we have Namaste Across from UNM Campus, limited free parking, but plenty of street metered parking and paid lots, handicap accessible, near bus stops and nearby bicycle racks to lock up your bike. A new feature for this neighborhood are the Pace Bicycles to rent and use temporarily allowing you to take a load off achy feet & toes, allowing you to get where you need to go quickly.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in New Mexico. I'm not a huge fan of buffet food in general but their buffet is amazing. If you order of the menu it's even better. My favorites are lamb vindaloo and the biryani.

I've been going to these fine folks for years. The restaurant has a lovely family feeling. I prefer going in the evenings when they have the full menu, the buffet isn't as good. Still tasty, just not the same. Also the to go menu is great for feeding a bunch of people because they give lots of food. Love this place!

Went with some friends who had been there before. Not the easiest place to find, but Google map directions got us there. A Himalayan restaurant with Indian selections as well. Family run, and very helpful with the unfamiliar items on the menu. We had a goat curry (excellent, and generous portion) as well as a tandor cooked chicken dish that was very good. Split an appetizer (samosas), nan, and rice--and took some of everything home with us. It is in Rio Rancho, about 10 min north AF Albuquerque proper. Comfortable atmosphere inside. Will go back--a little different (positive) spin on the Indian food available in ABQ.

This is my favorite place in the area for Indian food. Love the samosas and yellow lentils on the Friday lunch buffet. Chicken tikka masala is a favorite available each day. You will find the owners to be gracious and delightful, greeting you with, "Namaste."

A favorite in Rio Rancho, Namaste is classic north Indian cuisine. They have a tandoor and produce traditional naans, tandoori chicken, etc. The food is always fresh, the sauces spicy without too much pain, and consistently delicious. At noon they have a buffet that features several meat dishes and a nice array of vegetarian fare for a good price. If you like Indian food, this is a good place to find it.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We've visited this place a few times and tonight was the first time at their new location. It's a couple of units over in the same area and it's a lot bigger. They were outgrowing their prior location. The restaurant is a lot bigger, more room but it still retains its humble and warm atmosphere. As always the place is very clean and well maintained. Tonight was the first night I ordered myself a dinner entree. Don't let the price deter you. The servings were abundant! There's even a small disclaimer on that part of the menu stating one cannot take any leftovers home. At first I was skeptical but then the first part of the three course meal arrived. They have one of the best chicken soups I have ever had. The seasoning, the cilantro, the flavor was beyond my expectation. The main course was superb. Everything tasted so wonderful. The chicken marinated to perfection. Please make sure you come on an empty stomach because you'll need the space. Leave some room for dessert because the rice pudding was satisfying. It had its own unique flavor which follows the theme of the restaurant. I would also like to tell you how awesome the service is. Everyone, EVERYONE, is extremely nice, courteous, and helpful. Everyone had an honest smile on their face. They came around in a timely manner to refill our water, my fiancee's Chai Tea, and ensured we were having a great time. If you love Indian food you must give this place a try no matter if you live in the area or are coming in from out of town to visit.

Food was good but the older woman and our waiter were very rude. Took my plate while I was still eating and slammed the check on our table. Dirty looks during our whole meal. All other tables were being treated politely. No idea why they were being so rude to us as we were being nice. Will not be going back. It felt racial. I am Hispanic, my husband is Samoan, and my adoptive daughter who is blonde hair and blue eyes. Very strange environment like I said from the moment we walked in we were treated differently. Everyone else was treated great and greeted with “Namaste”. Were pretty much ignored.

I was ripped off!! My husband and i ordered LAMB Curry and Goat Curry. A full order on both!! I was told by a waiter that only the full order comes with naan or rice!!! He charged me for the rice, and both my husband and myself were served half portions!!!!! I am a writer for the New York Times!!!!! I will give you, such bad reviews.... Your ancestors feel it!! Im really upset.

Namaste has great food!!! The Biryanis hit one’s palate like an explosion of wonderful flavors! The Saags are delish!!!! There are a variety of vegetarian dishes. They can tailor to your level is spicyness My husband and I have been coming back to the Rio Rancho location since we moved to the area over three years ago. Their new location is more open and cozy. The service is good. The staff appreciate their customers and show it with their smiles, attention and “thank yous”. Service gets a little busy on weekends slowing down how fast the food comes out to the table but the wait is worth it. I recommend!

Love the,new space. Much lighter and roomier. The lamb kebab was VERY tough; the waitress seemed shocked, but offered no alternative. Everything else was fantastic. Service was good, owner/manager was pushing us to hurry to order, hurry to eat, hurry to pay, long before 10pm closing, but it was overall a pleasant experience. Recommend everything but the lamb!

Nice restaurant! Always lived in Rio Rancho, and had never stopped by after the pizza hut was turned into an Indian Restaurant. I reccomend the Chicken Tikka Masala (it was great!) with rice on the side, and the garlic naan. Workers were very nice and accommodating.

This past Saturday night we went in for dinner. They were really busy!! We relaxed and waited for our meal patiently as we knew it would be delicious! The Chicken Vinadaloo had just the right amount of spice to keep it interesting and the Tikka Masala's creamy tomato blend goes down so smooth. The naan was hot and fresh and disappeared rather quickly! Indian food is fragrant and filled with earthy spices, and Namaste always satisfies the appetite and the soul. The restaurant has highchairs and I believe is handicapped accessible.

Very disappointed in the take-out portion size. As seen in the picture, we ordered a full size Chicken Tikka Masala for $12.95 and the portion filled only about 1/2 of the 7" pie tin that it came in, which included a total of 8 pieces of chicken. The styrofoam container on the right was a 1/2 portion of Meatballs and included 6 meatballs, and was almost the same size as the chicken dish. Although the food was delicious, spending $30+ for two people was definitely not worth it.

First time going to an Indian-Nepalese restaurant, so went to the lunch buffet so I could try some of everything so to speak. Loved everything they offered in the buffet and was more than happy to get seconds. The rice pudding and mango pudding they had for the day was also the perfect finisher. Will definitely be adding this to my wife's and my restaurant rotation.

This is definitely one of the best Indian food places in Albuquerque. I've enjoyed their delicious lunch buffet several times, but have not made the trek over for dinner yet. They have all the typical offerings you'd expect and they do every one of them well. The service is great and their chai tea is also wonderful. The staff is friendly and keeps everything moving along, including cleaning up your plates, refilling your glasses, and turning tables for new patrons when you leave.

First time here and I found their food to be amazing..there were 3 of us and we tried about 8 different dishes. All of which were very good. The different breads were amazing also. This was a new cuisine for me and I definitely will be going again and would recommend. Even the vegetarian dishes here were very good. It is handicapped accessible and there are restrooms. There are a mix of booths and tables as well.

Really awesome indian cusine. Multiple options available for naan and curry. Mango lassie was a little dissapointing. Spice level was adequate. Large dining area available for large parties, probably no more than 24 though and you probably have to call ahead and reserve an area.

The dinner hour dies not have a buffet. Their small serving sizes are perfect to share, we ordered 2 and had some to bring home.

I have eaten here for years at their old location. Every since they moved to the old Pizza Hut building their food quality has gone downhill. Recently we made a to go order For my family. We ordered shrimp korma and received fish korma instead, It was disgusting! We also ordered lamb seekh Kabab which says it comes with onions and bell peppers. Our order have 4 tubes of ground meat on top of raw onions (not cooked) with No bell peppers. Then we had chicken tikka masala which only had 4 small pieces of chicken and the sauce was watered down with no taste. Horrible! I called the store to express my concerns and the lady only said sorry for your inconvenience and would offer any explanation or options to rectify the situation. So I had to ask to speak to a manager who didn’t introduce himself on the phone with a name or title. Told me that they would remake it which is not an option since we live 30 minutes away. He wouldn’t even offer a refund just said that they will give us a free order of shrimp korma the next time we ate at the restraint. Needless to say we won’t collect on this offer as we will never eat here again.

I have been a patron of Namaste for many years. The owners are the most wonderful people you will ever meet and make me feel like family. Both their native Napalese cuisine and there Indian dishes are outstanding. The buffet is great but if you really want a treat go for dinner! They have great chai tea and the samosas as well as the Momo are superb! I really can not say enough good things about this family owned jem. If you haven't tried it don't hesitate!

Oh this place is AWESOME. They have a rotating buffet, and some items change depending on the day of the week. DO NOY LET THAT DETER YOU THOUGH. If you like Indian food, this is the place to go. Buffet, dine in, it doesn't matter. The same amount of care and love goes into EVERY dish. I love the staff, the waiters, and even the rare occasion I see an elder family member come from the back with a hot new dish of food; its always a pleasant interaction. And in the new building, its even better.
