Mannie's on the corner of Central and Gibson is a university staple. With good verity of American, Greek and New Mexican food. Very responsible prices and good portion sizes. Family owned and operated. I liked the blueberry pancake there, I only order one and we told the waitress that the pancake kept getting smaller. She told the owner manager and he explained that only one ladle of batter is used. So my Son and I discussed it and we observed that they were using a smaller pan because the ones before that were served in a round plate and almost covered the circumference of the round plate. They did not make it right and charged us anyway for a short stack. They need to remodel and paint and the owners son needs to work on his superior attitude towards customers. Won't go back. The customer is always right and he wanted to argue with my Son. You also need to be consistent with your food.

Did I go to Manny's you bet I did I go there frequently my favorite dish unlike anyone else is probably is liver and onions and one of the few places that not only serves it but does it very very well it's convenient in Albuquerque on Central and its service and food are warm and friendly and I'm sure you're going to like it if you have the least problem speak to your waitperson they make things perfect

Their menu boasts a wonderfully varied selection. My husband and daughter both enjoyed the chicken fried steak, while I loved the breakfast quesadilla. The dining room is spacious, clean, and decorated to entertain. There's a nice outdoor patio area that seemed to be a pleasant place to dine. The food is delicious with very generous portions! My husband ordered a maple bacon green chile muffin that was absolutely delicious. That one item alone is enough reason for a crosstown journey! Every staff member that we interacted with was pleasant and conversational. We were promptly well taken care of, but never rushed. This one is on my list of places to catch a bite!

Not a bad local breakfast joint, got the homemade corned beef hash with green chili...not bad. Eggs over medium cooked perfectly. Subbed out a blueberry muffin for the obligatory toast, not bad overall though the muffin was a little gummy. I'll stop by for breakfast again next time I pass through Albuquerque, maybe post some pics next time.

If not... he makes it right. Yes... Wifi could be stronger. Love the atmosphere. Lots of students and professors. Artists and scientists... UNM and Nob Hill converge. Every colour of the universe. Welcoming. Never know who you might see enjoying a wonderful meal or just having coffee writing their scripts or novels. More than one Hollywood type goes in regularly incognito. To simply relax and enjoy the stress free patio. People watching and fresh aire - fun times.

Had lunch here and the server was horrible Vivian and Nancy did not provide good service what so ever. I waited about 20mins to be asked what I wanted to eat. So I asked an young lady named Kaylee to serve me and take my order. I think she was a cashier she was the only saving point from me walking out. The food is great and so is kaylee but the other two need a good lesson in customer service and respect.

On par with IHOP with one key difference. Their "muffins", these are really great if you like sugary dessert muffins. Everyone I know who loves this place loves it for the muffins. If you're eating here, get a muffin, ignore the pancakes (not bad, but nothing you can't make with a box of Krusteaz from the store). Everything here is cooked property and as ordered. They can serve large groups well and can handle special dietary needs within reason. Really friendly staff. Get an egg for breakfast and a muffin for dessert!

Not impressed at all. I had an omelette, which was ok. My kid had French toast, and my wife had chicken fried steak. The gravy on the steak was obviously from a packet and bland, steak was so chewy and gristly. Potatoes were completely unseasoned. The biggest insult? $48 before tip. I've never paid that much for breast spoon diner food. Will not return.

I've been to Mannies maybe 6 times in my life. I like the atmosphere and the parking especially on Nob Hill it's rare to find any place with good parking. The food here is great except it's HUGE portions. I don't like that especially because I can't finish it all then I fell like I am wasting a meal and to take it home is not an option because I don't like leftovers. Maybe one day I'll go back, but not any time soon.

My first visit here about a week ago with some friends. I had carné adovada with two over easy eggs, and a blue berry muffin. I thought the pork meat that was used, was a lean cut thus resulting a dry outcome, the red Chile sauce was watery & very bland. It needed more garlic, onion, and salt. The muffin was a nice BIG size, but also pretty bland & dry. Atmosphere of restaurant was decorated nice. I may go back.

This is now one of my favorite breakfast restaurants in Albuquerque. The menu has a wide selection of both New Mexican and Typical Breakfast fair. Their muffins are truly amazing, they're large and tasty and I've enjoyed all the flavors I've tried. The staff is attentive and friendly. I also feel the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Also surprisingly (for this part of town) their parking is easy to find and plentiful.

I enjoy breakfast here, which is wonderful since they will serve breakfast anytime. They have quite the varied menu. All delectable comfort foods. Even with the full menu, there are other choices. The menu even directs you to the breakfast specials card on the table. My last time there I opted for the Chicken Fried Breakfast Steak among the Breakfast Specials. Take my advise, if offered toast or muffin, go blue-corn muffin. It's not your typical cupcake style muffin. More like a mini-loaf of bread. Hot, warm, delicious. The coffee was great and the every-present staff always there to fill it. One day I will try the lunch options, but I haven't finished winding my way thru all the breakfast options that have piqued my attention. Don't have time to stay or want something on the menu for later? Every item is available for take-out.

Great breakfast place. Diner food. Packed on weekends. Chile was excellent--both red and green. Portions are large. My only quibble was the eggs and cheese in the omelette were not how I like them--but they were exactly how my husband likes them. I like my eggs on the soft side and cheese just melted. My husband likes his with a little bit of crust. It was THE go to breakfast place for the family's 3 day trip.
