You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is almost the best, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we may think that the evaluation is very reliable. If people have bothered to value when they are pleased, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is included in the category of French restaurant.
Romantic and quaint dinner for two. The food is GREAT. PRICES ARE GOOD ON YOYR WALLET!!
This place serves the best omelette in town! I typically go for the spinach and goat cheese... it’s packed with spinach and cooked in the true French fashion where the egg is not overdone but velvety inside... you almost think it’s an added cream sauce. It’s a generous portion and it comes with a beautiful side salad and the house Dijon dressing is awesome and not sweet! Plus, it’s under 9 bucks!! It’s an exceptional value. The coffee is terrific and it’s probably the only place I can think of in town for salad Nicoise... that’s quite a delight too. If I ate mussels and fries, which looks awesome, i’d be all over it. The only thing that could be a drawback, this is a slower dining experience... once I waited 2 hours for my omelette (that’s not typical) but quality... it is always worth the wait... so be sure to take good company and enjoy the old town experience because that is definitely part of the fun!!
Food was okay, service was good.... But they did not serve soda from the fountain. Soda is served in cans that are not Refrigerated. However they did provide ice in a glass, but it waters down the soda. They did not serve real honey, they serve little packets. They were out of soup, which was the reason we wanted to eat at this restaurant. For the price of the meal, customers should be catered to with the little things that mater most...
A real piece of France in the middle of NM. Good affordable french wine list too. We had a wonderful time.
Great fresh food.Wonderful.staff Best Crepes in town
Stupid good. Go here. You will not be disappointed.
Bread was heavy and dense. How can you call yourself a French restaurant and have bad bread?
My favorite in Albuquerque since 1977.
Smoked salmon crepes were delicious, also liked that it wasn’t a ton of food. The mini dessert sampler is a nice idea for trying different desserts.
Took my adult children there for lunch. It was delicious and there were many good choices.
The quiche is delicious, we like the dessert crepes too.
Amazing food! I’ve been coming here for years and there are times when I crave it. Don’t be intimidated by the quiet atmosphere. The waiters, busers, chef and owner are humble and kind people. It’s not a snotty place and is great home style French cooking!
The food was good and the ambiance even better. Truly, it was one of the best restaurant atmospheres I've ever experienced-- nice and cozy with a nice warm feel.
Great food and beautiful ambiance.
The food is okay... But not great. Also, they got our order wrong!
Charming local, delicious food consistently good.
You will have a difficult time carrying a conversation once the food arrives.
Wow olive garden...has got nothing on this little bit amazing Restaurant!!!
Great atmosphere and excellent food. The wait staff was new but well trained and very nice. Must try the French onion soup. The only bad thing I can say is that the place is small and gets very hot once the kitchen gets going. But it's worth it for the experience. Will definitely be back.
Best French cuisine I have ever had.
(Translated by Google) Very good service! Good French dishes at a rate perfectly correct! We were in lack of good crepes, thank you La Crepe Michel! (Original) Très bon service! Bons plats français à tarif tout à fait correct! On était en manque de bonnes crêpes, merci La Crêpe Michel!
Love it.
Best French food in town! Make sure not to skip the onion soup.
Best spot in Albuquerque for great food in a romantic setting. Try the three cream crepe!!!!
We had a wonderful family birthday party here!! Everything was excellent! The food was great and they have great service. Highly recommend.
Food is excellent and customer service is great.
Crepes in ways I never thought of. Gluten free. Definitely returning.
Went for lunch on a Wednesday. The French onion soup is to die for! Also had a light fresh delicious salad. Prices are right. Ambiance is amazing. Love the tree inside! Hidden gem, good way to escape the Chile and Chile and scene in old town.
Quaint place. Nice food and wine.
Best crepe menu and very tasty.
Perfect spot for delicious crepes, mussels, best onion soup too. And very romantic.
Real French food in Albuquerque? Yep! Make sure to sit in the patio for great ambiance.
Really enjoy the food, however the service could use improvement.
Really nice authentic French food.
Great tasting crepes and excellent service! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal! Tres bien!
Took 1 hour to get 2 crepes on Saturday at 11am with an almost empty place. Then the food that came was sour flavors not authentic tasting at all.
Moules (mussels) in cream sauce were wonderful. Fritos were better than McDonald's. The Muscadet was superb with the mussels. Crepe for dessert with banana and honey was light and delicious. Highly recommend this French restaurant.
The sweetest place to share a meal with friends. If you are looking for a unique atmosphere this is it! Plus great food!
Best French food I've had in Albuquerque Reminds me of Toronto's French neighborhood restaurants. That said, there remains room for improvement. I loved it, but the sauce for the escargot was better in Toronto. The crepe, however, was as …
Wonderful crepes and yummy buckwheat crepes for the gluten free crowd. I'm not even avoiding gluten and found then nutty tasting and ordered them to be used for my entrée of seafood crepes and my chocolate crepe dessert. Left pleasantly full but not overstuffed. Reasonable prices and cozy atmosphere.
Nice atmosphere in the old town of Albuquerque.
Savory food, good service, intimate atmosphere. The best French food in Albuquerque!
This restaurant is a hidden gem inside Albuquerque's Old Town. It's a pretty small, cozy, and intimate restaurant, with a very cute enclosed patio as one of the dining rooms. A great selection of savory and desert crepes, coffees, wines, and other beverages, and traditional French food- including delicious escargot. On top of all that, fantastic service! Highly recommend it.
Amazing, affordable crepes with a cozy, intimate setting! While I've never spoken French with the servers, the food is delicious and reminiscent of real French cuisine
I come here every time I'm in Albuquerque, it's a really intimate and lovely spot.
The best place to dine in Old Town
My favorite restaurant in ABQ, delicious food, warm service, and a historical homey environment!
I love this place. The food is SUBURB! It is very cozy and romantic with fireplaces.....especially in winter months. It is expensive...but you get what you pay for. Great for special occasions like Valentine's Day. Make reservations guys and you can't go wrong!
This place is small (cozy) but the food is very good. Best french restaurant I've found in ABQ.
Cute place. Great food.
It was recommended to me as a must when in Albuquerque. I can see why, the food was superb and I had a lovely conversation with our very professional Waiter Larry. No need to rush either as the environment was charming and no-one is pushing you out the door to get the next table. I'm a fan now and continue to return.
Excellent food. Lovely atmosphere.
Excellent food
Nice and cozy. The back room has a big skylight so you can look at the stars while you eat. The crepes are delicious and all the sauces are house made, including the mustard. Their kir is also spot on.
I love eating at this place !! Samon sandwich is the best
Delicious food, great atmosphere, fantastic service.
I can't remember the last time I didn't want to eat the food in front of me at a restaurant. I'm very lenient with food, especially French. I was excited to walk into Crepe Michel, especially seeing the understated decor and open kitchen that supported the claims of authenticity from reviewers online. The disappointment of the food was only amplified by this. I ordered a mushroom crepe, or crepe aux campignon, planning to order more after. It was a crepe folded like a taco over "wild" mushrooms and goat cheese. The "wild" mushrooms looked and tasted suspiciously like portobello and oyster mushrooms, with the stems chopped up and thrown in too as if to flaunt their use of the cheapest ingredients they could get away with. If you're going to put goat cheese in crepes it's usually best to add it at the end, cold. If you get it hot it should at least be creamy and fresh, but here is was hot and grainy. It coated the rubbery mushrooms, and the whole crepe was soaking in a pool of water and oil. The crepe itself might have been good but it was too wet and full of gross filling to tell. On the side was entirety unseasoned boiled carrots and green beans, also sitting in the puddle. I wouldn't have paid $1 for it, much less $13. Hopefully their dessert crepes are better, but I would never come back for dinner.
If authentic French cuisine is what you want in Albuquerque, this is your place. Say "Hello," to Michel in the kitchen as you go by.
Literally amazing cooking. Best desserts in abq
Tasty food, great desserts, good choice of wines. Their house wine is pretty good too. My recommendation for entrée - saumon au champagne.
Wonderful
Go 2-3 times per year for last 11 years. Never had bad experience. Fillet De boeuf is awesome. Crepes are good too. Deserts are great. Service is ok to good, kind of depends on your server. Servers have longevity. One served us very well for over 6 years. Two rooms to eat in. One with tree is good in summer. Fireplace room is good in winter. Reservations kind of needed to pick room or specific table.
It was fun but the staff was just so slow
Nice atmosphere and very well prepared French food
An Abq. institution been there serving sublime French food for 40 yrs. Well curated wine list.
Great well cooked food. Tastes like a French country restaurant. It's tucked away in old Town but worth your discovery.
What a lovely French Country experience! The decor of the refurbished vintage cottage La Crepe Michel occupies is both elegant and eclectic with a convincing French accent, setting the stage for a marvelous menu of authentic French dishes (bring your LaRousse Dictionnaire français or use Google Translate if the names seem daunting). The chef practices an old-fashioned approach to French cooking for American diners that will exceed your daily calorie limit if you're counting, so don't count! Diners accustomed to adventurous new styles of French cuisine might find these dishes a little nostalgic, but nonetheless delicious. Desserts that you'd expect from a French restaurant and properly snooty service round out the perfect experience. Parking is convenient and plentiful. Bonus: La Crepe Michel is in a small shopping area replete with unique, interesting, and quirky small shops. Schedule time before or after for browsing nearby.
Charming atmosphere, incredible crepes. So delicious.
Wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, the service is attentive and prompt, and the food is delicious. La Crepe is a standout among Albuquerque restaurants to me. I will certainly be returning when I can.
The escargot tasted amazing. Much akin to garlic mushrooms and the texture wasn't to bad either. 10/10 would eat again, however the service was slow! But I think we came during rush hour so I will try here again at a slower time to reevaluate, as is everything aside from the slow service was phenomenal.
The place was delicious. La Crepe is tucked away in old town, and is a breath of fresh air. If you're looking for something other than Mexican food, I highly recommend La Crepe. This a place for a nice light feeling meal that you can make super filling if you get an appetizer as well as dessert. The staff is super friendly, and the service was top notch. I think this is my new favorite spot. It is very small, but it is quaint and charming in it's own right. I will make sure to stop by again before we leave.
We had a great experience here! Best French cuisine I've had since visiting France. Great service and impeccable food. Worth the prices! Would definitely recommend.
Quaint and delicious
Lovely spot in old town. We went here for some dessert crepes and were not disappointed! They were delicious and our server was genuinely friendly. We will definitely return to try the dinner menu as well.
Famous appetizer tastes great! Salad olive with seed in it, special pan seared sea bass has small bones in it. That's why I took one star off.
Terrible. Truly. The food was poor quality and tasteless. 34 dollars for a steak that was a cheap cut and tenderized. Even the bread was terrible. Stale, dense and tasted like cardboard.
Wow, what a find in Old Town! Good luck finding it if you go at night, though and have never been in the area before, but it's worth it. A little pricey but the quality holds up so again, it's worth it. A great place to find some really nice authentic French cuisine (even some Brittany, FR cider) in the heart of ABQ. Waitstaff was very friendly and attentive as well as knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend this place if you're ever wanting French cuisine in the ABQ area.
Always excellent food and service, an institution.
Fun friendly and small local atmosphere make this restaurant fun and the food is authentic and tasty!
Needs a reservation on Sundays
Always a delight
Cozy quiet cafe with friendly staff. Great crepe selection.
Delicious food, exquisite service, fair prices. There are outdoor and indoor tables. Romantic and simple. Large variety of crepes, savoury and sweets. Also good classic entrees as salmon or filet mignon.
Fantastic sweet and savory crapes. Even for a Sunday there wasn't a crowd and was able to be seated right away. Great service.
Very nice date place. Some of the food items are better than others. Get the salmon for sure.
Truly exceptional! The food satisfies you without fillers and excess. The meats are tender and the sauces are rich with a myriad of distinct flavors. The Onion soup was so authentic that I almost lost my sh!# right in the restaurant.
I love this place. Not easy to find, but well worth it.
Delicious!! The smoked trout and salad appetizer is a full tasty meal.
Wonderful hole in the wall restaurant with delicious food. I love it. Very nice experience to discover this sweet spot. Desserts are amazing.
Delicious, and quiet atmosphere. Very nice.
Best chocolate crepe, chocolate mousse and creme de caramel. Also outstanding decaf coffee. Loved the fire, table, wait staff....we felt like we were in Paris.
Great food
Fantastic food and we adore everything! Wine is awesome!!
Visiting Albuquerque with my sister and mother, we joined our aunts and cousin for ladies brunch at La Crepe Michel. We arrived early and were seated quickly. Our server was very patient, the food was delightful, and the ambiance was lovely. We all had savory crepes, and some had the soup of the day, plus my sister and I had Mimosas. We were all satisfied. What a great way to start our day in Old Town Albuquerque!
Escargot ... Crepe aux fruit de mere ... WOW
(Translated by Google) Mussels and fries (Original) Moules and frites
Loved the food! A bit of a wait for the foos, but we didn't mind.
The crepes are amazing, chef Claudia and her staff are wonderful
Recently went here for a date night. It is a magical small place tucked well out of the way. Crepes were amazing and everything was fresh and wonderful. We will be back soon.
Fabulous! Authentic French - highly recommend
Food was amazing sadly the waitress paid no attention even when i tried to get her attention. sat with an empty drink almost my entire meal. had gluten free crepês
We have been going to La Crepe Michel for over 8 years now. We've never been disappointed.
worth every penny
Wonderful food and service. Great prices
Great Food and Service, Very Kind Staff and Wonderful Owner.
This was such a treasure. The food was fab and the atmosphere was excellent.
I've been there twice. Being a vegetarian, i was pleased with the vegetable quiche (1st time) vegetable crepe (2nd time). A friend of mine had the salmon and cream cheese crepe which she described as delicious.
Amazing place! Very cozy. Friendly servers. This place probably has the best crepes I've ever had! Desserts are delicious!
Small modest, nice staff, French menu.
Good food and service. A bit pricey but worth it
Excellent food, excellent crepes!!!! HORRIBLE service. We waited forever for food, asked for bread, drinks they never came. Brought us the wrong food ........
The food was delicious!
Cozy little place in old Town.
Nice French restaurant
Outstanding, authentic French cuisine in an cozy, intimate setting. What a find in Albuquerque!
La Crepe Michel is hands down one of my all time favorite restaurants. Ridiculously good service, even better food and a quaint cozy location in the heart of old town. I can't wait to go back.
Nice and quiet restaurant...try the chocolate mousse
Delicious food, both savory and sweet. The escargot was great, the pork and beef crepes we're both fantastic, and the pear/vanilla ice cream desert crepe was amazing. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was great and our server was able to offer some great wine pairing options for each course! And if it couldn't get any better, the prices were incredibly reasonable! I'll definitely be going back and you should too!
Fantastico lugar, comida deliciosa espacios romanticos para las parejas 'te encantara la vista, el gusto y el servicio. Precios razonables.
This is a real French restaurant, ya'll. :)
Ah, que c'est delicieux! mangez ici!! love this little, exquisite restaurant!
We had a large group, and yet all our orders were well prepared, served with a smile, and were delicious. None of us had crepes, but the various quiches, and other entrees were lovely.
Honestly, first time eating here and everything was wonderful from the time we were greeted to the time we left. The best Filet Mignon I’ve ever eaten. Excellent place to bring a date. My wife and I had a very positive experience, look forward to go back. Food quality and service were awesome... price was the least of my worries.
Wonderful place, we went late, the service was very good, and welcoming even though we went in late.
Food was delicious and the staff was fantastic!
Yummy relaxed hide away, wild Cod, orange crepe for dessert, delish. Will return!
Primarily came for the desert crepes (delicious!), but found the food there suprisingly good! Service was very loving and professional and although the place may seem a little small, the atmosphere charming. Would have never thought such a fantastic place hid in such a corner, so next time you visit old town, make sure you stop by here! I know my wife, baby son and I can't wait to! (Just make sure you check their hours of operation before giving them a visit!)
The best ,Claudie your are wonderful we love you
Awesome food
Delicious Crepes!!
If you love French food this is the place to go give it a try great place great great prices needless to say great food
This is the best foodie experience in Albuquerque. Having been eating here for twenty years. We live in Silver City 5+ hours away but it is worth the DRIVE. Seriously. If you have never been there this is a MUST to go try.
Lovely lunch from start to finish, both food and service.
When I saw the handwritten posted daily specials, I told my husband it would be good to go here; the handwriting was definitely European and indeed, the chef is French. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the lunch special of moules (mussels) et frites. I had a fresh and tasty salad. We sat outside, which was lovely. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. We would definitely go back.
Been going to here since i was 5 years old with my mom, claudia the owner and chef is a great person and awesome chef! The food is so delicious no matter what option you pick. I get the French onion soup and the spinach crepe every time i go though.. can't go wrong with those two..
Excellent food, nice wait staff.
Wonderful food, excellent service, romantic atmosphere and reasonable prices. Best french food in abq.
Very small..only 5 tables with one waiter. Cozy, welcoming. Perfect little spot. Crepes for every taste. Great prices. Glad it's not bigger. Would go back.
The food was delicious, service was excellent. We loved it!
Great food, awesome service. :-)
Food was very good, service great. Really enjoy this small restaurant in Old Town.
It's hard to recover after finding a hair in your salad but it proceeded to get worse. My wife and I received the wrong entrees and when the waiter refused to believe it he pawed his fingers through the crepe to see what was inside. I had another table's entree and my wife had mine that the waiter just fingered through. The three of us at our table finished about a quarter of our meals...overcooked mush inside a crepe with absolutely no flavor....I would say that it's one of the worst dining experiences we've had in a very long time! I seriously doubt that the 4 star rating is accurate.
Incredible, definitely headed there again
Would not recommend. Food was fair at best plus fireplace had backed up and was very smokey in the restaurant.
