I love the vegan options! Lots of sprouts, bok choy, cabbage, and more. Very happy customer! Keep in mind that you can always order from the menu! Great options on the menu. Also if you'd like to try authentic Chinese food you can ask for the authentic Chinese menu. Very tasty! The amount of tourism that comes through this restaurant in the summer is off the charts, so you know you'll always have fresh food on the buffet that hasn't been setting out all day.

This was honestly way overpriced for the quality of the food. $94 for 4 adults and 1 kid and a lot of the trays in the buffet didn't even have food. The cucumbers and crab weren't good to eat and the table was dirty when we came in, even with the restaurant being completely empty.

I'm not always a fan of buffets. Usually the food is mediocre to keep the buffet affordable. This buffet is one of the best ones around as far as quality of food goes. The food is hot, tastes fresh. Sushi is usually good as well. Facility is clean and the price point is great. Children are charged based on their age.

Well, as an Asian, sometimes craving for Asian food. When all my family greedy for Asian food, I located this eatery within seconds. First, l do really appreciate not using MSG! Their food selection offer were not top notch, but were fresh and was tasty. Second, for lunch buffet price, don’t think is reasonable. If the price per person was under $10.00, would’ve been perfect. Third, when I enter this restaurant, the owner offered either to buffet or a la carte. Was wondered why, even though the restaurant had frequent customers traffic, then when I jot down their menu choices and prices, the menu settings were out of my league for money. A la carte menu prices were bit higher than I expected and compare to other Chinese restaurants. The service levels were attentive by the owner. The restroom and the dining area definitely needed to be clean thoroughly. For Chinese food craving, this restaurant is okay for your trip.

My experience here is always great!!! Great fresh food and friendly table service! They have many great selections of traditional Chinese food and delicacies, but my favorite is picking my own ingredients and having them grill my selection of veggies and protein to perfection! With a sushi bar and ice cream bar for dessert what else could you ask for! Most definitely a 5 out of 5 stars!!!

Presently surprised by the food. Good price. Even though there were a lot of people and a long line, it went fast and were were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. FYI, you go to the desk and pay for the meal before you eat. We didn't see any signs letting us know and the lobby was full of people standing in lines and waiting around to be seated in a very unorganized way. The woman at the register didn't exactly understand what we were asking her but after a minute it was apparent we were to pay first. Throughout our meal the line for ice cream remained about 10 minutes long, which is a little much in my opinion and or kiddo didn't want to stand in it. The sushi was surprisingly good for a buffet and they even had small steaks cooked to order.

I've been coming here for years. It definitely needs a good clean from top to bottom. Last time we visited the place, the floor was so sticky that it sounded as if we were walking on sticky fly tape. The food used to be good and fresh, but now the items are over cooked, chewy, sloppy looking. There are always kids running, screaming, throwing food on the floor. This place needs an overhaul before I would consider returning.

Curry chicken from menu tasted good, vegetables freshly cooked. But the buffet food looked to be there since a while and was not very fresh. At 8pm we were asked if we are done with the buffet and since we said yes they immediately started cleaning (gloves+soap.....) the buffet right next to the place we were sitting. Totally ignoring our presence. Strange experience.

Second time I gave this place a chance. The rice wasn’t much of a fried rice with veggies but more like steak white rice. Most of the meat taste dry and especially the chicken wings seem to be from yesterday and dry. Chow mein was a joke and they should definitely consider a different recipe. Our waitress was in top of our drinks and very courteous.

I just ate at this buffet with my parents for dinner. We were really impressed with the variety of food (spring rolls, sushi burrito, two types of fried shrimp, vegetable tempura, various mousses for dessert just to name a few) and the authentic great taste. The lo mein ~and almost everything else~ tastes just like it does at a restaurant in Chinatown. In addition, customer service was exceptional. The server checked on us in a timely manner and made sure we had enough napkins, ice, etc and were enjoying our time. Even the decor and setting is lovely. The owners and chefs focus first and foremost on quality and it really shows. We felt we were at a fancy restaurant rather than a typical buffet. Highly recommend ❤️

I like a good buffet, and wanted to like this ssf one more. Sadly my esposa is highly sensitive to onion and peppers. We told our cashier and she then appeared quite annoyed. Very little to choose from for a $16 buffet and the salad bar was pathetic. My 13 year-old son took one bite of a deep fried refrigerator biscuit and one bite of a fried wonton and wouldn't eat anything else. Go to McDonalds.

I would say this Restaurant is average. I always look at how well they take care of the Restaurant as well as the quality of food served. Hong King Buffet is and all you can eat and the food was good. They had a large selection of items. There were NO signs stating the name of the food item. The Carpet was filthy which made me think of how clean their kitchen was. Next time I might try a different Buffet.

I have to say that the food here is fine/average, I will give it 3 of 5. The two star is for the service. There is no particular behavior that I could name for good service. No greetings, unwelcome faces (whoever works there look like very down or mad), even rude. I rarely rarely go to a buffet, and this is the worst I have ever been. The sushi was dry, the rice was hard, the egg drop soup was way to thick and the corn tasted like it was soaked in dish water. I was so disappointed. Left feeling like I wanted to throw up. Hands down the worst Chinese buffet I ever went to. Overpriced, stale food, obviously warmed over several times. Egg Drop soup had big globs of jello like material floating in it. I have to avoid spicy food- everything on the buffet had pepper all over it, I couldn't eat any of it, but of course they made me pay for it. After reading reviews of other customers getting sick there I tried to contact the health department in Jackson- good luck. Their visitors bureau ignored requests for contact with health authorities. We plan to avoid not only this place but also the entire Jackson area- it is pretentious, overpriced and as we discovered the local authorities couldn't care less about visitors other than their money.

BUT.. so the doors were locked when I got there at 3pm for the buffet but after calling and knocking on the door it was answered and I was handed a phone.. to the owner that could speak english.. I was the only one there.. but she dropped everything got to the restraunt and offered me anything that would normally be on the buffet fresh... food was good just needed more time to explain what I wanted they just brought out a few of the popular items

I should have read the reviews here before I went in. Warmed over food that left my stomach turning and… well the rest I will spare you from and leave to your imagination. The fact that the place was empty at 12:30pm should have been enough to tip me off but I was hungry. An empty restaurant with a buffet is asking for trouble. They have no income so they don't put fresh food out and no one is there to eat the old stuff so it sits under the lamps. Lesson learned

Best customer service I have had in Jackson. Susan the manager was the server for my mother an I. I never got below a half cup on my drink before she was there to refill it. They were out of a few things because we came and a very slow time at the end of the day. The things I was out of they made special for me with still just charging the $14.95 for the all you can eat. I have no clue why there are bad reviews about this place. This is some of the best all you can eat food I have had. Maybe people where expecting something like a Michigan Star dinning? I would trade the amazing customer service I had this evening for any fancy dinner. When I come back to Jackson I will be sure to returm.

In my opinion, this place is one of the best buffet-style Chinese-food restaurants in the northern half of the state. Sadly, it's also one of the last. The inside is huge, featuring two main seating areas on opposite sides of the building that still remain close enough to where the food is located. They feature several different styles of food, from American (including prime rib and/or tenderloin on weekends), regular Chinese-food, sushi, and a soup/salad bar, to a full dessert bar with jello, various puddings, and ice cream. Free refills on non-alcoholic beverages and they have beer and wine, too. Lunch is cheap, with evenings being a bit more, and Fri/Sat/Sun evenings are a buck more than those. Located just south of where Phenix/Park ave. crosses Cranston St. Adjacent to a liquor store on Cranston St. Parking is in the rear of the building.

Of you've been to a good buffet then this place will disappoint you. Low quality food. Dirty floors. Everything out dated and old. Food wasn't cooked properly at the hibachi. Sushi selection is so little an they were the size of a nickel. With the growth in Albuquerque and the pretty exterior they need to invest in the inside. A huge renovation is much needed.

We had exactly same experience two weeks ago as Ruichun Chen. Please don't get fooled by its name since it is not a real Hong Kong style cuisine. You might have buffet there to fill your stomach ( I am not sure either) but never order any dishes because the price and the quality, quantity and taste don't match at all. It is terribly awful! We felt we were robbed! No matter you have other choices or not, never ever go there!

Like other customer mentioned we experienced "tourist menu " as well. Very high price for no quality. Some of our people had buffet instead which the food was old and unfresh. With such low quality food when they were out of noodles we were requiring little more they refused. Owner is extremely rude and aggressive, rushing our order with non stop impulsive "what else?! What else?! " expressions during the entire conversation. We were hungry so we put up with it, we should have left. Adding 18% tip automatically to the bill when we were treated like homeless begging for food was unacceptable. Why this place is still in business is a mystery.

Wow! The choices are vast. There are three long tables, 2 sided with everything from Asian to America and Mexican from which to choose. They have a sushi bar and a steak grill as well. Desserts are also plentiful and delicious. Fresh fruit is also available. There is a constant flow food from the kitchen to the tables, so you know everything is freshly made.

Largest Chinese buffet in town. Tons and tons of variety, including a made to order grill with sushi bar! The deserts include scoop ice cream, with 6 flavors. Huge fruit bar, 4 different jellos, donuts, cookies, cobbler. The grill has selections of chicken, pork, beef, shrimp or all of the above. Can be paired with rice or noodles, pineapple, 5 different sauces and a variety of vegetables. The sushi bar isn’t the greatest but it usually has 3 or 4 different kinds of sushi to choose from.

For this review I will compare Hong Kong to Sweet Tomatoes as they are both adjacent to one another and have opposite pros and cons. Hong Kong and Sweet Tomatoes both have a similar price. Hong Kong has a wide variety of food, with some American and Mexican choices. The hibachi is great for the picky eaters who know exactly what they want. There is sushi, but because I don't eat sushi I cannot attest to its quality. However, it is likely like the rest of the food. Most of the food is low quality due to the variety of the food. Many of the dishes do not taste like intended. The silverware goes through a rapid cycle, and today I wasted a perfectly good cup of egg drop soup when what I thought was one spoon was two stuck together with some raspberry-looking liquid. However, for all it's flaws, I find myself coming back again and again. For large crowds, the variety is perfect if price is not very important. I personally like the brisket (The smaller pieces are best) and the spring rolls. They also spare no expense on the ice cream; it's Creamland, not soft serve. TL;DR Hong Kong: Variety Sweet Tomatoes: Quality

This restaurant will SCAM you! They asked us where we were from and we told them we were visiting from out of state. They then gave us a menu with ridiculously expensive prices. The cheapest item on the menu was $16. As we were waiting for our food we looked over at another table and found out that they have three different menus! They all have the same foods but were significantly cheaper. When the food did come out however, the portions were awful! We paid $35 for an Elk Stir fried dish and they only gave us a couple ounces of elk meat! And to top it off, they charged an 18% gratuity! DO NOT EAT HERE, THEY WILL SCAM YOU!

Pretty decent diversity and good quality of Americanized Chinese food that characterizes Chinese buffets. However, every time we go there, our family feels like garbage afterwards (headaches, fatigue, etc), which is not always true of buffets for us. Pretty sure there's some MSG or something going on there...

this place has a warm spot in my heart honestly, i took my partner here for our first date, and the fish in the lobby is what sparked an interest for us. we kept laughing and talking in the lobby because of the fish the food was AMAZING the staff is friendly! i absolutely LOVE this place.
