At the moment the firm gets a score of 4.4 stars out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 1219 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is really good, and it's based on a high number of reviews, so we can say that the valuation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are happy, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to write reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is classified in the category of Hamburger restaurant.
Great burgers & and the portion of fries were huge. Service was good. Only issue was a couple flies were bugging me. Not a deal breaker for me but I'd upgrade this rating to 5 stars if they at least showed some attempt to address the flies.
Great service and great food, server is always attentive for our table of six.
Great prices! Awesome food! Fantastic selection of local breweries finest! Try the zucchini fries and you will not regret your favorite flavor of shakes! Highly recommend this place!
Everything is made from scratch and isn't greasy. Fresh ingridients and cooked to order, tastes phenomenal and won't hurt the wallet. The service is outstanding. Being from Michigan, I'd recommend this to anyone in, near or traveling to Albuquerque. The only downside is that I can't come back sooner! 5 stars across the board.
Delicious beer, hamburger and fries... One of the best I've ever had
I love the burgers here, alwYs stacked hugh with great ingredients. Sweet potato fries is also one of my favorites here, get them every time!
waited for a week before typing this review. food was ok, but service was miserable, it was literally 30 minutes(yes I time these things) between the time we ordered and the food arrived. Our waitress never appeared during that half hour. I had to flag down a different waitress to get our waitress. When she came she said the food was just ready now. Truth? Jeez, I don't know, how could I? afterwards, I still had to flag her down to get a to-go box and the bill. the food would have to be great to get past service like this, but it was merely OK, I'd opt for 5 star burgers
Called looking for a job and was laughed at and hung up on. Rude management. Will not be back.
Their burgers were prepared well and they give large portion sizes. They give you an entire plate of fries with your food. It was super delicious. I had to get the one with green chiles of course. I recommend the cucumber yogurt dip with the sweet potato fries as well.
You would never know from the outside but this is a crazy good burger place. I recommend the green chilli
Great home tasting burger. Fresh ingredients, delicious desserts and the best damn zucchini fries in town.
Our favorite burger joint...and great salads.
Always 5 Stars the most amazing Burger! Great beer great patio great service, highly recommend
Most burger joints are the same not this place. One of the best burgers in Albuquerque.
Loved that we can sit outside or inside. They turned the heater on for us so we can eat outside because we had so many people with us mostly hipper kids..lol food was good and ready quickly.
Good was great. Coffee milk shake was awesome.
Seared tuna sandwich was delicious. Hand cut fries were on point too!
Was recommended by an Abq local to try this, wasn't disappointed! Their signature holy cow burger is a different beast than the industrial taste of the burger chains. Crispy bacon, beautiful cheese melt, a juicy medium-rare thick patty and extra halapenos for me was a delicious combo of textures and flavors! Craft beers are good too. Small, no-frills place always teeming with crowd. I love it!
HOLY. COW. The food here is delicious. The service is fast and friendly. Ive had something different each time and it was awesome - each time. Even if your not into cow, there are a few veggie options (which I think are better than the beef burgers)! The sweet potato fries are YUM! If you're looking for a really good burger this is the place. The shakes are good, too!!
The server did a great job. He recommended medium rare and the kitchen actually managed to cook it medium rare, so props for that. I had the jalapeno burger, and it was a good burger. Would try something different next time. As a group, we had one of every side. The sauce for the zucchini fries is very good. The sauce for the sweet potato fries is not good. All of the sides were tasty though. They cost extra, not included with the burger. One side is enough for two people to share. Clean bathrooms. Good for a baby. Good for a group.
Best tasting food. Best Customer Service. I would highly recommend to all my friends.
Chose my birthday lunch spot based on pet friendliness and this place set the bar! My pup was greeted with a water bowl and even snagged himself a little treat! Our server, Francisco was fricking amazing! Loved the green chili cheeseburger
Excellent Green Chile Cheeseburger. Not as spicy as I typically like it, but for the average person, it had a good kick. Great speedy service. They were very welcoming to someone new to the area.
Not good at all. I had the fish and chips with zucchini fries. The fish was supposed to be beer-battered;well it had absolutely no flavor! I did not taste beer or garlic or even salt. It wa so bad! They didn’t season it at all. The zucchini fries were bad as well. They also had no flavor or spices on them and the so called Parmesan batter just slid off and I was just left wiling slimy greasy zucchini slices.
.literally have had every burger on the menu, excellent service and food, never have ever been disappointed... dang it kinda wanna go there now..
Despite them not having a few burger toppings I wanted, this is a seriously good burger. Huge pile of fries. Great shake. Good beer selection. Definitely worth trying.
Huge portions of well prepared burgers and fries at a fair price.
We came in out of town, stopped in to eat and was not impressed, our waitress never came back to refill our drinks and we had to chase her down for our ticket. The burgers were dry and to tough to eat, i was unable to eat my food at all and they would not take it off my ticket. So i paid $15 for a buger i couldn't eat and bad service we wont be back.
The food is absolutely delicious. The wait time not so good. Glad we did not eat there on a busy day. Waiter was courteous, but really needs to be attentive based on the wait time. Not sure we would go back and wait so long to eat! Grass Burger sure outshines Holy Cow based on the wait time!
Excellent burgers and fries (including zucchini fries). The salted caramel shake is incredible! A bit on the pricey side, but I think it's worth it.
I found the food to be very good. I had the blue cheese burger and got the zucchini sticks as a side, was great all around. My daughters each had the children's cheese burger. They both commented that they enjoyed them. Wide had the fish and chips. She commented that the fish was good but did not enjoy the sauce pairing. Overall service was good and the restraint gives off a nice dinner like appeal. Overall I would recommend this delicious burger joint.
Definitely wasn’t bad for the first time, it was priced reasonable. But everything needed salt. It took a while to get any service. We didn’t get the attention we would’ve liked from our server. Probably won’t come back. I might though.
Delicious holy cow burger, sweet potato fries, onion rings, zucchini fries!
Overrated, greasy, and hard to eat. So what is the point of ordering a burger if it is so tall you can’t even pick it up to eat it? Burgers aren’t supposed to be 8-10” tall. Your best case scenario is to smash it down with your hand, get grease all over yourself, then cut it in half and hope it doesn’t fall apart. And greasy meat doesn’t mean it’s better meat. Greasy meat means cheaper meat. You think they are using a 93/7 quality beef? Nope, if it’s dripping then it’s cheaper and fattier meat. There are a lot of other good burgers out there.
The waitresses are snotty! After we saw that we left without ordering a thing and went to the Owl Cafe and they are so happy and helpful there. Our waitress deserved the very nice tip we left. We don't need snotty spoiled waitresses! I'd fire them on the spot!!!
So, this was my first time here. We really don't venture downtown much. Absolutely glad we did! It was my daughters birthday and there 10 of us there (plus a puppy) and our server was the best! Food and service will bring us back.
Been there many times, always great food.
The burger was super wet. It was hard to enjoy. The meat wasn't seasoned very well. The green chile made up for it a little. The fries were delicious. I'll give it another shot next time I'm in Albuquerque.
Great burgers. Great service. Gotta have zucchini fries.
I had the meatless burger and it was amazing. It was filling and taste delicious. The service was so so.
HOLY COW!! Burgers were very good, fresh and seasoned just right. It was a big burger but my family didn't have any problem finishing it at all. The fries were crispy and served with a good portion size to share. The goat beet salad was delicious with a very good serving size. The zuccinne fries were aswell very crispy on the outside but when bit into very fresh. Also this place has one of the best oreo milkshake I have ever tried. The customer service was amazing and overall a great experience!!
Always a great experience here and food is awesome!
We really enjoy Holy Cow. The burgers are super; everything we've had there has been really good actually. Plus they have a special treat for our dog! The service can be a little uneven though, so 4 stars seems right.
Food and drinks are always delicious here. I enjoy the atmosphere and the staff are always courteous.
Best burger I have ever had; fried avocado burger!! We had a party of 19 from DFW. She took the kids orders 1st so that their food would come out 1st.
Always amazing, one of our favorite places in ABQ!
There is only one server. And she was way overworked and not very attentive. The milkshakes and malts cost more than what they are worth.
Great burger good service
My hunny and grandson had burgers. I did not eat. But they looked good.
Food was outstanding but service was extremely slow. Took a long time to get our order. There was a couple next to us that never got served, they gladly gave up and left.
The service is wonderful and the burgers are amazing! I ❤❤❤ this place!
This is one of the three best burgers in Albuquerque, done! The best burger rotates depending on who's making them, how plentiful the toppings, etc. This burger can be first-third any day of the week. I'm not gonna rank it, or give you the other two, do your homework
Very good burgers and sides, excellent specialty flavors and high quality food. Too noisy restaurant.
Love this place are frist time there amazing
This is the real best burger in ABQ. Fresh meat, cooked to order and piled high with all the classic toppings or some suprises. The zucchini fries are amazing and are more like wedges than fries. Great selection of craft beers to enjoy on the covered patio.
We are new to the area and were looking for a good burger joint. Well, we found it !!! The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection. The zucchini fries were the best I've ever had . The onion rings were crispy and the onion inside cooked just right. Good service, cool place.
Great burgers, and fries. They have a decent selection local beers. Our service was a little slow but it was a busy time on a busy day and our server was very friendly. I will definitely be back
Very good. Excellent sweet potato fries. I tried the No Cow Burger made with eggplant. Breaded but not over-fried - yay! I've tried their other burgers before and they are good.
Amazing place , great service, super pet friendly, gender neutral bathrooms is a great bonus as well .
Stopped in for dinner and was greeted as we arrived. It was relatively busy and we were seated and promptly waited on. I enjoyed a burger and my wife enjoyed a salad. Both were very good and I will be a returning customer! Note: the rear parking lot is quite dark
First time in Albuquerque and decided to try this place. Really good food and service. Loved their Green Chile cheeseburger, only downfall is their burgers don't come with fries.
Groovy concept, retro-modern . Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I was not impressed with my blue cheese burger. It was dry, it appeared to have nothing but the produce, no mayo, etc. I noticed that the blue cheese was smeared not crumbles. Too big to get a real bite. (For me) dinning area was a bit chilly, no art or signage, at all to create conversation or to look at while waiting Which was really not that long. The French fries were not as good as mine. It wasn't a bad experience just not what I was expecting. Worth a trip, and I'll try em again.
Probably the best hamburger I've had in Albuquerque since moving here. Great patio atmosphere. Service was great.I would recomend this place to everyone.
My burger was awesome! Fries were perfect! Service excellent and prices very fair. My wife enjoyed her salad too! Great vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Excellent food. Long time in the back after ordering before our food got to us. Would be 7/5 stars if it wasn't like that. Improved speed of order to table would elevate this place immensely.
Great burgers and they didn't look at me cross-eyed when I asked about gluten-free options. Absolutely delicious, well- cooked food; and friendly, non-judgemental people. I love this place! It's a new favorite.
Great vegan burger! Homemade w egg plant! Awesome. Ok service. Nice atmosphere.
I'm going to get straight to the point. When you get a burger, the first thing you want to see is the beef patty, right? It says we take so much pride, and time in our product that you get the best no matter what. Nope not here, my family and I waited near a half-hour for two burgers, one cheese sandwich, and two orders of fries. When said food made it, I got a burger where the patty was half the size of the bun with a damn near salad on top, needless to say my last 5 bites was bun and lettuce. Wife was smart and ordered hers plane which turned out better then mine, and cheese sandwich look like it may have had one piece of cheese. Needless to say my girls didn't even finish it. Now the worst part, paying for a meal that could have been 3x better at home.... 39 dollars!! Best part I stood there looking at that price, handed the guy 40 bucks, put it in the register, the guy looked back at me and said what you need change back or something... Never again will I ever step foot in this restaurant again. Garbage is how I will end this.
Love the food service and atmosphere highly recommend this place
Pretty good burger! The shakes looked good too.
Absolutely destroyed this burger it was so good. The fried avocado was magnificent touch.
Good, get yours hands dirty burgers, with a nice and tasty variety of topping. Tasteful low-key location and place. Pricey but typical for a upscale-ish burger joint. Keep in mind the fries come separate. Wait staff are a bit inconsistent. Had to ask original waiter for something three times and she never brought it. Didn't help that she stood chatting to her friends at the table next to us the whole time. As we were waiting, another waiter came by and took care of us like a pro. Still it's overall a no-fuss, chill and good burger place. Try the salted caramel pretzel milkshake, it's a craving that keeps me coming back.
Management is awful! Two burgers came out well done when ordered medium rare. Manager would not allow server to discount the ticket at all. When questioned about the issue he said they “got busy”. So I guess try it when no one is there...or better yet, not at all. Super poor management, not recommended.
Very good burgers and attentive service. Can't fault them.
Very horrible customer service 10/10 would not recommend coming here... steer clear from this place as you can find better food with better service elsewhere for the same $$$
Amazing parmasan fries. Cool laid back atmosphere, patio dining avaliable.
Great place to take your dog! Friendly wait staff and yummy burgers, Scotias, and orange cream soda floats!
When they were fairly new ordered the no cow burger service was great! Burger was large an tasty! Tonight called in to go burger same as before. I know it was close to closing everyone wants to go home was treated like a ghost picking up a to go order. Took almost 5 minutes for someone to help me everyone walking by saying nothing. Then I picked up the bag felt like nothing was in there compared to the 5-6 times I had ordered out before. Got home I guess no cow turned into no nothing barely a patty. Times before were generous size. Taste was close all around but smaller an service was poor. Hope management steps it back up
Very good service and food. A great burger.
A great burger, great service, good IPA and red wine. When we needed a taxi the staff offered to pay for an Uber! What more could a visitor want. Wish we could return sooner!
My wife & I were fresh off the plane for a short trip to Santa Fe when we stopped in for dinner. The food was awesome (shout out zucchini fries) and the beer list was solid! Our server turned out to be the owner, Chris - we talked craft brewing, and he sent us off with a list of restaurants and venues to try when we got to Santa Fe. Thanks Chris & Holy Cow for starting our vacation off on the right foot!
Amazing food. Menu easily accommodates a variety of eating lifestyles, including keto and vegetarian. What a nice surprise. Every one at the table was happy.
Father's day fail.... Long wait ..... Like an hour for the food. Half that time to get drinks. Restaurant was dirty.. food on the floors, and tables weren't cleared for very long periods of time.. Finally. Food gets to the table... Minus all of our sides. No fries. No zucchini fries. No onion rings. .... No apologies.... It was extremely overpriced. I felt like the burgers weren't seasoned at all. Overcooked. Sad. I was really looking forward to it, based on the hype...
I love to come and get the burgers from here they are very good the fries also. The shakes are amazing as well, I come here at least once a month and I have no complains about the food the workers however are not so friendly... I'm sure it can definitely can make someone not want to come in.. That's something they should work on.
Absolutely delicious food! And a pup-friendly patio that is super well-shaded and comfortable even in the middle of the day heat!! We were super excited to find a place we could bring our pup for lunch (we were visiting town and didn't want to leave him alone in the hotel for a long time). Not only was he allowed to be there, but they brought out a plate of bacon for him (they said if they ever accidentally overcook any they save it for pups who visit) - so sweet!
Burgers very good. Great ambiance. They lost our order, but comped us. Definitely recommend the sweet potato fries!
I walked in at 7:30. Asked the sever did I need to order at desk? She. was short with me and said sit where you want! I've been sitting 8-10 min and no service. No greet. I just wanted to have dinner. Very disappointed. In addition I stood at the desk for a few more minutes. Identified the manager/owner and tried to show him my post. He also wasn't interested. I don't know if the food was good or not? I wasn't offerd any! Back in my room ordering pizza. I'm a server and a very good tipper. At the restaurant I work at this would not be tolerated!
Francisco was truly incredible! Served a special party of 11 for my sisters birthday and was very patient with us all. Our drinks were never left unfilled and the food was amazing. He made our visit all the more better. Pet friendly and was even acknowledge and served some pieces of bacon. Best customer service ever!
A little pricey. The food was good though. Don't go unless you plan on spending 20 dollars on just yourself
Great environment, friendly staff. The menu is the perfect size, so that you're not overwhelmed but there are still many options. Everything is good. I would STRONGLY recommend the salted caramel pretzel milkshake.
Great food at a great price! Convient location with friendly service. We will definitely come back!
Delicious food! The Salted caramel pretzel milkshake was amazing!
Fantastic 100% grass fed burgers. Fries are fried in canola oil, hence minus one star. Very dog friendly.
Great burger first time I have eaten here would highly recommend to any and all people looking for a delicious hamburger
I really enjoyed the seared tuna salad. It was good and filling. My family enjoyed the hamburgers a lot and the milkshakes. Our waitress was amazing as well.
Loved the food but the service. Waited almost a hour for 2 burgers and a order of fries. Otherwise I loved it.
The food was really good. The wait was over an hour after ordering, had to re-order all the drinks 30mins in, server checked on us 3 times in total and didnt deliver the food, never received a shake we ordered, but they made sure it was on the bill, and finally didnt receive an order of sweet potatoes fries until we were already done eating our food. Yes, it was busy, but if you have that many tables you should be able to serve all of them without such a disaster. It would be five stars because the food was great, but if you wait over an hour with no word from your server whats going on, Chef Gordon Ramsay couldnt of saved you.
Love this place. The food is always good. Great green chile! Sweet potato fries are awesome :)
Delicious thick juicy burgers with thoroughly enjoyable toppings, perfectly done fries, and plenty of beer and wine to enjoy. I have tried every burger and they are on point, for sure, If the flavor combinations are not your style, they're happy to construct your burger any way you want. They even have roasted eggplant if you're not up for cow. If you can handle it, they even have shakes, including a Guinness shake.
Holy Cow has a good, solid burger. The chef was actually able to cook the burger medium rare, which few restaurants have been able to deliver. The waiter was friendly and helpful. We had all the sides, which you have to pay for separately. The sauce for the parmesan zucchini was delicious. The sauce for the sweet potato fries was flavorless. They also have specialty milkshakes. They had a highchair, but no changing table.
These burgers are awesome! I had the one with fried avacado! Yum!
Probably the best burgers you can get downtown, possibly even in all of Albuquerque in my opinion. They have shakes that are delicious and even though their fries cost separately, it's worth it! They give you this huge plate of fries. Sweet potato or regular potato. Their onion rings are delish too. They have pretty good salads too.
First time coming here today, we came towards the end of the night and the server was super attentive very kind and patient and pleasant. Everyone we encountered was very kind And pleasant. Very nice atmosphere , cozy without feeling stuffy at all. I ordered the fried avacado burger, so good! I loved this burger best burger ever! The fries are amazing too! Large servings and not too messy. I didn’t feel greesey or bloated after so the meal was amazing! We loved our server!
This place is awesome! Stopped by due to stopped traffic, it was very busy and all the employees were on it doing their best to get to everyone. Great food, great service considering circumstances.
Pretty good burgers. I got it to go and it took awhile to get my order. They were pretty crowded so maybe that was it. Not sure about returning.
One of my favorite burger joints in ABQ. Always come here when craving a burger. The Holy Cow burger keeps me coming back. The sweet potato fries and onion rings are dank. Watch out for the pretzel Carmel milkshake. Good beer selection too. Love this place!
I have had all the sides and they are quite yummy. I like the Holy Cow burger a great deal. Beer prices are decent and the milkshakes are the best in town thus far! They have a great patio but not so much when it's 102 degrees but no one likes a patio when it's that hot! I recommend for a great burger, they aren't oversized. The side order id fries is certainly enough to split between 2 or 3 people. Yum! Give it a try!
The sweet potato fries were very under seasoned—not sure any salt was put on them at all. Ditto the burger. Thank goodness for ketchup! The patio is cool but service seemed overwhelmed for a Wednesday night
The burgers were big and pretty good. I definitely enjoyed the fries. I've only been once though.
