This is the place to stop if you traveling on I-10. Right off the freeway in the Fountains at the Farrah shopping mall. Food is made fresh with recipes from the original San Antonio restaurant. I ordered the #8 lite plate. Perfect for a smaller appetite. We also took home two dozen freshly made tortillas. I also appreciated the sanitized flatware. Very clean place.

Not the best Mexican food I have ever had, but definitely worth checking out. Tons of sauce options, good tasting food. You can ask for a sample of their sauces if you have never been so you find the one that is right for you!

We've been to Chuy's probably two dozen times at least. We've never had bad service, and never had bad food. Tonight we went in, it's Mexican mother's day, and Sunday is mother's day in the U.S. It's definitely the busiest we've seen it, and there was definitely more of a wait than we're used to here, but nothing was lacking. The food was every bit as good as we've grown accustomed to, and, while there was a wait for it, our server, the manager, the hostess team, and every other staff member we interacted with was professional, kind and friendly. The manager had offered to comp our meal, but, when the bill came out without the adjustment, we chose to go ahead and pay full pop anyway, so we could be sure to tip our very hard working waiter. Thank you all so much for your hard work. You made our Friday night wonderful, even when you were under so much pressure!

I had the Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas, and my wife had the Baja Tacos with fish! Sooo delicious! And the Julio Tini knocked her socks off, lol! P.S.: Ask for Emily. She is so knowledgeable about the entire menu, and is very friendly. We've been coming here for a while, and she needs to be made a manager.

First time here, Ordered chile con queso & chips and the Stacked green enchilada plate... The Chile con queso had a burnt taste to it so that ruined the whole bowl for me. For the first time ever after eating the first bite of the enchilada I removed the tortillas and just scraped everything off them because they tortillas felt like they came directly out of a bag .

Now I would normally give this place an easy 3 likely 4 star rating for the type of restaurant it is. But today is just not that day. I am 1 of 3 people sitting at the bar, but I’m the only one that doesn’t work here out of the 3. It is 1:34 on a Thursday afternoon and the bartender is a female. I did get my order in pretty quickly being that I knew what I wanted and my drink. After that the bartender had nothing to do with me other than me looking at her back while she talks to the other people that work here (but not working at the moment). Took her no less than 7 minutes to finally ask me if I wanted any chips and salsa. Said no since I was guessing that my food would be out shortly. I always tip good but will not be tipping a dime this time. Other than her sucking at her job the food was actually pretty good as usual.

Depending on who the cook is, your steak big-as-yo-face burrito might be mostly refried beans. It's hit and miss, but mostly miss the past several times I've been here, and I've had to complain before ordering to get a burrito made properly, which shouldn't be necessary. Last time we were here, we asked for more chips and the waitress never returned. They offer a nacho bar during certain hours, but they are usually poor at keeping it stocked, and they close it early. People waiting in line often waste their time when the staff never return to restock the bar. It's a poorly executed gimmick. Drink refills have been extremely slow the last several times we have been here. Napkins are always in short supply. Why so stingy on the napkins?

We love Chuy's!!! After living in Austin and eating at Chuy's frequently there, I was so excited when they came to El Paso! The service is always great, especially at the bar. We love the bartenders - they always make the best margaritas and are super friendly! We eat here about once a week - they have the best salsa fresco, chips and jalepeño ranch dip, their chicken tortilla soup is amazing, and we've loved everything else we've ordered off the menu. This is our favorite place to go when the weather is nice, too, because they have a great atmosphere on the patio!

The food is great. They make their own tortillas here. I specifically enjoy the fajitas here. They have excellent drink mix although they are a little pricey. They have a good environment and I love the shirts they sell. We have bought a couple. The staff is great and you get good service no matter how busy they get . They have a bar area and an outside sitting area which is nice when the weather is good.

The food is pretty good. What impresses me is that no matter how many times I or someone in my party has arranged to have a large group (15+), they always accommodate with no problem. Service is always attentive, as well. It's not my favorite place to eat when it's just my family, but it is my go-to for work lunches!

Excellent food! Chips are thin and crispy and salsa is fresh and spicy. I love the big as yo face burrito with steak and the creamy jalapeno sauce. When they have the pork special I highly suggest it as well! The nachos are also amazing.

The food isn't worth the money you will spend here. The food taste like they get the sauce from a can and pour it on. I came because my wife wanted some margaritas. Never again. We spend the same or less at Dominguez or Carnitas but for better food.

Went to this place. Big Mistake might as well go to Taco Bell. It’s expensive and those tacos, rice and Beans came out of a can. Don’t make the mistake I made. Don’t waste your money and your time it’s not even worth it. Go to Chico’s or even the tacos at Jack in the Box are fresher and tastier, I promise. But please I’m telling you guaranteed, if you go you will not eat 50% of what the call food. Hands down.

We stopped in to grab a drink and something to eat after working all day outside. The chicken tortilla soup was awesome! The bartender was really cool and suggested, if I wanted more spice for my tortilla soup, a red salsa... No joke, this salsa was atomically hot, just how I like it- clear your sinuses hot! The atmosphere was festive and chill, everyone there looked to be enjoying themselves immensely. Just as an observation- the floor is made of super shiny tiles, kinda like bathroom tiles, so ladies, make sure your heels have some grip to them as a precaution. The floors look really cool, but can get really slippery if wet or wearing inadequately gripping shoes.

I generally have really low expectations of any Tex-Mex restaurant, but to my surprise Chuy's was actually really good. The shrimp tacos I had were delicious and the frozen swirl margarita was strong but still very good. I would definitely go back.

Great service from start to finish. We sat outside on the open patio for the perpetually changing sights around us. They have outdoor heaters, too, in case the air turns cool. Started with the thin house tostadas and flavourful salsa, which were delicious and worthy of mention. I tried something out of the ordinary; ordered the signature Boom Boom Chicken Enchiladas. They were fantastic! Such an eclectic mix of flavours: not too spicy, balanced by a green chili Tex-Mex rice and refried beans served on the side. Well on the way to full from the generous portions, we ordered Chuy's Tres Leches cake topped with light drizzles of caramel sauce and whipped cream. Dessert was a another highlight after such a great meal. The location - with its vintage ornamentation throughout - brought back fond memories of the Chuy's in Austin, Texas on Barton Springs Road. It's worth a return visit and I am certain we will be back. Thanks to our server and all the staff who made us feel so welcome!

Great as always. Monday to Friday 4 to 7 pm is unlimited nacho bar. Both my sons love the refried beans with the chips. Got tacos Al carbon this time and it was delicious.

The atmosphere was great even though it was a little loud. It took the waiter a while to serve us. There were about 10 of us and I seemed to be the only one who really likes their food. There wasn’t a lot to choose from on the menu. My daughter got the regular enchiladas and I got the queso chicken enchiladas. My plate was much better than hers. The taco salads were very pleasing to the eye. Overall it was good for the price but I don’t think I’ll go back.

I normally try the food a couple of times before I leave a review however I have been here 3 times and the food has not been the best all those 3 times it’s more on the bland side of things.
